621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: April 29, 2021, 05:00:30 PM
BNB has a chance to become the king of altcoins, but not all of it, since bitcoin is still the king of all crypto.

As we've seen, BNB can be the king of altcoins because there is a lot of defi being produced every day and it's all under the BSC. Even the safemoon, which has 1.4 million holders in just a few months, is subject to BSC. The transaction costs in BSC are relatively low as compared to the ethereum blockchian, which is why many traders prefer it.

...However, if ETH 2.0 is released, the DeFi craze would most likely resurface on the ETH mainnet.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: April 29, 2021, 04:34:34 PM
To begin with, investing is not just for the wealthy; everyone can do it if they have the funds and are willing to buy crypto and hodl it. Actually, we can still diversify our capital, even if it's just a few hundred dollars; we can still make a profit, but it won't be as big. Consider what happens if you put all of your money into one coin and it makes a lot of money, even if it's just a small amount.

Actually, if you've invested in a right and future coin, even if it's just 20 dollars, you can hit some x100 secret gems in defi.
623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: April 29, 2021, 03:42:06 PM
profit taking will involve a trader to buy low and sell high. it sounds simple but it isnt. if not properly mastered you might miss a time to sell and a time to buy back and intervals to do this buying and selling. share your skills and techniques that can be used to achieve this.
It can appear to be easy, but it isn't; yes, there are other TA to consider before entering the market.

The support and resistance levels are one of the fundamentals; buying a dip does not guarantee that it will bounce because it can break through the resistance.

The crypto market can be deceiving at times; it can go up and down, so we must buy on a dip where there is good support or flooring to ensure that it does not go lower.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: April 29, 2021, 02:45:04 PM
Just sold 5% of my Bitcoin that I've been holding for 3 years and I feel satisfied doing so.

I didn't need to sell, and it was mainly for the satisfaction of getting back some of my original investment.

However, I also feel like its broken the "HODL AT ALL COSTS" mindset which I felt was getting a bit unhealthy.

I do feel there are risks with Bitcoin, and I won't drag people down with that here, but I will be diversifying that money into gold and shares, mainly tech shares.

If Bitcoin dips a lot, I will also buy some more Bitcoin though.

Basically, I'm glad I sold some if only to stop feeling like a slave to it (and to test the Coinbase selling functionality which only took seconds for the transaction).

Congratulations! The main thing to remember is that by hodling your bitcoins for almost three years, you've made a profit. Some people can only hodl for months, so if you've been hodling for three years, it means you've bought BTC, particularly when it was $5,000. Then it means that you've profited a lot of money and if 5% of your bitcoin satisfies you then I guess it's pretty huge.

I recall my first time selling bitcoin; it was extremely rewarding, and I used the money to purchase a high-end pc to continue my cryptocurrency hobby.

Don't feel bad just because you've sold and didn't HODL at all cost because you've gained from 3years of waiting.  Cheesy
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 29, 2021, 02:05:14 PM
Of course, gambling is for everyone as long as you value money and have the discipline to be productive at it.

Gambling is a type of entertainment on which gender has little bearing because it is similar to playing games.
Some females are still shy to show what they're doing with their mobile phones to others because they think that is their privilege and they will only share with the person they like. That will include playing gambling because some females think that playing gambling is only a man activity so if they want to play gambling, they will play in a place.

I think that still happens in some countries because gender still takes part in some activity. So it could be like that because we do not know for sure about what happens in other countries.
It is undeniable that in many countries, women are still considered not to be free to do anything including gambling...
in my country, if a woman is caught playing gambling then the woman is considered a 'dishonorable woman'. even in this modern era, it is difficult to change the perception in society that all genders are free to do anything.
Yeah, you are right. If women do something that is not usual with what other women do, some people will say something not good. Maybe that is normal for women in the big country, but that is not like that in the other country because the culture in every country will be different. That will be different too in the Asian country. But I think women or men can playing gambling, no matter if they are playing in the casino or a hidden room aka online casino.
People can be judgmental at times, simply degrading those that aren't like them, and this is an attitude that we can not accept because it ruins each individual's socialization. Gambling isn't only for men; it's just that the majority of men, even in their old age, gamble, which is why they believe it's just for men. In my country, it's common to see women gamble, so it doesn't matter to us whether they're female or male when it comes to this type of entertainment.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 01:16:31 PM
Tesla buying Bitcoin made sense, because Elon Musk is quite an eccentric guy, but I just don't see Facebook doing something like this. When Tesla disclosed their BTC purchase, their stock fell a few percents immediately, I'm sure Facebook wouldn't want to risk such thing.

