I didn't have much time to check over the markets today so just went with something simple:

⚪ SL top bowler: Malinga (3.45)
⚪ SL to win (3.25)
~snip~

I am very confident about the Malinga being the top bowler for Sri Lanka but I doubt the win for Sri Lanka will win. They are struggling right now.

Unlucky there, you almost called it perfectly!  Smiley
I was indeed but that was not enough :-D

SL is in trouble now, already lost 4 wickets within 104 after 23rd overs. I don't think SL will be able to score 220+, in that case SA will easily win the match although they are so unpredictable these days.
I predicted a comfortable win for South Africa. So I will hope to lose at least 5 wickets in the chase LOL

Don't trust random users who have no reputation whatsoever to lose.
You are missing this,

It is very funny, how a trust system work here. That guy had way too much trust in feedback , you can say 15 to 18 trade history. I told him to send first but he told me the exact things as above. So i sent him.

He thought that guy has some successful trade in this forum by looking at his sent feedback. The OP did not realized that those were sent feedback not received from others.

I hope now my topic in the meta will make sense to you. Ref: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5159492.0

If someone doesn't understand the header "Sent feedback", I don't think any changes can help him.
I understand it. It's easier for us because we are familiar with this interface but for a newbie or inexperience user it must be not that easy. Trust me (it does not matter if you don't), including this example I think I have seen more 2 or 3 times the same type of confusing users. Not sure if you guys witnessed any at all.

I think there will be another good way to layout the trust page. Which is use two tabs. One for Trusted and Untrusted received feedback, another for sent feedback, like ebay do.

Whatever, now all will say that it was my fault, i know.

I dont think some person can become a millionaire with scamming 33 usd from other, neither it would make me poor.

I will open a scam thread in evening. It just kind a gloomy situation for me.
The scammers don't care about it. Perhaps for them 33 usd is a lot. It's a shame isn't it? Anyway, sorry again about your lose. Hope you will be more careful in the future. Good luck bud.
7285  Other / Meta / Sent Feedback, trusted/untrusted feedback on: June 28, 2019, 11:16:06 AM
I have noticed in several occasions inexperience innocent forum users were confused about the Sent feedback and the Trusted/Untrusted feedback on the trust page.

Issue is that, it is hard to spot a feedback left by the user and received from another user because of the current layout. The only way is to spot the section first (Sent feedback, Untrusted Feedback, Trusted Feedback) then to know if that's a received or sent feedback. I am sure it's not always easy for inexperience and/or newbie users who have something to sell or exchange here or I would not spot few cases in my forum life.

I am sure you all in some point spotted it that someone was just confused about the sent and received feedback before to do a trade with a user.

Here is a recent example:

It is very funny, how a trust system work here. That guy had way too much trust in feedback , you can say 15 to 18 trade history. I told him to send first but he told me the exact things as above. So i sent him.
Today was my pay day in my office. 30 usd is my daily income if you divide 927 usd by 30.
I paid 3 usd on exchange to get eth converted to btc and send to the lender.
It was mh mistake that i tried to save 3 usd and got a loss of 33 usd. Hahaaa... great to see how trade and trust system work here.
You misunderstood the feedback. Those feedback were left by that user to other users. There are no reference to verify them too.

~snip~

I think the following idea will serve better:
# For the sent feedback - make the font normal instead of bold for positive, neutral or negative.
#
I think there will be another good way to layout the trust page. Which is use two tabs. One for Trusted and Untrusted received feedback, another for sent feedback
# Or do something else which could be identical from a quick view to realize those were sent but not received feedback.

Discussions welcome.

Cheers :-)

Not sure if he planned that to mislead other users. The feelback he left for others do not look good to me. Seems like he left a lot of feedback in the same day with different amount of trade.

Lol, this is the btc that i sent to the guy whonsent me the loan. I wanted to reapy him by exchanging here buf as this guy has scammed me i exchanged some more eth on midas exchange and paid him.

Anyways i had to pay him as he lent me money .

The guy here in trade has scammed me as i have not received any money from him.
Sorry to hear you lose. Please create a flag against this user so that we can save other forum members from scamming by him. You should not send him the ETH first since he did not have any trading history here.

Edit: Go from here if you struggle to find how to flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=1619834
I think the best will be to pick option two however read the instructions carefully before picking the appropriate flag.
7288  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting clarification regarding Self-Moderated Threads vs. Non Self-Moderated on: June 28, 2019, 10:21:04 AM
I created a new Thread with the intention of being able to remove anyone's reply in case it gets off topic from the thread's intended discussion, and I think I made a mistake, too-

Since I'm very sure I checked Self-Moderated in the Additional Options, I'm guessing now that it means that any person who posts on a thread can delete their own post, whereas, if I didn't click that option, as the thread-starter, I would have been able to remove any post on the thread, correct?

I'm sure I clicked the Self-Moderated option but I've been wondering why I've been unable to see any option to delete anyone's post.

