1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stable Bitcoin Price on: July 30, 2016, 04:06:43 PM
According to https://bitcoinwisdom.com/, the bitcoin price is quite stable at the moment, within 5% for the alst week.

Yea and should stay like that for next 2-3 month then might go high not sky highbut some increase of 100-200 in price
i dont think the price is going to be that stable over time, to be honest it should start going up pretty soon because people are adopting and buying bitcoins

Yeah, but we'll need some news or something about bitcoin. The price wouldn't move much just by word of mouth.

The next news to drive up the price is the 2MB block size implementation or the release of SegWit.

Any estimates when this will arrive? I haven't read btc news or that part of the forum for awhile already.
1502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before and After the Halving. on: July 30, 2016, 04:04:27 PM
Before the days of halving users expected steep increase, but nothing happened as predicted. On days after halving the price experienced minor fluctuations and became stable. For this reason now most users expect for gradual increase in price and touch $800 by this year end.pls p

Actually may see movement the other way around. I'm still surprised the there aren't much selling that went through right after the halving.
1503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Banks are researching the usage of private Block Chains, and not Ethereum's on: July 30, 2016, 12:45:29 PM
Are there financial institutions using a private chain for real fintech work? Anyone in the know?

From what I've been reading and in the news, most banks are still in the research or experimenting phase. Some other institutions like NASDAQ are already up.

1504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: July 30, 2016, 12:38:50 PM
anything related with Altcoins it is a good investment and has huge potential profits. but you must be smart in choosing a good coin.

That is if you can find solid ones in their infancy. And in today's digital currency environment, it's pretty much finding a needle in a haystack.
1505  Economy / Services / Re: Website Traffic Service on: July 30, 2016, 10:57:00 AM
Hey, can you give us an idea what kind of traffic this is at the least, is this redirect, expired domain traffic etc etc?

And do you offer referral spoofing?

Thanks,
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-Sport Prediction , share your prediction here on: July 30, 2016, 10:47:09 AM
I'm betting on NextGen on the MPGL dota2 because I know some of the players personally.  Grin Grin

Any predictions with the Elements cup?
1507  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is investing in mining still worth it? on: July 30, 2016, 10:44:40 AM
Speaking from experience, you can profit from them if you know what you're doing. Just consider the legit ones like HashNest.

If you're looking for an invest-and-forget scheme then it just won't work. With cloudmining, believe me you should be able to predict when to sell your GH/s, like when a new miner is out etc. Otherwise you can and you will lose.
1508  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for an eBay alternative selling site or payment conversion to Bitcoin. on: July 30, 2016, 10:41:51 AM
Have you tried Bitify? That place sure needs sellers that aren't mostly involved with digital goods.

You should open up an account there.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 30, 2016, 10:33:58 AM
Nope but some people here accept it when we trade,  Well I can just convert my bitcoins to flat

That's sad. Here one major BTCBTCBTC service practically connects everything you need with regards to finance. Bills, phone credits, bank account deposits, and everything you can possibly purchase online. The one thing that lacks really is a local BTCBTCBTC powered debit card.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 30, 2016, 04:59:36 AM
So I hear the theory going around is that if the Bulls are out of it
come January then the Bulls are going to trade Wade to the Cavs
for him to reunite with bron bron. They only brought on Wade to sell
season tickets because people were pissed they let their stars go.

I'm not much for conspiracy but that makes more sense to begin with
then him leaving the heat for the bad Bulls who gave away their stars.

I don't have much info about Wade's contract, is that even possible? Besides, I don't think Wade would just leave. He went in there because he has Chicago roots.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening? on: July 30, 2016, 04:55:37 AM
Probably because everyone thought it would keep increasing is why it hasn't. Wink

Remember that the last halving didn't do much. It wasn't until new ASIC miners came out that the price really started skyrocketing.

hmm. let me see some dates!
the first block reward halving has happened on 28 Nov 2012 http://blockexplorer.com/b/210000 price is around $12
2x rise happens on feb 2013 (~2-3 months after having)
3x rise on march 2013 (~3-4 months after having)
19x rise on Apr 9 2013 (~4 months after having)

first ASIC system was shipped out to customers on mid Jan 2014 (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/ASIC)--> bitcoin price to the moon but it is after 2 years

am i missing something here?

