701  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need EEPROM file for 42801 on: December 03, 2023, 11:33:45 PM
did the unit work when you ran it with stock firmware?
did flashing with vnsh ever work?

if no maybe the vnsh flashed board is bad.

I got a PM from him a few days ago check the message below he already tried flashing the unit with different firmware including custom firmware according to him the result is the same.

So I suggested him to flash the hashboard with working EEPROM it requires a hashboard code editor which is why he decided to buy this tool from Zeusbtc and now he is asking for working EEPROM I PM him and maybe someone had working EEPROM for this unit that he can get for free if not then he doesn't have any choice but to buy a working EEPROM from Zeusbtc if he wants to repair it by himself or contact zeusbtc to get help.

Hello there i need help with my 2 s19.. when electricity gone and came back the miner start abnormally i start checking but the log show me EEPROM error everytime i try custom frimware as well but the both s19 didn't hash need help please..there is no repair center in my country i will do everything to solve this problem..
702  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Need help for compiling cgminer for icarus ASICs (USB Block Erupter) on: December 03, 2023, 11:11:34 PM
All guides and solution for cgminer is on the Kano Gekko page which you can find in the link below.

Also, scroll down to the bottom and read under "Remove pre-installed hack linux".

Would you mind to try this command below and update here if the error will be the  same.

Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade -y
sudo apt-get install -y build-essential autoconf automake libtool pkg-config libcurl4-openssl-dev libudev-dev libusb-1.0-0-dev libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev git
cd
git clone https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer.git
cd cgminer
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=native -fcommon" ./autogen.sh --enable-gekko --enable-icarus
make
sudo apt-get install -y openjdk-8-jre-headless
703  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Crypto Payment Gateways? on: December 03, 2023, 06:13:09 PM
There are lots of options but since you are looking for the best then based on my experienced BTCpayserver and blockonomics are the best option.

Blockonomics supports 3 coins and it is hosted but BTCpayserver is self/hosted and it supports more coins.

1. PayPal
Does PayPal even accept crypto payments already? Lol.

I can't seem to find any information if the PayPal payment gateway has the option to accept Crypto.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transactions stuck in mempool with Sparrow on: December 03, 2023, 05:12:57 PM
The site you shared with us has nothing to do with stuck transactions that site is phishing and please avoid accessing the site be very careful and don't use telegram to contact Sparrow support there are many scammers out there.

Here's the result after I checked the website it includes spyware and malware.

If you already access this site better scan your PC and let the anti-virus clean these malware/spyware/viruses.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Building mining machine, need help. on: December 03, 2023, 09:44:11 AM

I don't have free energy, but I have a 40kw photovoltaic system, so it's cheap Smiley

The problem is cheap or free the return of investment would take years for GPU rigs but for ASIC units the return of investment would not take a year so better buy ASIC units if you are looking for profit instead of building a Crypto mining rig.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to access from phrases only. on: December 01, 2023, 11:58:24 PM
What do you mean by an old paper phrase? Are you talking about passphrase?
Because Bitcoin core does not have a function to import seed phrases and maybe the old paper phrase you have is from other wallets?

Would you mind to check the old paper phrase if it contains a 12-word phrase?
You can import it to Electrum or any wallet that supports the seed phrase and recover your old wallet.
707  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust wallet KYC verification Phishing mail. Beware! on: December 01, 2023, 11:42:45 PM
That's a trap they will ask for a KYC verification and seed phrase and actually you can just move to other wallets with your seed phrase without KYC.

Deleting emails is not a good idea you will still receive emails from them if you just deleted them.
If I were you block who emails you and report it as spam to make sure you won't receive any suspicious email again from that email.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Building mining machine, need help. on: December 01, 2023, 11:29:52 PM
Why build a rig if you can buy ASIC units?
I don't think it's worth mining with GPU by checking calculators it still not worth mining unless you have a free power source.

Bitmain still selling units like s19pro hydro it is around $3k below.

Optional contact OffordScott for 2nd hand units.
You can message him directly here https://offordscott.t.me/
709  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s19 new 0 hashrate on: December 01, 2023, 10:54:50 PM
the supply cable to the electrical connection. Now it only works at night because during the day the voltage when I plug in the antminer drops to 170v.. Should a stabilizer fix that?

That's the reason why this unit won't work properly the source of power is not enough this unit requires 200~240v below on that the unit will run abnormally and sometimes cables melt if you force this unit to run at high power mode.

Are you using an extension outlet? I mean from the wall outlet to the extension cord then connected to your s19 unit?

