561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 22, 2020, 06:31:41 PM
  Cheesy Cheesy Grin
I bet this has happened to probably all gamblers that ever gambled. Losing more in the process of trying to recover what one lost earlier. This happened to me back in 2017 and I have since then stickied by some rules I made for myself. I call them 'Personal Rules for Gambling'
1. Always gamble what you can afford to lose. Any successful gambler will attest to this great advice. It's a golden rule
2. Quit after 3 losses in a row. Some do five in a row but I try as much as possible to keep it at 3 to reduce my losses
3. During a win streak, win as much as possible cause it's your lucky day
4. Periodically take some time off gambling. Blow some heat off and come back stronger

If you don't have much inside the platform's wallet you wouldn't be coming back to bet again and lose. Lucky OP got his money back after he bet again.
Some of us never get their money back and lose it all. Everyone that thought luck is on their side once upon a time may have tried it. I lose my Ethers on same situation.

Taking a break to find a lucky day is good, its however hard to figure youre lucky when you lose the 3 first bets made for the day.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Holders - What do you do with your BNB? on: October 22, 2020, 06:00:33 PM

The only I do with my BNB tokens is to use it for paying trading fee within their own exchange. From the beginning actually I have only bought 27 BNB since 2017 and I have never bought any BNB after that. I still have few left but its just going to be used as fees. I realize though that Binance will airdrop BNB tokens.

564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Affiliate Marketing state 2019 on: October 21, 2020, 09:18:49 PM

Its still a thing, there are still users who created casino review websites. I suppose there are people registering through them.

Only the ones who has a website that ranked on top that can make it with affiliate marketing. And ranking a website on search engine is one of the hardest thing to do. Its 2020 already and the Search Engine Optimization has become more difficult than before and adnetwork link google ads doesn't accept gambling websites.

565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 09:00:52 PM

I did the same that I bet more thinking of recovering back the lost amount but lost everything I have deposited instead. OP is lucky to have gotten back his funds. Casino games somehow has the most enticing pages that will make you think you can win any moment. And the moment you think so, you'd bet another.

I guess this would have happened with the most of us ain't it ?

The other day I lost a few $ gambling on Roobet. My luck was so bad that day that when I thought of gambling a little more so that I recover the lost funds I lost more than 3 times the amount I lost earlier  Grin Grin Eventually I just quit the game and didn't play it again for 2 days. This is too obvious for any gambler and everyone can relate to this feeling.

What you guys do when such a thing happen with you ?
P.S : I did play the game again after a few days and recovered some of the $. But this time I quit the game while I was in profit.  Tongue

P.P.S : I was conscious while I was trying to recover the lost funds and I tried only till that point where I can't afford to lose anymore. I always keep in mind the amount that I can afford to lose.

When you gamble you should only go in with an amount that you are willing to lose.  It's just like setting up a financial portfolio.  It's important to have a base foundation of more common and "safer" investments, but it's also important to try and hit some home runs ( buying crypto, penny stocks et).  However with those home runs you're trying to hit, you want to use money that once again you're willing to lose completely.

That is actually what people do, if you send 1BTC, then I guess you'd be willing to lose it.  Deposit 0.002 BTC and you will think twice of depositing again after losing.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 21, 2020, 08:21:46 PM
actually analyst says if we cross 13k$ mate but were getting closer now,

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

Bitcoin is running up ,and now pricing $12,348 and still going up.

It's touched almost touched 12,900$. I think PayPal news pushed the price a lot. But i believe if we can hold this price and cross 13k$ BTC will do one more pump. Let's see what happens.

It will push the price up later. Half the world still is hasn't learned of the news yet, Paypal users are going to be buying BTC as its tempting to profit thru this bull market.

The pandemic that cause the crisis in the economy has enabled the economy in the crypto so much stronger than before. It will definitely be the most sought investment soon.
567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All Exchangers scamming now on: October 20, 2020, 05:52:13 PM

You don't have to use the exchange if you think they are just scam. There are hundreds to choose from.

Exchangers are scamming now!!
Nobody Can't earn money anymore bots are all over Exchangers!!
What's Next big Exit scams When they take finally Our money?

Is any of the thiefes Here?
Can explain Why they scam now?
Its coz the Exchangers Will soon take all Our money?

