681  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Price Prediction & its impact on cryptocurrencies on: September 09, 2020, 11:29:18 AM
Lots of articles that show Gold price prediction performance, and like the prediction in the opening post it shows that Gold really is
good as a safe investment. That's why big investors like Warren Buffet finally decided to buy Gold. This has become strong evidence
that Gold is indeed a safe investment. And some of the articles I read show Gold is getting popular  in 2020. In my opinion Bitcoin
and land property are another safe investment alternative besides Gold.

Gold is indeed a safe investment ever since from ancient times and even up to the present seeing its price is rising slowly. But bitcoin could be a good investment too particularly if its price suddenly goes to the moon and makes all its investors instantly rich. They are both safe investments for me but the risk for bitcoin and other cryptos is definitely higher compared to gold.

Well it has its ups and downs so we can't really say that it is a safe investment. There are a lot of factors that could affect gold, even the pandemic affected its price. Bitcoin may dump at that time but we never know. During the pandemic btc went up to $10K, dropped to almost $4K then stabilize and went up to $11K then went back to now $10K. Bitcoin is already a good investment, it is volatile, yeah but within these changes it gave me some good profits, gold can't do that.
682  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: September 09, 2020, 12:02:20 AM
Bitcoin may be decentralized but I don't think you should call it liberal. It is true that we can do things with it, we can take advantage of the decentralization and the pseudo-anonymity of it but without order, there will be chaos and to be able to do that we need a set of standards, rules that needs to be followed and that is not being free.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Can Reverse Bitcoin Transactions? on: September 08, 2020, 11:12:20 PM
I am confused, bitcoin transactions are irreversible, it is true they hold the majority of the miners but how would that matter in this situation? Is this because of the blocks that they can manage? Even with all of that I doubt it.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: September 08, 2020, 10:02:49 PM
Since money is badly needed in these days, cash is used as always even with the spreading covid virus. We will be safe if we will be considering to use digital payments and crypto currencies as well. But the thing is that we can't because the adoption of cryptos are still so low. Hope it will be considered in the future.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 08, 2020, 09:48:38 AM
Nothing is going to stop unless the user itself want to stop because gambling sites can make profits if gamblers play more and more so we can't expect them to stop us from over betting and other way could be locking our funds for a time frame in a website or in a wallet which also not feasible because no one really want to lock their funds.

Well, we can't really believe or even expect these online casinos or gambling sites to make a way to stop us gamblers from betting. It is either the government need to interfere with their policies and regulation or if we realize ourselves that we need to limit or we need to stop gambling. Another thing is that if ever that a casino site would be adding a limiting feature for their accounts, would gamblers really use it?
686  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 07, 2020, 11:35:20 PM
...
I understand that the reaction to COVID-19 varies (certainly from country to country), but where in the world are there people still being devastated by this pandemic?...

Here in our province, people are the same. They don't care and do what they wanted to do and go wherever they go not until a new case is found. They discriminate the place where the positive is from thinking that they might also be contaminated, most of them blame the government, the people and anyone they knew that's responsible.

They might look they don't care but deep inside they don't want it, it is funny since they don't follow protocols and when they got it they blame everyone else.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: September 06, 2020, 11:59:13 PM
The idea is good but this time they are suffering from the very bad economic condition. so they should solve poverty and jobless problem

Poverty is a problem in this world and I don't think we could solve it. As long as there are people in the extremes of the line of both sides, they will not go closer to the middle. I think they should focus on the problem with the unemployed even before hitting the main boss since it is an achievement you could use to fight against it. Then maybe just widening the availability of jobs, that would not just help people but the country as a whole.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you're making bitcoin complicated on: September 06, 2020, 11:45:45 PM
I think this is more precise to tell to a newbie or newcomers for making bitcoin not so complicated when someone would asked you about it.
...

Well, I agree, we could just teach them the easiest things to learn or to remember but if you really wanted to take care of your bitcoins, secure it, understand some things that you might be confused with, that complication will really hit those people and if they are willing to learn they can, if they don't that is just fine, it on them.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What area of bitcoin participation is easiest to work with? on: September 06, 2020, 10:59:00 PM
I have seen bounty hunter doing well, I have also seen people who do not participate in bounty and are making it well with trading alone, but I have never seen anyone around me being involved in mining, I learnt mining is more risky and cannot just be done alone, and if you even attempt it probably with your android, you may end up wasting your time and not even making it as the traders and hunters. It tend to take a massive effort to be successful in mining, you need good electricity, good mining wallet, computer with good capacity, and some other gadgets. Considering all this, which of all the participation do you see as least demanding and easiest?