I suggest plug it directly into the wall but if not then it might need a voltage stabilizer to avoid power drops.
710  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 01, 2023, 02:59:23 PM
In short, we can talk about its existence, we cannot mention names. Or can names be said without there being a direct recommendation?
For example: "Yesterday mixxptoabcd was closed by the US authorities, follow the news..."
I guess it's yes we can talk about mixers but we do not allow to mention their sites, name of service, links, or guide them directly by saying "Search it using this keyword" It is considered a "direct recommendation" you are guiding him/her to a mixer.
About the news with the mentioned name of the mixer service, I think it should be fine because you redirecting people to the news and its service is already closed.

Will you reject any image that shows the name of a mixer?  Undecided

You'll be banned I'm sure.
711  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Whatsminer M21S fault-- NEED HELP on: December 01, 2023, 02:17:39 PM
Yeah I have already tried that, thought the same. I’ve had them both disassembled when changing the washboards around. Everything is tight and plugged in properly. Also tried reinstalling the firmware maybe there was a glitch but still the same. Also tried bixbit firmware but that’s the exact same.
Well if you did all the basic things and it still doesn't work they sent you a defective unit or possibly the delivery guy didn't handle it with care during delivery.

Would you mind telling us what company you bought this unit?
If it is still under warranty then better send it back to where you bought this unit for replacement or repair warranty.
712  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Nano Ledger S Plus Questions on: December 01, 2023, 03:09:35 AM
I think the Ledger Nano S does not have a battery unlike their Nano X and even if the battery is low or dies Nano S should work just fine.

The LCD dim issue is related to a hardware issue you might need to replace the LCD or repair it by cleaning the LCD pins and terminals.

Check the video here how to do it https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe4UdL4BrMY
713  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s19 new 0 hashrate on: November 30, 2023, 06:37:42 PM
Hello, it's already working, luckily.  Apparently the power cables were too small for the consumption of the antminer.
What do you mean by too small? Did it melt?
Is that the power cord you talking about or the power cable connected between the PSU and the control board/hashboard?
714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you get malware on your phone scanning QR code? on: November 29, 2023, 11:44:41 PM
I think what you think is possible I can generate a QR code with different links but redirect them to different sites.

Sample you made a site and adding HTML redirect to the site of your choice under headings and then generate the QR code of your site that you can share with anyone if someone scans the QR code they will redirect to a different site.
You can add malware to your site to infect the users who access your site.

So be careful to scan any QR code make sure to use antivirus to scan the QR code or use the QR Kaspersky scanner or just download the Kaspersky app it has a feature to scan the QR code.
715  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s19 new 0 hashrate on: November 29, 2023, 11:05:58 PM
binance pool I have also tried f2pool and the same error also appears. Also, from what I see, they all fail. If only one fails, they would have to give me a reduced hashrate.

Ok then let's proceed to test all hashboard one by one and update here.
Include the logs in your post but this time make sure to put all logs inside the insert code tag to make your logs easy to read and clean
Code:
 just like this as sample.

717  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s19 new 0 hashrate on: November 29, 2023, 10:10:19 PM
Hello, only that appears in the log. In the dashboard it appears in rate stateabnormal, how do I test the hashboards one by one? the crc error is there any way to fix it?

To test them one by one you need to disconnect two hashboards from the power supply and disconnect them from the control board or you can just remove two hashboards completely and keep one hashboard and let it run for a while before copying the logs do it again on the other hashboard and copy all logs.

It's fixable and it is related to an unstable chip but let me ask what pool do you mine?
If you're mining on Nicehash the pool might be the culprit.
718  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s19 new 0 hashrate on: November 29, 2023, 09:17:01 PM
Is this the whole logs?
Please edit your post and put all your logs inside the insert code tag.

I can't see any other error from the logs except the crc error so the first thing that I would like you to try is to test all hash board one by one to find which hashboard gives you crc error and to test which hashboard is hashing normally and then update here.
719  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: antminer bmminer api for java on: November 29, 2023, 01:43:53 PM
Are you developing a tool for Antminer units?
Or are you trying to fork BTCminer tool developed by BTC.com and you are doing some changes?

I think the API use on Bmminer is the same as the API use on Cgminer?
Check the Cgminer APIs from this link below.

Or check this old one below.

720  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Whatsminer M21S fault-- NEED HELP on: November 29, 2023, 01:18:23 PM
Hi, thanks for your reply’s. There are no fault codes showing in the Whatsminer too, I’ve also tried 2 different pools but get the same result. I thought it was just tuning at first but I’ve had it running for 2 h+ and get the same result, just a constant loop I’ll get the logs off Whatsminer tool and post them. Running out of ideas tbh

If my suggestion does not work would you mind to try to replug all fan cables and power supply since it just recently arrived there's a possibility that there may be a loose connection between the power supply and the controller or there might be a loose screw on copper row, 6 screws should be tightened and copper bar should be aligned properly to avoid some issues.

Check the manual beliw on how to dismantle this unit and replug the PSU.
