841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 06, 2023, 04:09:02 PM
Probably won't. In the first place, I am not into Chess and other board games. Second is, not to conclude but is it not something to be easily manipulated regarding results? Unlike with fighting games wherein fighters would need to be serious of what they are doing because they could endanger their lives, I cannot see anything of a downside to a chess player if he'd manipulate resulta regardless of who'd win. But I won't be trying to set a boundary against those who are into this kind of 'sport'. If it is profitable, then ofcourse there will be people to admire its idea.  But in my end, I'd probably stay with the sports which I enjoy watching to atleast disregard match fixations.
I also have the same doubt. I used to play chess during my high school and college days so I know how the game works so I also believe that it could easily be manipulated which is a huge risk for us bettors. Unlike other sports games, chess is a mind game and we couldn't predict what's on the players' minds so it's hard to make our analysis.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 06, 2023, 03:52:54 PM
I'm only familiar with a few international sports games so I don't want to take too much risk on sports betting. As much as I want to, I'm still not confident with my knowledge about some sports games so I'm still in the process of learning so most of the time, I just bet on casino games. Sports betting for me is more entertaining and thrilling because we could enjoy watching the whole game before getting the result, that's the reason why I'm intrrested in knowing other sports games.
843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 05, 2023, 06:54:26 PM
signals are always such bullshit, most of the time, when their signal is right they are just stating the obvious, now these signals are showing its true colour that is they never correct from very beginning, these signals maker just don't have any idea about the future prices, they are just random guessing and if one of them is right they'd call themselves genius.
It is very difficult to predict the direction that the bullish or bearish market path will take, so yes, most or most of these signals are bullshit, just guesses and expectations not based on any basis or on current market conditions resulting from people who do not have sufficient experience in the technical analysis only their purpose is to bring followers for their social accounts and targeting beginners in order to pay monthly money as a subscription to their paid signals channels, and in the end, the beginners get wrong and incorrect signals and lose their capital, so every person who wants to make gains must do his own research and analysis and not rely on the advice and signals of others, as the investment is a personal decision.

I've tried relying on trading signals before and I could say that they aren't worth our money because their predictions are not reliable. I just made wrong decisions because of their wrong predictions and just had bad losses before. For me, it will be better to have our own knowledge of technical analysis rather than relying on them. They will just waste our time, trust, and funds.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 05, 2023, 06:16:34 PM
my biggest obstacle is to spend money foolishly - and to trust others blindly and to be ready to do anything even if it costs my sweat and blood
I was foooled by so many and I was looted by so many - I love to live alone now.
Don't be easy to trust anyone especially if your money is involved with it. People, friends or peers are there during your best days of your life but they'll not be there or only the real ones will be there when on your toughest days.

There are a lot of businessmen who own businesses who are hiring a financial adviser because they can't manage their money well. It doesn't mean you have businesses you can now manage well. As most others have stated, if you have enough money, you will begin to spend it on things you don't need. We don't know what his or her background is, but if he or she doesn't know how to manage money, he or she should seek help from others so that they can avoid unnecessary expenses and don't harm their own business.
These days, these financial advisers are just going to suck the money of these businessmen. Look at the successful businessmen, they're the ones handling their finances and they don't want someone to hold it for them.

I believe that all businessmen knows how to handle their money and businesses, I mean the successful ones. But it's probably that there's a point of their lives that they really asked for a help when they're not yet financially literate and hands-on in the past.

Before putting up a business, it's so important that the owner is fully equipped with knowledge on how to run his business. He can as for a business adviser's help but he shouldn't be relying on them all the time because he should be the one deciding his own business. He should know how to manage his finances in the first place and deal with the challenges that his business might face. Relying everything on business advisers won't be a wise idea.
845  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 05, 2023, 05:59:55 PM
Observe the other casinos offering rewards and by that, you can make come up with an idea of what the lacks bonuses that don't have yet and modify those to become better so the gamblers make it into your casino, for the active gambler it is ideal to have the top wagers or the top players with a lot of wins and losses as a consolation prize of playing too and spending a lot of money, next is there's a community vote that allowing the chat box vote for their best gambler they idolize and after that, you can have a top in the voting makes a free spin.

