Saul Alvarez v Caleb Plant: Title unification bout set for Las Vegas in November

https://www.bbc.com/sport/boxing/58276967

I'm glad that it will finally push there's a lot of accusations on both sides, Canelo is already a great fighter but one fighter who is up for debate if he really that great and that is Plant, the fight is very important for both fighters, for Canelo to seal his being an undisputed middleweight champion and for Plant who is seeking big money and big names for a long time, I'm sure this is going to be a very interesting fight and will end in a stoppage.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 07:14:59 AM
Great things need to end sometimes for other things will also rise after that. It was a great night and congrats to Ugas, he really beat the old man this time.

I agree,  this end the boxing chapter of Manny Pacquiao he is the only and will be the eight-division world champion almost an impossible feat, he will announce his intention to run as president and this is another chapter on Manny Pacquiao's career now as a full-time politician, I hope he will also do better and his countryman sees his potential as a great leader, we'll see if he can make it in his bid as a President.

This is a screen grab from what @Kemarit has posted:

And looking at his previous fights, he seems to have this kind of abnormalities so I'm not sure if that is a tore biceps, or if he has been carrying it for years already so he has gotten used to it. I do hope that it would be than excuse after Pacquiao beat him.

That really looks unusual but if you take a look at his fight against Porter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0zZObAGZc8
you will see that he already has that deformed bicep, so it's not something that we should worry about, it's the discrepancies in skill and power that will make a big difference, Pacquiao has a lot of edges, Ugas has to come out with surprises, I like him going all out as he did in his match against Porter.
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: August 18, 2021, 11:27:23 AM
why do people still play here?

Their advertisement is scattered everywhere their new recruits come from those channels, there's no way a member of this forum will join and throw their money away, the way they treat players, I wonder why they launch a campaign here in Bitocintalk when everybody here knows they are scammers and every promoter is tagged with negative feedback.
805  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Alert:] Liyam لیام on: August 18, 2021, 04:17:06 AM
The domain is already parked which means the developer is fully aware that the site is reported or exposed this is what these developers are doing once they are caught, we should still report it to the domain registrar so they can flag the domain and delete the owner's account, so he cannot use his account to set up another scam project.
806  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If crypto is banned in my country on: August 18, 2021, 02:08:42 AM
If in future, crypto is completely banned in my country and holding, trading mining become illegal, can I go to some foreign country on the pretext of doing some job and sell my crypto once I landed in foreign land and come back in my country with all the money?
Will that be considered illegal? How can I move my money back to my country?
Can I just say that I did some business in foreign country and this is all the profit?.
Anyone has any better suggestions to dispose off my crypto holdings if such situation arises?

Going to other countries to trade your Cryptoi is a good idea but coming back with all the huge amount coming from trading is something you have to work on, check your laws and about taxation on the money that you are bringing back, you must make sure that your government will not find the money suspicious, don't go to illegal stuff read the laws of your country you did not mention the amount if it's only a small you can tell them that worked for it in other countries.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 18, 2021, 02:00:47 AM

The ultimate thing that they shouldn't even do is that they shouldn't even let the children hold gadgets that doesn't help them in their formative years because whether we don't like it or like, those formative spent on gadgets is going to retard the growth of the mind of the children.

At this point in time, we can't do that the world is in pandemic and many countries are on lockdown, so the classes are held online children are now using gadgets just to go online, and since they cannot go out to play, they have nothing to go to but their gadgets to play on their favorite gaming sites, to watch their favorite artist on Youtube, gadgets are part of growing up of kids now.

There, I left my honest review.
In case it gets "lost" here it is.

My experience with 1xbit.

I saw that they have a huge offer for sportsbetting and decided to try them.

Deposit was easy and fast.

Played there for a while until one day I couldn't log in to my account.
Opened my email and contacted them about my issue.
They replied with their generic response that I violated their ToS and they are stopping doing any business with me.
Then they allowed me to log back in.
They voided all my winning bets and then told me to withdraw the rest of my funds from the account.

This is my honest review of this betting platform.

