LETS GIVE THEM BLOCKCHAIN SECURITY CORDENS, ON A WEB RING OF STEEL @ LEVELS, ANY BREACH CLOSES ALL CORDENS

I completely baffled as what you are trying to say here.

Why teachers? What do they need to involved themselves in blockchain security?

If your point is to arm them with knowledge about cryptos or blockchain in general then I'm with you. And there are a lot of universities now offering blockchain courses:

https://news.coinify.com/10-universities-blockchain-courses/

https://www.the74million.org/article/chain-of-schools-the-bitcoin-blockchain-revolution-comes-to-campus-but-are-colleges-ready/

This is really a great opportunity for students to learn the beauty of crypto and blockchain. And one day we will see a new bread of intellectuals, pushing and applying blockchain in every society.
8282  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says being rich is determined by chance rather than intelligence or talent on: March 04, 2018, 03:03:10 AM
most of the people who have become rich by chance have once again become poor, see the cases of people winning the lottery, see the cases of singers, boxers and many famous who have become rich by chance, they become poor again. one and the other is saved because there are good managers who manage their money.

Now people who start a business and make this business something well spent and become rich, these people do not become poor so easily. That's why I believe in hard work as a way to achieve success and become wealthy.

Yes. One factor that can be attributed to a person success is hard work and that is no secret. How many people we has seen become successful not by chance but by everyday grinding like the wealthy Chinese businessman? Of course there some kind of luck, but if you don't have that much in your body so you better working hard to achieved your goals in your life.

I remember one shoe shine and shoe repair man about aged 30 that time at the corner of our neighborhood. I was about 10 at that time and everyday I will see him at that corner working hard everyday, rain or shine and he has a lot of customers because he really do a good job. Then later on I noticed the man not in his usual spot. And then eventually I discovered that he has already bought the place, the corner house that he used to rent. So there's no luck in there but pure perseverance and hard work and sweat.

Coinbase User Files Class Action Against Company, Claims Insider BCH Trading

Coinbase, a major US-based cryptocurrency exchange and wallet platform, faces a class action lawsuit claiming that its employees and other insiders benefited from trading on non-public information that the exchange planned to introduce Bitcoin Cash (BCH) support last December, The Recorder Law reported on Friday, March 2.

The complaint was filed by Coinbase user and Arizona citizen Jeffrey Berk, represented by two law firms, in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday, March 1.

The introduction to the class action complaint brought against Coinbase explains that it is being made:

“on behalf of all Coinbase customers who placed purchase, sale or trade orders with Coinbase… during the period of December 19, 2017 through and including December 21, 2017... and who suffered monetary loss as a result of Defendants’ wrongdoing.”

In the lawsuit, the plaintiff accuses Coinbase of “artificially inflated prices” by means of disclosing buy and sell orders moments after Coinbase launched BCH support on Dec. 19, 2017. The move may have caused the price of the cryptocurrency to soar by over 130 percent — from $1,865 on Dec. 18 it reached as high as $4,300 by Feb. 20, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Can you have insider trading action in an unregulated product? It is not clear which regulator - the SEC, CFTC or any of the other regulatory bodies would oversee crypto trading. Coinbase has also set up its internal review team to check whether there was any insider trading during the listing of Bitcoin Cash. But when there are no rules on crypto, how would you prosecute those who traded on insider information?

Agree. As fraudulent as "Insider Trading" but I don't think its applicable to crypto because is one market wherein there are no single authority to overlook everything. Not even SEC or CFTC has the power to check unless they really need to step in. However, this is good ole US of A, not China wherein the government will do everything to "protect its citizens against fraud in the crypto world. I don't know, but this lawsuit will end up nothing in my view.
8284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guess we're not out of this bear cycle yet, huh? on: March 04, 2018, 01:45:05 AM
It’s starting to look like this correction off the $11,000s could form the right shoulder of an inverse H&S. It’s still too early to say but the proportion and volume look good:

Update: We're testing the neckline now. Proportion looks perfect and the declining volume profile is typical of an inverse H&S. Now all we need is a break of the neckline:

Intraday, price is holding comfortably above the $11,200 breakdown level on the daily, so I'm expecting the H&S to confirm soon. Maybe a little shakeout first off the neckline, but bulls are in control on most time frames.

Yeah. I think for now it looks like the bulls has taken over but I will still be cautious though. That $11K-$12K barrier really is a big wall but a little shakeout is needed before making a final push to even greater levels of $15K and up.

