1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 03:16:43 PM
I went to buy a phone with my friend today. Going there, Iphone 13 pro max became my favorite phone.  And arouses interest in buying. But I did not have enough money to buy that phone in my pocket. I laugh and talk about Bitcoin to the owner of that showroom. I was surprised to that the owner of that showroom want to sell his phone to me  for Bitcoin. And I asked him again, "Are you kidding me?"then He immediately gave me a bitcoin wallet to pay him. I paid him bitcoin and bought the Iphone 13 pro max.

Since the price of Bitcoin has come down a lot now, it has become foolish for me to buy the phone with Bitcoin.  Because for that I have to spend more bitcoin.  But still I am very happy to be able to do it.  Because in my country Bitcoin is still declared as an illegal currency.  Nevertheless, I got this advantage

It's really an exciting and promising experience to purchase something that we want using our Bitcoins. I have also experienced purchasing a good cellphone unit in our local online shop that accepts cryptocurrency. I guess it would be better if there would be more establishments and businesses that would accept crypto because it will beneficial to us. I believe that it could possibly happen in the future.
1822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be wiser than the market on: February 02, 2022, 02:40:54 PM
The market will always be unpredictable so we couldn't be wiser than it yet we can deal with it if we'll have enough knowledge about it. It's all about the perfect timing and not just going with the hype. Trading is a long process of learning but our experiences could teach us the best strategy. There's no such thing as perfect trading but we could get rid of losses if we'll know how the market moves.
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto is going to replace the dollar? Jack: Yes, Bitcoin will on: February 02, 2022, 02:31:53 PM
As for me, it could only happen once the government, as well as the people, would adopt cryptocurrency as the main currency. That's possible but it would still take a lot of time to happen since crypto couldn't put the dollar down because of its importance as a currency. However, I don't think crypto must replace dollar because they could actually work together.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: February 01, 2022, 04:51:40 PM
No wonder why Fury is the favorite here because we're already familiar with how he handles his matches. It will surely be a tough fight for Whyte but we shouldn't underestimate him as an opponent as well because he also has an aggressiveness on the ring. Fury has a funny personality that catches his supporter's attention all the time but he's also promising and too focused when he fights. It will be an exciting and thrilling match.
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An advanced technology could kill crypto? on: January 30, 2022, 05:04:11 PM
The world of technology is evolving every year what if in future a new tech is been born that can kill crypto or works better than crypto won't this kill cryptocurrencies?

Also I heard that super computers can get through all crypto wallet keys easily in a matter of days, true or false?

Yes, our technology is continuously evolving and developing but believe it or not, even cryptocurrency is also improving and developing so I don't think things like that could happen. The decentralized cryptocurrency is also adaptive about the changes so if the latest technology development would affect crypto, I'm sure that it would change features to keep it more secure.
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: Which business profit model do you prefer? on: January 30, 2022, 04:50:08 PM
I've been giving this a lot of thought lately, Which kind of business model would you prefer, will you prefer the kind of business where profit can be from both the rich and poor, that is huge profits occasionally and small profits daily?

Or the sort that only attends to the rich, and the poor cannot afford it, that is your profit is from the rich alone and usually huge, and comes occasionally?
Please give reasons for your choice

I would prefer a profitable business wherein both rich and poor people could afford it. If I will put up a business, I want to make sure that it would be affordable for everyone regardless of their social status as long as I'm getting a good profit from it. After all, the customers' financial status doesn't matter that much as long as I would have an effective marketing strategy.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 30, 2022, 04:21:29 PM

Casimero, being in the opponent's home court, he needs to make sure his actions inside the ring.

Exactly, he cannot just be complacent, if possible he should KO Butler, so a possible favoritism on the fight by the judges will not happen. Casimero is the defending champion here but he is going to be in the territory of the enemy, so he has to ensure his win and that is by KO.

If that's the case, then Casimero should be extremely careful as anything could happen in this fight especially if there's a possible favoritism and Casimero is the defending champion that's why his best option is to knock Butler out and not via unanimous decision so that there would be no error in the scorecards and there's no room to play favoritism.