Well, if you didn't participate in the earlier mining years of bitcoin, you will be really having a hard time. As time progresses, mining is getting harder and harder. If you want to earn bitcoin, invest in some good altcoins, if it has a good price you could trade them to bitcoin but take note, timing is important. If you have the money to start you could invest in bitcoin and just keep on holding.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 06, 2020, 10:32:34 PM
To be honest, I have never used a card counting strategy, but according to some reviews I have read on various forums.
Many card counting is successful after practicing it, but this strategy must have a good memory and can focus on concentration.
So it is clear that people with weak memories will not succeed in using the card counting strategy.
I will ask from a friend who is a math teacher to help me for beating the dealer in a live blackjack table. From the first look, it is not hard to learn but it is hard to master after falling many times. Overall, the edge over the house will increase and of course, our minds will be messy, just a single mistake can ruin the whole combination. Imagine combining this with martingale money management and being unsuccessful.

As far as I know, to counter this strategy, card counting, there are casinos that use continuous shuffling of cards. Also, it is said that the guy doesn't need to be a math wizard or maybe a math teacher, as long as he can memorize the cards being dealt and can multi-task on the table, you can actually win. I think martingale would be a great one to combine but it is counting so there are times that you are sure what to bet then you make some high bets sometime too.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 06, 2020, 09:54:42 PM
It is difficult to prevent a gambling addict from having a limit on his gambling and this is another big disadvantage for the gambling house when they start to have a limit for gamblers. That is why it is still better for us to find a way to avoid gambling because we will also know our mistakes through our big losses. But let's see if the gambling house will do it because it will change big if it happens.

It is good for the gamblers because they will not be allowed to spent over limit on gambling but casino will not be happy with this limiting feature. They want people to spent unlimited money on their casino's and they do not care if people lose all their money in gambling. If this rule is ever implemented, casino's will not agree to it.

In their defense, it is their choice amd responsibility to stop, right? Well, an addicted gambler can't stop. As long as they have the money to gamble, they'll continue. I think this should really be a move for the government. If these gamblers can't stop, and it is being a problem, the government need to step in to that line to prevent these.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: September 06, 2020, 03:46:32 PM
In the history of mankind there have been many cases when people tried to create, as it seemed to them, a more just society without taxes. All of them were defeated, because financing of common needs is necessary in any society. Another thing is how to effectively use taxes, but this is another matter.
Most of the people are in favor of taxes but the issue is they don’t trust governments most of the times with their money as corrupt politicians use them for their own purposes and needs. This is important for running a society that rich people pay some money or give it to poor to help them meeting their basic human needs and this is what taxes are supposed to do. Everybody would like to pays taxes if they know where they are being used.

Well, it is not that we don't trust the government but the thing is that they are giving us something as proof that they are corrupt government officials. Instead of using that for the country, they are putting it in their pockets for their personal needs. As far as I know, they also show where they spend the money of the people but sometimes there are trivial things being paid there. well not actually the item but the paid money is just hilarious.
693  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: September 06, 2020, 02:17:09 PM
There is too much difficult to recover the economy of every nation. But there is a chance to recover if every country focuses on their situation. don't interfere in other counties matter, like war etc.

Well, every country has it rough. With the cases continuously increasing, more and more people would be losing their jobs as more cases leads to more strict protocols that may end up closing some of the stores or places where people work. Since the vaccine is already at the process, I think we will be able to recover the economy damaged by this pandemic, we just need to wait.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the need to increase BTC's max supply arise in the future? on: September 06, 2020, 12:23:54 PM
It is still bitcoin, but not the crypto currency this community will support if that even happens. Talking about this, I remembered the incident in the past where a lot of bitcoin is made. I am not saying that this will happen again but I think if the max supply will arise in the future it will be for profit and greedy reasons and I can certainly say that I am not alive at that time.
Not sure what you are talking about, suppose the developers wants to increase the maximum cap we have right now, it does not mean that they are holding the coins but they will alter the miners incentives and it will have a natural process like we have now rather than creating the coins for the developers to hold  Tongue. No one is thinking about raising the cap as there is no need for it and the story about greed is just absurd.

