1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uncertainty in the NFT market on: July 20, 2022, 11:54:53 AM
Downtrend week for NFTs this week I would say given that nft floor price for most of the blue chip NFTs are on decline.
I suspect because new NFTs coming into the market taking the excitement such as Stepn shoeboxes, the americans, kingship, and terraform doing some reasonable volumes as well as people taking profit and de risking from crypto price recovery https://www.coingecko.com/
What you mean is this is manipulation and it was obvious in the market. In fact, NFTs are in the hypes which makes people encouraged to invest during the bull market but as the bear season comes, absolute drops come next.

I have a reason why I don't like NFT, a collectible tokens can't be in long-term investment which I think is one reason also that many investors never after them even during this time.
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The number of hodlers on: July 20, 2022, 11:12:29 AM
Well, not everyone wants to sell as soon as the market goes through a major shift. Many people hold until the market recovers a little before they make their moves. I don’t think the market will dip compared to the previous years. It is still bearable.
That is also what I think but, we can't assure that everything went okay and no longer a huge drop to come after this short break. The price went a little bit high giving some chance to sell which is it become uncertain if this uptrend momentum will stay longer or just another drop taken again.

For now, we haven't a clear vision of what it happen next but I was predicting for the price it never goes far away from $20k, might just it go around from $20k- $25k.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 20, 2022, 08:09:22 AM
Not sure if this will add a pressure on Golovkin shoulder as he is being force to defend his WBA belt against Lara regardless of the outcome of the fight.

So after the fight with Canelo, he will be given 5 days which belt he want to keep. And if he wanted to go down to 160 lbs, then him and Lara are being ordered by the WBA to have one unified champion. Lara is the "regular WBA" champion.

Pressure is always there because everyone wants to win, but this fight could give GGG more money than the fight defending his belt, so I think he knows how to handle this. Let's wait for the outcome of GGG and Canelo first, then we would know what would be GGG's next action.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 20, 2022, 07:11:04 AM
Quite worthy of each other rivals, I hope Teofimo will not lose his speed by moving to a heavier weight category and will be able to perform a dance and do his flip after a successful fight, the most important thing is not to forget that Campa is also dangerous at close range.
I more concern about the power though, Teofimo at 135 lbs is known to be a puncher, not a fast boxer. But as he moves to a heavier weight, we will see if he can bring that power to 140 lbs.

Yes, Campa might be dangerous, but I think Lopez will win here. Probably it will be by knock out, if if Campa is really tough he might gave Lopez all he can handle but still squeaking a tight unanimous decision from the judges.

Yes, he is still a dangerous fighter that's why Lopez has to work hard to win here. Tampa had only 1 loss in his career (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/578516), but has not fought a boxer like Teofimo Lopez, so this is a good match up and I like to see a KO here.

Lopez really has to work his stamina out though we all know that he's too consistent during his previous fights.
Tampa is aggressive and seems to be ready for every match. I guess this is a perfect match and this fight will be another remarkable match this year. I still put my hope for Lopez though.

Of course, Lopez is still a great fighter now already an undefeated fighter.

Campa is a good challenge for Lopez, and if he wins this fight impressively, this should put him in line as the challenger of the champion. In this new division, he cannot just challenge the champion because it's unfair, he needs to improve his rank first so he will be number 1 on the list of challengers.

Not sure if after this he would be given a chance challenging the champion, but I hope he keeps winning until that time will come.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Luna Classic - Thoughts? on: July 19, 2022, 11:27:40 PM

However the case of Luna is completely different, the coin collapsed in less than a week and it was necessary to issue a new coin, this does not bring any confidence to traders and as such it is unlikely the coin will recover even 1% of its former glory.
If they are true to this project, they don't need to create another one. But what they did it is just trying to divert the mind of the investors, however, they fail to do it knowing that people now have been known this kind of dirty tactics, this is an exit scam, and trying to scam again. No, that was enough, they were supposed to return the money of the investors if they are really committed to running this project and gaining trust again.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 19, 2022, 02:28:41 PM
Well, it seems to me that the fight will take place anyway, maybe it's just an attempt to create an intrigue to attract audience interest, nothing more, but why is there so little hype around, maybe Showtime is not showing proper interest here.
Little hype? I don't think so, I believe the moment they will officially announce this fight, those tickets will be sold out easily. This is an anticipated fight, so I believe everyone will be eager to pay and watch this through PPV.

Yes, there is no need to worry about the sale of tickets for ppv, I think there will be no problems here, there is just a situation of forced silence, because both boxers have no defeats and now someone will have to lose, mutual determination is needed here.

They are not only thinking of the money but more about the legacy because it's good to retire an undefeated fighter like Mayweather. Actually, both can make the biggest payday of their career but they know the risk because the loser will eventually decrease his value or popularity.

