I don't know if it's just me, but I'm having a hard time understanding what you are saying TBH. I mean I'm not a native English speaker, but I can at least elaborate what I'm trying to tell to everyone. Anyway...

~If someone can teach me how to know btc prices or If not Im ready to Pay for it.
Im not here to gamble Im here to do sure money and for sure profit.
You're trying to ask if somebody here knows where the price of Bitcoin goes with 100% accuracy?
The term "CERTAINTY" isn't applicable in crypto, but "PROBABILITY" it is. In crypto, there's no way for us investors to know what will be the price movement of Bitcoin with 100% accuracy. What we can do only is to predict what can happen. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Simple as that.

BTW, if you're telling that you can pay somebody just to fulfill your dream then just save your money because NO ONE can do it. Sure money? Sure profit? That doesn't exists in the crypto space. Tongue In your dreams maybe. Wink

So this how my Life dream and yours Also nobody don't need to work If they know btc prices.
I also dreamed of having an ability that I can predict the price of Bitcoin with 100% accuracy, but the reality is it will not happen. Nevertheless, I can still achieve my dream even though I don't have that kind of ability. Tongue

Don't need to work? Work your a** off OP, and don't be a lazy investor.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Gaming Tokens to Hold for the Bull Run on: February 06, 2024, 02:50:25 AM
If I will consider the current gaming tokens that we have, I guess Ronin is the best gaming token to hold right now.

Not a financial advice of course, but the project has survived thru the bear market. It got hyped during the pandemic with Axie Infinity, and that hyped went down gradually. Did the project stopped developing? No, and there are many games that are being created. They continued to develop until they got their own Blockchain. Now many games are being created under the blockchain, and I expect more in the future.

One factor that I always look at when it comes to projects is how well they can perform when things got really bad, and they're the one of the only few gaming tokens that survived, and even though I'm not holding their token anymore nor playing their games, I believe that the RON token will be the one that will go up during the bull run. Also it got listed on Binance as well, so I guess that increases the chances. Smiley

Of course I might be wrong, and many people here have different opinions with regards to this one.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any airdrops you are anticipating this year? on: February 06, 2024, 02:17:00 AM
So guys, what are the airdrops or even great amount of rewards you are looking forward to in 2024?
Wormhole, Orbiter Finance, Linea, zkSync, Zerolend, MilkyWay, Berachain, Stride, Scallop, NAVI, Saga, Plume, Mode, Mavia.

TBH, I'm having a hard time being updated with all of those projects. I'm not focusing that much on Linea and zkSync even though they're being funded by many VCs already, and it's because it's saturated. Many already participated in the different apps under both blockchains, and even if I join, I will only get a few tokens. Not worth my time, and I'll just buy their tokens. I'll focus more on the tokens that have few to not that many people joining.

We are at the start of the year, but we've seen many airdrops already. Manta Network, Jupiter, WEN, Altlayer, Dymension, and many more in the future.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: February 06, 2024, 01:56:31 AM
For me:
  • Bitcoin is an asset.
  • Also, Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is a new technology introduced to us.
  • Bitcoin is a new way for us Average Joes to make a transaction without a 3rd party.
  • Bitcoin is an opportunity. Opportunity for us to earn more just by having a computer, internet connection, and knowledge.
As much as I want to share only positives on it, I'll share also some negatives like:
  • Bitcoin gives also another way of scamming newbie investors.
  • Bitcoin also gave hackers an idea of how they can scam other people.

Well, Bitcoin helped me many times, and all in positive ways, but let's also think that Bitcoin is only a tool thus, scammers can use it to scam people. I believe that Bitcoin has allowed us to earn money in different ways. I believe that some people are like me that the reason why they are investing now is because of Bitcoin. I just hope that OP will read all of our posts here in his created thread because TBH, many threads like this's been created in the past.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As a trader never settle for less on: February 06, 2024, 01:19:04 AM
In life I have watched many rich people who want to make more and more money why is this so??
~
It's because there's this thing called "contentment" where people aren't contented with what they have currently thus, they want to have more. This isn't only applicable in money, but in real life as well. On the other hand, having that kind of mindset is helpful for them in different ways as well.

I mean they're rich people so I believe they know how to make more money using their own money. Why settle for less if you believe that you can do more right? Rich people are becoming richer because they know what they can do to grow their money. I said that they aren't contented, but I also believe that they have this thing called "confidence". Confidence that they can make more money. They're confident that they can get more money.

