721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto be British?? on: September 19, 2022, 01:26:29 PM
Why would anyone bother anymore about who Satoshi Nakamato is? I mean, a lot of theorists and researchers have tried to know who he is yet no one was able to know his identity which only indicates that he doesn't want people to know his identity.

Unfortunately, the data you've provided doesn't really prove whether he is a British Citizen even if what you've provided is indeed correct. It can only mean that he or his team was in London at the time and would not mean that he's a British citizen. I would like to think that the creator of bitcoin is from Japan, based on his name or group. We know how Japanese people are when it comes to technology.
722  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a bonus EVERY Month! on: September 19, 2022, 10:58:45 AM
KYC is applicable for both, fiat and crypto users. Anyways, you can always deposit and play without the need of verifying your account When you hit a win and want to withdraw funds, you'll need to do KYC. BetCoCo can take up to 3 days to verify the accounts, although usually takes around 24 hours Wink

Regarding the Free Spins, they will need to be wagered 30x in order to be withdrawn.

Keep Winning!
BetCoCo Team

Okay, thank you for this information regarding KYC on your platform. For withdrawal, all users must undergo the KYC to do so, am I correct?

Also, I've tried to check the bonus spins especially the "Gates of Olympus" however I wasn't able to find that game on the website. I've only find a game called "Gates of Troy", is it the same from Gates of Olympus?

We will indeed look into making these changes for better results!
I appreciate that you've considered my recommendation and made changes on the title of your thread. For me, this shows that you are open  opinions and that you listen to your users. I hope to see more of it in the future.
723  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a bonus EVERY Month! on: September 19, 2022, 09:59:36 AM
Welcome to Bitcointalk Forum! It's nice to see another gambling platform introduced to the forum. I was wondering why the banner you've included on the thread seems to be familiar looking and it was because it's the banner being shown on the forum itself.

Anyways, since you're already a copper member why not add some pictures and illustrations of your gambling platform on your thread to attract more users to the forum. I suggest that you change the title of your ANN Thread with something like "🥥 BetCoCo 🥥 -🔥🔥Bonus upto 0.5BTC a month 🔥🔥 " rather than the current title you have right now. Also, you can try to maximize your advertisement on the forum by starting a 'Signature Campaign' just like what I have below in my reply here.

Again, Welcome to the forum and I hope your gambling platform to success. Cheers!
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 19, 2022, 07:41:39 AM
I think Bitcoin is foundation of crypto market and will going to be that in foreseeable future. So I will collect as many Bitcoin as possible and will use them somewhere in future. For me I think if all go well i will invest and forget and will open my account after a long gestation period.
Same as you, I can never see any crypto that will even surpass bitcoin in the future (other than if a serious issue will be discovered) which is also why I will be holding on my coins as long as possible and try to accumulate in the process. Right now, I have no reason to withdraw or trade it into fiat anytime soon as I earn salary on my job to support my needs and wants. Also, I try to invest on other crypto and try to earn during this time where the market is unstable and at least earn some profit on which I turn some percentage of my monthly profit on Bitcoin.

Unfortunately, I cannot collect and forget as crypto is already a part of my daily activity, however I always try not to lessen the coins I've accumulated.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 19, 2022, 07:03:55 AM
Finding the right space is an important point for someone working remotely. because we will be more focused on work if we are in the right room. imagine if you work in a room where your child is playing back and forth running. it will really disturb your concentration. so make a special room for you to work even if it's in the corner of your room. and make the space special as a place that only you can enter. so you will not be disturbed by people in your house.
As someone who works remotely, having a quiet environment especially away from distraction will provide more efficiency in my task however it doesn't mean that you should isolate yourself among other people but rather to be able to have enough quiet environment to focus on. Yes, it is hard to work if your children are asking for this and that and playing which could distract from our work but still having someone around or beside you is a great thing to have if you're working remotely.