1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 18, 2022, 10:29:14 PM
The market is very volatile in this month like a roller coaster movement, Is the roller coaster movement in the money market both the price of bitcoin & ethereum whale controlling it?
Whales are just somehow contributing to the volatility of the market, they are not controlling the price. And even you as a small investor do as well as in the first place, the market has been very volatile since the very beginning and that was because people are buying and selling. So, nothing we have to be surprised with the market situation and if we gonna understand this roller coaster trend, we come to the point of being thankful as we have the chance to buy at low and sell at high which gives us profit.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 18, 2022, 08:17:22 AM
Better in blackjack than in dice? Possibly. But for a martingale strategy to work it requires a large amount of capital. There could be instances that the house will be on a good roll and keeps on winning every set of game. Ending up with nothing more to bet will cut the strategy leaving you with nothing in return.
But yes, it's better used in a game like that where there's a chance you might get 1/10 win. Pulling off that one win will clear things back with profits and then reset.

Regardless of the capital you have, I don't think it will work. For example, if you do martingale strategy on dice and let's say you have an infinite bankroll, do you think the casino will not limit your bet? I think it's a wrong perception that the martingale strategy would really work since a limit is always implemented in every casino.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 18, 2022, 08:01:42 AM
eventually we gets more matured and understand how to spot a value based on the line movement.
That's what we should achieve as a gambler, complaining about fixed games is bad, we should already see that it could happen anytime so we can anticipate the kind of approach we will do in betting. Smart bettors are happy with fixed games as they know which side will win most of the time, we should be smart.
1491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: July 15, 2022, 12:16:22 PM

Lol, I guess for altcoins to pump, they have to wait for bitcoin first. But as we can see in the chart, in the last 2-3 days the price of bitcoin goes down from $21k to now just in the $19,800. So that is a big slash and so the market is on a downturn and then altcoins are not going to pump. On the contrary, this market will continue to suffer this year, so I'm not expecting any recovery soon. Maybe bitcoin will go on a sideways again and we will not see $30k this December.
The behavior of the market doesn't really change. I thought I'd see that altcoins will no longer follow the trend of Bitcoin and goes its direction independently but never. we still see them following the same trend as Bitcoin. This is the reason why I was focusing on the price movement of Bitcoin knowing that whatever happens to Bitcoin this will also happen to any altcoins.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 15, 2022, 11:33:40 AM
Personally I would invest a little amount of money in some popular meme tokens after seeing the massive spike in the price of Doge coin and SHIB last year I don't want to underestimate meme tokens although I understand that some meme tokens aren't going to survive in crypto currency market nevertheless there is possibility to make profit with meme tokens which has good volume in exchanges.
And you are right, we can't underestimate them but guess what, they are not the type of coins that are good for long-term investment. Might taking them during the hype could give you huge profit but if you miss them selling at a higher price, certainly you are in big losses. Think that these meme coins aside from Doge and Shiba are useless, we can't find them usable in the market but just a sort of market presence.

Anyways, you are on your own. Perhaps, you can pick any coins to invest as it was your money but please, don't overthink that meme coins could give you more as it was not.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 15, 2022, 11:12:04 AM
I believe Ioka has more world title fight experience than Nietes.
I don't know about this but I like to believe that Nietes would not lose in this fight if he is not old, at his age now, I think Ioka will bounce back and beat him. Losing a split decision means the fight is very competitive, so now Kazuto Ioka has the edge due to his age and he is more active than Nietes I think.

Yes. I also think that prime Nietes will beat a prime Ioka. Both are the same 4 division champions and are future Hall of Famers. They nearly have the same styles too. They're both smart, technical, patient, and armed with excellent jabs. I just believe that prime Nietes is just slightly better.

Back to reality. Ioka has a clear edge in this coming rematch. I don't think Nietes has the power to knockout Ioka and his age makes the mission becoming nearly impossible.
Yes, no doubt! Nietes will indeed beat badly Ioka if they were both seating at the peak of their respective prime, Nietes wouldn't be the longest champion if he's not that strong enough to defend the belt every time had a fight. But that is all in the past because if we look closely at the situation now, lots have already changed and we can already say that Nietes is on the wrong side in this fight because Ioka is much younger and definitely have more edge to win in this rematch.

But his journey now has ended, not officially though but the way he fought tells us that he is already aging. Nietes is not an aggressive fighter, he is more of a technical fighter but we can see that his power is not strong enough to hurt Ioka in this fight.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 15, 2022, 10:41:05 AM

I believe PPV sharing is probably the main reason why they haven't come up with a deal yet. Spence's previous PPV buys are a little better than Crawford's. Spence also has more belts to offer in the division but Crawford is the only ATG of the two.

There's no other reasons, Crawford here has to agree with a small share because Spence will not agree with a 50/50 share.
he has more belts and he has a better PPV record in the past compared to Crawford.

We get it, Crawford is also a champion but Spence have proven enough based on the numbers he have.

However, Spence versus Crawford might be the biggest payperview revenue in the history of boxing. It might be more than the payperview numbers of Mayweather versus Pacman. It would be very stupid for Terence Crawford's team to not demand a share equal to Spence's share.

I'm not sure about this, Mayweather vs Pacman did 4.6M buys, that is hard to crack. Although that Mike Tyson vs RJJ did a decent numbers in the pandemic reaching around 1.65M.

So I'm guessing maybe around that numbers or maybe it will be as high as 2.0M but nowhere close to even Conor vs Floyd or Floyd vs Oscar Dela Hoya.