Wtf is Going on?  And cashing outs are slow and support not Reply?

Correct. I am also angry at present situation of exchanges. Now booting system of exchanges damages normal trading system of all exchanges. Normal traders can not understand when a token will go high or low. Before it we can easily trace from graph but at this time graph did not work accurately. i did not know what kind of advantages exchanges get form booting system but this is very problematic.

thanks.

I'm also seeing things differently to the charts and I can't decide where the market really will be going, until the spike today that trend becomes obvious. But its too late for me to ride a trade.  Very interesting times actually, this could really be the start of bullrun coming but I'm still holding my USDT yet until I can see a real dip.

568  Economy / Reputation / Re: Requesting account deletion, all posts all topics on: October 20, 2020, 05:30:41 PM

It could really be hacked. An account with trades to some users here does know how things run here in the forum back 2014. If he starts to beg in a way then that is something very suspicious. It's likely that the real owner of this account loses its access.

You have to wonder though why he'd want everything deleted when its not his posts and the account is tagged anyway.

Shut the fuck up, one of you cowards deleted half my posts anyway when they were influencial

Go all the way, delete everything

Like they said you can delete them by yourself but the posts you have made and were quoted by users won't go away.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 20, 2020, 07:36:53 AM
There's a better chance of winning with sports betting. No local basketball in your country?

There are other sports that aren't totally affected by Covid, MMA for example, is just done in the fight island and the audience is limited but PPV.  There is also boxing, so far I have not seen boys who don't like the sport. You'd likely want to bet fights too. Some users go to the extent to watch previous fights of the MMA fighter to have an idea who has the chance of winning than with roullete.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 19, 2020, 09:19:21 PM

3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?

I stop playing, check the prices on CMC and then check the charts of my fav coins and then probably check more of the tokens I wish to buy and hold.

4. If you will have $1000, what game in the casino you are going to play?

I only try sports betting, probably not spend it all on betting, matches happen only once a week.

5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?

If you aren't married to a wife who complains every now and then about spending too much online, try doing so because it might just solve gambling addiction and will make you responsible in some ways.

571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [LIST] Bech32 Bitcoin addresses Not supported on: October 19, 2020, 08:32:23 PM

Isn't coinomi and trust wallet among them? I have used these two for awhile already.

I don't remember where I've read it but someone recommended that we create new wallet for every transaction to be made. And this is for security reasons because for every transaction the public key of the address is exposed. This could be too much of a security measure I suppose but it must have been a good practice and there are exchanges that I see allowing users to generate addresses.  Is there any of them that has plans for this?
572  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: pleaase be aware of cryptflash.com on: October 19, 2020, 07:44:55 PM

Heard of this story before from someone who also got the same offer from a mod of a casino in telegram but not from cryptoflash. Almost a very similar offer where they would split 50/50 of the amount the mod will organize my account to win a bet. He got $100 from you and want $300 more for a withdrawal fee lol.  $100 a minimum bet is obviously not the kind of casino that will work anywhere in this world. That must have been a que, anyway its already over. Lesson learned.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Curio hit 5$ in near future? on: October 18, 2020, 09:00:30 PM
When Cur token .15$, Since then I have seen the Cur token. This is a potential token. Whose product is the car. They have also been able to sell cars in the meantime. It has hit 4$+ in some days ago. Supply only 2 million. It is currently in high demand in the market. If any positive news comes. Hope its going to hit 5$ in this year. Lots of news up front. Stable coin, marj upcoming news. Team says this news will come together within in this year.

I have some of this token that I have earned through their bounty campaign. I haven't sold it yet but then its just probit that has the most activity for this project.  Its price still is dumping today, its such a bad timing for a project to die when all the positive indicators of bulls are up to start the intensity. I didnt expect the token to hit the $4 ATH, I miss that chance but whatever.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 18, 2020, 08:47:15 PM
It looks like majority of players didn't read the terms and conditions rather than users who reads terms and conditions. It's true that sometimes we're lazy to read this because it's too long but what i do is search using the word search for the KYC and other stuff lang deposit and withdrawal to make it easier.

This means that you also don't read it.

