1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 14, 2022, 12:29:23 PM
It must be very uncomfortable to have a 50% deposit reduction now. So I am more than sure that almost all those who bought bitcoin before the collapse are regretting their purchases. It's elementary mentally pressure, because you could buy a lot more coins now. And now you have to wait for who knows how long to make a profit.
It really feels regretting at first but I've to feel better now as I already accept that this really comes. We can't direct the market where it goes and probably commences not to dump after we buy. But the situation comes mostly in opposite direction and usually, we got mess especially if we don't undergo into market research. This is a very common and the usual thing that happened with newbies, and that is why they mostly complain about their losses which in fact it was their fault.

It is very important for us to give focus on the market chart before buying and tried to listen to other's opinions in order to avoid missing out.
1502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: July 14, 2022, 11:52:26 AM
In this bear market, does 100$ on Ethereum or Bitcoin make any difference? As a newbie who have only 100$ to risk is this even enough? Can this get me anywhere?
$100 on Bitcoin could make a lot of difference depending on the approach you adopt towards your investment. If you adopt DCA in the dip you can make turns of profit. If you are knowledgable about crypto trading you stand a chance of making even double your capital and if you choose to hodl if prices starts hiking your profit margin will expand. It is best you learn a strategy you will like to adopt before embarking on the risk
I don't inject the word "profit' into all beginner's minds but rather say to have a positive mindset. It can't be denied because of that word, many people got crazy and even think that crypto investment is a quick-rich scheme which in fact, it was not and can never be. Investing $100? I don't see any profit from it actually, we can never expect that amount it grows into $150 or $200 and this is the reason why. I am supposed to say to make use of this amount to explore the market, adding more funds could be next if we are sure that we can handle the stress already.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: July 13, 2022, 01:12:08 PM

How should I deal with such an issue? I certainly thought of using a VPN, but I only have a free one, meaning that it could easily be used by another person on the website simultaneously, which could potentially lead to a ban. Stake and Fortunejack are also banned, after making a few guesses, Roobet still works fine.

Forcing to gamble despite knowing that your ISP is blocked would only give you a problem in the long run. I suggest you to look for other casinos that accept your IP, that way you will not think of your account getting freezed and you can focus on what you are doing.
1504  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: July 13, 2022, 11:59:56 AM
From my opinion, if I'm a president i think i will adopt cashless policy in my country,  because with the cashless system of getting or trading in the country, it will limit the level and situation of crime this time. Because when looking at it very well it seems that buying and selling of things now it's likely going viral with the system of digital system of money without physical Cash and without buying any items with fiat currency. So if i were a leader in government i would have legalized it and make it to be culture
It was just for you mate, but you can direct others and tell you your plan or even they will follow your desires as certainly they have a different plan and opinion in regards to cashless mode of payment. Embracing this policy needs support from the community as well and much more from those who will accept and impose such rules. I can't say but likely, not all are in favor of that.

And besides, this was not the solution to crime rates, this will even help to increase it. We can embrace but not a MUST.
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with the market? on: July 13, 2022, 11:24:25 AM
The market is getting back to stability but I think we might still experience some bear in the coming weeks.
We're not done yet, dump are still we are able to expect rather than pumps. I'd foresee this bear season will stay for a while until the end of this year and even possibly extend early next year.
It could be puzzling what will happen next but there is one thing that we are sure about, the bull season comes next after this bear season. It is really worth it to buy and hold rather than reject this low-price buying opportunity.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 12, 2022, 12:42:09 PM

We don't want our funds to get trapped, the same that happens with the OP but for the OP, you have no choice for now but to continue what you are doing there which is staking since pulling out your funds will give you nothing but a loss. Staking is mostly for those who have a patience to wait because it usually takes time for you to earn on using this method. If you want to earn in a quickest possible way then why not venture trading?
That is one risk upon staking as we handed over our tokens to the exchange and whatever it happens to them, we don't have any control of it and do not even have the chance to get out funds from them especially when it was an exit scam. And even it was 1000%APY, as long as I am not sure about the project and the exchange as well, I couldn't make myself gamble.
Well, it's for the OP now to decide after seeing our opinion - but I need for you to think it wisely and do base on what you understand.