I hope that this match would be fair for both of them. Casimero has been too dedicated in his fights so I'm sure that despite his opponent's edges, he could still win this match. Lots of people believe in him and I guess, he will do everything not to fail or disappoint his supporters.
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: January 30, 2022, 02:52:57 PM
It's still part of the cycle but I don't think we're on the bull run. I'm sure that the price would still drop since we're in the correction period. If you're having confusions, you could actually look back on the previous movements of the market and you'll see how it works. The market will always recover and I must say that it's still in a good state at the moment.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 30, 2022, 02:28:27 PM
Moving on to the upcoming games, we have some interesting games and the best game for me  is the Warriors vs Nets.

Durant is supposed to meet his old team but he was out, so it's gonna be Irving and Harden who will play the Warriors.
Though both stars are listed as probable now, but I hope they'll be playing so this game would be more interesting to watch.

My bet is GSW -6. GL!

Did not expect the game would be close,  Warriors won but only by 4 points, therefore it did not cover the spread.

Anyway, going forward for the upcoming games. As usual, I got one to pick.

My pick is Bulls -6.5 against the TrailBlazers, came from a loss, I think they'll bounce back in this game.

It was too close but I still believe that Warriors really did their best it was quite tough at the same time since the Nets also gave their best shot. It's a good thing that Nets are now getting back to their old status. I know that they could give more in the future. It's just a new beginning for them.
1830  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: January 30, 2022, 11:12:46 AM
Many ads do not tell how they work instead just tempt people to join them and if people join without research, they will make their own mistake. That makes many people lose their money without a chance to make money. People should be cautious when they watch the ads and not do something that can get the worst experience. Maybe Youtube is still trying to monitor all of the ads that can make people ruin themselves, but it still needs time for Youtube to ban the wrong ads.

Look, Google even controls YouTube ads very well. The problem is that often what is advertised, there is nothing wrong.

I can create a YouTube ad, and just say, "I can tell you four ways to make money, easily and effectively. Don't miss the opportunity to increase your income and have what you love most."
And then the service I provide is to refer people to websites or services that allow people to earn money through work or investment.

This is not wrong, nor is it a lie. But it really is a rogue scheme, to take money from people, about things they already know.

Unfortunately this will be difficult to eliminate, and for Google to ban. Then, it may not even be in the ads themselves, but in the videos on the platform, and in that sense it's even more difficult.
That is not wrong because you only give information to them and whether they will click on the links or leave it and that depends on them.

But we already have seen many ads that will not be like that. Even some ads can be misleading the audience by saying, "I am making a thousand bucks by doing this simple thing."

Google will hard to detect those ads as it needs more inspection or monitoring of their ads but they can warn the advertisers from the audience reports. If they still do not obey the rules, Google can ban or block their accounts and not allow them to use their site. But that will not stop them from creating new accounts.

Google couldn't control or stop ads like that but we could still do something to get rid of them. Since they're targeting players to bet or to spend too many funds, we should also take responsibility by being skeptical and observant of different ads that we may find online. Scammers are over the internet so we should always be wiser than them.

1832  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino behavior that turn you off on: January 29, 2022, 08:12:50 PM
Different forks with different opinions, I have seen quite a lot of gambling sites that have hard a rough pass and this reflects on their reputation both on this forum and outside the forum, this leads me to ask what are the bad behavior of casino operators that turn you off from the site?

Shady casinos with scam accusations turn me off. Especially those who are holding their players' funds without further reason. Those who break and don't follow their own TOS which violate the rights of their users. It's really an advantage if a certain site has a good record and reputation.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I invested $100 for 18 years for my new born nephew on: January 29, 2022, 04:43:42 PM
Your nephew is too lucky that he has someone who is thinking about his future. $100 is already a huge amount but no one could really know the possible price of Bitcoin or the market situation after 18 years but that's a great start. Bitcoin is actually good for a long-term hold. Lots of things could happen but your early preparation for your nephew will surely have a huge impact in the future.
1834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 29, 2022, 03:38:23 PM
Are you just going to miss the opportunity to buy because of doubt and fear? That's actually the reason why most investors are regretting now. Yes, the market is too unpredictable but we should know how to deal with every market situation. We're on the bearish situation yet it's the best time to accumulate potential coins.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 29, 2022, 02:53:41 PM

Cryptos have been counting the ups and downs in a balanced way lately. A coin that increased by 15% today, 2 days later we see that it has decreased by 25%. To what do you attribute this fluctuation?
When will cryptos enter Taurus month? Does anyone have any enlightening information on this subject?