Settling for less means not maximizing the opportunities in front of you. Settling for less means you aren't growing. Whether you're a trader or a holder, you should not settle for less if you believe that you can make more money. Well, at least balance it and learn to say "stop" when needed. Smiley

Quote
Re: Who is buying like me
Me since 2022, and never sold any Bitcoin.
Though I only bought small amounts, I guess that would be better than nothing, right?

As per my prediction, we will not see much difference in terms of price movement on Bitcoin, but I expect that it will at least go near or even surpass its previous ATH of ~$69,000. Maybe impossible, but we are just around $20,000+ from that price, and we know how volatile Bitcoin can be especially during the bull run.

Nevertheless, I always have this strategy of continuous buying after the bull run and selling during the bull run. That's the true meaning of "Buy Low, Sell High. It takes time, but obviously safer. As for those newbies out there who are thinking if they should buy or not, think for the long-term. If you believe that Bitcoin will reach 6 digits by next year then by all means, buy whatever the price is. Don't panic when you see your portfolio go down. Just relax, and always think of the long-term.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 05, 2024, 11:01:52 PM
According this website _ https://hoopshype.com/player/tony-snell/salary/

His total earnings in basketball is $53,175,288 ($64,432,174*).. if he was able to handle his finances well, he should not struggle after his NBA life.
That's a lot yes but I think that most of them are going to taxes, commissions of their agents, etc. And it's possible that he has saved a bit but then don't have managed to be financially well.

It's a common issue for many NBA players and athletes.

Then I guess he has to adjust his lifestyle as he is not making this huge money anymore. Let's say he has to pay for the expsenses you've mentioned, say 50% was for that, then maybe he was able to keep $30m in his career in the NBA, that's still a lot of money if he was able to manage it right.

NBA is truly purely business, if you don't play your cards well, you'll end up not getting a team.
So back up plan is always necessary, like having a livelihood after basketball, easiest is to start a business since he was able to raise a capaital.
I don't know about his figures but that's for sure that he's still bagged a lot of money during his entire career run. But if it's with spending habits that are too bad for him, there's no help with that.

Most of them will realize that they did the wrong thing when they're on their peak of their careers. But then, after all of those bad spending habits or when he's a giver to all of his relatives, he gets back nothing.

Poor guy, but I hope that there's a redirection and will still have some opportunities that will come for him.
Based on what I'm seeing online, it seems like he's playing in the G-league currently (under Maine Celtics).

Also, if the only thing that matters to him is that retiree benefits plan, he can still get signed next season. 10-day contracts aren't that heavy for teams, especially for those who need players right now. If not only for the CBA, Snell would've played in the NBA now. He can still have other options just in case the NBA doesn't want to sign him, but it's a good sign that he's starting his career again at the G-league despite him having autism.

I also saw that the Bucks must sign him, and waive Thanasis which is very funny, but kind of true. Just so you know, Tony Snell has a career where he just went "cardio" for 20+ minutes. No statsat all, and the only thing he did was run on the court. Cheesy. Thanasis? What is he doing on the league? He isn't even playing, and the team don't need him aside from him being a cheerleader for his younger brother. Cheesy
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone Calls My Child's Name Bitcoin. on: February 04, 2024, 06:51:51 AM
Privacy? Nah f*ck it because I've been telling to other people outside of my family that I'm invested into Bitcoin for years, but nothing bad is happening to me. I just hope that it will continue to be that way.

I mean congratulations on being a father, and I hope that you will be ready to teach your kid with regards to Bitcoin because as he grows up, many people will ask as to why he has that kind of nickname. Prepare your son for the future because there will be many people that will ask him anything that's regarding to Bitcoin. There's nothing wrong about your kid being nicknamed like that, and TBH, I don't know what will be the effects of having a nickname like that. I mean it could be beneficial or harmful depending on the environment.

Nevertheless, just prepare your kid, and when the time comes that I will have a kid, I will name him "Craig". Sounds familiar right? Tongue Of course I'm just kidding. As for you OP, give him some Bitcoin as well. Cheesy
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: February 04, 2024, 04:05:08 AM
I want to hear your story in the Airdrop sector:
  • Have you ever participated in Airdrop?
  • What is the most valuable Airdrop you have ever received?
  • How did that airdrop help change your position and journey in the crypto market?
1. No for a long time. This year will be the time where I will participate in airdrops again.