1507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 12, 2022, 12:07:27 PM
Just last night I was monitoring bitcoin and I was wondering if I would sell Bitcoin because it was 20, 405 $. It's a pity and I didn't immediately decide to sell, because if I did I would probably buy again now because Bitcoin dropped to 19, 500 $ and now it will rise again by more than 20k$ plus. So with this movement of Bitcoin in the market I can even say that the bear market season is not over yet, so there is a little bit of patience to wait. If there is still a chance to purchase of bitcoin, let's do it as long as there is still a chance before kicking hard in the cryptocurrency market.
The volatility of the market seems to be our tool to generate a profit in this bearing condition.
Buy at $19k and then sell when it reaches $20k, that $1000 price increment is big enough these days. Just to say that we need to be wise and strategically performing, we can't beat the market indeed that is why we use to find a way on how we could still make some money despite the bear situation. Honestly, I can't just dare hold for a long time as it only wastes my time that is why I take advantage of the market up and down.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 11, 2022, 08:18:43 AM

Let's hope to see a good toe-to-toe fight from these two extraordinary fighters, and how will they end this rivalry.

I would expect that because the last two fights are a toe to toe fights, they would not disappoint use, this is going to be a very entertaining fight and probably just like the last two fights, it will still be a close fight if there's no KO that's gonna happen.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 11, 2022, 07:47:27 AM

Mark Magsayo started to show some stamina loss in just the 4th round. That was unusual to him.

Rey Vargas really put a tough job on the champion making Magsayo release much effort right at the early rounds. Magsayo's quickness that supposed to be his advantage, isn't utilized much. However, even with that situation, the Champion was able to put some damage too on his challenger in the later rounds but Vargas owned him in the end.

115-112 Vargas, 114-113 Magsayo, 115-112 Vargas - almost a unanimous decision for Vargas.

So unfortunate for Magsayo but Vargas deserves the win. Big Respect to him.

Agreed. I stopped watching on round 8 because it was beginning to become very boring. Anyone who was watching would know already that Vargas would be the winner.

Also, were much of the voters of the poll from the Philippines? There are 15 votes for Magsayo and there is only 1 vote for Vargas hehehehe. Who is the Mexican poster in the thread?

Same here, didn't finished the fight, it was obvious that the boxer I'm supporting is not going to win because he didn't have any to offer in this fight. He talks about Vargas not running, but he didn't have the skills as well and make the fight exciting.

And I will say that it was really boring, a snoozer fight and I'm right. When I check the score afterwards it is Vargas who won on the score card. So I guess Magsayo is just another hype fighter, just B level to me, in my opinion. Not in the same breathe as other Filipino greats like Manny and Nonito.

I agree with the B Level type of boxers, he was just lucky in his previous fights but when he faced a real challenger, that's where he struggles. He does not go all out war with the challenger, when Vargas are using his advantage, Magsayo should be more aggressive to score a knock out.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 08, 2022, 10:41:11 AM
Yes, the difference in their height is of course visually very noticeable, I don't think it plays a decisive role, but of course the impressive difference is probably also the operator tried to choose an angle to emphasize how much Magsayo is lower than Vargas.
Not just the height, reach difference too.
70 and a half for Vargas while 68 for Magsayo.
There's a reason why Vargas will keep on running in this fight and that's to maximize the advantage of his reach. Just put in a lot of jabs and try to win a decision.
Magsayo on the other hand should come up with a strategy that will make this fight as close as he can. That's where he will get his KO punch. Let Vargas do his norm of running until he exhausts himself.
Looks like that will be their game plan, jab jab and to bust Magsayo, that is if he can land and that is jab is so stiff and that it will put a dent on Magsayo's face.

And he has to throw it like going down, so it will take a lot of effort instead of like horizontal punch. I think Magsayo will become the aggressor and target the body because Vargas is so tall. He has all the blue print on how to beat a taller guy, just watch Manny destroys Chris Algieri or even Antonio Margarito.