Lets see if this current price is sustainable or the bears will out muscle the bulls one more time. Its been very tough months for us and I want to see at least some rally to bring confidence to the market.

And there are no negative or fakes news that popping, so its a good sign that the sentiments around will be somewhat positive and should be reflective of the market price.
8285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: March 03, 2018, 10:27:14 PM
No, it is not over just yet. The blockchain technology still infancy, more big companies are coming to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrency. But we need some sort of regulation especially dealing with ICO. With the the real leal framework in place, this could pave the way for wallstreet and 'mainstream' investors invest into crypto. This year 2018 will be biggest ever on cryptocurrency adoption and growth. Sit tight and HOLD.  Smiley

Lol. The FUD's wave will not stop and saying a lot of doomsday scenario here that sometimes its really very funny. We have just started and this year will surpass what we have achieved last year. And I'm not expecting that we will hit any wall. On the contrary the steam has just started again and expect the train leaving anytime soon so you guys better be on board and don't be left out.

Yes so we better be HODLing and not to panic because eventually everything will be alright.
8286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 02, 2018, 08:21:51 PM
You are lucky to be in such an advanced country, because I have bitcoin is not yet officially accepted, which is a little frustrating for me.

Sorry Philippines is not that advanced, its even considered a third world country. But you have to appreciated that they are very often regarding bitcoin and there are a lot of development in terms of friendly regulations and adoption.

It's good to hear that the Filipino people are starting to adapt cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology. This looks like a big break for them as they'll be able to fund their startups easily. Hopefully the SEC will go with the flow.

I haven't heard anything about blockchain though being adopted in the Philippines but I might be wrong. Philippines is very IT centric country and there are a lot of professionals down there so I wouldn't be surprised if blockchain has already find it course in the country. Anyways, this is really a welcoming news for all Filipinos inside and those who are working abroad.
8287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is burning unsold tokens always a good thing or should other options be taken? on: March 02, 2018, 07:54:20 PM
Burning unsold tokens in my own understanding will reduce the circulation supply and therefore the price value would rise.
There are some instances and incidents that in the past, some unsold tokens are being hacked and developers have no idea whose the responsible for the sudden token distribution from the main wallet.
Oyster PRL is burning 10M tokens from developers' wallet to reduce the maximum supply and to maximize the possibility of token price value will soon rise and every holders could benefit.

Exactly, the coins in circulation will be reduced making the price of the remaining coins skyrocketed. And that what we investors like, coins that is really good for long term hold because the price will surely increase because of its scarcity and limited supply. So i think its a good thing to do with some ICO tokens.

Also burning tokens will ensure that there will no sudden dumping because it doesn't look good at the eyes of the investors. And besides, who are going to hold the unused tokens? the dev? again this will not sit very well with investors because at the back of our minds they can suddenly dump it anytime causing the price to plummet.
8288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Received An Email From MyEtherWallet on: March 01, 2018, 11:59:18 PM
I received an email from MyEtherWallet to claim some tokens of an airdrop I joined. Hovering my mouse over the link,  I discovered it's a link to another cgi scripted site.

Interestingly you don't create MEW wallets using email addresses.

Guys be careful and be vigilant.

Good thing that you check and didn't click that phishing link, otherwise your MEW wallet will be in danger from hackers trying to steal our hard earn tokens from bounties or even airdrops.

And thanks for the warning, although I haven't received this kind of emails, I will be aware that such attempts have been used by hackers. Just bookmark MEW and keep your private key safe.

And I hope that everyone reading this should also be aware and be careful. Not just on our emails but around the web as well. Hackers are targeting us because of huge amount of money they can stole from everyone.
8289  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going on with this 11k ceiling on: March 01, 2018, 11:33:39 PM
Btc seems to run out of steam at 11k. What do you think? Is this where the whales want it

Maybe its just another resistance that we need to break through. however as per coinmarket the price is $10988. So I guess its gonna be a long day for us to see and observed if we can break this wall again and test $12K. Maybe a lot of investors are simply dumping and cashing it out because its weekends, wherein there are really serious selling because someone will not to go on a weekend get away and needed money.

I think a lot of people sell at 11k because it's a good price for the last few weeks.  Bitcoin did go up to 20k but for a very very short time.  People are taking a profit at 11k I suppose because the chances are it will drop again below that and then allow them to buy back cheaper.