2. The most recent one which is the DYM (Dymension) airdrop. Right now, the price of it at Coinmarketcap is around 4$. That's only an IOU, but base on the past coins that has an IOU, the price of the coin when mainnet launch is near it's price when it's still an IOU so I expect that the price of the token when mainnet launch is at least 4$. I got around 69 tokens on that airdrop which is pretty low compared to other people, but getting it for free just by staking ATOM token, I will not complain on it. It's $276 worth of free money. Who will complain about that? Cheesy

3. None and TBH, I don't usually have that much expectation when it comes to airdrops because some projects let you participate in their testnet phase, but in the end, you will only get a few coins. Some projects let you bridge ETH or whatever coin it is to their own blockchain, but in the end, they will give you tokens that worth less than 10$. My expectations towards airdrop isn't that high, and I don't think that it will ever change my position.

Jupiter's airdrop turned out to be pretty good because aside from the JUP token, those who got the token also got a meme coin called WEN as well. This year, I will try to participate to as much airdrops as possible, and it might cause me some few bucks especially when you need to make a transaction thru bridging, but I want to do it. Cheesy

It's a boring trade this year.
Well let's wait if there's something big that will come out, we still have 4 days if I am right.
Here is the latest and it's not appealing at all.

Rockets trade for Grizzlies’ Adams (Feb. 1)

Rockets receive:

Steven Adams
Grizzlies receive:

Victor Oladipo
Three second-round picks
https://www.nba.com/news/2023-24-nba-trade-tracker
Trading the injured. Cheesy
A win for the Rockets? Maybe.
I don't see Oladipo being the same Oladipo anymore. He was a rising star before the injury but in today's game and how I see it with his performances, I don't think we will see that same speed and agility anymore. Even if the injury is fully healed, the mental effect will linger.
Unlike Adams, he has shown tenacity and I think anyone who wants a big man will consider him.
Everybody is expecting the Lakers to make a move before the trade deadline, but it seems like they don't need... or aren't they? I mean the trade deadline is until Feb. 8, 2024, so who knows? We might see a bunch of trades happening in the final days of the trade deadline. I agree with what you said though. It is a boring trade year. Cheesy

As for Rockets - Grizzlies, I don't see anybody winning on this one because TBH, both of them are injury-prone. Oladipo has been injury-prone ever since, and Adams has been as well. In terms of efficiency, Adams is better than Oladipo, but that doesn't matter if you are injured. Every team wants Steven Adams. He's very humble, and a huge inside defender, but who needs a player that's injured? Looking at the Grizzlies' roster right now, they have the most number of injured players and added Adams to the list as well. It's good that they got Adams back. Now I will wait for next season for the Grizzlies to redeem themselves. I mean they have the capabilities to be at the playoffs. It's just that INJURIES ruined it all, unfortunately.

Other teams are still not shutting down for an option to trade. I think Marcus Smart is available and so is DeJounte Murray.
On who's interested is the bigger problem because it could ruin a whole chemistry, especially those who are already in the top 8.
I think Lakers is interested with Smart to add more back-court defense.
The question is which players will the Lakers give if they are interested in Smart?
For sure, the Grizzlies don't want D'Lo because they have guards already who can fulfill that role. Rui maybe if they are interested. I will not be surprised if Smart will be traded, but many are still waiting on the move of the Lakers this time.
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 03, 2024, 06:47:01 PM
Up or down?  Grin
Whenever I want to see the trend of the market, I only use one indicator, and many Technical Analysts have been using it as well. It's the 21 Weekly Exponential Moving Average.

Based on the picture above, we are seeing that the market is above the Moving Average meaning the trend is still upwards. TBH, it's quite surprising that we will end the month with a green candle knowing what happened after the SEC approved 11 Spot Bitcoin ETFs. Nevertheless, I still believe that the price of Bitcoin will go upwards in the next 2-3 months before the halving event happens. Anybody can happen still, and we might see the price of Bitcoin going down in the next months, but the chances of it to happen are lower than it of going up. The sentiment is rather positive already, and that means a bullish trend.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 03, 2024, 08:01:06 AM
Unfortunately it seems Snell fail to sign in any team in NBA team base on this article Tony Snell didnt get a team on NBA   maybe NBA teams doesn't want to waste their slots and money for charity. They are in total focus to get more helpful players that can give them good result on their campaign this year.

