Sportsbook.io rating and review.

Dude, put some respect on the name, come on, it’s www.sportsbet.io not sportsbook.io, I’ve played there for years & never had to submit full KYC. I’m just a regular gambler though, I don’t do anything suspicious that would make them suspect money laundering.

Every sportsbook has to protect themselves from collusion, sportsbet.io is no different.

sportsbet.io have a price boost that you can utilise when you place a bet & this actually gives you better margins than all other books.

I don’t feel a C rating is fair really, they’re better than that in my opinion.

Here’s a little something you might find interesting, an AMA with the CEO, something no other rival sportsbook does. He’s a great guy, spending time interacting with genuine sportsbet.io gamblers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnWcVEzFA2k

Thanks for the correction. I see that the video is almost 2 hours. I'll check back in at the forum a little later and will watch the video within a couple of days. I know that there is a one time price boost per day. Do you know the maximum amount that can be wagered or how much the difference is between the normal line and the boosted price?

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There was an exception made for Sportsbet. Because of multiple poster requests and the fact that Sportsbet can keep balances in BTC, a rating was put up.

I listened to part of the video and it's good. Sportsbet is very good with the community and advertising. The problem is with their lines being unbeatable, the confiscations of money without proof as well as not turning over any information asked for pertaining to the $18k confiscation. This makes me very uncomfortable playing there and I wouldn't recommend the book to anyone.

Sportsbet.io rating and review.

Opened: 2016
License: Curacao 1668/JAZ sub-license.
Currencies: Crypto and Fiat.
Banned countries: USA, UK, Australia, Estonia, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Afghanistan, Korea, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, Trinidad and Tobago, Yemen.

Sportsbet is a big book with sponsorships of major soccer clubs. There are many betting options both pregame and live. Sportsbet is very popular here at bitcointalk.

The betting margins at Sportsbet are high. You won't find the best line on either side. There have been many complaints against Sportsbet but that comes with the territory of any good sized sportsbook. Most of the time that comes from disgruntled players but there may have been times where Sportsbet was incorrect. Many complaints have been posted where it was a he said, she said situation. A sportsbook needs to have solid proof of any infractions claimed. There are times when Sportsbet has provided no proof which makes it difficult to determine right or wrong. Sportsbet has confiscated both deposits and winnings. At other times they have just confiscated deposits. KYC has been asked for before these confiscations. Playing from a banned country will lead to a confiscation.

There are some other worrisome things concerning Sportsbet. It's a normal practice to require a one time rollover on deposits but Sportsbet has a rule of a 5x rollover if they suspect money laundering. If an account is inactive for 3 months, Sportsbet will send out a letter informing the player. One month after the letter, Sportsbet can charge a fee of 15% per month fee for administrative costs. In one section it states that Sportsbet may confiscate the balance after 180 days of inactivity. In another section it states one year. I don't know if the rules above have been invoked.

For the purposes of ratings, "A" and "B" books are recommended. There normally isn't any problems playing at a "C" book. "D" and "F" books should be avoided at all costs.

Sportsbet opens with a rating of "C".

^  But isn’t Sportsbet really a crypto book?  I mean if you make a BTC deposit at Sportsbet it accounts your deposit denominated in BTC, unlike fiat sports betting sites.  Fiat books like 5Dimes or Pinnacle convert your BTC and accounts for them to USD.

I can understand your point. Let me mull this over for a bit. Although Sportsbet advertises heavily, their rating wouldn't be very high because their margins are so high and they require KYC.

For those playing at sportsbet, how long do withdrawals take?

A rating and review of Sportsbet will be listed in a couple of weeks. If you are using Sportsbet, it would be appreciated if a review is posted.

I don’t see Sportsbet.io around.  It could be at least be rated a ‘C’ itt.  IMHO.  They’ve been making huge moves in terms of marketing and promotion outside the confines of BCT.  Stake is another one doing huge move and should at least be a ‘B’.  IMHO.

FJ deserves to rank up a notch too.

You make some good points. As far as Sportsbet, they are left off because they accept fiat. Also, Stake just got a recent upgrade so that one will be left alone for a tad longer.

