522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: December 08, 2023, 01:00:48 PM
^  I think it's prolly more like they were finalizing the airdrop list and prolly removing the botters.  The snapshot could've already happened a couple months ago too then when they were confident enough with their list, they made the announcement and confirmed that it's coming.  So it's prolly useless to farm now.

Damn...  I'm feeling less and less confident in my eligibility now.  I haven't really used any LZ protocol for months.  And the one that I mostly did use is just Stargate.  :/

Oh and my WEB bag is pumping!  A guy had access to Grok and asked it about Web.  There's really a project from x.ai called Web and it's going to compete against Google.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: December 08, 2023, 12:47:22 PM
These are the results of the Premier League games that took place this evening Thursday 7th December:

Everton 3-0 Newcastle United
Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 West Ham United

Everton scored three second half goals, all late goals but they beat Newcastle United. I think Everton will not be relegated even if they have that 10 point deduction. As for Tottenham, they played well against Manchester City but lost the 1-0 lead to lose the game 1-2. Well done to West Ham United for taking the game to their opponents.

Oof...  Newcastle prolly has one of the worst away records in the EPL this season.  :/  I think I'll get a little Tottenham draw no bet even if the line doesn't really look that good.  Will parlay it with a couple of UFC matches.  Grin

It could be a good bounce back spot for the Spurs which aren't really looking that good at home as of late too.  But then again they were against squads with somewhat better away records.

As for the other matches I already mentioned them in a post prior to this one.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 08, 2023, 12:40:50 PM

I wouldn't mind seeing that happen too.  But dunno, I kinda feel like we need to see the old guard fight against the new top guys and make a name for themselves...  And winning against either Gaethje or Poirier would def do it for Tsarukyan.  He's relatively unknown at this point.

Anyway, one of the guys that I'm more confident with withdrew from the event, Allan Nascimiento.  No reason given in Tapology.  Tim Elliott is the replacement fighter.  Hmmm...  If Elliott has 15 minutes of cardio, he'll win.  If not, it could happen like how he lost vs Royval.

For sure I want to see Arman Tsarukyan fight those top opponents Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, and even Charles Oliveira 1st because getting his fangs against Islam Makhachev could be a long road for him getting into the title fight but will solidify his percentage in winning and getting the belt for sure, actually, I like Arman Tsarukyan and if Islam Makhachev fights Arman Tsarukyan early I really don't know who am I going to pick between the two, while for sure I might go with the champion for sure,

While the replacement for Allan Nascimiento is Tim Elliott which I really don't like aswell it was depressing to see that he withdrew in this fight which the odds were for him, and withdrawing without any reason, was pretty much what I expected, but let's just wait,

Yup, as pitting Tsarukyan vs Makhachev next would be anti climactic imho.  We already know Makhachev is gonna win it.  As for going against somebody like Gaethje, it's going to be another old guard vs the prospect scenario.  Kinda like when Fiziev was pitted vs Gaethje.  Lots of guys like me thought Fiziev was going to win.  Lol.  But no...  Gaethje still has more in the tank.

Anyway, live weigh ins are gonna be in around 3.5 hours.

525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: December 07, 2023, 01:19:22 PM
I think by now we could see that ARB could be one of those laggards and overcroweded trades in the market.  I mean look at it.  I was expecting it to make a move like TIA or TAO since to has one of the highest TVL's and among the highest in stablecoin MC among L2's...  It's really disappointing tbh.  I still completed all the NFT's in their revived Odyssey campaign tho.  Could be another chance to get some airdrops once more tokens get unlocked next year.

And another thing guys, look up Monad.  Looks like it's gonna be one of the best new L1's next alt szn.  Wink Wink Wink
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 07, 2023, 01:00:37 PM
I'd bet the lack of increase in the interest rates has played a role in this rise though. The bonds market, even though profitable, is losing its bling and FED is not about to rise the rates until July which would make it 11 months of stability (last rise was in August) so we may see a continued rise all through the first quarter of 2024 at least.

Now if energy prices start soaring again (due to OPEC newest supply cut that will start next year in first quarter of 2024) we could see increased inflation and if they keep the interest rates at this level as promised, we could see an even bigger rise for bitcoin in the same period.

P.S. having a halving! is going to be a big contribution to that rise too.

