541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto prices are going down. on: February 04, 2018, 04:14:29 PM
Every January, crypto money values fall. The price volatility was large. All investors have lost money. I could not believe it when I saw the $ 8,000 price. The negative news of India, South Korea and the Tether incident created a panic atmosphere.

It's the Tether incident that most likely plunged the value IMO. It's probable that holders liquidated their USDTs to get out of the fiasco before Tether decides to hold withdrawals.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King Russia Introduces The "Whoppercoin" on: February 04, 2018, 04:12:06 PM
I have received a reply from Burger King Russia regarding the current status of the WhopperCoin and they mentioned the following points:

1) Currently WhopperCoins are not being issued until completion of the new mobile application.
2) The reason for the new mobile application is to prevent fraudulent usage.
4) All WhopperCoin holders can still use their WhopperCoins at any Burger King branch in Russia.
5) Burger King Russia are legally obligated to accept WhopperCoins for the purchase of a Whopper Burger.

Wow! 1700 WhopperCoins will get you a Whopper Burger and with the current trading price only 2 satoshi, that’s 3400 satoshi for a WhopperCoin - Bargain!

Anyone here can help verify this claim?

Anyway, sounds fun to me. There are a lot of coins/tokens targeting loyalty points and rewards programs though, why'd they develop their own?
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Campaign no more!! on: February 04, 2018, 04:06:51 PM
Facebook introduces a lot of prohibitions and conditions for ordinary users.
And now it is trying to ban the development of new technologies and the exchange of information for the crypto community.

I don't agree since it affects legitimate ICOs out there :/

I hope they just remove the scammy and ponzi ones

The thing is fraud ICOs are using FaceBook to scam innocent consumers and investors. At this point, it's probably hard for FB to filter fraud from legit ICOs that's why they simply banned everyone. Pretty logical IMO.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: February 04, 2018, 03:54:49 PM
IMO Ethereum and Bitcoin are like apples and oranges. They cater to different tastes as ETH and BTCBTCBTC cater to different markets. ETH is more of used for dapps, tokens, and smart contracts as BTCBTCBTC is for remittances, value transfers, and banking the unbanked.

Although yes, BTCBTCBTC is first gen, it's bound to be replaced someday.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason behind the past two days fall in all crypto currency value ? on: February 04, 2018, 03:43:56 PM
In my opinion, the latest bad news is too much.
The south Korean government has adopted a real-name system for encrypting money markets, further regulation of China, and facebook's ban on ICO advertising. The bad news has caused everyone to lose confidence and the whole market turns red.

Folks are becoming too aggressive vs cryptocurrency and ICOs. Can't blame them though, ICO scams have been pretty rampant lately. It's not a good sight.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins To Invest. on: February 04, 2018, 01:19:36 PM
I'd suggest you invest in fee sharing coins like COSS or KCS, getting dividends is a good incentive to hold.

Also checkout CrowdGenie, lending thru smart contracts is gonna be big.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy? on: February 04, 2018, 01:11:36 PM
I think cryptos have just bottomed out for now. Probably is time to buy.Everyone seems to be shit scared.  Opinions?

wait for it to dip more. With the current form of the market, it's not impossible for bitcoin to reach 7k$ imo.