Also, other than having the right place, Being able to communicate with someone freely, especially someone who is from your work is one great thing to have as it can provide enough distraction and focus on your work as you won't be able to slack off or be bored at the same time be able to discuss work-related things.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 19, 2022, 06:38:11 AM
I've decided to help the poor and then gamble based on some personal experience. The recent one happened yesterday and today I lost big in gambling after long break. Yesterday few people requesting for help was on the streets, I had money but I did investigation to help and further didn't help them. My mind says if I could've helped them yesterday I couldn't have lost today.
Do you mean the karma? Like when you do good things to others, then good things shall also happen to you. I also believe that but as you've said, do a little bit of investigation before helping others if they really are in need of help.
Because it's becoming a side hustle of some people that they really are well off and pretends to be beggars and don't have anything in possession. I've seen some videos of it so it's hard to trust.
That's the thing about karma, It doesn't really make sense. Does helping someone who needed financial assistance will provide you with extremely high luck to win in your gambling endeavors? How can doing something good to others will give you something good in return?

Also, If your main reason why you would help someone on the street is to receive something in return such as luck, does that mean the help you provided isn't sincere or which can in return be Bad Karma instead of a good one? It is best to help someone that is sincere and not asking in return rather than expecting something to be reciprocated.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an electronic currency, can it be use for bet gambling on: September 19, 2022, 05:04:24 AM
Bitcoin is one of the reason why online gambling casinos became popular. It made the gambling more accessible to many people and you can also protect your privacy by using it.
Actually, Online casino has been there for a long time even before crypto however the payment method is very limited as only bank transfer, PayPal, and other way to pay through fiat. Cryptocurrency especially bitcoin has paved the way to make the online casino more convenient as the transaction can be done through various cryptocurrencies and provides more privacy to the identity of the gambler.
If you are playing on a crypto casino then bitcoin is definitely supported there. You should check what payment methods they are accepting. Some also accepts other crypto like DOGE, ETH, XRP. You can also use some stablecoins like USDT or BUSD if they support that type of cryptocurrency.
That's one thing that is great for crypto casinos as they offer various payment methods for the gambler which is more convenient for them. Anyways, apart from cryptocurrency some online casino also offers normal payment methods such as bank transfer, Paypal, and other fiat transaction.

OP can try to visit Stake gambling platform as it offers various ways for withdrawal and deposit on the platform. Also, it is one of the most famous and trusted crypto casino out there.

@rambofaik while they have cited profits as the main reason I believe that they’re also investigating your account for possible fraudulent activities, hence they have limited your account for the time being. Lastly try and spread your bets more, and do as the support says i.e. continue playing naturally for a while and once they verify that there’s no shady activities being done then I’m sure that they’ll probably restore your limits back, but it won’t be anytime soon for sure.
I doubt that there's any issue on the OP's account regarding potential fraudulent activities as they would not just limit the account but rather put a hold on it. I think it is most likely that the providers are reviewing his account and checking previous and future bets made and that will determine the limit that they'll set on the next update on the account. I suggest that OP should contact support at least every 1-2 weeks and see if there's any update about the limit on his account to avoid further delay on continuous back and forth email update.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to choose an online casino? on: September 18, 2022, 02:22:33 PM
Nowadays almost all casinos are licensed. It means that there is always a chance for you to be asked to complete KYC for some different reasons. Once we decided to play in a licensed casino, we should be ready for it. In my opinion the only way to avoid KYC is to play in non-licensed casinos but you should be smart enough to choose the most reputable one. Still, it is not a guarantee that non-licensed casino will never ask for KYC, but I think the chance is lower than licensed casinos.
Most casinos may have licensed right now however there are some gambling platforms that really aren't strict with KYC as they know that their users don't like it or are against it. It might be best to prepare in case we will be requested for KYC or Identification but it is something to not worry about if you don't violate any rules or the ToS of the platform. There are still a lot of users who hate to be requested for KYC yet they have violated the ToS of the platform such as using bots, VPN, and such.