Your missing the fact that the 2013 rise was completely artificial caused by the willybot.  We arent going to get such an insane jump like that ever again.  And as price goes higher the actual increases will be smaller.  We already got double just prior to the halving,  anymore is a bonus.

You are also missing the fact that events back then are not the same with the events that will happened today. We don't need an aritifical bot today because no doubt there's an added numbers of investors today even at small stats.

Also, you just said it, a bot that caused that pump. The large pump can happen again without it. I have no such basis in my claims as Im not an expert but I will stand to my statement.
the point he made is valid. These rises indicated in the first post cited, have absolutely ZERO to do with the halving. What is the time interval from halving to attribute a rise or drop as 'due to the halving'. A month, two, seven, twelve? Same happened this time. It is all about pumps happening at some random points in time (ok, it is known to the involved players) that are not related to the halving.

actually i still don't think halving didn't play any role in the rise. first of all if you read my last comment here you see that i missed the first ASIC miner coming out in Jan 2013 which means the first line should change to this:

2x rise happens on feb 2013 and first ASIC miner comes out in mid Jan 2013 (~2-3 months after having)

so you still can't say halving didn't have any effect because it takes time to see the effect of halving. you can't expect the day it happens, price goes up. miners don't dump coin as they receive it. they keep it for some time.

IMO that's kinda what we're seeing right now. People have stashes of btc in their hands, unless that stash is reduced or gone, or more people get into the btc space we won't be seeing much of the effects of supply scarcity.
1512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: July 30, 2016, 04:53:15 AM
all is back to normal, cloudhashing, trade sell buy, deposit withdraw back to normal..

nothing to worry.

The thing with these guys is they do badly in terms of communication with their customers. Other than the usual worry of not getting replied at with regards to tickets everything if fairly okay.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 29, 2016, 04:34:15 PM
Adjusting doesn't take too much time. Maybe the first 20 games but it'll never exceed. After that it's either you do or you don't belong.
1514  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: July 29, 2016, 04:32:08 PM
yes it is still time to buy bitcoin. most of the people are expecting that bitcoin will cross the 1000 USD level at the end of this year. and we can see that even after halving the price of bitcoin do nor dropped to such a low level that is some people were expected. so i can say that it is still good time to buy bitcoin.

When investor/traders' interests are in the Ethereum and other altcoins, it is the good time to buy bitcoin.

I believe there won't be such a time. With this volume and volatility traders will never lose interest. The majority may switch from time to time during anticipated pumps but IMO they're always coming back.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin sparks your road to success, what will you do for people who... on: July 29, 2016, 04:29:26 PM
Might be cruel, but i will ignore most people (expect my family) who hate the idea about using bitcoin as currency/investment even though i told them about huge bitcoin potential. Even i can earn money now thanks to bitcoin and they see the result, my family and friends always tell me to sell bitcoin as soon as possible before the price fall.

Well that's just how it is. People aren't receptive to any idea unless they can benefit from it. As for me, life goes on, if he/she doesn't care then I too won't. It's not just for success through efforts being involved in the BTCBTCBTC industry but life in general.
1516  Economy / Digital goods / S> C.A.T. Cryptocurrency AutoTrader Lifetime License 0.25฿ on: July 29, 2016, 10:08:35 AM
Hi,

It's me again. Since the last time I attempted to sell my copy of C.A.T. the buyer didn't push through, I'm selling it again.

Reason for selling: I need money right now, and I now have classes for the most part of the day so I can't always maintain running C.A.T.

C.A.T. has been consistently bringing 0.03-0.05 profits per week for me. Here's a screenshot of it running from a VPS.