If he can do that successfully, then he might win the fight. But based on the what I see in youtube, Vargas has been down 3 times in different opponents in the past, and although he stood up and win the fight but we can see that he has a weakness. If Magsayo will caught him clean, a KO punch would be great to see.
1511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 08, 2022, 09:12:25 AM
Hold your horses!
They say you should not be making any moves when the market is reacting aggressively. All you have to do is keep it cool and only step in for the coins which are comparatively stable to rest of the market. Off course, Bitcoin is another story and you can buy it any time. I'm mostly focused on Bitcoin and few other alts which I always prefer in my portfolio.
Well, the cool idea is to stick with Bitcoin when the market is crashing, taking altcoins is a risky decision. However, playing games with the market and taking the opportunity while prices are cheap gives us a chance to earn more when it rallies back. Yet, it can't be instant and this has become a problem for some newbies, they are not prepared for it as in their mind crypto investments are easy money.
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2022, 08:05:09 AM
Well, a former GSW player, Payton II is no longer going to be part of his champ team. He'll be out of the team and will play for Portland Blazers. This is like a week old news but I've just seen it.

I thought that most of them will be retained by the management but it seems only those that had really contributed a lot. Thus, this is part of the business, letting go is a must and happens most of the time.
It's a sad separation but this is all for them. Now, they will have better salary in different teams and all they have to do is keep up what they are doing in their newly found family. JTA and Otto Porter Jr. also signed in a different team.
It will happen eventually and I have seen the Warriors team discover new talents in their roster, I bet they will do it again. Some name who is not a known will shine again whenever they need it.

They've gotten a better contract when they left GSW, so that is already a big plus for their career. Other teams saw them as a big potential player for them, as they have the experience now as NBA champions. JTA to Lakers, Porter to Toronto if I'm not mistaken and the biggest contract amongst ex-GSW, PGII with Portland.

It's bitter sweet but the Warriors will have to deal with it letting go of them. I'm looking for somewhat a big return in Chase center for this guys, for sure there will be a championship tribute.

Anyone who are looking for a big contract could sign to the Warriors to be trained by their system, these young guys are privileged to play with Curry and they get better. They deserve that big contract as they really work hard, now, the Warriors are ready to add new faces to prepare for the next season.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: July 07, 2022, 11:08:45 PM
I agree with you. When we look at the coinmarketcap and coingecko sites, a new project is added almost every day. Although not all of them are bounty arrangements, there is definitely a bounty arrangement among them. When we look at the bounty topic in the forum, we see that it is constantly active.
Actually the projects listed on CMC and Coingecko are not proportional to the number of projects that are created every day, I have done research on one potential airdrop group and every day there is always an airdrop program from different projects, maybe hundreds of new projects every day , but many new projects no longer have allocations for the bounty program and choose to add them to the airdrop program with limited allocations, they can get more promotions from airdrop participants even for paying smaller tokens.
That is the problem now as many people still think that airdrops give them passive rewards, they'll bound to have an easy money mindset which only fails them and end up blaming the market.
Earning $5, $10 worth of tokens - they need to waste their time grabbing that opportunity but most of them are useless as they can't even sell their tokens/rewards in the market. In fact, this is a long and continuous story with these airdrops and bounties, but many people still never learn already.
1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down. on: July 07, 2022, 01:29:27 PM
We have the DCA strategy available, why don't we use it? There is no need to wait any further for the market when we know that the market is unpredictable and we don't know what will happen next. We've been in a bear market for a while and bitcoin is down 70% from ATH too, if you keep waiting for the bottom you'll probably miss the train and it won't come back for you. If you don't have faith in bitcoin then best leave the market and if you believe in it buy and dca when it drops more.
That I guess they are not familiar with the DCA strategy and just thought about buying 1BTC.
Well, anyways smart investors will never let the bear season ends without filling their bags, it is supposed we have to adopt this kind of mindset and we all reach our goal and become rich someday. But sadly, it was not - many people still living with doubts and even predicting Bitcoin go deeper.
Actually, it was a waste of time waiting for that.
1515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Fall Below The Previous 20k ATH possible? on: July 06, 2022, 12:26:02 PM
It looks like what is happening is going to be a painful drop and a lot of people expected 20K to be the lowest bitcoin price but in reality it's more than 20K, and currently the bitcoin price is 19K and I hope it doesn't hit 18K. And if that happens I think 15K will also be reached and if it's not strong enough to sustain it, 13k is also possible and maybe 10k is the end of a very painful drop.

