782  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam problem on: October 20, 2015, 07:11:30 PM
i've get a loan and repaid it, now i have C rating account and can't get any loans.
Profile completeness 58%???
Do you have a suggestion for P2P bitcoin lending?

There is BitcoinLendingClub also known as Loanbase now and there is also Bitfinex.com : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=229438.0
Note that all of the websites require some kind of verification for few documents to make sure people don't scam others .

This is good advice, however, it should be pointed out that, as far as i know, BTCJam is the biggest with the most investors.
I heared stories about the fact that most loans on the other P2P lending communities go unfunded...
783  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Altcoinhosting's free image hosting on: October 20, 2015, 07:08:06 PM
This is very nice and honestly load a lot faster than the other free image hosting I was using but lately the speed of it has slow down and just about time I was looking for an alternative and now I stumble upon your free hosting which I will be using it from now on Smiley ... by the way I could help with the designing part in case you will be looking for some.

Best regards
~SFR~

Thanks for the kind words Smiley

I aimed to create a script that was fast enough, and that could easily be fixed if there ever is a performance issue.

The script is currently running on my default LAMP stack, on my dedicated server where several of my other websites are currently hosted. The server only has 1 scsi disk and runs about 10 Vhosts... If the performance ever declines, i can divide the website in it's basic components, and run each component on its own server... Also, i could host the images on a ramnode VPS  (they have super fast disks, with their SSD cached raid 10 setup) and even setup a round-robin structure with cloudflare caching and nginx webservers...

This was just to show that this website has potential to grow, if it needs to Wink

About your offer to help me with a design: that would be great Smiley
At the moment, the site is running without ads, so i don't really have a budget ATM. As soon as i'm out of the bèta-phase, i was thinking about using a-ads as an advertising network, so by that time, i might have some BTC to pay you  Grin
784  Economy / Services / Re: Post a video on website and earn 0.001btc on: October 20, 2015, 01:13:28 PM
Guys, please read 3 posts higher:

No videos should be uploaded at this moment as i need to see how well the site has been, as i have not checked it since i traveled..

This was the last post the OP made in this thread... I doubt you'll be payed for your uploads
785  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Altcoinhosting's free image hosting on: October 20, 2015, 01:11:07 PM
Any limitations on the images you're hosting?

And thanks by the way for helping the community.
Looking good on your template Wink

Regards,
JM Erestain

Not really. You can upload huge pictures, my script will resize them into 1024*x, 800*x and 100*x automatically.
The images can be gif, jpg, bmp or png, they will automatically be converted into jpg

The only thing i don't allow is illegal porn (involving underaged persons, animals,...).

Thanks for the feedback Smiley

Ohh, so this is simply for the avatars?

Not really,
You can use it for any image... My script will generate a cut and paste code which you can use to paste directly into a post (like the demo in the OP). If you click the thumbnail, there is a link to the bigger image, and if you click on the bigger image => it links to the "fullsized" image (unless the fullsized image was wider than 1024px, in that case it was resized)
You're also free to use it for avatar hosting

787  Bitcoin / Project Development / Altcoinhosting's free image hosting on: October 20, 2015, 10:54:50 AM
Because i don't like many of the other free image hosts (slow, and offline for a lot of time), i've written my own free image hosting script...

It's currently in public beta, free and anonymous Smiley
This means the site is open, and can be used by anybody... There is, however, a small chance of bugs and/or missing features

During the bèta, i probably won't put any real adds over/under the hosted images Wink

Demo:

url:
http://www.altcoinhosting.com

This is, for now, also the official feature request and support thread...
So if you'd like some new features, or found a bug, post on this thread to get some support!
788  Economy / Lending / Re: The Ledger, listing open and defaulted loans. [Updated at least once every 24h] on: October 20, 2015, 07:15:56 AM
first 6 loans in the ledger is overdue, including 1 from a lender  Grin

Code:
bikeBoy	        whywefight	0.02BTC (0.022BTC)	Bitgold	16/10/2015	Reference	Active
ruggedman_dan redsn0w 0.6BTC (0.66BTC) none 17/10/2015 Reference Active
Argwai96 zazarab 0.6 BTC (0.69 BTC) 2000 Shift 18/10/2015 Reference Active
birdcat90 Laosai 0.05BTC none 19/10/2015 Reference Active
letyouearn kostya.ash 0.1BTC (0.11BTC) none 19/10/2015 Reference Active

is there something like a written rule on how or when a loan is considered default and what are the actions needs to be taken by the lender before a loan is considered default?