Yup, that's what I've been saying...  The guys following what's going on in the market whether crypto or old school markets prolly have gotten tired of hearing all the shenanigans going on in the world, expecting everything to go down but then missing out on the solid trend up.  The continuation of the trend higher is prolly caused by people who were sidelined because they thought the run up would be short lived...  But only to see it go above 30k then 40k and now possibly go above 50k.

They can't take it anymore, they can't wait for it to go down so they all went in taking the market higher.  Lolol.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: December 07, 2023, 12:47:46 PM
Well, also do keep in mind Chelsea and Brighton have some recent history which did not go down well with both sets of fans.

Graham Potter resigned as manager of Brighton and took over to manage at Chelsea but failed. Chelsea first signed Brighton goalkeeper Sanchez for £25 million and then after Brighton played a delaying game sold midfielder Caicedo to Chelsea for a British record fee of £100 million (but could see it rise to £115 million based on appearances).

Brighton fans took great pleasure watching Chelsea and Potter fall from previous high heights therefore with an injury list that long, Chelsea will go to dismantle Brighton and take all three points.

So it looks like March, Enciso, Welbeck, Dunk and Estupinan will be out.  There are also a couple of players who could be doubtful to play like Mitoma...  :/  And they'll be playing at the Europa League and have a day's rest.  Yeah...  Pass.

Chelsea won but it didn't look good for them that an injury laden squad in Brighton was able to put a couple of goals in.  :/  So it would be interesting how they fare against Man United at Old Trafford.  I'm thinking the guys in red win this one.  But dunno..  I guess BTTS and over 2.5 combo would make a good bet if it was lined over 2.00.

Another interesting match is Aston Villa vs Man City.  With Man City starting to falter a bit, I think gambling on Aston Villa wouldn't be that bad.

Edit:  Checked the betting market.  BTTS and over 2.5 combo is at 1.85.  Aston Villa draw no bet is at 3.05 and double chance is at 2.05.  Not much value imho.

^  Not that I wanna brag or anything, but yeah, it''s prolly low key bragging.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  But the think tho is I'm kicking myself for getting lucky enough to get a couple of good reads and not dropping any action on them because 'there isn't much value'.  The old me wouldn't have cared and just bet anyway.  Lol.  It isn't like I'm betting thousands of USD per match that it would matter.  :/

Maybe it's because I'm losing so much in these matches that I start to overthink and tend to not pull the trigger anymore.

Anyway another round of interesting matches this weekend.  Good bounce back for Man City vs Luton...  I think it'll be goals galore.  TT for City over 2.5 at even money or more will be very good imho.  Everton vs Chelsea will be LOL for Chelsea.  They suck away but then again Everton sucks at home too, so we'll see.

Fulham vs West Ham could be a good match.  And def Aston Villa vs Arsenal and Spurs vs Newcastle will be good.  Overall a good weekend for EPL fans.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 07, 2023, 12:31:22 PM
^  It's better for Tsarukyan to keep moving up imho.  Didn't he say that he wanted Gaethje?  That's the fight to make.  I hope Gaethje obliges.

I haven't seen his post fight interview but my news feed is saying that Tsarukyan wants to fight for the title next. Sport-wise, it would make more sense than Islam Vs Charles, as Tsarukyan did quite good in his first fight with Islam (lost by decision) and he improved since then.
I don't really want to see Gamrot Vs Tsarukyan, but I think it might happen as neither Gaethje/Poirier/Oliveira or Chandler would want to fight either of them. But if Oliveira is to get that title shot next, then what I'd like to see is Gamrot Vs Gaethje and Tsarykyan Vs Poirier (Gamrot and Poirier are in the same team so probably not keen on fighting each other).

I wouldn't mind seeing that happen too.  But dunno, I kinda feel like we need to see the old guard fight against the new top guys and make a name for themselves...  And winning against either Gaethje or Poirier would def do it for Tsarukyan.  He's relatively unknown at this point.

^  Yeah...  I was putting too much stock on the low market cap and was chasing that 1000x for bragging rights.  Lolol.  I should've just followed where all the volume was going and it's in GROK and the next pump will be in GROK.

So I guess since the PEPE ''devs' fumbled the ball, the next huge memes will be $BITCOIN and GROK.  Elon Meta is not one to be ignored.

And I think if Layer Zero isn't airdropping by the end of the year, they're prolly doing it around April - May.  Perfect timing for the halving pump.