Now down to $18k, $13k does not seem so far away.
Wonder how long before miners start going bankrupt.

If that so happen, I'll still buy more...I can't be hopeless anyway even if it drops below $10k.
I still entrust with Bitcoin and in the market, I see the worse one last 2018-2020 where Bitcoin almost fall down but look? We are able to see Bitcoin at $60k during the bull season. I was just to figure it out, things can be alright after the hard times - we don't just let this negativity drives us, I was still holding and patiently waiting for the recovery as it was indeed to come.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 06, 2022, 12:00:16 PM
If we are into the look of profitable investment or job, it is better to forget about joining airdrop and bounty programs, they are less profitable and even nothing. Their time was been done already that was last 2016-2017 where you can really see decent bounty rewards and valuable airdrops which are very available to sell but for now, what we got is a big opposite, and the majority are scam/shitcoins.

Well, it was your choice, yet you hear some piece of advice and it's up for you to consider that.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 06, 2022, 04:52:38 AM
I'm not impressed with how he won in the casino but I'm impressed with how he handle his business in order for it to grow and become a multi billion dollar business. Going to the casino depressed is not a good idea, he is just lucky enough but that was $5k turn into $27k in a week, not a major success though.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 06, 2022, 04:29:54 AM
BTW, we have games tomorrow after that Sunday break.

ROS vs Bolts
Dyip vs Gin Kings

Will the Dyip continue running with their losing streak on?  Grin
Dyip is the new Blackwater right now Cheesy.
Well, if only they will not made some useless trades in the past then they must've created a good team that can compete with other teams right now but.. it is what it is.
The streak continues especially that they are facing the top team Ginebra San Miguel and they will get a playoff spot with their win.
Exactly, this is going to be an easy win by Ginebra, I wouldn't be suprise if they lose by 20 points or more because DYIP now is a very bad team, you are just wasting your money if you will bet on them.

Bolts Vs. ROS. Both are struggling teams right now but ROS is at the bottom with only 1 win compare to Bolts' 3 so maybe I will go with Meralco with this one.
It's 50/50 for me, however, I trust the Bolts here more than the ROS becacuse they have lots of shooters and their defense are more precise.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: July 06, 2022, 03:52:52 AM

Fortuna will not be very easy fight for Ryan, specially that Javier wanted to proved that Ryan is just all pure hype. But we have seen a lot of boxers who face Garcia and said the same thing. Tagoe, run, Campbell was close but he got knock out. Duno was calling him before and then Ryan shut his mouth for good never to be heard again. So I think Ryan will win, but he needs to put some extra effort and be impressive in this fight so that he will be again into the social media calling out fighters like Davis and Haney and maybe they will give in.

I think it will be easy for Garcia because Fortuna is not even a popular boxer.
His promoter has probably cherry picked this fight for Garcia to have an impressive fight before fighting a real challenger in his division.

If Tank Davis is really waiting for him, then after this we will surely see a very entertaining fight, and I think I grade it an even fight on the chances of winning.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 06, 2022, 03:29:31 AM

But I will still go with the knockout or the range of rounds for Magsayo. They will definitely listed this, maybe 24 hours before the fight so for those who want to bet on that, maybe a little patience is needed. But if you don't have like me, hehehehe, ML with some decent bet will do for now.

I'm waiting for this one as well, the odds should be high and I think there's a big possibility that Magsayo will win via KO. The chance is high for a KO than him winning via decision, so he himself is pretty much aware of that and I expect them to be more aggressive in the early rounds.
