5281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: September 15, 2017, 07:39:08 PM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
If we do talk about Long term then Bitcoin would be the best choice and now is the best time to buy more cheap coins because later on prices would soar up high because after a dip because of this news there would really be a time on which price would recover up again and reaching new ATH on this year.I do have those feeling that we would achieve that price this is why bitcoin would be the best for long term investment.
5282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum wallet- scam alert. on: September 15, 2017, 06:15:29 PM
There is so many phising site and Already many users who use this wallet get scammed. Keep an eye on the wallet domain you visit just check the site several times because the site like this almost have same name, also bookmark, if you want to save your money safe.
I dont know why do people fall on this kind of stuff when i do check the link you can really easily identify that it is a phishing site. The main reason why people do lose or being scammed because of their ignorance and on being greedy.Hackers do always bait up on having a free money on which most newbies or those people who are dumb enough to get blinded on this kind of motives.
5283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: September 15, 2017, 12:25:53 PM
Yeah its really doesn't take more time 1 to 3 hours just enough for me reading infomation for trading btc. For me I don't have any problem with this time management even though we each have responsibilities in our lives. Easy to open website where ever you go by using you phone.
Yes, taking out couple of hours daily is not a big deal actually. You only need to manage your time in the best possible way. You can only be a successful person in your life of you actually know and value the importance of time. Time is everything. It is up to you that how you take advantage of your time.

Working on campaign does not take too much of my time because i still have a day job. It is depending on the way how you are earning bitcoins. If you are a trader then with a huge amount of capital then probably you need to check the market every hour to gain small profits but if your just working on a campaign then it does not take too much time.

Trading takes a lot of my time, and I have a signature campaign to fulfill as well, and a business to manage. So its really up to the person on how you should manage your time. The good thing is that my business, a have a lot of time to be in front of m PC so its not a problem in my end. So I'm hitting two birds with one stone. But for most of us, you need to prioritize things so that you can manage your time easily without putting too much pressure on yourself, because we also have other responsibilities outside of our bitcoin activity.
Its good that you can able to manage your time well it does really depend on how people would manage his own time effectively and resourcefully. The more you can handle then success will surely comes after it depends on how you do use it and you are right there are still priorities outside on bitcoin world that we should take care and to put on some time on it.
5284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: September 14, 2017, 08:34:04 AM
I Suggest To stay on both side,
It is Good to Have a job while Earning on bitcoin too.
Maybe Some bitcoiners have already quit On there Job Because They Have The Knowledge And Money To Invest And Get Rich.

Even though you will have the knowledge and money to invest then still don't quit your job because it will not a good idea for a person to leave his job and just work in bitcoin because what if bitcoin will go down and a lot of altcoins will dump also then it is already the end of the world for you, so just focus in both so you can have both passive and active income.

Correct. Day job is still day job or full time job. This is something that is certain you will get pay every 1st for example and that is something that you earn for previous month and you know how much you will get, on other side there is bitcoin or any other crypto, where you are getting some amount of it small or big, and then you can do what you want. Will that be to buy something or to investi in something else that is entirely up the person. So you can have additional income from this sometimes its small if you are aiming for ICO, but there were cases when people get more from ICO then from bitcoin, or you will get small amount of bitcoin.
This is really people preference on which way he would go but there are some people do tend to leave their work and decide to go full time with bitcoin because they saw that they are not earning too much on their day stable job.It might be good for them but they should accept the risk on doing such thing.Bitcoin isnt guarantee that would last for long and anytime we would really be in trouble if it would disappear.
5285  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 13, 2017, 02:02:16 PM
maybe governments can stop bitcoin but they can not stop people from using bitcoin and people will find another way to keep using bitcoin. governments is only keep watching and research about bitcoin while their searching the opportunity to getting involve in bitcoin because I think they have unlimited resource and asset. but crypto currency especially bitcoin itself can not be stop by any one and it will growth in the future.
There is a possibilities that this would happen. But I'm not agree in this situation that government will stop bitcoin as these days many users are currently involved in bitcoin. And we are aware that some countries bitcoin is already accepted and legal. However, I'm positive that bitcoin would be legal in the future and will exists longer.