Also, Non-licensed casinos especially those that are not well-known are the most strict about KYC as they'll try to find something to keep you out of your funds.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you being secretive about your gambling activity? on: September 18, 2022, 01:00:57 PM
At least to our kids, I don't want them to see or know that when we go out at night, we did go to land base casino's and play. It's because we don't want them to think that their parents have this bad habits, so before we go, we make sure that they are sleeping already or at least they don't have any idea where we are going at night. It's not that we also do that, maybe just once or twice a month, me and my wife go to traditional base casino's and have some fun and that it. For my extended family? doesn't matter if they know or not.
That's great! Children should not supposed to be influenced on gambling especially as a parent since we don't want our kids know about this things yet. They should not be exposed to any gambling related activities just like what the law indicates where casino should not allow 18 or 21 years old and below to do or go to any casino.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you being secretive about your gambling activity? on: September 18, 2022, 11:30:00 AM
Are you hiding your gambling activity from your loved ones, family or so?
Or are you being 100% open about gambling?
Nope, I have no reason to hide my gambling activities from my loved ones as I share my winnings with them. Also, I can consider myself a responsible gambler since I never get over my allocated limit for my gambling expenses.

Maybe, I could consider hiding my gambling activities before I was an irresponsible gambler who always gets emotional when playing and I often deposit more once my allocated bankroll has been lost.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 18, 2022, 09:28:24 AM
Honestly, I won't quit. I can give some to them but not everything that I set aside for entertainment. It's not that I can't live without gambling, it's just that I can choose to pay myself first using money that I worked for.

It would be interesting to know if those who said they will quit for a month would keep giving away their money to every poor person they meet. In most places, we encounter many of them on a daily/weekly basis.
Upon checking some of the replies on this thread, I'm not really sure that everyone is being honest but rather answering based on what seems to be the good option which is to help those who need assistance urgently. If only that will be true then there are a lot of people outside of a casino who will be begging for help as people will help them avoid gambling.  Roll Eyes

Anyways, I think the option of stopping gambling activities for a month or maybe even more to help someone is if that someone is a relative of yours or a loved one. Other than that, people who just give a small or average amount then move on.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 18, 2022, 08:01:47 AM
What underage people are addicted at is not mobile gambling but it was mobile gaming. I don't generalize them because there are still kids who have a self discipline and know how to use their gadgets properly. Thanks to the parents that raised them.
There are still a lot of kids and teenagers that are not into online gambling but rather to online gaming. However there are some instance where these teenagers will want something to buy but they can afford to which is why they try to find ways of earning such as online gambling while some capitalize their gaming skills to online gambling. It's best for us grown ups to moderate what our children are doing and try to educate them about other alternatives to avoid such as thing.

With a phone, everything is more accessible, and it's not a phone anymore it's a little computer! When I was a kid my first comp was PC 286, 640 KB RAM memory... discs and floppy discs. Now, these phones are like supercomputers.

Well, some parents are trying to provide other options for their kids. My kids are little, but they spend less time on phones than other kids of their age I see around. Simply we try to find something interesting for kids to do throughout the day that isn't a phone or cartoons. It's easier to manipulate kids while they are little, we will see what will be when they grow up and when the world and friends become a more important factor in their life.
If you try to compare old computers and devices before to what we have right now, then almost everything can be considered as supercomputer since almost all gadgets before are too old and outdated.

Unfortunately, as much as you want to avoid your children to computers, phones and other electronics, you can't. Just as you've said, most people their age are already into electronics, in time your children will also be influence in the near future. It's good that you try to  avoid your children to electronics now however there are a lot of positive things that can be associated to electronics to children such as educational videos, activities and such. I suggest to let them explore gadgets and electronic but limit them as it is what the current times are now.