Its really unfortunate to see that happening but I guess that tells that NBA is for pure business and they don't care about anyone need something like that badly. So I guess for Tony he need to work on other way so he can provide his family what they need especially on their medical needs.
The league isn't a charity, but it's a business, and since it's a business, they don't want to waste any money into somebody that they know will not be helpful for the team. Instead of giving it to him, they rather save that money in order for them to sign at least a role player that can be more helpful for the team than him.

I feel sorry for the guy, but that's how the league is. You're not worthy? You will not get a contract. You're not helping the team? You're out. Of course I'll exclude Thanasis with this one even though he's quite useless in the Bucks because he's being backed by Giannis.

If Snell is just thinking of his 2 kids, he can just to go other leagues outside US. I mean we've seen lots of ex-NBA players that went overseas just to play, and to earn as well. He can go that route as well. If NBA don't want him then find another way to earn.

The latest data shows that Google processes over 99,000 searches every single second (Internet Live Stats, 2022). This makes more than 8.5 billion searches a day (Internet Live Stats, 2022).
Yes this statistics was on 2022, and I believe that the amount of searches that have been made on Google in 2023 was higher than 8.5 Billion per day in 2022.

Let's assume that per day, there are more than 10 Billion searches. Just imagine if only 1% of those searches are regarding Bitcoin ETF's. That calculates to 1,000,000 searches per day, and all of the companies wants to expose themselves in one of the most used searched engine in the world thus, they are spending tons of money just to be at the top.

As for Google, I guess they knew already from the start that Spot Bitcoin ETFs will get accepted that's why they allowed Bitcoin ETF ads on their website. Of course money is the reason why they accepted it, but aside from that, it also increases awareness to us Google users that there's thing called Bitcoin ETF. That's 3 out of 11 companies, and I expect that the other 8 companies will do the same as well.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: February 03, 2024, 07:10:18 AM
~
I know many people who enter the market and are very successful, they have huge profits but all they do is invest. They almost forget that they also need to spend and use the profits from the crypto market to make their lives better.

I want to hear from you:
  • Have you ever been profitable and taken profits in the crypto market?
  • How did you use that profit? Do you use that profit or reinvest it?
  • Do you think using profits is also important for your investment journey?

I always believe that re-investing while you can is the best way to become rich especially in crypto market.
Yes there are times that you need to take a portion of your profits to enjoy what you've done, but re-investing a huge portion of it is always my strategy. I'm not a successful investor, but I already got profits which I used to re-invest as well. I consider myself young still (mid 20's), and what I believe is that, the younger you start, the better.

As for spending some of the profits, as an investor, and as a human being, there will always be a time that we need to be happy that's why we take some of our profits, but always take note that you don't need to spend ALL of that profits.

1. I've been profitable I would say, and I already took profits in the crypto market. I already did it many times, and I most of the time buy things that I need. Of course most of my profits are going to redistributed as well.
2. I already answered it. A small portion will be going to the things that I need, and most of that are being reinvested.
3. It depends. If you will use that profit in something that will help you with investing then it can be considered as important. For example, you will use that profit to buy a computer that will help you monitor the markets even better then it's important. What's not important is that, you used that profit to buy something that isn't helpful with your investment journey.

Full topic: Social media is a breeding ground for scamers, be intelligent while you explore the crypto market.
~
The social apps is unsafe to be a place where a newbie can get good knowledge about cryptocurrency. It is good to recommend people to learn from the Bitcoin talk communit or any other Bitcoin educational material that is legit.
When there's people, there are scammers lurking especially online.
Social media in general helped us in different ways. From spreading information, to advertise projects, to increase the adoption of cryptocurrency, etc. On the other hand, it's also the home of the scammers who are constantly looking for victims out there.

Right now, misinformation is at it's peak and at the same time, phishing attack has been very rampant especially on Twitter (X). Having knowledge, and being vigilant are the best things to do in order for us not to get scammed. I don't want to say this, but in my 5+ years of being involved in crypto, I never experienced getting scammed, and it's because I learned everything how scammers are scamming people first, and learned how to avoid it as well.

Overall, social media platforms can be used in either good or bad way, and for us investors who are into social media every day, let's be intelligent enough to avoid getting scammed. How? Learn, learn, and learn.: Smiley
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About PI Network trend. Is this coin worth holding? on: February 03, 2024, 06:18:49 AM
in reality, 1 PI is only equivalent to 30 USD according coinmarketcap.

