1521  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be Bitcoin Price After 3 months? on: July 29, 2016, 08:45:20 AM
I hope that the price can at least be somewhere around $800 because I have been waiting some time for that to happen.
I taught that it was going to happen at the last rise but it did not happen.

We were very close to reaching $800 but that last bit was too much for the market to handle. $800-$850 is my prediction for this year, which is a decent price target.
Yeah $800 can be a decent price if it does not meet any drops. And if the stability breaks the price goes even high making the target to be $1000 within 4 to 5 months.

I agree with that prediction. After several months of good consolidation, the price could rise over 50%.

That's pretty optimistic of you guys, even after this lack of movement we're currently having. IMO, the price would somehow decrease over the next few weeks, maybe down to ~$500. We've had a pretty long bull run the past months and a bear market is pretty much to be expected.
1522  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: bitcoin hyip are they a gamble? on: July 29, 2016, 08:22:14 AM
In the end you're just trying to pull more people in. Actually I don't mind because where people put their own money is due to their own diligence. The thing I really hate is how it puts much strain on bitcoin's reputation on the general public.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: July 29, 2016, 07:20:36 AM
It is already is.

There are services that won't make the transaction time a problem, like bitpay and others
they still require a confirmation if the merchant want it,although just heared some people say bitpay's zero confirmation is no longer accepted due too much double spends, but before it was removed,it's very useful indeed

Really? The last time I transacted via BitPay like a week ago the payment was accepted almost instantaneously. It's BitPay's greatest asset for consumers, we need to confirm on that.
1524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I Trust Hashflare.io ? on: July 28, 2016, 04:51:32 PM
I'd recommend you stay with Hashnest. Besides mining, if you're bored you can trade your GHs there.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: July 28, 2016, 04:49:36 PM
48 points from Russell Westbrook and 43 points from Kevin Durant. Total 91 points, that's very impressive!
This is only duo to score 40+ each since Jordan & Pippen in 1996!

I'm very sorry my friend that duo is dead for now. Why? because Kevin Durant is gonna play with the Golden State warriors and only WestBrook will be earning points for the OKC  Angry Angry

Well you can't blame on Kevin's decision for going to Golden State. He may be desperate, but I love to see him win the ring in the upcoming season along with the Splash Brothers. Smiley

Yeah... it was the Splash Brothers who defeated OKC its was 3 to 1 then come back with 3 - 4 GSW is really amazing durant want's to win really bad but he will give GSW a fighting chance into the finals i hope :3
That is so obvious because they are the heavy favorites now in the NBA Futures. The public believe that the warriors will win in the Finals easy and I just hope that would not happen because I will not go with the public as the public lose most of the time.

K.D. didn't even consulted Westbrook or inform him. I mean these guys played together for 8 years. You don't just destroy that kind of chemistry. K.D's really hungry for a ring, and he plans to get it by any means necessary.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price to 600 ? on: July 28, 2016, 04:31:40 PM
Good to see bitcoin stable at the $ 655 range.

It is quite amazing that the bitcoin price now is the same as 1, 7 and 30 days ago, the price difference is less than 2%.

But the thing is in this space you do not generalize. Changes are very abrupt. But yeah, it's nice to see stability, at these prices, for this long. There's weight at this level and it won't probably be bulged by spikes for the time being.
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 28, 2016, 04:25:00 PM
Im living in a country where bitcoin is not illegal but not widely accepted. not all people knows bitcoin because of lack of knowledge about it and some dont have internet connection. no stores yet are accepting bitcoin as payment. however, our local wallet has a feature wherein you can pay your bills and other staff through it so its more convenient somehow.
it is a fortune. Your country is beginning to acknowledge bitcoin. and if bitcoin already acknowledged it will be very easy to find stores that accept bitcoin. I was not as fortunate as you.

Mine too, our central bank says it's not illegal but be very cautious and wary when using or dealing with it. What I like here is there's a service that integrates BTCBTCBTC with seemingly everything you've got to deal with money. Bills, remittances, collecting payments etc. So yeah, it's basically accepted here.
1528  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to buy without stupid "security" "features" ! on: July 27, 2016, 04:04:34 PM
Yeah this sucks. My local exchange and BTCBTCBTC services provider did recently adapt a similar system where they need you to upload an ID and take a selfie with an ID too, then send it to them. I really didn't wanna surrender my privacy, but I don't have a choice because there aren't that many good exchanges here.

If someone knows a SEA exchange that does what the OP wants, let me know too.
1529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 27, 2016, 12:54:23 PM
Relax guys. That's it. Halving has passed. Bitcoin didnt move after it. None of you predictions came true. Just accept it. Long term it will rise, but not this year. Maybe again in 4 years. Move along.

never underestimate bitcoin similar was back in 2013 and then in November price goes sky high i expect the same but hot with that big jump like last time

huge difference compared to how thing were in 2013 is that we don't have another gox exchange artificially pumping the price with money that doesn't exist.

Well it did move a lot prior to July, so somehow I still think that there'll be a huge movement this year waiting to happen. The question now is what direction.

They say history repeats itself, I suppose we'll see it in the last quarter of the year.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 27, 2016, 11:53:42 AM
Will Golden State's super team roll to another 70-plus wins? How will the Spurs fare after Tim Duncan's departure? Summer Forecast rolls on as our expert panel makes its projections for the West.

source: espn.com

Don't really think Golden State can have another 70-plus wins...

no strong C in their team, not looking good unless they are hot hand all the time...

You have a good point mate, maybe the warriors backer are just having a hang over on the previous record and usually when you love a team you tend to be bias most of the time and would not consider other good team that would be a threat also.