Playbtr upgraded from B+ to A-.
Fortunejack upgraded from C- to C.

Hello to all

based on the most recent experience, the betting company BETJA withdrew money from the account for no reason and blocked my account. Further communication is disabled because they do not have a support system. probably because they are scammers, so take care from this bookmaker. they are not professional
Thanks for the post zlatiborac. Betja.com is going to open with a rating of "F".

EURO 2020 concludes in less than one week. It's best to keep your coins in top books at this time.

Add new book Bitgame.com to "NR".

You can add Betja and Betop on the not rated list for now since they're new.

Also someone mentioned Betbit is back online and after their past issue it's probably best to retain their rating at F until they clear things out.

Thanks ralle. Betja.com and Betop.gg added to "NR". Betbit.com reinstated to "F". If anyone plays at the new books, please post a review.

Wolfbet just launched their sportsbook. Odds are a bit juiced but hopefully they'll improve it later on.

With EURO 2020 kicking off in less than 12hours here's a small list of EURO promotions for those looking to get more value out of their bets.

Bitsler's first goal insurance (moneyback if your team scores the first goal and ends up losing the match)

Stake's early goal payout (get paid as a winner if your team scores the first goal within 15mins)

Stake's EURO bundle (you get bonuses for placing bets on outright markets)

Fortunejack's EURO free spins (for every $1 bet you get 2 free spins up to 150 spins max no rollovers)

ralle- thanks for bringing this over. Wolf.bet will be added to the list under NR (not rated).

This warning is given during all major events. It's best to keep your money in top books until some payouts have been made after EURO 2020. When a crooked sportsbook goes under, they do it after a major event.

813  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: June 10, 2021, 05:09:19 AM
You have a nice site. One thing we do disagree somewhat is KYC. I don't think that KYC requirements determine the quality of a book. A book's payout history is most important. The top books have a great payout history. Books that are heavy handed in KYC are downgraded here.
I think they do because many gamblers prefer to remain anonymous and if the casino requires them to undergo KYC, they lose their privacy and they can no longer be considered anonymous players. It's also dangerous to give away your sensitive data that will end up being stored on some servers somewhere because of the possibility of those records being hacked or sold one day.

Therefore, if we are comparing two casinos with equal payout history, I would consider the one that doesn't require KYC as the better choice.
I'd agree 100% with this post.
Decentralized market and things correlated to it wouldnt really become famous if not because of that anonymity that we are seeking off.
Everyone doesnt really like to give off their personal details but there are instances on where you dont have any choice but to comply and since
you are badly likes to play on a particular site then you wouldnt mind much or make it as an issue but those situations mentioned above \
are really like to happen and this is why undergoing KYC is never been appealing in crypto space and also we do have several choices as of this moment.
Nothing good comes out of giving out all your information. I don't see any advantage that Sportsbet has over the top bitcoin books that warrant an exception to be made.
814  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: June 09, 2021, 08:07:19 PM
I also think sportsbet should be here. They accept FIAT, but they are largerly crypto sportsbook.

Almost all books now accept crypto-currencies and it's the number one deposit and withdrawal method for many. Sportsbet has a high presence here and is very popular but is dangerous to make exceptions to thread rules. There are too many books in the same class as Sportsbet.

815  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: June 09, 2021, 05:42:48 PM
Posters are free to post whatever they want as long as it's not repetitive. All opinions matter since this is a players thread and all feedback is appreciated.

It's not just this thread, but all rating guides here at bitcointalk rate Nitrogen and Betcoin very high.
Well, when people do not write to you anymore about their experiences, and when they do not think that you care about what we say, and when they actually do come in here and many people say that nitrogensports should not be at the top and sportsbet.io should be listed here, and when you ignore them, do you know what you will get? You will get a lot of people who will keep not helping you and ignoring your list.

I mean after all isn't this suppose to be something we collectively do? Sure you are at the top that is no doubt but what we say supposedly has a weight as well, but looking at how you respond to everyone you are basically saying "this is how I rank them and I do not care what you think" so then why would we actually try to say something about it?