Yeah, because I'm quite surprise to wake up and see the price hit $11K today. But then again those who are selling might be afraid that it will go down just like we have seen in previous weeks. We have built some of kind of momentum at $11,7K but suddenly plummeted below $10K. So now investors are getting out early and taking profits and will just re enter the market when the prices goes down again.
8290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: March 01, 2018, 10:08:02 PM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

In terms of what? Technology wise? Yes, i will have to agree with you that its really slow as we don't see any movement in bitcoin technology. There's too much bickering amount the core devs that really hamper what could have been a lot of improvement in the system. There are a lot of altcoins in which dev can make decisions decisively in terms of issues or problem that needs to be resolved ASAP.

However, there are still a lot of bitcoin enthusiast because it really bring a lot of money for us, admit it or not. That's why it still enjoy the support of the community and wider audience around the world.
8291  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-28] Marshall Islands Plans To Launch National Cryptocurrency And ICO on: March 01, 2018, 03:56:21 AM
I guess if it will really bring nothing but good for a country then it will be really advisable to launch their own government back coins. I don't know  though if this is going to be successful in the long run as I haven't seen any coins yet so far that become the next big thing in a country. Russia just started its own cryptorubble but with the burden of high taxes. If I where a crypto lover I wouldn't buy those coins but probably just invest it on a traditional stocks.

I also wanted to know that exchanges it will be traded, just like crypto Petrol by Venezuela. It is offered to non US entity or it is only available to Republic of the Marshall Islands only?
8292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: spreading of Bitcoin on: March 01, 2018, 03:29:57 AM
I am curious about bitcoin, because until today bitcoin still exist. even its value, makes bitcoin become crypto king. what is the secret behind bitcoin success ?and if spreading of bitcoin can be stopped, who is the most benefited and disadvantaged ?

It bitcoin should have been stopped, it could happened since its inception. Because initially no one has thought that it can go further today and cause many nations to ban its because according to them, its very disruptive.

But why it is still flourished today? Because its simply gain the trust and confidence of investors alike (newbies to whales), that's why its really hard to stop bitcoin now. There's so much money in the ecosystem that I don't think anyone will simply step aside even if their government is putting a hammer ban on it.

8293  Economy / Speculation / Re: A tip by Bill Gates: buy Bitcoin on: March 01, 2018, 02:36:29 AM
Bill Gates is FUDing bitcoin, just like he did with Google : he refused to buy the Google project because he thought it had no future.

And do you remember his skeptiscism about the Internet?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lskpNmUl8yQ

This means the huge BTC raise is incoming in the years to come : )

Buy a few before it gets too pricey eheh

First, it was Steve Wozniak saying that bitcoin is a scam because he lost it to someone. Lol.

The Bill Gates starts to attack bitcoin.

Coincidence?

Or are they just trying to pull the price down so that they can buy at cheap price just like we always wanted. But the thing is that this two has billions of dollars that they can burn. And a pullback will get them in a better opportunity to buy at a discount and stash it in their wallet and accumulate overtime.

But I'm pretty disappointed with Bill Gates though, how does a titan like him doesn't appreciate what bitcoin can bring to the people? I thought he is anti-poor, but attacking bitcoin doesn't look good at his image in my opinion.
8294  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: March 01, 2018, 01:40:27 AM
I work in a good company too.and i earn bitcoin here in bitcointalk and really helps me a lot to save.but i think my savings is not enough to build own business.it has a risk and must be ready in ups and down so enough money is not enough you must have more than enough.
For me i guess it is not enough to start a business with just the earnings with bitcoin. Because we are not sure if you will earn high or you'll earn low. But if you have a job and at the same time you earn with bitcoin i guess that is a good star5 for business. Because you'll be able to save while starting a business.

I guess it will be enough if you know how to save your bitcoin earnings and just hodl on it for long term. And it you think that you already profited enough to start your own business then dump it. I myself have already a business and have quit my job long time ago to focus more on my business. But with bitcoin around, and help me a lot. If gives me a lot of leeway in terms of funds.