Well IMO a strong center isn't actually needed for season games. Today's PFs can deliver the same. The difference is felt when you grind with the same opponent during the playoffs.
1531  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: July 27, 2016, 11:51:02 AM
Well man I used to have a paypal account a few years ago but when I got to know about bitcoin I dumped that account since I don't like their system. I like bitcoin better since it is easier to transact with bitcoin and easy to send, and receive not like paypal that needs identity verification and credit card that is a hassle.

A bitcoin powered Paypal account is the best. Their system is geared towards consumers, so unless you're selling thru PP it isn't a hassle at all.
1532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyday where the price hasn't exploded to the moon yet is celebration day on: July 20, 2016, 12:49:20 PM
I remember when I wanted to invest 2k€ into bitcoins when price was 400€.. people held me back, saying "noo you will lose it all"... I regret listening to people.

In investing or in any major decision you do in life, you don't listen to people.

@ontopic When do you guys think we'd end this celebration days?
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: July 18, 2016, 09:31:05 AM
The answer is very simple...NO! Bitcoin can't end world poverty by any way. It can only make rich people richer. Bitcoin is a currency of internet and most of the poor people don't have access to the internet. Bitcoin is not a physical asset and hence poor people will not be benefited from it.

But if there is someone kind enough to take the responsibility to buy all bitcoin and donate to the poor people, then it may help. lol!!

It can only make rich people richer. This statement of yours is politically incorrect. It's just a medium of transferring value, nothing else.

But IMO, ontopic, No it can't. It was never even meant to address that problem.
1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go to US$800+ on: July 17, 2016, 04:39:09 PM
It is party time and I have doubt as like price is very stable around $650, I am pretty sure $800 is not so far very soon price will be there, everything is moving into positive direction and that is wonderful achievement with the help of block halving price got stability.

It's already past $675, hopefully this upward trend would gain momentum. Time for another great bull run I suppose.  Grin
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 16, 2016, 12:33:04 PM
Would rather see them try and trade for Butler and Hayward.

Don't like Griffin for this team much at all actually.

Smart, 17 Nets pick, filler for Butler.

Jaylen Brown, future first, young player, filler for Hayward.

That way the have IT and Butler on great contracts. Can max Hayward. And they keep Bradley/Crowder...which are two guys absolutely essential to beating the Warriors/Cavs.

This is about winning the title...that team is better suited to win than adding a guy like Blake imo.

IT/Avery/Butler/Hayward/Crowder/Horford...

That is the makings of a squad to beat the Warriors imo. I like Rozier as well.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Igoudala, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green.

That squad aint beating the Warriors lol

the warriors got rid of all their depth. They got rid of 4 key guys in their run.
Weird to see a team that breaks the record for best regular season ever, then
have 3 shots to win the finals and instead of just keeping the team together they
sold the farm to get 1 guy who also isnt physical. We may look back at the warriors
and wonder why they broke up a team that dominated for one guy.

True, lock them up in tight defense around the perimeter and they'll struggle. They collapsed in the finals because they lost Bogut, now they lost more of the key defense guys. Even with Iggy and Green, IMO they'll have a hard time defending.

But Durant is Durant. He's probably worth the trade. Let's just hope he doesn't end up like Kevin Love that lost the scoring numbers when he went to the Cavs.
1536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: July 16, 2016, 12:25:26 PM
based on the past years. bitcoin is increasing price on the end month of the year. maybe many have their christmas bonus and buy some bitcoins. haha

Well, I hope that's the real reason behind that. I was thinking that price might be dropping by December because of the holiday rush, everyone wants to do shopping on December to take advantage lesser price and by that I think at December everyone is withdrawing, But the effect in bitcoin is a little weird..  Cheesy

Probably a coincidence. There's not much connection for a holiday rush to cause movements I suppose.

Anyway I looked by the coindesk price index a while ago and the price was, guess what? $666.46. Just one digit and I can screencap it for the lols, but yeah, it didn't get it.
1537  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: July 16, 2016, 12:20:26 PM
Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?

You're way thinking into the future if you're saving up for your grand kids. Besides, your grandkids aren't your responsibility anymore by that time so it doesn't matter.

And your idea of a long term project is really long I suppose.
1538  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: July 15, 2016, 05:02:43 PM
before when i was only earning $3 usd per week i was just using some portion of it in buying some loads  , but now i am actually earning $4 per day and i am converting them into steam wallet code and sell it
well dont you think that it would be better to just hold all of your bitcoins and not do anything with that? i think in this way you would be able to make even more money really easily

I am holding but only a portion of my bitcoin because i am needing money everyday and long term is really not my aim because we all dont know whats going to happen

If your goal is not for the long term, it is better to make short-term gains, such as trade. rather than just holding and convert to fiat then spend it.
Trading is the good option to spend bitcoins, from this you can also earn some more bitcoins from trading. I also spend my coins in trading and now i am planning to spend my coins in visiting beautiful places and enjoy my vacations.

On the other hand, it's also a good way to lose your coins. Trading is hard, really. Predicting markets comes with huge risks. You're better off holding.
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: July 15, 2016, 04:51:32 PM
I'm not sure why OP would sell so close to the halving - lol.
What's the problem? Halving didn't even affect the price of bitcoin and it is prove when the time halving happened there's no big impact on the price that happened too.

Well for once we're at ~$650 now most likely because of the halving. IMO markets are still settling and the effect of the halving isn't yet to be felt, probably in the coming months.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 14, 2016, 04:57:03 PM
Even Duncan retired San Antonio is one of the contenders in West. They built franchise on Kawhi Leonard and Lamarcus Aldridge. We can say that Duncan - Parker - Ginobili era is officially over.

The new Spurs big 3 is Leonard-Aldridge-Gasol, although a PG position would be better off completing the trio. Let's see how this would match up against the super warriors team.