to be able to realize bitcoin legalization would require support from various parties involved in bitcoin, and I think we can participate here to advance and popularization bitcoin through social media or socialization to the surrounding environment about bitcoin.
Legalizations on the way that it would be accepted on a certain country by means of new payment system just like what we saw on Japan but thinking off that legalizing it on which into a point on making it centralized would really be an impossible thing and on the recent actions of government regarding on ICO and even on bitcoin it does really give some effects but coming to a point on completely stopping it would really be a hard thing.
5286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Baptism of fire??? on: September 13, 2017, 01:38:19 PM
I am new to cryptocurrency and it's been a very interesting 3 months.

The Segwit2X, BTC fork and the thrill of up or down with BTC price was the first.  Then it was all "sunny" for a month or so and I even I enjoyed a 250% gain for a while.  Then the Chinese ICO debacle came and still here.  Today, I am barely even LOL

I know many "hardened" folks will say it is nothing compared to the dips they went through.  True this may be nothing but a scratch but I've learned several things in the process.  To which I am thankful since I only have a few BTC in for now.

These "challenges" are (honestly) bitter-sweet.  Looking at a low balance is a downer but at the same time I see these "dips" as opportunities and I do take advantage of them.

Anyway, crypto sure added spice in my life. Cheesy
First of All. Welcome into this Cryptoworld and you did really experience on how the market goes this is why when you do see some gains on the investment you do made its really wise to cash it out and buyback later on when prices do dip.You would do such thing if you are an active trader but if you are a long term holder then you wont really bother on this things.Market is unpredictable, you might gain 1000x in a day and breakeven on the other day.
5287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin falling again on: September 13, 2017, 01:12:34 PM
OMG, Bitcoin falling again, current price = 3866USD.
What happen? we losing money every hours. Need exchange BTC to fiat?
Who can explain this situation?

Yes,its on 3896 as of this writing on the price of bitcoin which it did happen back in the past in where it did dip to this range and suddenly goes back on 4500-4600.I dont know if it would happen again or there would be more lower prices as of now. When i do check on the chart and made some technical analysis it is on downtrend which i can really assume that we would able to witness even more lower prices but theres no really need to panic.
5288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Feeling good about the dip / down on: September 13, 2017, 09:36:53 AM
dunno about you but i dont like losing money..
If you dont like on losing money or going down investments then bitcoin isnt really for you because we all know here that prices do really dips and price corrections do really happen. If its parabolic as being said recovery might really be seen soon and would takes time to recover but instead of worrying better to see this as an golden opportunity to buy more cheaper coins and be ready on the new ATH later on.Patience is a must on this kind of investment.
5289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why TBC keeps increasing than BTC on: September 13, 2017, 09:13:33 AM
Why does TBC price keeps increasing everyday more than BTC which is acceptable, exchangeable and tradeable.? Today 1TBC is over 68BTC, why?
Stay away from that coin its just a ponzi scheme coin which do fool up newbies on its increasing price.Where on the hell you would able to see a coin in the market which doesnt have price depreciations? Theres no such thing and this coin has no exchanger which means those value of that coins are useless and no dumb people would decide to purchase that one.As far as i remember it as only dollar cents price per coin wayback before.
5290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looks like he is right - BTC price on: September 13, 2017, 08:50:36 AM
If you draw the lines from a little sooner, they'll point up instead of down...

But maybe he is right. And it is fine. I feel that there are lots of people waiting for a correction to come into bitcoin (which would make it rebound up). It'll be higher again probably
It will go back in its Ath and have a new price afterwards, I don't thinks he's right i am not an expert trader but he only puts a downtrend line is it a serious ? I can put also an upward line on it or elese you wanted to join the Fudders campaign. Goodluck.