Personally, i give a borrower an extra 24 hours after his loan should have been repayed... Just to compensate for the timezone difference and unforseen circumstances... 24 hours after the repayment date, i consider the loan defaulted.
789  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Crypto-Copyright.com - Decentralised Proof of Ownership on: October 19, 2015, 01:16:26 PM
I really like the setup of this system... I really like the fact that even if your company disappears, i'll still be able to proof ownership of any digital work i've done...

I'll consider using your service the next time i write a script for which the buyer doesn't buy all rights (so he doesn't have the right to redistribute my work)...

790  Economy / Services / Re: wiu.co - Shorten your links and earn USD or convert it to BTC! [BETA] on: October 19, 2015, 11:21:48 AM
@OP how long does the verification email take to arrive? I registered using a fake email, well no result, but then I tried it with my personal email address but still the verification email hasn't come. Could you check with the admin?

For me, it arrived instantly, but it did end up in my spam-folder (some settings of the mailserver might be improved)
791  Economy / Securities / Re: Have an arbitrage opporunity. Looking for investor. on: October 19, 2015, 10:58:59 AM
Edit:

1 )You invest by yourself - Only pay me a fee

2) I think you need not less than 5-10BTC for having a good profit

I don't think you'll be able to attract investors this way... Look at it from our perspective: you're asking for a $1300+ investment from a newbie account, without offering any assurance for the investors...

I don't know what you're aiming at, but if you can work a trusted escrow into your scheme, you might have better luck Smiley

Sorry, you don't understand: If you are interested, i tell you how to realize this arbitrage and then, after you make your profit,  you pay me a fee. I don't manage any found or account. REPEAT: I only say you where and how to realize this arbitrage.

Oh, i see now...

This does sound a lot better... I would suggest you put this in the OP, you'll have a bigger chance of getting some business done Smiley

A couple remarks:

- When i signed up, the popup window was hanging
- I know, you'll only convert the balance into BTC when we ask you, but i would suggest you add a BTC payment option in the gui when you're planning on offering BTC payouts

For the rest, it looks clean... So that's a big plus Smiley
794  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What mining asic is profitable in my country? on: October 19, 2015, 06:52:56 AM
Hi guys i just want to know if mining is profitable in my country.. My electricity cost is 0.53$ what do you think what asic is good to be profitable?

The rest of the guys are totally right... i have 0.27€/kwh, and i'm mining at a loss (i'm mining just for fun with very old HW).

I wouldn't recommend cloudmining tough... There are only a handfull of companies i would trust, but the amount of coins you make is so low it's hardly worth it...

What hardware are you running still?  I have to give you some dedication points for still mining at that rate.

That electricity price is rediclous.

Like i said, really old one Wink
I'm running 2 antminer U2's and one gridseed gc3355.

for sha256, i'm running at about 3Ghz, and about 350k scrypt (i know i can actually use the gridseed for dual mining, but i'm actually using an old PSU that isn't suitable for the power draw the dual mining would cause)...

It's just for fun, i'm actually just burning a bit of electricity, finding some shares and generating almost no satoshi's (i could actually make a lot more by spending 15 minutes/day on faucets)

796  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Doge faucet ? No, thanks on: October 17, 2015, 09:21:49 AM
I write this topic for all doge (but already other crypto) faucet user.

In the last month, i use only btc faucet with minimum rewards, 1000 satoshi for claim (no problem if claim is any hour or any day, the essencial is 1000 satoshi for captcha).

Now, dogecoin is value 47 satoshi and i don't have see a dogefaucet with minimum rewards 20 satoshi. Why ?
why all doge faucet have minimum reward very low?

Freedogecoin has an hourly clail of 10+ doge... Its reasonable.
797  Economy / Services / Re: 1,000 guaranteed real, human visitors to your site for BTC 0.003 on: October 16, 2015, 12:11:35 PM
Two small questions:
1) is there an adult niche?
2) i know it's a very small amount you're charging, but is there a vouch copy or an escrow?
The answer to your first question is in the announcement thread

Note: The website must not contain ****ographic, racist, discriminating, vulgar, illegal, or other adult materials of any kind.

 Embarrassed Missed that part... Sorry...