Well, I am talking about if the cap is increased, I think a lot of people would be hating the idea and might not support the crypto if that ever happens. I know that it will not happen and I am just saying that if it happens, just a big "IF", I think it could be at that purpose, thanks for that explanation though and yeah, I also disagree with the idea.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 06, 2020, 10:17:56 AM
I don't think it will be illegal because you are doing nothing but just speculation externally, you aren't influencing any cards. But it's surely unethical in the casino industry which is based on luck and thrill. If you get to know if you are going to win or lose, there's no thrill at all in the game play. Either way, I think if one masters it, they have a great chance of winning the game. I watched a movie based on it on Netflix few months ago.

Card counting is not a way to speculate, for me it is a statistical way of having an upper hand against the dealers. As I also watched some videos in the past, some say it is just a mere subtraction and addition but that also means memorizing the card being dealt. No one knows if you will win or lose, even using card counting on Blackjack, some say that you can't stack wins every night. You will win some, you will lose the most, that is gambling.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 06, 2020, 12:48:48 AM
Due to the pandemic people are completely shut into the homes. All the conversation were between the family members. Within the family members beyond certain level we can't share the difficulties we encounter,  because they might be experiencing the same. Here the friends part helps big, and this itself could cause difficult situations and end up in stress. So, as an alternate people spending time to gamble isn't a big thing during the time of covid19.

Well, it may be the case in your part but from another perspective, they just don't care. Another thing is that most of the people here might not be living with their family so they are alone or with their partners or just siblings. That instead of them talking about it they miss gambling and tend to get hooked by online betting and usually sports betting.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 05, 2020, 11:51:49 PM
Feel sorry for the Bucks coach. I'm seeing a termination on the off-season.

This is the reason why we should really admire how Erik Spoelstra led the team. They are really great and they've been shutting down Bucks and Giannis himself with the scores he's giving. I don't understand but they have Kyle Korver, why do Giannis shoot at the arc? I think Heat might have a sweep again tomorrow if they keep on playing like this.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 05, 2020, 11:26:03 PM
Watching the movie 21, it is explained there show how effective card counting is and how bad it is for these casino owners, and it also shows how hard it is to do that. But it is also said that there are mistakes shown in the movie about card counting. But what I can ensure you is that these people are smart and can memorize these cards, well, since it is a movie.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: September 05, 2020, 11:07:21 PM
vaccine is the solution to this problem.

totally, no.  Vaccines won't do much for some health skeptics, politics and economics.  We all know that vaccines have some very logical drawbacks to reject the presence of these fluids and do not need to be injected into the human body.  A doctor will definitely think about it again when he decides to approve or refuse to introduce foreign fluids into his body.  We do not know what the liquid contains, which could be something that is not good for our bodies which is deliberately inserted into the bodies of all humans in the world including babies and children.  Doctors and other intelligent people would prefer to refrain from using it and see its impact on what changes occur in humans after injecting the vaccine in a period of 4 years.  Indeed it is a very long time, maybe even a new virus has emerged.  But what we need to know is that Covid does exist, and has dangers.  But the possibility for someone to recover is very high, meaning that we don't need to be too afraid of the presence of Covid, but we must be vigilant.

The Russian vaccine just passed the phase 3, also known the human trial. Right now people are rejoicing as they've been waiting for that months ago. India which is one of the hotspots of the virus is now talking about it and how thankful they are. Lastly, I don't see why we should depend on how people recover from this virus, that is just a ignorant way of saying let them die if they can't survive it. US will also have the vaccine and that could lead to great recovery of the economy and also getting back of the jobs they lost.
700  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 05, 2020, 10:31:20 PM
Pornhub may be the most popular adult site right now but I don't think it is that big that it could make bitcoin price dive like this, not a chance. I think it is just a coincidence like what happened when price fell down in normal dumps. Did Pornhub also released an exchange? A trading plaform? because if they did, then we can say that it can affect the price.