Mayweather is a PPV king, period.

The reason why he is the richest boxer in the history of boxing if I'm not mistaken, and I don't think the current era of boxers would defeat him. His era is full of exciting fighters, they have Pacman of course, now, boxers doding each other just to remain undefeated.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 15, 2022, 09:34:02 AM
So it means that Ayton will stay with Phoenix after-all? Things have been said and done, hopefully they can still patch up things.

However, does it mean though that Ayton could still be used as a trade bait for KD?

So the plot still thickens and everyone is waiting for any news regarding KD's request for a trade to the Suns.

Good for the Suns if they will stay but that means there's no KD in the Suns. There's a rumor that he could play with the Miami Heat, I think that team is a legit championship contender than the Suns due to their great defense.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 14, 2022, 02:16:10 PM
DYIP almost break their losing streak as they fought really hard against SMB.

SMB only won by 1 point, the final score is 108-109.
Easy wi on DYIP handicap, and almost the ML.
Terrafirma dyip Almost win against SMB but still the number 1 of this season will win a big 3pionts from the bigman junmar pajardo after that 3piont play dyip did not scored even though they have a chance to win if the ball will shoot by their rookie but he  did not make it  that drive to the basket almost break their losing streak but sad to say they don't have the chance to win a single game in this season.
That should be their biggest win because they could upset the number 1 team in the PBA now while they are at the bottom of the standing.

The 2nd game, Phoenix vs NP, it was a very entertaining game, if only Perkins made the last shot, we could have seen another game that went to OT.
Northport won the 2nd game by 3 points only, it looks like a playoff game.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 01:46:11 PM
^^ For sure, the commissioner is not going to be happy with that. Yes players have freedom, but in this case, and if I'm not mistaken, this is a super max contract being given to KD and then after a few years and he still has like 2 years in his contract, he suddenly request a trade? It is close to being disrespectful to Brooklyn, after emptying their pockets not just for him but for Irving as well, he will suddenly ditch the Nets because it's not going his way? Yeah, for sure new rules are going to be set in by the NBA to address this kind of scenario.
Obviously they are and rules really need to change regarding to that since NBA is not really good in that side because they give to much power to a player and this really hurt a lot on their organization if the same scenario like this will happen in future.

I wonder when this controversy stop and for sure the team where this two guys landed will encounter the same problem since they tolerate those kind of players.

If there's no rule that will make it illegal, you cannot say it's toleration. Players has the rights as well, that's why they have a contract, and as long as their action does not violate the contract, it's always legal but not every legal is acceptable in the eyes of the fans and the organization.

We are talking here of respect, or sometimes what we called as unwritten rules. Durant is not a great player IMO, he is transferring to other teams when he cannot carry a team, not a good example because great players stay in a team, and work for the improvement of the team until they become successful.

I don't know who started this, but it seems like players nowadays are good at demanding trade already, when in the past it should be the organization who only decide for their players.
1498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 14, 2022, 12:29:23 PM
It must be very uncomfortable to have a 50% deposit reduction now. So I am more than sure that almost all those who bought bitcoin before the collapse are regretting their purchases. It's elementary mentally pressure, because you could buy a lot more coins now. And now you have to wait for who knows how long to make a profit.
It really feels regretting at first but I've to feel better now as I already accept that this really comes. We can't direct the market where it goes and probably commences not to dump after we buy. But the situation comes mostly in opposite direction and usually, we got mess especially if we don't undergo into market research. This is a very common and the usual thing that happened with newbies, and that is why they mostly complain about their losses which in fact it was their fault.

It is very important for us to give focus on the market chart before buying and tried to listen to other's opinions in order to avoid missing out.
1499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: July 14, 2022, 11:52:26 AM
In this bear market, does 100$ on Ethereum or Bitcoin make any difference? As a newbie who have only 100$ to risk is this even enough? Can this get me anywhere?
$100 on Bitcoin could make a lot of difference depending on the approach you adopt towards your investment. If you adopt DCA in the dip you can make turns of profit. If you are knowledgable about crypto trading you stand a chance of making even double your capital and if you choose to hodl if prices starts hiking your profit margin will expand. It is best you learn a strategy you will like to adopt before embarking on the risk
I don't inject the word "profit' into all beginner's minds but rather say to have a positive mindset. It can't be denied because of that word, many people got crazy and even think that crypto investment is a quick-rich scheme which in fact, it was not and can never be. Investing $100? I don't see any profit from it actually, we can never expect that amount it grows into $150 or $200 and this is the reason why. I am supposed to say to make use of this amount to explore the market, adding more funds could be next if we are sure that we can handle the stress already.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: July 13, 2022, 01:12:08 PM

How should I deal with such an issue? I certainly thought of using a VPN, but I only have a free one, meaning that it could easily be used by another person on the website simultaneously, which could potentially lead to a ban. Stake and Fortunejack are also banned, after making a few guesses, Roobet still works fine.

Forcing to gamble despite knowing that your ISP is blocked would only give you a problem in the long run. I suggest you to look for other casinos that accept your IP, that way you will not think of your account getting freezed and you can focus on what you are doing.
