681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) Pumps 10% As Elon Musk Links Memecoin To X on: October 10, 2023, 01:46:30 AM
This kind of news or event is becoming normal to Dogecoin. With Elon Musk talking Dogecoin, it will just help Dogecoin to pump, we already saw this several times and I believe it will continue, especially once we will be in bull market, cryptocurrency will be trending and most of personalities will use their power to pump their bags.

Bitcoin becomes even less volatile every year. The fluctuation is not as good as before. Trading on the spot is every harder than before caused by there was no enough fluctuation. The small capital traders are impossible in making decent profit from bitcoin trading.
The small shrimp shall go to the futures to get decent profit. It's likely there will be no huge gain or loss during october. The price seems stuck in the same place.
(.....)
This is also what I observe, for me, as time goes by every year, we are going healthy and becoming healthier, maybe because of a lot of factors. For me, the first is because of the volume and adaption.
Volume by there are already lot of money pouring in the cryptocurrency market plus a lot of new people is getting introduced to cryptocurrencies everyday.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 10, 2023, 01:16:17 AM
(....)

How about you guys, are you having a good fortune on your gambling career? Do you ever think of quitting after you won a jackpot?
Me, I am in the middle, I can't really say I am lucky and I still can't say I'm unlucky. I am just not really doing a lot of gambling even if I feel lucky or unlucky.
I only gamble sometimes, it depends on my mood or free time.
About quitting if ever I win a jackpot, I think yes? Because when I do gambling, it's only leisure sometimes for me, so winning a jackpot is a life changing for me.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In Case of Global Conflict, Is BTC The Best Alternative? on: October 10, 2023, 12:32:03 AM
Hodl Bitcoin in times of war is the best, the fact is you're protecting your asset because in times of war anything can happen, maybe the burning of banks or the burning of houses or maybe banks shutdown and such shutdown may lead to breakdown of physical asset. But I don't see Bitcoin fight against inflation in times of war.
I understand your point here you are avoiding holding anything physical because of the war and you can easily lose it. You have a point here.
But I think what OP really want to mean here is the value of holding Bitcoin, in term of the price of Bitcoin. We all know that this current turmoil can be considered as fundamental analysis to add up in Bitcoin.
But for me, since this turmoil is only few countries are really affected, I don't think Bitcoin will also be affected here, not the same with COVID-19 before.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nowhere is safe? on: October 10, 2023, 12:23:16 AM
Having knowledge of basic security when using the internet is really a must especially if your money is stored online like cryptocurrencies.
Another thing is even though we know that nowhere is safe even though centralized exchange is reputable, we really still need to protect our funds by avoiding storing your cryptocurrencies on the exchange, you can create your personal wallet.
Another thing is having knowledge abut scams/hacks just like identifying phishing sites or some scams, it is really helpful.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to know about Bitcoin Halving on: October 09, 2023, 10:49:02 PM
How is everyone doing? So I stumbled upon a very interesting topic where the user was asking about halving in Bitcoin beginners. The response to that question was so interesting so I thought of sharing it here.
(....)
I think OP you know how to check charts right now, even if you just view it from the history.
Just check the price of Bitcoin on every block halving in the past, you will see how the price is reacting on every "before" of Bitcoin block halving.

Check more info about bitcoin block halving here: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/

687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA method on: October 09, 2023, 10:40:05 PM
(....)
Since I introduced the DCA method to them, it was a game changer too them,
DCA is the best way for low income earners to acquire more Bitcoin.

I don't know if anyone else has different opinion about it?
I agree that it will help some low-income earners because you will be able to learn a lot of lessons here which for me the major is the ability to save, like when you are an employee and have this salary which you are saving some part of your salary or any money that you make is already win, with this attitude you are helping your self, even let's say you save Bitcoin or fiat.
For me, DCA is already good or on the other hand, you can save fiat first and once you just feel like buying Bitcoin, you can use the fiat you saved, but this is not DCA or depends if you still want to do DCA using the money you saved.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage trading on: October 09, 2023, 03:24:14 AM
I don't think arbitrage trading is still profitable these days. But back in the day, a lot of people made good money by doing Arbitrage trading.
But take note that it's not easy money, some also lose money while doing Arbitrage trading.
I can say also these days, since we already have a lot of market, like these decentralized exchanges (DEX) on different chain network, these networks could be also good use when you are doing arbitrage trading.
(.....)
Usually we can manage or consistent to earn profit with capital $100 but right now arbitrage needed above $1000 and possibility to earn profit under $20, not easy to find difference coins price right now in dapp and CEX exchange actually some coins when first time listing on CEX exchange not opening deposit yet.
I understand this right now, it's really different now. But I am curious, is the strategy still the same just like before? Because if it's still the same and the nature itself is different now, and that's normal because most of exchanges now already accessible by majority and price is really stable now compared before, take note we already have lot of exchanges now, decentralized exchanges and centralized exchanges.
689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most risky adventure you must avoid on: October 09, 2023, 03:14:38 AM
(....)
Many of the our millionaires and billionaires often times found themselves in such a situation and took a chance without calculating any risk, because that is how the big money is made without thinking toomuch about it.
The bottom line is to however always be prepared in any area of interest and wait for the right moment to take the risk.
I don't think so. You don't need to be like them, you already know it's not good and know what is good or better for you.
Still, I can do the right way or better way to become successful, small or big, it's already profits and success for me and I believe in the process, don't gamble.
Risk management is a must.
690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common mistakes by unskilled traders on: October 09, 2023, 02:59:50 AM
(....)
_ Not managing risk properly: this protect your capital, by using stop loss other, It minimize potential losses.
From what I can see, this is also a common issue of new trading. We can say they already know how to analyze, open a trade, exit, or stop a loss.
But without managing risk or no risk management, they are all useless. The important thing in trading is our trading capital, without it we can't trade that's why it is always better to preserve the capital, protect it at all cost, and here comes the risk management.
691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX Claim deadline Sept 29 2023 on: October 09, 2023, 02:56:33 AM
I am also curious about "proof" when I tried to file a claim, there's a part where you need to provide some proof (I don't know what proof is this) like maybe proof of your balance in the FTX Exchange before? Because they already have a way to do it, like right now you can see your balances in the FTX Claim website which is connected from Kroll also.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 09, 2023, 02:52:54 AM
Quote
  • Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are banned in most countries, China, Russia and many more. Because the government is afraid of bitcoin