I was following him for a month. I think he knows how to make a good chart
He does really know on how to make use of technical analysis which i do really see that those trend lines do really matches on the things that is happening as of now we did see theres a strong resistance on 5k usd price which it reverse its price and now heading to the bottom but i was amazed that technical analysis on crypto movements is already effective and can really get some basis.
5291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the ICO is scam on: September 13, 2017, 03:49:39 AM
i think team is the most important factor. if the team is not giving public information for no reason, the ICO may be scam although there are some exceptions. also, it's good to check if the whitepaper has plagiarism and such.
This is one of the most important thing on me which i do always seek when i do plan to invest on an ICO which i do seek for its developer/owners transparency into their project because i would research if those devs are experienced already on this cryptoworld because seeing on recent devs on some project some of them are just still kids which do really lacks on knowledge that is why most of them do fail.
5292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: September 12, 2017, 05:47:47 PM
That depends. If you trade with small sums that will not endanger your financial stability then trading is like fun game. But if you trade big money then it's a serious job that probably reoresents the serious source if income. But no matter what kind of trader you are, big or small, you should always have fun with that otherwise it's time to quit.
Trading can be fun or a game for most of the people because it actually is a better form of using hit and trial techniques to get better profits and success. It is fun for those who have previous knowledge and experience in trading but a game for those who have little intellect of trading.
I think you were right there that it's just a game for those who are new to trading and doesn't even have any idea how to handle things but i think it could be fun if they started to learn the process. The fun will begin if they started to learn the way of the game and it's quite interesting in the long run. Short term or long term traders it is still fun though.  Smiley
Just like game that they want to enjoy maybe some of the trader that make it as a fun and game because they dont want to take more seriously. On my opinion the more you are take it serious if there has a little movement they make some panic so if they take it more enjoyable as this just playing a game i think they dont make some panic of it.
If you do enjoy on what you are doing you can able to think wisely and if you are cool you can able to make good decisions since you can able to think properly unlike on taking it seriously where comes to a point that you are already making yourself a perfectionist then for sure you will not enjoy trading afterall. We should really cherish the things that we do make involvement. We do enjoy and at the same time we are earning.
5293  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Pretty sure Coinbase is compramised somehow... on: September 12, 2017, 05:07:54 PM
I signed up for Coinbase and within only several hours, I have received 2 separate phishing emails. What's more is these emails were specifically tailored to resemble being from my email account provider.

How would scammers get my email that I signed up with so quickly? I would say either the https on their site is compromised, their server/db are compromised, or there is an inside job going on.

Note to the n00bs: Don't be a fool, the second you setup an account for anything, always enable 2FA as the very first thing you do. YubiKey or any other physical key is a great option. Remember, if hackers compromise your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account, they can restore the cloud backup of your device to a burner device they have, and thus have access to your 2FA app for the codes. We also have been seeing for months now that hackers are getting away with porting your cell phone # which makes the SMS verification code as 2FA totally worthless.

The moment my BTC purchase funds/clears, I'll be removing my connected bank account and sending it all to an offline wallet where I have physical control over the private key.

Something doesn't feel right in Coinbase land.....
This is actually the risk on storing money on exchanges but talking about Coinbase is compromised as of now.If you do recieved phishing emails then you definitely signed up some website with your email which you did able to recieve those stuffs and if you are a complete newbie then you would end up on losing your money from your wallet once hacker do have an access to it.We should really be careful and set all the possible securities on the wallet which our coins are being stored.Regarding on the decision you do made on storing them on offline wallet its really a wise idea.
5294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you share your secrets and research findings??? on: September 12, 2017, 04:30:00 PM
everyone has secrets from the various studies they do about bitcoin or altcoin. it's hard for a beginner to understand what people are talking about because of limited knowledge.
If you do really tend to teach secrets on other people without have much knowledge on what you are talking then for sure he wont really understand at all unless if you do have the same interest then for sure he can cope up with that secret that you do mention. All people do have secrets in life specially on money making some maybe greedy enough wont tell something because they do like for them the ones to make money and dont minding others success.
5295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I convert my BCH to BTC? on: September 11, 2017, 05:03:56 PM
Yep, I got some BCH from the fork as a lot of hodler out there and I'm not sure what would the best thing to do with it (in term of long term return of investement).

I would like to hear the opinion of a few experienced traders on this before making my mind.

If yes, what would be the best way to do this?