Some casinos create a weekly and monthly competition for the highest wagers and most active players and reward them with either free spins or good amount o crypto. It makes betting more exciting, especially for high rollers and bettors. They also reward free spins for players who stay active on their chat community which could keep the interactions on their chat box more alive. You can visit reputable casinos to get more ideas.
846  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 05, 2023, 05:34:14 PM
on this issue of good casinos to be used from what I could see the new casinos have been the most dangerous not to be used, that's because many scammers started to see the creation of casinos to rob people as a gold mine that they didn't they will get caught after robbing people, and knowing that people are greedy these scammers are giving high bonuses to attract people and then put TOS in which favor them

that way scammers make people deposit, play, and lose money but when people win a lot of money they close the person's account and claim that they person had many accounts or that he was entering the casino of a country that is in the list of restricted countries

Scammers are now using casinos as another way to scam and fool people so we can't blame players who are avoiding newly built casinos. There were scamming issues before who took huge funds from players. That's the reason why players nowadays prefer trusting old and well-established casinos to get rid of being scammed. Casinos like Duelbits, Roobet, Stake, and other casinos that are being promoted here are good to trust.
847  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE IS UNFAIR AND BIASED, NOTHING BUT CLASSISM! on: January 05, 2023, 05:14:34 PM
Did you double-check if you didn't miss any of their rules to stay qualified for the bonus? I know that you feel disappointed about what happened but you also have to support your claims by providing supporting documents to prove your accudation about the said site. We all know that proof is necessary especially if you're accusing a huge casino.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 04, 2023, 05:58:07 PM
I think that people are just trading and hope that they will double their money in a seconds but actually it may not be possible because you require enough time to multiply this cash sometimes people lost money due to their mistakes and misunderstanding about trading. I will suggest that start from lower amount if you win then save your starting amount and use the remaining amount for trading so in this case it will not hard for you to get it back after losing it. Do not put whole money in trading because a person with greater knowledge can also loss if market goes against his thoughts.
Those type of people who think that they could trade very quickly and make money right away are people who have no idea what kind of talent they lack to do that. Same people who think that, also are the people who are incapable of doing it because they haven't studied trading enough. Because, anyone who studied trading would tell you that getting rich in a single day is impossible.

You have to trade like crazy, non-stop and constantly in order to make some good profits which would be very tough to handle. I believe that the best thing we could do right now is having some "hodl" situation for the long term until the price recovers, and that won't be too long down the road I am sure.

Some people who haven't done enough research think of it as an easy way of making money not knowing that it has risks and challenges most of the time because of the market's volatility. It requires enough understanding and analytic skills so it isn't easy as they think. It's a long and complex journey so if you feel that your knowledge and skills about trading aren't enough yet, just focus on holding while learning how to trade successfully so you can trade better in the future.
849  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: January 04, 2023, 05:16:08 PM
That one about shortcuts hit hard. Whenever I took some type of shortcut it would always backfire one way or the other Smiley))
Dont make yourself be always mindful about shortcuts on which its never been that recommendable. If you dont like on getting frustrated or being annoyed with the results then its better not to rush up

yourself because things arent supposed to be done on that way but rather you should really be that careful on every steps that you do make.Dont make yourself in a hurry on learning up things

Although mistakes are inevitable or something that cant be avoided but to mind off that these are stepping stones on making yourself way more better than
on yesterday. You would make yourself good as on the time that you are gaining experience.

It's understandable that sometimes you really wanted to take that shortcut, you are aiming for quick benefits and you think that with short-term trade you will be able to make decent, but due to volatility or unpredicted market changes, that shortcut also bring the mistake to how you decide your next step, a short dump will lead you in fear which most of the time leads investors and traders in losing their investment.

You need to work well in not to make a quick decision. Every market run has opportunities that bring to your investment. Make sure to take that chance if you see things are in your favor.

Quick benefits and aiming for huge profit in just a short period has a huge risk that you have to deal with. It's better to take small steps at a time but you'll have assurance rather than lossing everything you have because of greed and too much expectations. Sometimes, we lose more when we rush things out so we should think twice or more when making an investment or trading decision.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 04, 2023, 04:45:59 PM
Actually there are no tips to win everything even expert analysis cannot be trusted because sports betting sometimes results beyond expectations even though we are confident that the favorite team will win against a low reputation team, so there is no need to place big bets in your chosen team match, just pair low stakes so that you are excited to support your favorite team in that match. But single sports odds or fighters have high chances of winning the fight based on proper expert analysis.
By no means i am not looking for only winning bets, but if the total of wins would be over 50% (i am guessing this is wishful thinking), then it would be way higher then my current success rate. But I am guessing there's no such place because then everyone would be supposedly making money and that's just unsustainable and defeats the point of gambling. Money has to come from somewhere for the winners.