Also, Facebook showed anti-Bitcoin behavior in the past, they banned any ads that contain words Bitcoin or crypto on their platform.
I don't believe they are anti-bitcoin; I believe they have blocked advertising related to cryptocurrency because of the scam giveaways that have spread throughout the site. Yes, stocks have been decreased but the counterpart of it is they've gained in the crypto market.

It's a big risk for their business; consider that their bitcoin profit was nearly $101 million. Of course, Elon Musk is well aware of his actions and the consequences; I doubt they made this crypto investment on the spur of the moment.

So it's possible that Facebook will do the same thing, with proper asset planning.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 29, 2021, 12:25:25 PM

That is totally right, it is said that you should not invest or bet what you canīt afford to loose. In my case that is in the range of 10 to 20 USD a year Wink but there are many people out there that really, believe or nbot, do not even know what to do with their dough. I am talking about guys that have enough wealth for 5 generations and donīt care for any bet lower than a million. BTW, it is good learning to loose a large sum... it makes you appreciate the value of money.
How exactly does loosing a large sum make you appreciate the value of money even more? Isn't it that you completely loose the connection to money? I cant imagine if you lost 1 Million Bucks that afterwards you appreciate money more than before...

If you earn a large amount of money easily and you also lose it quickly because of greediness then that is where you appreciate more the value of it. Like from my experience when I was still gambling before, I was close to having 1btc that time where I only started with a small bankroll, I recklessly bet more thinking that I could still earn and make 1btc. I increased my bet per game to earn my target amount but I am not lucky anymore and I continuously struck some losing streaks until I ended up with 0 balance. I wasn't able to sleep that day and thinking that if I did not greedy I should have a huge amount of money the next day. That was the time I appreciate more the value of money and realized that gambling is not a way to be rich.
True, once you've lost it, you'll know how much money you've got before it's gone. In gambling and trading, I've found that greed is one of the most difficult opponents to overcome in order to make a profit every day. Always remember that profit is one of the best practices; if you've already amassed a large sum of money that an average individual would not be able to raise, you can enjoy it.

We are often optimistic that we will gain more and that the multiplier will be big, yet we do not anticipate losing it unexpectedly.

This should serve as a lesson to others that if you always take profit, you should not treat it as a way to make money like gambling, because you will always lose.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: April 29, 2021, 11:56:19 AM
When I think about poverty and the poor, there are many connections.
The poor take the form of incapable of working, low-income workers who have additional obligations to support other family members.
The cause of poverty comes from subjective and objective circumstances.
Subjective circumstances: laziness, enjoyment, low education, low level of labor, ability to communicate.
Objective circumstances: National policy, burdened with feeding more family members, incapacitation due to accidents, birth defects, underemployment, epidemics, food problems nation. The above problems come from a specific country. Each country has a distinct difference if you try to compare a few countries of the world.
Poverty and the poor always appear and standards vary from country to country. I firmly believe that the poor exist for the reasons I have listed above.
I agree with what you've stated. We won't be able to eradicate poverty in any society because it will still exist, regardless of the government's policies.

And, besides, poor people were there to keep the environment in balance; if we're all wealthy, who would make progress, particularly in agriculture, because we have no one to rely on? No one can employ to make the system full and profitable, so rich people can't start a business.

It's human nature for some people to want to be above and to govern, to fulfill their needs by the use of other people.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: April 29, 2021, 11:26:22 AM
How would you define what is to be "rich"? Is it about having enough for living or is there something else that you would be looking to accomplish to be rich?
Is it 1 million USD? Is it 1000 bitcoin? what are your thoughts?
Rich? meaning we're financially stable.