Thanks!
It does depend since its your own BCH after all. If you dont need money then better to hold it off but if you do need more funds to invest on bitcoin or on other altcoin on your portfolio then better to exchange those bch you had.Just like mine i did sold my BCH when it was still on 500 usd price and buy some cheaper coins in the market. Its a good free money came from my bitcoin holding.I dont have too much interest on bitcoin cash though.
5296  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 11, 2017, 04:32:38 PM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
No i guess it isn't just for the knowledgeable and educated people only, i think its for all the people who wants to become more successful and to have an additional income or salary for their daily life. Because bitcoins is open to all people so they could have the same opportunity like other people that already have the knowledge and for those people that are educated. This somehow give them advantage because of their background but this doesn't change what those peoples needs to become successful in life.
You would still need knowledge in able to engage into bitcoin because you would really need to have an idea on what it is and the most important thing is that you do have knowledge on internet itself and how do it works because even on this basic thing if you dont have any idea then you would really have a hard time on engaging with it this is why i do somehow believe on the thing that bitcoin is for those people who are educated or knowledgeable but theres still chances for those people who are interested and do pursue to learn as long they do know on what is bitcoin.
5297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Historical data on 'delisted' or 'failed' alt coins on: September 11, 2017, 03:30:34 PM
This will be hard, most coins on coinmarketcap are there because they are able to determine a trade price for the coin. From my understanding, a coin isn't removed from coinmarketcap until there is no way to determine the current market price for the coin (aka no exchanges are allowing for trading of the coin).

It will be inheritly hard to gather trade data for a coin that has been removed from all exchanges. The only way I could possibly think is to create a forum scraper to dig through all the forum posts here & at the coins forums in order to find all trades made outside of exchanges. Even then, the data will be sporatic & fluctuate greatly, which isn't so good for statistical analysis.

I'm interested to know if some of these dead coins still have a hash rate tbh, it'd be interesting to know.
The same on OP.We do have the same interest too but seems this thing do really requires too much time and effort to crawl all the possible status of those coins who are being delisted or failed. On exchanges alone there are lots already of coins who are being delisted and even accumulating those list on any exchange would really takes effort for you to get that list. How much more on other parts? It would takes time.
5298  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: September 11, 2017, 02:28:26 PM
you can't imagine the world without paper money, it is impossible to ban paper money for ever. do you know how many people are using plastic money and card?
I think this number is very small in comparison to the whole population. and virtual currency also being used by the small number of people. most of the people are feeling comfortable to keep or use paper money still now. regarding paper money, only security is the problem in order to carry out, but for me, still, there is nothing to be a replacement for paper money. so it will last for ever.

I can consider a card being plastic since it is really plastic, but when it comes to money, I wonder what country uses plastic money.

People are using paper money because it is the currency the are used to use, maybe if they knew bitcoin and other digital currencies, they will be interested to use them not because they are pretty efficient but also pretty volatile that can give them good profit in a short time.
People would really prefer always on using paper money because they are being used already since they do gain will on their entire life. Replacing it easily would be hard and might really takes time even how the technology evolves i do strongly believe that we would still stick into this traditional way and im sure government wont really let this thing to happen easily.Future of paper money would really be still the same.
5299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 10, 2017, 07:56:13 PM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

Yes I am willing to accept bitcoin as my salary though I know that bitcoin price is very volatile so there will be times that the value will go down so what I will do is right after I receive that bitcoin payment I will convert half of it and leave half of it to my bitcoin wallet and let the price grow. That for me is a win win situation.
If you can receive your salary from signature campaign every week, the change price of Bitcoin does not make your loss many much, because recently the price of Bitcoin very stable around range price $4,xxx.
You wont really have any loss since you didnt pull out any money from your pocket on earning bitcoin but just purely for your hard work and effort. You wont really got affected too much on volatility since salary would really depend on the rate but its much better on having higher rate because it would make  our salaries high too but on my side i wont really like to recieve my salary on my day stable job.

Depending on what kind of trader you are either for long term or short term because there are different types of trader.Just a friendly tip, dont rush up on thinking on making money on trading because its not easy as it being said by others. Its true that i can give you money but learning it would really be the tough job on here. You wont able to learn it on a single day,it would takes time and regarding on how to learn it.All informations are already on the internet and this is also the place on which you can see other experiences and thoughts about trading.