Even Sports professional analytics aren't always 100% reliable but honestly, I do both alone and team sports betting. I always do my own research and analysis by reading ideas and opinions from other sports bettors in pages and groups and I always choose the choice of the majority. It's risky but at least I would have confidence in my bet. The result is still unpredictable because we all know that sports betting is full of surprises.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Gambling 2022 - How was it for you? + - <> on: January 04, 2023, 04:20:20 PM
7 day poll

I have taken stock of my gambling over the last year and have concluded that I broke even,
I have not made any profits but have not had any losses - overall. I wouldn't class myself
as a high-roller gambler, I do a lot of microbes, I'm not looking to become a millionaire
from gambling but I do enjoy the buzz of winning occasionally!

Just wondering what state others have experienced over the year, not looking for numbers
or any scientific data, just interested in your progress.

I didn't gamble too much last year because I focused on investing and took advantage of the bearish season. I had a bad experience last 2021 in gambling which made me have huge losses because of irresponsible betting. I learned from that traumatic experience and try to recover from my gambling failure. Last year, I gamble whenever I feel like betting but as much as possible, I controlled my urge because I don't want to make the same mistake again. I think I still need to learn how to deal with the risks of gambling the smarter way.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 04:03:58 PM
In comparison to live casinos, online casinos do not offer free drinks, but if one were to bet from the comfort of his/her zone, and had a fridge or cooler of chilled alcoholic drinks, it shouldn't be a yardstick to get drunk to the point of funding ones betting wallet all just to gamble at that instance of excitement. Also, if one can't get to control the amount of his/her alcoholic intake I don't think such a one can control the excitement that comes from gambling and shouldn't bet, make withdrawals or fund gambling wallets, while drunk.
Yeah that could be one factor if you're in that comfortable zone, but that doesn't mean you're not aware of things like your savings being touched. You could be sober but you should leave untouched that money that is important for future use, it should be safe. The thing with crypto is if the same scenario happens like you have drinks on the fridge, and you're unaware of things you could also end up emptying your digital wallets considering how easy it is to transact online.

The person in the story shouldn't blame the casino for offering free drinks that made him drunk because he has a choice to refuse accepting it. It was he who has been irresponsible and wasn't able to control himself from too much gambling. He has the freedom of will but he chose to get drunk and bet all his money. Physical or online casinos could always tempt us to bet but we have the control to manage and deal with all those temptations wisely.
853  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 01, 2023, 03:54:45 PM
What the OP needs to know is that nothing is happening now that has not been witnessed before, even the worse, yet the world overcame it. This time will not be different, we should only sit tight and have the best of plans around it so that it would be eased for us. Although not palatable, the worse might still come, it's we who should find more means of income so that our money would not be more valueless.

The graph of the global economic woes is still pointing higher, it must have a stiff curve lower before we could be thinking of hope.

The world isn't getting any better even the environmental situation is getting worse but the good side is, we are all getting through it and still finding ways to survive. As the economic and world crisis gets worse, all of us are also getting tougher. Worse things could come but we should always focus on preparedness so we could deal with all the upcoming challenges.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 03:07:18 PM
I wont call it a waste of time, either waste of money its very cheap to participate actually, well, in my country, yes. Although i wont call it a smart move either.

It's true that doing gambling will give you higher odds for getting a win, but nothing compare to a winning a jackpot prize from the lottery.