Government are not afraid of Bitcoin, the main reason other countries are banning cryptocurrency because they don't have control over the cyrptocurrency system and the government does not want to let decentralized project to take over their financial system.  Aside from that, many scam companies make use of crypto to scam their investors and the government saw it and wanted to prevent it from happening by banning cryptocurrency
(...)
Yep, most governments are just afraid of their people or the protection of the consumers. As we all know, a lot of tragedies are already happening in the cryptocurrency market where millions/billions have already been lost due to scam/hacking incidents or illicit activities.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin Hit $1 Million by 2026? Arthur Hayes Makes Exciting Forecast on: October 09, 2023, 02:37:53 AM
People don't know btc price next month and somebody still talking about 2026 lol

Exactly, I'm already tired of all those promises and predictions. I prefer simply DCAing and not thinking too much about that.
It's just pure speculation, everyone can say random numbers about the future price of Bitcoin.
Especially these big influencers, they will use their positions or powers to pump their bags, this is normal, we usually experience this during bull market.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 09, 2023, 02:34:36 AM
Being centralized and decentralized have pros and cons.

We can't hide the fact that there's a benefit of being centralized and decentralized depending on what people need.

Which side should we choose? I don't really care as long as I think it won't bring any harm on my part.
Yes, I agree with this, because there are some people that being too decentralize will make their life harder while on the other hand, being centralized is also not good for some other people. It's kinda annoying because there's no perfect at all.
But with Bitcoin is being decentralized, it's a good thing I can see because it solve most of the problem that we have on centralized entities.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling dreams in the future. on: October 04, 2023, 01:38:19 AM
We really thinking about profits and investments in Bitcoin without understanding Bitcoin like how it will help our current financial system, for me it's not good and worth it.
Bitcoin is not working only with investment or dreams or getting rich, it's a long term process.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project devs really needs to focus more on making user interface easy to use on: October 04, 2023, 01:32:43 AM
For me as a software developer, it is easy to improve the user interface of each software, we just need a talented team to do it and priorities.
Because besides the user interface, there are other important things to do that I believe it is more important like security or more in the backend of each software, especially wallets.
Another thing to consider, developers in cryptocurrency market are still few, that's why you will see the demand is very high if you will start working in cryptocurrency projects.
697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading purely based on luck. on: October 04, 2023, 01:27:14 AM
I don't see it as good for the long term, it is clearly said to be gambling.
I don't know also your basis on this is purely based on luck trading, like you have time on the day to open/close the trade? Or just a random time and just hit the open trade position button?
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage trading on: October 04, 2023, 01:23:26 AM

699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging people from Bitcoin... on: October 04, 2023, 01:17:52 AM
I have noticed something about some people in this forum...

Why is it that everytime a newbie shows his or her interest in trading Bitcoin, some people will always try to discourage the newbie?  You see them saying things like “Bitcoin trading is not for newbies”

None of us here was born a professional trader, fact is that we all had to start from somewhere. We were all once a newbie, until we started learning and putting in the work.
(....)
I believe it is just a normal piece of advice from the one who already experienced it, it's not really discouraging, it's up to you how you will accept that advice.
Sometimes this kind of advice will help you stronger and cautious because we all know trading is not a joke, it involves hard-earned money, so you need to protect it.
But since you have a goal, take those advice positively and continue with your goal to become  Bitcoin trader.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this fascination with claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 04, 2023, 01:11:25 AM
Well, first, I guess they're all crazy. You wouldn't claim to be somebody else if you are completely sane. That's something that's unreasonable.

Second, I can compare them with those who claim to be Jesus or some deity. A crazy person won't just claim to be his/her unknown neighbor. He/she will certainly claim to be somebody who is great and respected. In the case of CSW and this group, they're somehow exposed to the idea of Bitcoin and they're completely fascinated. It's not a wonder, therefore, when of all people they chose to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

Third, it also helps, of course, that Satoshi Nakamoto is anonymous. The real identity/identities behind the name is still unknown until now. In other words, it's available. Hence, their claim. They can't claim to be Hal or Nick or Wei Dei.
This is also what I am thinking, everyone is becoming crazy about the true Satoshi Nakamoto, it's becoming like Jesus Christ where most are mysteries, some are still thinking it's still a matter of knowing who is real Satoshi Nakamoto while some don't care anymore.
I'm the latter, because for me right now, I'm already happy on what Satoshi Nakamoto left us.