Looking up only the KYC or withdrawal part and reading only sentences where these words appear is not reading the TOS.  Wink
I was honest with my pick because I don't read it. It's usually too long for me to bother. I rely on other people's opinions and reviews to find what I need.

TOS are long text, I think they should just put a audio/video reading it and the text are just optional that you can click to view and then a checkbox below when there is the need to agree.   Cheesy

I have not read any of it too but I will, however, ask the mods of the casino in teh chatbox what I needed to know if they'd treat it as illegal in some ways.  KYC most of the time is what I ask.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FREE advice for exchanges to make crypto trading easier on: October 17, 2020, 05:19:54 PM

You are only converting your coins to your local currency and you can use google to do that for you.  There are exchanges with this GUI that if you trade with BTC/KRW, its value in KRW is also presented below. I don't know if that helps but it's a fiat valuation.

Traders who constantly trade are more concerned with the number of satoshis they earn after and not the value in local currency like EUR.

<snip>

You have zero knowledge of marketing & Bitcointalk traffic. Even if you spent 10k USD week, you will get zero customers from here. (Our friends promoted their business, so we know the reality)
Do you mean that your friends promoted their business here? and they still got no traffic for their promotions here?
If so, what kind of promotions or marketing they did here?
As what I have observed here for a long time that I'm here in Bitcointalk, signature campaigns seems very helpful for advertising one's company.
It's really working as long as the campaign is well managed, together with the participants and their posts.
Surely, the result will depend on how you managed the promotion.

Its his loss if he do the same thing like his friends. Maybe the friends he refers are the ones also related to RGT. CryptoBet.com and Bitcoinbet.com and the rest of them who  users private label of RGT must have difficulty getting traffic and clients.  I don't see a casino with same layout of RGT that becomes popular here in the forum.

Promotion need time and trust building as well. If all your friends are doing is just spamming links like what OP did in the first page, its also going to fail.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: China conducts one of the biggest public CBDC tests! on: October 17, 2020, 04:06:19 PM
It will possitively affect thier economy when other countries will apply also their own digital currency that will be compatible with China's digital yuan. Most probably the countries that are partners to thier one belt road initiative that will be part of hte trade routes from Asia to Europe. But this is also bypassing the USD regulation which is likely not going to make Bob happy.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 16, 2020, 06:49:01 PM
The answer is yes! But I don't really read the entire ToS, rather I look for few key points as mentioned below,

1. KYC Requirement
2. Country ban list - to check if my country name appears there or not
3. Fund withdraw related rules

I think these are the most important things to look at while starting with a new casino.

KYC is not as important as the other two unless you are depositing thousands of dollars, most casinos will leave you along if you deposit a few hundred bucks and they'll only require you enter your country of residence and age. I don't know how many of them actually verify this information when you make a withdrawal, but the ones that don't will usually look at your KYC when they ask you for it to check if you lied about your country of residence, which wil cause your account to be closed.

Nearly all casinos mention KYC in their TOS and usually it's just to stop cheaters from abusing the platform.

KYC is the most important among the 3 mentioned. You'd not only lose the enormous amounts you deposit but your name that they can extort you instead. That's another reason why they ask KYC, either steal your ID or extortion purpose. I haven't heard of casino extorting though but its not going to be fun for a victim.

You know nothing about them but they know you with all your details and this is just a casino that could be operated by scammers.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Message to Bounty Managers and Participants on: October 16, 2020, 06:16:36 PM

Like you said they only care about raising a large community and marketing of the project. If the project will receive funds from investors, they will continue to do it without issue. Calling them out for "post of authentication" will just be ignored.

What you can do so they will take time to look at your concerns is to find fault in the project and you create a scam accusation or plagiarism thread. When that happen, you just wait til DT gives negative feedback to their account.

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Little Experience with USDT - TRC20 on: October 16, 2020, 05:33:14 PM

I have not used the USDT TRC20 for I normally just buy TRX with USDT (ERC). One problem that you'd see later is that if you like investing in the ERC Tokens.  You'd be limited to TRC20 tokens on Justswap or on Polo if you are using USDT (TRC20).

I think users will be opened to new discoveries in TRON projects when they try USDT (TRC20). First that you may want to do it install a browser extension or an app on phone the TRON LINK wallet. That's all you need to access all the projects including the casinos and exchanges.