When can ETH catch up with BTC?

So many questions, so few answers .. Smiley

I'll start from the last question. Ethereum can catch up with Bitcoin in terms of market capitalization within two years only if Ethereum 2.0 is implemented smoothly. In terms of price, Ethereum will never catch up with Bitcoin.

In terms of stabilizing the market, I am afraid investing in altcoins at this point is very risky. We have to wait for the stabilization of the Bitcoin price, which will probably last about a month. Then we will know if we are continuing the upward trend or entering the bear market.

I am very afraid of bear market. Smiley In fact, the decisions that will come out of the FED meeting to be held on January 26 will seriously affect the Crypto exchange. Before the FED, I think it would be beneficial to keep serious investments in USDT. Or we don't want to be people who go crazy in the face of crazy falls, do we? Smiley

Fearing the market shouldn't be the mindset of a holder. As long as you're holding potential coins, I don't think you should be doubtful. Yes, the market will strike down but that's how crypto works and that's part of the cycle. No one knows when the bull run would happen but it could surely happen in the future. Instead of fearing the market, just take it as an opportunity to buy good coins.
1836  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 29, 2022, 02:04:51 PM
There are reasons why some investors are missing the opportunity to buy while the price is still low. They might have used their funds for emergency purposes or for their necessities. We can't blame them for that and I don't see anything wrong with those who are venting out for missing the chance of buying while the price is still low. Sometimes, people see this forum as a comfort zone where they could share their experiences freely.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling In Crypto on: January 29, 2022, 10:44:42 AM
You are right, don't spend too much money when gambling, it only stresses us when we lose. Then what is dangerous is that the defeat of using
large capital makes us lose control, and try to cover up the defeats that we experience, then ultimately make us experience even greater losses.
Because the fact is that casinos always win, so we must learn to accept defeat when gambling. To be able to accept defeat we must ask ourselves,
how much money we are willing to lose if we lose. Because everyone is different, so just limit the money we will use to gamble according to the limits
we want. I myself have separated the money that I will use to gamble every weekend, so if the money runs out it means I have to stop gambling.
By limiting the money for gambling, I can avoid stress, and it finally made me avoid gambling addiction too.
It will not be suggested if you gamble using large capital, especially if you do not have good control to manage the money because when you lose some time, you will not think about how much you already losses instead of still playing for more.
It will lead you to use more money but you do not see your money is already reduced a lot.
If you use fiat or crypto, controlling your money will be important and just accept the losses and leave the gambling while you can.
in gambling there is no exact amount needed to use but at least you must Obliged yourself to have a budget amount to use and a target percent before stopping , if you can put these into action then you will always be saved in your gambling activities .

Only use the budget to let lose and use the target to let go.

I have learned those strategy when i become a gambling addict in which almost ruined my family life.

Gambling the allocated fund that you could afford to lose would be a smart decision. We should keep in mind that there's no guarantee of sure profit in gambling so we must be wise in spending. Either crypto or fiat, you should know how to use your funds wisely and never use all of it in gambling because you might regret losing everything in the end.
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 28, 2022, 03:49:26 PM
There are actually coins that are good for long-term holding and there are also coins that are just for short-term holding. Things will depend on the target profit that we want and how we trust the capability of the coins that we're holding. We're in a bearish market situation and it's the perfect time to buy and accumulate more good coins. Taking advantage of every market situation is still the best move.
1839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 28, 2022, 03:17:57 PM
Good things come to those who wait and to be honest, those who are impatient and want an easy profit don't belong in crypto. Trading and investing need a lot of courage since it has lots of risks so doubting the market during the dip instead of being hopeful and taking advantage of it will only result to more losses. As for me, buying low and selling high is the basic yet still an effective strategy.
1840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: January 28, 2022, 02:56:51 PM
No legit resources would contact you directly unless you exert sn effort to search for it. You couldn't rely on the things that you want to know about crypto on Youtube influencers. There are lots of other resources online but you also have to be eager to search for them. Reading threads on this forum would be a big help but I don't think posting your social media accounts would be helpful because for sure, scammers will just go on your way.