IMO, if I'm wealthy, it means that money is meaningless to me because I already have a lot of it and have a passive income due to businesses. That's the idea of being wealthy that I wanted to achieve because I'm tired of always thinking about money, especially if you're struggling to make ends meet.

People believed that getting a lot of money would make them wealthy, but this is incorrect since money can vanish at any moment and cannot be restored. That is why people began wasting and losing money simply because they had those papers; little did they realize that with that attitude, they would continue to have financial problems. So for me, making money meaningless is the definition of rich.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 29, 2021, 11:09:28 AM
Tesla takes profit from crypto investment and some stupid people aren't even bothered, like I always say even billionaires who invest in crypto are here for the profits no matter how long they chill and hype the coins, be smart people
Just take profit and don't be greedy. All of us are also taking profit depends on how much we bet on trading and this is because of them who continuously helping or shilling cryptocurrency in the whole world. That's also the reason why some countries are now legalizing the use of cryptocurrency because of how those huge companies adopt bitcoin. Yes, they're profiting from bitcoin's rise, but we can't deny that they're also the reason it's growing and still breaking the all-time high. Go with the tide, and if you think they're going to dump, sell and buy the dip again; that's how the market works, and whales will still exist.

Some of us are already hodling altcoins, and the collapse of bitcoin may have an impact on the altcoin, making it bearish, as everyone has seen lately. The cryptocurrency craze continues thanks to those who choose to support it.

Also, keep in mind that only 10% of Tesla's bitcoin has been solved to demonstrate bitcoin's liquidity, which may attract many more buyers. Smiley
We aren't blind, we're doing research. Always DYOR in trading mates, don't blame the huge investors when some dumps are happening.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: April 29, 2021, 10:43:16 AM
I don't think it will be soon. The hype around doge is huge, but there is a lot of resistance. Another big problem is hamsters - a few bad news and the doge will go to the bottom. Although, maybe Elon has already come up with something and doge will be on the moon.

It doesn't have to be soon. The important thing is that sooner or later Elon will start pumping the DOGE price again, whether it will be in half a year, in a year or even in a few years, it is certain that sooner or later the DOGE will reach the $1 level. HODLers will win again!
I wouldn't trust that idea easily. If Elon feels like it, maybe yes, but there is no  certainty for that. He might choose another coin. Nobody knows how much he holds or if he is holding any DOGE at all right now.
Elon is most likely protecting his reputation, and you can bet that many people will be upset if they discovered that he is merely playing with the market. So I doubt Elon would choose any coins, and that's why he just chose Dogecoin: it's a meme coin, and he doesn't want to be associated with other coins, no competence. When Elon is shilling, he is well aware of his potential and impact on the market, and he will, of course, make the smart move; he is a clever man, after all, and that is how he became a millionaire.

Sooner, I'm sure that Dogecoin will hit 1$, just wait for a week or months, it will show us its potential.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? on: April 29, 2021, 10:22:50 AM
In my opinion, gold is difficult to come by and to acquire, whereas bitcoin is relatively easy to obtain if you are trading and profiting. As you can see, the majority of people now own bitcoin and it can be easily exchanged in any amount and you can now benefit from selling when the price rises.

Though they have different purposes and functions in society, one cannot disagree with their utility because both are useful depending on the needs of the people. However, if you want to be sure, gold, which is a tangible object, is the way to go.

But for me, I prefer BTC since I'm using it daily due to trading.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: April 29, 2021, 08:53:19 AM
No, if I ever get stuck on a coin, I'll profit from the uptrend of another coin.

Then check to see if the coin you recently invested in is about to pump again. That's one of my trading values because I only have a limited amount of money and I'd rather make small profits than wait for the coin to go up and demand the profit.

Each coin will always experience a correction; however, you should be aware that we, the investors, are the ones who control the market. If the coin is overbought, anticipate a correction, swap your coin, and then join the dip once more.

If you're stuck and your coin drops dramatically, it's possible that your entry price is too high or that your entry is wrong. If you've had a significant decrease or, to put it another way, a correction, it's your fault.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: April 29, 2021, 08:32:11 AM
$5k is a pretty huge amount already so I suggest you should go investing in some altcoins that have a lot of potential and future projects such as ADA or Cardano.