Why does this happen? Will this coin last considering it is so easy to get?
Is this coin worth holding?
The price of the PI that's on Coinmarketcap is only an IOU, and it isn't the actual price. In fact, the mainnet of that stupid project hasn't been launched still and it has been years since the project started. I've seen this in many social media platforms, and just think of how the people got this stupid token. MOBILE MINING? How's that even possible? Kind of funny TBH, but I guess it's a nature of every human being to jump into something that they know they will get money in an easy way.

Why does this happen? I assume that you are talking about the price of that IOU, and it's because 2 parties agreed that they will pay that coin at X amount. Just look at this article from Binance, and you will learn more from it: https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/iou

Is this coin worth holding? I've been said it many times, and for sure many also said it as well. This is a scam coin, this isn't a good coin to hold, and they are just letting their supporters wait for the mainnet to be launch but in reality, it will not happen, and it will never happen. Cheesy
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Psychology of Investing in Bitcoin on: February 02, 2024, 06:34:53 AM
Ever felt that rush when Bitcoin hits a new high? Or the sinking feeling when it takes a nosedive?
Rush? Sinking feeling? What's that feeling? I don't feel that anymore.
Kidding aside, it already came to a point where I don't care about the price of Bitcoin.
- I saw Bitcoin plunged from $8,000 down to $4,000 in 2020 when we went into a pandemic, but I didn't felt anything aside from disappointment that I didn't have spare money at that time.
- I also saw Bitcoin went up from around 4-digit price back in August of 2017 to near $20,000 of the same year, but I didn't felt anything because I'm a newbie.
- I also saw Bitcoin went down in years 2018, and 2022, but I didn't felt anything, and instead, I grabbed the opportunity to buy more of it.
- I also saw Bitcoin's price going up to as high as ~$69,000 a few years ago, but I didn't felt anything but disappointment as well because I didn't sold all of my assets back then.

I'm already emotionless when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency. What matters to me now is my selling price targets, and my strategies. Smiley

Let's talk about the rollercoaster ride that is Bitcoin investing. Are we in it for the tech, the profits, or just the thrill?
I'm in for profits mainly, but I'll support the technology as well.

I will not tackle to what the OP is advertising to us because we might still see some blockchain games being created still, but I'm not interested on them anymore.

Quote
Re: Is it valid to invest in a gaming projects?
It's not us that decide your investment. It's you that will decide on it.

Asking to us whether it's valid to invest in gaming project is like you are relying your money to some strangers like us, and it isn't a good strategy. Always, always ask yourself whether it's still valid to invest on that type of project or not. Gaming projects isn't the hype anymore, but there are still a few games that are being created, and one of them is the XAI (though I didn't look at it).

Most of the gaming projects aren't that entertaining, and that's a fact. Most of the blockchain games are focusing on the aspect of earning money, and not on the aspect of it being fun to play. After Axie Infinity, I don't think if I will ever touch any blockchain games still, but as a gamer, if I will pick some games then I'll go on what I love to play which is MMORPG games. Smiley
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do low fees matter most in choosing crypto platforms, or other factors? on: February 02, 2024, 04:34:19 AM
When choosing a cryptocurrency platform, do you prioritize seeking out those with lower transaction fees, or do other factors such as security, user interface, or available features take precedence in your decision-making? Share your perspective below and let's discuss the key considerations within our community!

Transaction fees matter. Just look at Ethereum. A few years ago, the transaction fee of that coin is just way high for us average investors to afford, and because of that, there are many projects under Ethereum that are made, and their priority at that time is to have lower transaction fees. Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum are just some of them.

Of course there are other factors that are important as well, but if you will use that platform, and will make some transactions on it then consider or maybe prioritize the transaction fees on it. Nobody wants to use a platform that can cause you $5-$6 every transaction right?

What's good now is that, there are many tokens out there who has a low to very low transaction fees already, and as for Ethereum, well the fees are 10x higher than that of other smart contract platforms out there but surprisingly, there are many who are still using it for various reasons.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: February 02, 2024, 04:09:41 AM
As title says, for example Solana dropped 10x, will it easily 10x again during next bull cycle in late 2025?
Who told you that the next bull run will be in 2025? I believe that it will happen next year as well, but I never confirmed that it will happen on that year. Expect for the best, but always be ready for the worst. Tongue

To answer your question, it's possible, but there's a chance that it will not. I mean I've seen coins that went up in 2017 that never surpassed their past ATH during the bull run of 2021, and one of them is EOS, and I'm pretty sure there are many out there. There's a chance that it can go 10x after it went down 10x, but there's also a chance that it might go down 10x, but it will either not go up 10x or it might even higher than 10x. It all depends.