I personally believe that sportsbet should be in there, sure not make it A ranked but it is at least B ranked, or hell C ranked but ranked, and I believe nitrogen has been C+ at best for at least a year now. If you ignore that, why would I come back again and again?

Posters here shaped this thread and have been the cause for many rating changes. It is a collaboration. There are many great posters such as Ralle. No one is ignored as this is our thread, the posters thread. People aren't going to be in 100% agreement with the ratings. This is why poster input is needed. We want to read opinions from all whether they agree or disagree with the ratings here.

The ratings have drastically changed throughout the years. Anonibet was once considered the top book. Nitrogen is now on top and they have improved over the years. The latest improvement was with live betting.

816  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: June 09, 2021, 01:39:28 AM
It's good that you are putting 1xbit in D for being high risk, one question though. What does the + and the - was for at the end of each letter, does the + mean that they are going to get out of the rank if they can prove it or the other way around?

The plus/minus is just part of the hierarchy. A+ is better than an A. And an A is better than A-.
817  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: June 09, 2021, 01:36:34 AM
I can fully understand your thoughts of Sportsbet being a bitcoin book. At the same time, most books are bitcoin books. 90% of the transactions with Bookmaker are crypto transactions. Bookmaker is still considered to be a fiat book.

The trust feedback is read for all the books rated. No book is perfect and big books will have complaints. There are 3 other guides here at BCT that rate sportsbooks. All of the guides rate Nitrogensports as the top book. This helps me to feel comfortable with rating Nitrogen as the top book.

Other ratings guides at BCT:

This isn't a review of Sportsbet, since fiat books aren't rated here and Sportsbet may be a good book, but one of the guides above has Sportsbet rated last, another 4th and the other not rated. I haven't tested Sportsbet for years and haven't kept up to date with Sportsbet so I have no personal opinion.

It's incredibly impressive how you've managed to curate this thread consistently for nearly SEVEN YEARS, but I do think your rankings are in need of a little adjusting. To be quite honest, I personally wouldn't play at most of the sportsbooks listed in your rankings, nor would I recommend them to visitors at my website.

Like another poster has said here already, those other guides are very out-of-date and should not be used as a reference/guide by anyone looking for a reputable crypto sportsbook. But like you mentioned in a previous comment, it's incredibly hard to find a reputable, non-fiat sportsbooks these days! Especially ones that don't require KYC!

You have a nice site. One thing we do disagree somewhat is KYC. I don't think that KYC requirements determine the quality of a book. A book's payout history is most important. The top books have a great payout history. Books that are heavy handed in KYC are downgraded here.

Please post crypto books, that don't accept fiat, that are omitted from the list.
The reason why you are not getting the same participation from us as you used to is the fact that you no longer care about what people think or believe in anymore. I mean let's be honest, nobody in the crypto world (or at least bitcointalk if you consider it is just us here) thinks nitrogen bet is a+ or nobody believes betcoin.ag is A neither, they are at best C level places, all because they have been around for a very long period of time.

The places that I am not going to name here so you won't delete are the places people prefer, right now the top 2 includes one place that is not even in this list because they have a fiat acceptance and one of them is in your list but under C rated, and those are the biggest ones that gets wagered.

So, if the most wagered places are either not even listed or at C level for you, and places people haven't even messaged in the topics for years are getting a ratings, how do you imagine people could still take you seriously and help you? You will just ignore them just like how you will ignore me.

I don't think that I've ever deleted anything in this thread. Posters are free to post whatever they want as long as it's not repetitive. All opinions matter since this is a players thread and all feedback is appreciated.

I was going to ask is the NitrogenSports safe? I think I've seen that they have a negative trust in the forum and I still wonder why they're on the first place. Still this is a good list of sportsbooks most of the sportsbooks I'm using is on the "C" Rated categories. I think I saw the reason why, the ratings were based on the time of their service well it might give a different view from new comers.
Nitrogensports is very safe as well as their sister book Nitrobetting. There are 3 other rating's guides here at BCT and all of them have Nitrogen rated as their top book. Betcoin is rated #2 here and if averaged, rated #2 at other guides. It helps me to feel secure in having those two books rated A.

YOU ARE A COMPLETE JOKE WITH YOUR FAKE RATINGS