I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?
never say bored to your work. a static job is sometimes boring but business will also be boring if you have a long time to run it, so do not choose a job. if you can run all the work it will be more profitable

Based on my experience, there are days that I don't have customers so the money coming is that not good. Although most of the time is really brings good profit to me. So I don't considering my business boring, I look at it as a challenge and I have to focus on it so that someday I will be successful.
8295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the rich bitcoinist? on: February 28, 2018, 06:03:09 AM
Theres alot of people that didint they know that bitcoin is our new future. I all they know that theres many people are so rich even the poor man ever can possiblity to become a richer if he know how to work that bitcoin maybe the bitcoin will arise against to the people who needy some materials or anything that we needed... Shocked

Anything is possible. Even if you are not into crypto. But you need to work your ass off before enjoying it. But the thing though with crypto is that if you are a long term holder, you don't need that much effort though, just mental toughness not to dump specially if the price is going down.

It's hard to spot who are the rich bitcoinist because it's all anonymous and anonymous means untrackable unless they want to announce their name.

Why you need to spot them? I don't think that someone will just spill the beans and tell the world that they have millions of bitcoin. Its now a high risk, specially there has been reports that bitcoin holders now are being hold up at gun point and force to give up their private keys and their bitcoins stolen.
8296  Economy / Marketplace / Re: market now on: February 28, 2018, 05:00:48 AM
I think Bitcoin market growing gradually. But anybody can not say 100% it will UP or Down.

Unless you have super human powers to see the future, then yes its obvious that no own can predict it 100% with accuracy.

the market is always moving and tends to be unstable, but for people who are used to seeing such circumstances is normal, that is where we must take advantage of price changes as an opportunity to earn profits, but you will risk big enough if not careful in making decisions , as well as researching before deciding to buy and make sure you buy at a fairly low price

If you are a newbie, you will be affected by how the price moves downtrend, uptrend sideways. And the more they witness it the more they should understand that it how it was built to. And there can be so much opportunity a long the way, but you have to be careful and use common sense before you really shell out your hard earn money for it. Because there's a big chance that you will lose it or there is a chance that you can make a significant financial gains.
8297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin after Chinese holiday on: February 28, 2018, 04:01:04 AM
For the past few weeks there has been speculations that Bitcoin will rise and face the uptrend after Chinese holiday and now the holiday is over, will bitcoin start going up and up again?
Yes I think so, but it is not a kind of sudden appearance, maybe after a couple of weeks or month but at least it will will decrease again with same value from the past. And surely it can recover the past value when it was at the price of 19k. And I believe that the growth of the community for those interested to buy will become fast for such situation written by the OP is quite not new for many that whenever Chinese day bitcoin is alt the dump stage.

Well what we are seeing might be attributed to the end of Chinese New Year. Because as you have said, in the last few weeks everyone is expecting that at end of the Lunar New Year, our Chinese friends will flock the market again. And lately though there was a downtrend that bottom bitcoin < $10K.

But right now it suddenly pick up and almost touching $11K. So for me it has something to do with the Chinese New Year. But the main question is if this sustainable or just a short term effect and we might see bitcoin going on another slide?

8299  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen on: February 25, 2018, 11:32:26 PM
I just want to know how much faith do you guys have in bitcoin...

If bitcoin drops bellow $1000, do you think it will still recover someday?

I don't think that bitcoin could possible drop to $1K levels because we have someone to back us up, that is Japan.

Plus, there are a lot of investors, big and small, financial institutions that has so much at stake and I don't think that they will simply allow the price to drop to that kind of levels.

But in any cases, it goes down to even below $1K, I think it can still survived, it might take that long though, but I don't think it will simply die a natural death.
8300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Any idea for poor people? on: February 25, 2018, 11:07:33 PM
I would like to quote Jack Ma about the poor people around the world:

Quote
“The worst people to serve are the Poor people. Give them free, they think it’s a trap. Tell them it’s a small investment, they’ll say can’t earn much. Tell them to come in big, they’ll say no money. Tell them try new things, they’ll say no experience. Tell them it’s traditional business, they’ll say hard to do. Tell them it’s a new business model, they’ll say it’s MLM. Tell them to run a shop, they’ll say no freedom. Tell them run new business, they’ll say no expertise. They do have somethings in common: They love to ask google, listen to friends who are as hopeless as them, they think more than an university professor and do less than a blind man."

I 100% agree with Jack Ma and I'm sure that it very applicable to this market as well. I also don't want to be rude here, but as so far as interacting with less fortunate, I have never seen anyone who has the mindset to even try to alleviate their life eventhough you have given them a lot of opportunities. They will have thousand of excuses on their body. So I don't think that exposing  them to digital world would do any better, in fact they will resist it at any cost.