734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 18, 2022, 05:53:06 AM
I came across an incident in which two persons who used the stolen funds on gambling to make it their winning amount. Online rummy is quite popular in my country and in one incident two persons have stolen a big amount and to make this money legal they've made a good plan. Both played one on one game and the losers amount moved to the winner. Here both are winners, finally they got caught. So, in all possible ways people do laundering. It is not limited to just casino platforms.
If you think about it, people can launder money in a lot of ways however gambling is one of the platforms that can be easily used to justify and launder illegal funds. Just as the story you've provided, Two people were able to make the stolen funds somehow clean just by challenging each other to intentionally lose to one another and keep and split the money afterward. This method is easy to do and with limited fees to do on the casino.

This is also why most online casinos require KYC for a certain amount to avoid these scenarios from happening so they'll be able to track the person in case something like this occurred. KYC might not avoid these from happening but it will make the investigation somewhat easier.
735  Economy / Gambling / Re: Professional Roadbike Cycling on: September 18, 2022, 05:40:31 AM
There is not much discussion about Roadbike Cycling and people like me do not even know what are the games / event for l Roadbike Cycling and where the betting is taking place.

However. i like your idea to increase the awareness of this sports too and give another opportunity to bet on. Since you have started this topic, you must be familiar with this sports and i suppose you already doing betting on it. To start with you can share your personal experience and where you place bets for Roadbike Cycling ?
Actually, there are some Cycling event that are quite famous and not only to Roadbike but rather to any other kind of bikes such as Mountainbike, and Fixed Gear bikes. One of the famous cycling events is Tour de France which is held yearly and has participants in most countries.

Unfortunately, Cycling compared to other sports, doesn't have much awareness and popularity which is also the reason it doesn't really have much effect on the gambling sports betting platform.
736  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Legit na trading site on: September 18, 2022, 05:16:29 AM

737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 18, 2022, 04:42:08 AM
Suppose that you are a responsible gambler who have allocated a certain portion of money to gamble each month. Now you came across a poor person/family who is in urgent need of money. Will you quit the gambling for that month and give the allocated money to the poor family or will you prefer to gamble as you can't live without gambling ?
The answer would depend on how the other person urgently needed the money. However, I would rather choose to help them but not to the point that I'll be giving the my whole gambling allocation for a whole month.

I can try to provide them with some financial assistance which is at least the amount that I can provide without compromising the whole gambling activity for a month.

Still, If the family that requires my assistance is somehow who is a relative of mine or even a friend or love ones then the choice would be obvious to halt my gambling activity and help them as much as I can especially if the needed help is urgent such as an emergency.
738  Economy / Gambling / Re: Professional Roadbike Cycling on: September 18, 2022, 03:34:11 AM
I love cycling as I owned any type of bike from Japanese bikes to Roadbikes to even Mountain Bikes. Unfortunately, In terms of betting or gambling, I don't see any websites or gambling platforms that offers these option even with huge cycling events such as Giro d' Italia or Tour de France.
739  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Legit na trading site on: September 18, 2022, 01:35:55 AM

740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why going for 1.02 odds and below on: September 17, 2022, 01:09:53 PM
Assuming I have $10 to bet with this week, going for 1.02 odd, the profit is $0.2.
Your calculation is wrong, your profit should be $0.02.
Actually, you're the one who's wrong simple multiplication should tell you that the 1.02 odd on a 10$ bet will give you 10.2$ in return if you win hence, 0.2$ profit.

Honestly, I don't think that kind of odds is really attractive, although let's say that it's quite a sure win but I think it's still very risky to bet on that since no one could say who will win in the fight, meaning, there's no guaranteed winner in sports gambling.
Odds like this on sports don't really attract much attention since the return is too small. However, people usually bet on these odds as the matchmaking isn't balanced which can be interpreted as a sure-win match. But still, it's hard to interpret a sports match as a sure win even with unfair matchmaking since the underdog usually gets underestimated.