So your story are almost the same with all of the victims here? that either they will totally banned or at least will let their Deposit funds recover but not their winning ?

wondering how they run their business in shadiest way.

they will allow you to play , either win or lose but will never let your winnings goes out instead they will take it back and will give your initial deposit and banned you permanently .

so one great thing in  their business is that surely the company will win but won't lose at any cost  Grin
This is the story of players that's been persisting on 1XBIT, people get attracted to play in 1XBIT because of the generous bonus they win big they cannot log in because of the violation and they give them a refund, they only want people who lose, they don't want winners in their gambling platform and who will want to play on a gambling site where you can only lose and if you win you will be charge of cheating, so stop uisng 1xbit and save your money, go elsewhere.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 17, 2021, 10:25:06 PM

If a player plays daily, then he has a daily adrenaline rush into the circulatory system.  This destroys the human body.

Therefore, daily gambling is harmful.

As long as the adrenaline is focus in gambling I don't think there will be a cure, the excitement of playing in a gambling venue online or offline create an adrenaline rush and this is something that makes the gambler alive, the professional can cure by giving the gambler an alternative to focusing the energy, it could be anything like playing basketball or painting there are many things to redirect the energy.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 17, 2021, 10:08:27 PM

In a surprising turn of events, the supposedly opponent of Ugas, Maidana also suffers the same eye injury as Errol.  Grin Grin So I don't know if there is really conspiracy theory here that it was all a set-up. But in any case, set-up or not, I am sure, Pacquiao will give them a very good fight to watch out for. Even if the odds are now low as bookies are now favoring Pacquiao, you can still bet on him, though the returns are not that big as compared to Pacquiao vs Spence odds.

https://www.boxingnews24.com/2021/08/fabian-maidana-suffers-similar-injury-as-errol-spence/

Even if they did not announce Maidana's eye injury the Ugas fight will continue, eye injury is very common among boxers and they can injure their eyes in a fight or in training, so let's give it a benefit of a doubt, the main focus and hype now is the coming Pacquiao and Ugas fight both fighters are excited to finish the game in their favor, I don't want to another Buster Douglas here, Manny must be careful on Ugas.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are the best cryptocurrencies for esports betting? on: August 17, 2021, 08:58:42 PM
I think for sports and e-sports betting, stable coin is preferable because the price can fluctuate sharply in just a day. Except you are a heavy x coin believer, you will have more peace of mind betting with stable coin. The problem is, of course, the fees. But nowadays, we have casinos that accept USDT on Tron/BSC.

I agree the USDT version on Binance and Tron chain probably are probably the best to use in esports betting, they are fast cheap and you are not going to lose much when there is fluctuation in the market, Stablecoins are created as a safe haven when there is a bad market condition, that is why smart contract coins have their version of Stable coin, it's a very useful coin for traders and gamblers.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: August 16, 2021, 02:49:09 PM
If you have a lot of money like $20,000 do not gamble it is a bad combination. If you do not have a lot of money then do not gamble. Only gamble what you can afford to lose is a common saying but I would say only gamble a % of what you can afford to lose to stop you from losing all that money.

Unfortunately for a man who gambles excessively there is no small or big amount, he'll take it and promise himself that he will double it, this is the reason why those who are addict to gambling are taking loans and selling all his stuff because he believes he can get back all his losses he thinks that his winning days will come back and recover all his losses, this is a blind belief and many gamblers have it.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 16, 2021, 10:49:36 AM
We will soon see the start of the Paralympic Games.... ( 24 Aug 2021 to 5 Sept 2021 ) ...so I was thinking if it was ethical to bet on these events? Will it be disrespectful towards people with disabilities or will they want to be handled in the same manner that any other athlete wants to be handled?