This is for the core program, the buyer has to buy the exchange licenses from the developer, Sampey, to trade at paid exchanges (Polo, BittrEX). The buyer also has to pay the API reactivation fees (0.15BTC) if they would want to trade at YoBit and The RockTrading, as I also traded there before.

You are free to trade at the other free exchanges like cryptomic, c-cex, cex.io. They buyer will receive a lifetime license.

For more info, please take a look at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.0

Here's a few questions asked about this product the last time I attempted to sell it.

Quote
So what would the total cost to someone who wanted to trade the same way as you?

I only traded at Trex, I planned to trade at Yobit too that's why I got the license activated but never got to use it. If you plan to trade at Trex, at the reserve price of 0.25BTC it's gonna be 0.40BTC since Trex has 0.15BTC license fees from Sampey. The same if you'd wanna trade at Polo.

If you'd buy a new license that would be 0.5BTC + 0.15BTC = 0.65BTC from Sampey. It's 0.25BTC cheaper.

If you wanna buy my license, I don't recommend trading at Yobit and TheRockTrading as it's gonna cost you 0.15BTC each for the licenses. All free licenses are still FREE (Cryptomic, Cex.io, C-CEX, Vaultoro).

Quote
From what I can see and from all the fees you've restated above, the CAT license + all the fees would add up to Sampeys original cost of 0.5, maybe higher.

It's a lot cheaper if you don't plan on trading on Yobit/TheRockTrading.

Quote
Will i get full support from sampey if i buy your core + license? im thinking to buy C.A.T but i just want to make sure first on the benefits

Yes as I quote from the official thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.msg5590877#msg5590877

Quote
- Refunds are not possibile (C.A.T. is not an hardware). However reselling C.A.T. is allowed, and the buyer will receive the same level of support as if they had bought C.A.T. from me personally.
- If you buy a copy from another C.A.T. user, I'm not responsible for any kind of problems. I will only change the nickname from "olduser" to "newUser" in my C.A.T. Users List.

Basically I would give you the download link to the core program then PM sampey to transfer my name on his user list to yours and remove my APIs. After I confirm the transfer you would also then PM him your APIs for activation of any of the free exchanges except Yobit and TheRockTrading if you wish to use C.A.T. on these.

If you wish to use C.A.T. on paid exchanges (BittrEX, Polo, BTer, BitFINEX, BitStamp), you would pay sampey the corresponding API activation fees on his thread.

So basically you would get here C.A.T. minus the free APIs for Yobit/TheRockTrading as these would cost you 0.15BTC each for activations.

Drop me a PM if you're interested,

Thank you!
1517  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] GSA Search Engine Ranker + SEO Indexer License on: July 29, 2016, 09:52:03 AM
Okay, since I'm again in need of money and I still have my copy with me I'm reviving this thread.

Price for both is still $50 in BTCBTCBTC, someone did offer a $35 but I can't give it that low.

PM me if you're interested.
1518  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need escrow, don't know where to find! on: July 29, 2016, 09:49:47 AM
Here's a very trusted staff here, and I know he does escrow services, not sure if he's still offering this.

If he still is offering then you can give it a try, you're money is in good hands.

1519  Economy / Gambling / Re: Been gambling too much so invested 80% of bankroll into crypto games on: July 29, 2016, 09:29:05 AM
Make this thread into a journal and update us with what happens with that amount over time. That should make it pretty interesting.
1520  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: July 29, 2016, 08:50:41 AM
I would save those 10 bitcoins for 7 more years and sell them then.
Might be worth a little fortune then!
Not bad. We never really know the value of bitcoins in the future so I guess it's kinda worth it to risk the wait of that long. As for me, I'd probably only hold half of them and cash the half just so I can enjoy some bitcoins. I never had that kind of free money opportunity in my life, if I get then definitely I will enjoy that.

Wow that is really long term. What if BTCBTCBTC suddenly had a major problem, then you'd be left with nothing.

As for me I'd rather spend all of that.  Grin Grin Grin