Bummer for me to get first 2 picks right, and then zeroing every other match. Just put my picks in sticking with some good old favourites (Hwang and Saka, Watkins vs City) Solanke like tokeweed but am wondering if it's time for another Haaland blank? Pretty dumb not to pick him I guess but Villa got my eye and Watkins is really, really flowing. Not passing up on him!

20/100 and 24 games to go. Even if I get 3 per game it won't be enough.

Hard to fade Haaland not to score at every match day.  He's like my staple when I make these picks.  I won't get clever picking somebody else like I did those couple of times with Doku when the clear pick will always be Haaland.

Anyway, the match between Luton and Arsenal went 3 - 4 and not one goal for Saka this match.  :/  Lol.  Got Hwang right tho.  Let's see what's in store for us with the rest of the matches.

And I can't believe it's almost Boxing Day.  I wonder which managers are getting the sack by then.

Got my picks early for this event...  For some reason I'm kinda more confident with this event that the last one.  Dunno.  Lol.  But like the Majestic 7, that could be a bad sign.  Lol.  Prolly gonna get a worse result with this one.  Cheesy

Who among you guys is leaning on Anthony Smith?  He's fighting Rountree he I think is a mf beast.  Search for his side kick to the knee vs Bukaukas.  Ooof...  Nasty!

UFC Free Fight:  Rountree vs Roberson

Anthony "The Lionheart" Smith for sure will not back out of this fight but Khalil Rountree Jr. is a pure striker and I really don't know if he can adjust to having good defense on wrestling as Anthony Smith is a pretty good grappler, but I am also doubting his offensive takedown as for Khalil Rountree Jr. for sure he has good takedown defense and for some reason this could be a problem for Anthony Smith but will look even further if Khalil Rountree Jr. really has a good takedown defense

Judging from optics alone, it looks like Rountree is hard to take down...  The guy is kinda short but he is think and those legs are like tree trunks.  Lolol.  But according to UFC Stats he has 56% TD defense and if you remove strikers from the list, that's prolly lower.

But Smith has low TD accuracy.  Just around 28%.

You can check out the stats here.

Any update on Layer Zero's airdrop?  My wallet needs replenishing.  Lolol.  I made a couple of dumb moves making two stupid 'investments' in these memecoins called MSTR and WEB.  Whatever you guys do, stay away from these memecoins that create a narrative based on a bigger memecoin.  Like for MSTR, it's trying to appeal to the memecoin $BITCOIN aka Saylor meta.  While WEB is trying to appeal to GROK aka Elon meta.  But the market seems to be not buying into it and it's staying with the leaders.  :/  Now I'm waiting for these two little sh*ts to pump so I could get out at break even...  If I'm lucky.  Cheesy Cheesy
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: December 05, 2023, 01:36:38 PM
Just dropping by the thread to post and make it written and recorded that Bittensor aka TAO could prolly be one of the biggest winners of the next bull run.

Bittensor is an L1 with some AI stuff baked in.  I haven't really done all my due diligence on it but I guess if the next bull run is gonna be huge with AI then this is prolly one that could make multiples with your investment.

https://bittensor.com/

Anyway just to get it out there, I'm not holding any TAO tokens, I just think this project could be one of the better, more serious ones.

My picks for the next set of fixtures for match day 15.

Hwang
Saka
Ferguson
Pereira
Solanke
Rashford
Haaland

I just did a quick pick on each and I didn't really look much into it.  Just if the player is injured or not and how much likely is he gonna be in the first 11.  Let's see how it goes.  If this set of picks do better than my last ones then I'm clearly overthinking things.  :/

Could be my lucky day tho.  Wink

So BTC looks like it's really starting to pick up steam and at this rate, it could reach 45k - 46k resistance in a week or so...  Here's what I'm looking at.  I know it wouldn't be the same as what some of you guys are looking at but I think it'll be somewhat similar.

BTC hasn't gone above the red bar since March last year.  Going over that and staying above it would be a big boost for the market.  But that goes without saying.  Lol.

^  Lmao yup.  I didn't watch any of the fixtures but when I checked all the scores, the Burnley one was what I first noticed and was like 'wtf'.  I guess Kompany will turn the club around and make it a good relegation scrap...  Is he still the manager?  I really have no idea what's going on with the smaller clubs anymore.

And damn, no Haaland?  No Sterling?  Cheesy

Anyway, midweek fixtures this time around folks.  Don't forget your picks!