Well from a high of $16 to $17k? People definitely would be scared. This is where weak hands are filtered out.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO's for February? on: February 04, 2018, 03:14:30 AM
You should Checkout CrowdGenie, it's a p2p lending platform based on Singapore that's applying blockchain tech to the small business lending industry. It's one of the best real-world application of the blockchain, so yeah, it's exciting.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: February 04, 2018, 01:23:25 AM
It's a good time to catch up and stock in your favorite tokens and coins. It's always a cycle of ups and downs when it comes to markets, so just take advantage and be clear with your positions.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: February 04, 2018, 01:04:19 AM
Resistance is building up but I kinda don't think it's over just yet. The previous bull run was so meteoric it's gonna take at least a few more big corrections before it can rise again.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [ANN][25% AIRDROP upto 31/Jan] Genie-ICO 🌟🚀 Asset Exchange|5% REFERRAL PAYOUT on: January 28, 2018, 08:44:15 AM
Oh wow I didn't know there is also a 255 airdrop if we buy CGCOINS! That's a pretty amazing package. I am trying to gather the one eth for the minimum purchase at least and I made  comprehensive overview video as well. My Hubby made 2 yesterday so I made one also as I noticed this has been a hidden GEM and not much noticed by Youtubers yet. I have had great success in buying tokens from Singapore based businesses, so am most probably gonna get into this before the end of the Pre ICO. BTW I would love you guys to get in touch with COSS.IO EXCHANGE. They are also based in Singapore and maybe you can go and meet RUNE EVENSEN OF COSS Face to face as well. Would love to see CROWDGENIE ON COSS! Maybe along with a trade promo there as well. I trade all day on COSS.  Grin

Here is my video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXh5uEhsVMk  Smiley

I second the motion here. COSS would be a nice partner-exchange for you guys too. It has smaller volumes compared to other exchanges but it's a good place to start too.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USD Thethers just unraveled here's the Crypto Meltdown on: January 28, 2018, 07:14:07 AM
People are going to be like "FUUUUUUUUUD" but we need to be real for a second. This is happening and it is going to hurt. I will be launching a video on youtube talking about it tomorrow.

The irony here is this is exactly one of the reasons why BTCBTCBTC and cryptocurrencies were created for, to avoid scenarios like these. I really do hope Tether did not operate on a fractional reserve to cover for BitFinex's previous fiascos.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have you learned in cryptocurrency trading. on: January 28, 2018, 06:33:58 AM
Timing the market and so you dont missed the right time when to make profit with your holdings.

Over my short stint of trading full time, I'd say this has been the lesson you'd need to hold on. Timing is everything in these markets, that's why it's very difficult to do this full time and make it a profitable, even with bots. The guys who do this full time are simply talented.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Regulation Must Be International on: January 28, 2018, 12:06:23 AM
Seems like mixing oil and water. Lawmakers worldwide are investigating possible ways to regulate bitcoin. The problem is government officials do not understand cryptocurrency, and it poses many challenges to the way things traditionally work.

Regulating crypto is much like regulating the net. It's not that they do not understand cryptocurrency it's just that it's too difficult to regulate it.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: January 27, 2018, 03:58:10 PM
i quit my day job as an accountant. so far, crypto has been good to me. lately i've been seeing blood everywhere and it gives me a good deal of a heartache since i am just new in trading. any advice you can give guys? should i just go back to being an accountant or pure crypto or maybe both?

Don't quit your dayjob just yet, it's always better to have a steady flow of income before doing trading full time. Expect to lose money initially, you'll need that to learn.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: January 27, 2018, 03:52:52 PM
I use freewallet's wallet apps for most of the coins. All tokens and eth on MEW, a few ones on exchanges. These are the ones that can be traded in a moment's notice.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION on: January 27, 2018, 03:50:10 PM
IMO it's too much to call it a depression, it's basically a correction for the weeks of bull runs. What goes up crashes down eventually, and that applies in all markets including ours.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest $5000 in these altcoins? on: January 27, 2018, 03:39:50 PM
Hold on to ETH, with all these ICOs the demand and price would still spike up.

That aside, I suggest tokens that offer profit sharing dividends from already active platforms, like KuCoinShares or COSS.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: January 27, 2018, 03:30:12 PM
I tried trading full time a few years back, bought a bot and got some capital to start. Honestly, didn't like it. It's nerve wrecking watching the tickers and waiting for your trade to get filled up. After a few weeks I ended up with a loss.

I then sold my bot, took the loss, and moved on. I'd suggest you do the same.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 27, 2018, 02:06:41 PM
With the amount of ICOs popping up here and there it's ETH that's clearly in demand, and will do so for a long while.

I suggest you maintain your strong position on ETH.