Those participating in this Paralympic do not even think of the word disabilities or they are less equal to real athletes, if we think it's unethical we disrespect them because we think they are less superior to Olympic athletes that we put our bets on, so we should bet on them and let them know that we support them and we treat them equally like normal average athletes.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 15, 2021, 11:20:08 PM
If a player is particularly skilled in the arena, a quick return on investment can be achieved; there are numerous methods to earn a lot of SLP in this game, and it was recently changed to be dependent on abilities and understanding of the game. I also missed out on buying AXS and SLP, which have since skyrocketed in value, and I can't imagine how much higher they'll go. That's why I'm looking for another starting NFT game that can reach what Axie Infinity achieved so that I can easily earn money.

Cryptoblades and MyDefipet or DPET are two of the projects that look promising and DPET is still very cheap and they are still in beta but it's good to get in this early, there's still a lot of bugs and rollback happening but it's understandable for a new ambitious project, this is a project backed by a well-known company in gaming and blockchain, by next year this project will take off.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 15, 2021, 04:36:09 AM

Really far from our expectations. So it was all trash talk from Casimero that he will put Rigo to sleep at early rounds. Same old same old with Rigo. Don't know what will happen to Rigo's career after this? But for Casimero, if he wants to give a good fight with Inoue, he better improve his training. Let us see how Inoue's camp will react on this. Can Casimero get the bout from Inoue?

Rigo should retire, the paying fans don't want a fight like this, they want to see boxers engaging, if I'm a promoter Rigo is only good for supporting bouts, I hope it's the end of his career because obviously he has nothing to show anymore but running in the ring, and on Casimero what he shows is not enough to beat Inoue, but the fight should happen, because there have been so many talks and these talks should be stopped.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 14, 2021, 10:27:13 PM

1. Gambling in fact has many negative externalities. If someone gets addicted, the likelihood is much higher to be depressed. Depression is factor, which leads to high costs for the society.

2. Gambling addiction leads to economic costs because of crime actions. Other market actors have to increase their security standards, which means higher costs.

3. Many gambling addicts go as a consequence to jail. Jail means EXTREMELY high costs to society.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

It puts a high cost to the respective family of gamblers but government prefer the money coming in the gambling casinos and online casinos, the gambling industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and its taxes and contribution to creating more jobs is something that the government weighs more important than victims of excessive gambling, they can only put up rehabilitation and a strong warning to the gamblers and their families about the harm of gambling.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: August 14, 2021, 09:31:59 AM
The same actually applies to bookmakers, if you choose a bookmaker that always pays out nicely for years, but then suddenly does not pay out if it concerns a large amount, then you can also have your reservations about that as a player. Trust is important to customers in the gambling world.

They should be trustworthy even in a small amount, gambling sites should address issues as they come, and even if the issue is small because gamblers are quick to notice and will not ignore and remember their action, you are right to trust is very important and every project and gambling site should make it as their corner stone if they want to continue doing business.
818  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stay away from greedy free Bitcoin offer through spam mail. on: August 13, 2021, 11:21:15 AM
Two things do not open emails coming from spam even if the title is very interesting, they are tempting you to open their emails, another one do not believe in free Bitcoin, even on faucets you have to do certain tasks and this is not 2010 where you can claim one free Bitcoin, the target here are newbies and even if it landed in your primary folder, just hit spam so Gmail will mark it spam.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 12, 2021, 03:21:32 PM
Does Manny badly needed money to accept this fight? It's already a pity that he had to fight at his age like what Floyd once said but it's still acceptable since he's facing Spence. I don't see any reason why he had to do this now that he's facing someone not as huge or at least known.

No, he is not in fact in his province he is very generous and giving people money not only money but materials to build a house, he is one of the richest lawmakers in the Philippines he just wants to continue his legacy, he is like all the other boxers the mind surrenders when the body cannot keep up anymore, he still believes that he is still strong and he wants to amaze the boxing world.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 12, 2021, 09:19:34 AM
All the three you've mentioned are good NFT and play to earn projects, DPET is in the development stage, you have to spend first and rely on their roadmap for projection of your income, it's a gamble because you are putting out the money in the hope that all the features that they are going to come out will yield you profit, they are Cryptocurrency based projects and we all know how volatile the market is, so only invest what you can afford to lose because this is also considered a gamble.