I also consider it a waste of money and time. I know someone who has been betting all her life on the same number combination believing that it will be the only thing that could change her life. If we'll total her total betting amount, it would be huge enough for her to out up a business. I don't think it's a wise or even smart move because I could feel that most bettors are putting too much hope in it.
855  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your takes on revenge gambling? on: January 01, 2023, 02:37:29 PM
Revenge gambling is like you're chasing all your losses which is actually a wrong mindset. It only shows the incapability of a gambler to control his emotions. It could only lead to more losses in the future which we might just regret in the end. We should accept the fact that losing will always be a part of the journey but chasing it will be the wrong move. Impulsive gambling due to too much emotions will only cause trouble in the end.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: December 31, 2022, 06:30:09 PM
Okay, maybe most people complain about conventional stores because the prices offered are higher than the prices offered by online stores, it's natural for you to be in a situation like now, economic turmoil occurred in various industrial sectors and was accompanied by inflation. definitely looking for the best price to save money in the current circumstances.
After I read the book a few days ago, it turned out that it is normal for a business to be disrupted by new innovations and if for business people to be unable to balance or adapt to changing times.
The weird thing about where I live is that online stores have higher price in our culture because it means they are providing an extra service. Yes I know that if you go to a store and buy something, the store would have to pay rent and salaries and bills etc etc, whereas if it's just a warehouse, it's cheaper because instead of 20 stores and 200 workers, they could have 1 warehouse and 10 workers and they could reach out to everyone.

However, they are saying between shipping and providing you with sizes (if you buy a clothing and it's too small, you can send it back and get a bigger size) and you not be needed to leave your house and all, these are all extra services instead of you leaving the house and going to a store and trying and buying and coming back, so they charge higher for online stores.

We're lucky because, in our place, online stores have cheaper products. Local platforms always offer free shipping services which are also convenient for us. Maybe that's the reason why physical stores have lesser sales when online markets existed. It's way more convenient and twice cheaper so customers could save bigger. Physical stores are now having a hard time competing with online sellers so it's a big challenge for them.
857  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: December 31, 2022, 06:09:33 PM
Many people like to own something but they don't have the capacity to acquire what they want because they are struggling financially. So don't just people on why they don't acquire things you have or they should supposed to be have since maybe they just have plan but for now they are just watching then see things will happen on them in future.

Lets erase that mindset but rather lets spread positive word about investment and other opportunity brought by it especially on crypto currency industry.

Not everyone has the same opportunity as we do so we shouldn't look down on them. Poor people also want to succeed but they are also fighting battles that we have no idea about. They aren't capable of investing because they are also struggling with their finances but for sure, but they also have the same dream and goal. We can easily say things that they should be doing but we aren't wearing the same shoes so we must respect the way they live.

I mean shitcoins, pinag-investan mo eh, ano sa tingin mo magiging balik nun.

859  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: December 31, 2022, 09:50:19 AM
maybe in a free country I think playing directly gambling on the streets looks interesting too but it doesn't apply to countries that prohibit gambling of course it's not worth doing, by the way isn't open direct street gambling going to open up opportunities for crime from foreigners around you , because it looks like that is the problem even people might be more comfortable playing casino with their mobile phones with gambling sites compared to street gambling directly open
Gambling in streets could easily attract gamblers at all ages since it’s an open live casino, but yes it will never be allowed for those countries who are not gambling friendly. And the crime rate could be higher too since it gives freedom for all scammers and criminals to easily roam around and look for their new target. That is obviously the reason why this kind of casino is not allowed to happen as there could be a lot crimes and scandals that will surely take place.

In our country, street gambling and prohibited. My neighbors were caught gambling in the streets a few months ago and they have been jailed and paid a huge sum of bail just to get out of jail. I think only a few countries would allow street gambling because it could cause trouble and crimes in the future. Those who could witness it will also get interested in betting which could attract gambling hopefuls with the wrong mindset towards gambling so it is understandable why the government doesn't allow it.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: December 31, 2022, 09:34:36 AM
The use of cashless payment methods in gambling has become more common in recent years, however it is still important for gamblers to have the choice of how they want to pay. Additionally, mandating cashless gambling could pose challenges for those who may not have access to or be comfortable using electronic payment methods. And, I believe, there are many of them in less developed countries.

However, since we are on a cryptocurrency forum, I'm pretty sure we don't have to be afraid of a cashless society. Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and they will be the future of money, and it's not unreasonable to expect them to become a viable option for the majority of gamblers in the future. So, I don't see any problem with cashless gambling.

It will surely affect most gamblers negatively, tracking their gambling activities and taxing them would be easier for the government. It will have both positive and negative effects. It can reduce fraud activities and minors who are into gambling but will hit gamblers who want to make their activities private. We all know that the government is now doing everything to track and tax gamblers in ways that they can do and sadly, it's something that we can't get rid of in the future.