I'm also supporting other blockchains such as TRX, BNB and ETH because they have the potential and many popular altcoins are created because of them.

Like BTT and WIN of TRX.
CAKE and 1inch of BNB.
UNI and Chainlink of ETH.

ETH already reached $2k while BNB is $600, TRX's pump is coming soon. If you follow this logic, ADA has the potential to grow more like those altcoins that I've mentioned.
but still $DYOR
635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To keep coin long term on: April 29, 2021, 07:57:21 AM
Hello community here,

I am newbie here and happy to join here.

My ask is what will be your advices about keeping a coin long term ? Which coin is worth for it?

any ideas will be appreciated.
The number 1 altcoin that can be kept forever is ADA - Cardano.

Why? there's a lot of investors and it is one of the top cryptocurrencies with a huge trading volume. If you check their roadmap, Cardano is very promising as it will compete with other blockchains and definitely, DeFi craze will also start whenever it's accessible right now. It has also a scalability solution that the other blockchains are experiencing.

The price is still 1.40$, buy it now before it becomes 10$ or 100$ like BNB!
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: April 29, 2021, 07:15:10 AM
I suggest to hodl as long as the hype and shilling continues.

I really regret buying $50 worth of Dogecoin in January, because if I keep it, the price will be $20,000 right now.

Consider how a small amount of money invested today will develop into a large sum in the future. If you have extra cash, consider investing in Doge and hodling for a longer period of time. The dogecoin hype train will continue as long as Elon Musk and Mark Cuban exist.

And... there are many artists that are also shilling Dogecoin, it has an impact on it so make sure to be notified on all socmed platforms of those people I've mentioned. Let's pump this memecoin!
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Elon Musk "Smart" Tweeting Continues! on: April 29, 2021, 06:10:58 AM
First of all..... I'm really confused how Elon Musk becomes the host of SNL, i mean he's a CEO of Tesla and business thingy is what he's doing right? and besides, some SNL cast doesn't want Elon to become the host.

Anyways, if he mentioned Doge in that live show, another pump for Dogecoin will coming. If you knew how powerful Elon's tweet, you'll know how huge the pump will coming, might get a huge profit because of SNL "if" he mentioned it. We know he has intentions of promoting it due to tweeting dogefather recently.

But of course, it's not good to join the hype especially of it's already soaring high, avoid fomo.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk statement on his Bitcoin holding on: April 28, 2021, 11:49:26 PM
So, Elon Musk's shilling for bitcoin continues, which is a good thing because it means that other institutional investors will jump on board and pump the BTC price again. However, IMO, this is just like a defi degen, where pump and dump schemes can happen because he's a big player in the crypto market.

Still, I assume he can hold it for a longer period of time, and I can't blame him if he makes a profit during that time, as we are doing the same thing. Everyone is riding the pump they're doing, if we lose then it's our fault for riding the hype train without $DYOR.  Roll Eyes
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nexon Purchases $100 Million Worth of Bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 11:29:30 PM
If people, especially those who are familiar with the business, hear about the next Tesla, another bitcoin pump will occur.

Probably, they'll only benefit if bitcoin rises a little, but it's a good thing more people, such as institutional investors, will come to bitcoin, and more confidence will be created.

If you knew that the rise of bitcoin was due to them and you were still in a position to profit, you might choose to profit regardless of the possibility that they could take profit soon.
Follow their social media accounts; they're the market's whales, and their actions have a major impact on price increases.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: April 28, 2021, 09:51:03 PM
$1 million is already a large sum for me, but once it reaches, I'll convert it to fiat. There is no other way to raise that much money simply by hodling. And my thoughts on it hitting $1 million are that it is very unlikely; just consider the obstacles; particularly wealthy people will refuse to support it because it will destroy or break the fiat's value in the world.

A bitcoin with that kind of value would undoubtedly have a massive effect, not only on society, but on the entire world.

Of course, those who have held 1 bitcoin since the beginning will become millionaires and will be among the few who can truly dominate the market.