You can only delete post of others if you create a self moderated thread. The users can delete their own post from both a self moderated and non self moderated thread by you.

Quote
I'm assuming I made a mistake, and now my question is, is it possible delete the thread I already started so I can start a new one where I can delete anyone's post? In order to do that, I should leave the Self-Moderated option UN-checked, correct?
You can not delete a thread that you started. The best you can do is, remove the contents from that thread and then report the thread to the moderator telling them to delete this thread as it is a mistake.

Good day guys.
Have you got the BTC? I see there is a tx: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/ef0e8d08dbef034a32cfcfa8d60e04a5dac9aafa1ca42839a582ed94522f45ba

Please confirm that this was sent from Traderpolo212.

If this is not from him then I will suggest to create a flag against the user.

Dear Simon,

Detailed explanation of your case was sent to you via email and PM. There you can find all the details.

Summarizing: at OneHash all of football bets are settled on the final outcome of the game (incl. possible extra time or penalties). If there is an option that event will finish with a draw, then at OneHash you have a draw option to bet. And on the contrary: if the game will end up with a winning and losing side, then there is no draw option at our betting platform.

In 99.9 percent of cases there is a reflection of reality. In your particular case there was a tournament bug on our side, not a scam.

We would like to emphasize all of you guys that our team will best efforts that similar cases won't happen again in the future. You have our word!

Okay so, This is what my understanding:

In a play off match where the regular 90 minutes end with 0 - 0 draw but the winner was decided by penalty then you settle the bet based on the penalty result.

In a regular match where say in EPL, the result ends with 0 - 0 then the winning bet outcome will be draw since there are no extra time and/or penalty.

But question remains, do you provide draw market in a play off match where the match can go for extra time and/or penalty?

Of course we provide those kind of features. First example?

Today's game at Copa America between Brazil and Paraguay. You can choose a winning side in main betting option, but you can choose a draw option in additional bets as well.

Previous events? In Champions League Final you had draw market, in all of this season's Champions League play-off games as well. The same goes with last season of Europa League.

At OneHash there is a lot of tournaments in which you can choose a draw in play-off games. Check for yourself in our offer.

We are talking about football as I have no idea about other sports like basketball or rugby. Not sure if they have draw and this kind.

So, in that case (football/soccer) isn't it unnecessary and very misleading for the customers (without knowing the actual rule customer can pick draw) since the draw market will never be a winner but a loser always?

Am I missing something (I hope I do)?

Cheers,

Guys, Sri Lanka vs South Africa. I prefer South Africa to win. Good performance against England does not mean that Sri Lanka is back. They already lost their 1st wicket however Fernando and Kusal Perera is working to recover the inning.

Let's see how far they go.

On a side note, India just trashed WI yesterday LOL. I was hoping just to take 26 more runs so that I get 2 points :-P
Never happened :-D
7292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Bitcoin Transactions for 48 hours already!!! on: June 28, 2019, 09:52:56 AM
You just got unlucky!
Really really unlucky!!

Twice unlucky.
The recommended fee has dropped less than 1h ago to 12 satoshi/byte and 1-2 new blocks would have probably gotten his transaction.
Now another wave is on and the recommended fee is 122 sat/byte.
I got luck. I had a tx of 20 sat/Byte hanging from last two day and this deep in the graph just picked my tx :-)

I wanted to send the BTC in an exchange and when I saw the regular fee goes over $4 I thought fu*k it. So I edited it to 20 Sat/Byte leaving it to my luck.

Anyway, I would suggest OP just to wait unless you have urgency for this tx.

After Indian batting my reaction kinda like that the score isn't decent enough in front of the WI batting line up. But sudden two down make this target bit hard. I hope the W. Indies chase this down as they need to bounce back.
And I hope it does not happen LOL
I do not want to lose 2 points today :-P

Well seriously I do not think this WI team has the strength to play in the semi.

India is bowling well especially Shami. He just got Hope and on a sudden WI are two down.

The match is in India's favor although it's too early to say.

You must had read the rules i guess, which clearly says all 1X2 bets are settled on final outcomes, i.e after ET and penalties.
Yes it does but the question remains, why is the draw market?

The draw market make sense when in a match there will be no extra time/penalties but in a match where there are extra time/penalties, how are they going to settle a regular time draw event since the market (draw market) was there.

I am really interested to read the input from OneHash.

I do not work with OneHash except the signature campaign they have launched three weeks ago. I am just another forum member and nothing more. Anyone in the forum can wear a signature from any company or business.

25 runs lol
I expected 20 but 16 is not bad considering Dhoni is not in his best form. I wanted him to start hitting big shots in the 49th over and get a score of 275-280 but Shami getting out was a turning point. Glad he did not take 1s else we would have a score of 260 max.

Why is Jadeja not playing?

I think in recent time Dhoni scored 25+ runs in two match. I can not remember the exact number and the match. That is why I was expecting another one from him :-P

Not sure about Jadeja.
