1781  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 12, 2022, 04:04:22 PM
General opinion is that a side job is one that supports the main income of an individual, often times perceived as something that brings little money to add to what you make from your day job. If Mr X earns better from a side job when compared to the income from his career option, does the side job still qualify to be called a side job?

If that job is being done during a person's vacant time and not regularly, that's still considered as a part-time job regardless of how a person could earn from it. However, having a part-time job will be an advantage since we could earn and sustain all our daily necessities easily. We could have multiple side jobs as long as we're able to handle all of it.
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: February 12, 2022, 03:33:07 PM
Be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say "I'm going to be rich in 3 years later," this is a 1 percent out of 100 percent chance that it will ever happen, remember, being rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living is, and remember, being rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living is.

I like this mindset but being rich could also give us financial freedom and we could give our family a comfortable life but our focus shouldn't only be on getting rich but also on living a happy life. Gaining profit is the best thing that we could experience here but we should keep in mind that crypto is volatile and isn't a shortcut to getting rich.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: February 12, 2022, 02:28:36 PM
Do you have any pattern that you see or watch in the market to determine time to sell your hodlings and take your profit ?

Do you regret not selling your coins at any point because you didn't know it will drop ?

Can you share your opinion

In some cases, my decision of selling depends on the capability of a coin but since crypto is too unpredictable, I usually set a target goal and sell my holdings when I reach it. Dealing and taking every market situation as an opportunity to take profit would be the wisest thing to do. That's why we're always advised to study about technical analysis so we'll know the possible movement of the market.
1784  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rapper wins 1,3M$ on: February 12, 2022, 12:42:11 PM
One of the most famous rappers posts pictures showing his three bets worth 1.5 million dollars, all of which were correct, and he scored a huge win of 1.3 million dollars.
I think he crashed the gambling site STAKE. If you really had a lot of money, would you risk placing a $500,000 bet?

https://cryptoukraina.com/2022/02/10/drake-bets-over-1-5-million-in-bitcoin-on-super-bowl/
Ij

That's such a big amount of winning and I must say that he's too lucky. If I would have $500,000 I guess I wouldn't risk it in gambling simply because I'm not financially capable of doing that but if I would have funds and assets that's more than that then I would definitely try luck.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Join the Lottery Draw: Win ETH, BNB, AVAX on: February 12, 2022, 11:14:59 AM
There is no provably fair system for these lottery tickets and we can't see the winners from the previous draws...

We can't even see how many tickets users have bought for this draw.

So, anyone who tries this is at a high risk to lose his money, be careful guys, it's easy to make an engine like this and make a function to auto-buy the winning ticket.

It really has a big risk and we have no assurance that they would be transparent since they aren't showing any proof about their participant's tickets or any information about the lottery verification and draw. If they would be transparent, it will be easy for them to attract more players.
1786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coin you like trading future on: February 11, 2022, 10:09:22 PM
I would still prefer trading well-established coins. My priority will be Bitcoin and top altcoins because based on my experience, their high volatility could give a higher chance of gaining a bigger profit. Bitcoin will be a good option but some altcoins are good for day or even future trading. Sometimes the profit will still rely on our skills.
1787  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Warning] luckyfish.io is CLOSING on: February 11, 2022, 04:18:31 PM
In my opinion it is scam, they have opened a thread in this forum: https://satoshigames.io/threads/luckyfish-io-announces-its-closure.19/

Scam or not that is not the issue here ,because the topic is about the closure and they are letting the players know so they can withdraw their funds before the final date, and this is not how the scammers do.
instead the site will automatically closed without notice to the general public so their funds will remain inside the casino.
but this action from luckyfish does not reflect to what you are claiming here.

Not everything is black and white like you make it seem.

Not stealing everyone's money all at once does not erase previous shady behavior.
yeah i guess you are completely correct , it did not cross my mind when posting since i am not one of the victim (if there is really one) as i have withdrawn my funds.

but those will serve as warning to anyone who wants to play or deal with this team here or in the other gambling site they will promote.
Hopefully, this news can help awareness the other gamblers who forgot their account on that site and still keep some balance on their account to withdraw the money immediately before they are late doing that. Besides announcing to close the site on their website, they should announce it here so we can know what we need to do. Maybe luckyfish.io can give a chance to members to withdraw their money so there will be no problem for both sides and they can officially tell the public that they are closing their website.

Well, since no one was talking here more, I need to add up that you can still Cashout Funds on Luckyfish and this like 2.5 Months after closing. I think this looks pretty promising for a re-open which i was pretty sure 2,5 months ago will never happen. So probably we will see Luckyfish soon in action again!

Maybe they don't have enough gamblers playing here that's why there's no people talking about it anymore and also since there's no one claiming anything like they didn't get their balances the maybe their closure is successfully executed and all of their customers got refunded already so if that's the case there's no need for this thread to revive back so hopefully this post will be the last one.

It's a good thing that they didn't miss informing their players about their closing. Not all casinos would succeed but it's still important that they would think of their user's welfare. I believe that they would reopen again soon so their concern for their users would be a good reason to keep their good reputation.
1788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 11, 2022, 03:42:13 PM
Your intention is good but I guess it would be better if you'll send them fiat and let them decide if they would buy Bitcoin or not. Yes, Bitcoin is a great investment yet not everyone is willing to take the risks. I hope our boss would have the same mindset but employees have different perspectives and priorities so you should let them decide for themselves.
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BABYLONIA.APP WHERE THE FUN STARTS on: February 11, 2022, 03:35:33 PM
Interesting concept of a casino too bad there is still no working product yet, I check your telegram channel and you only have three members, you should launch a massive campaign like a bounty campaign, since this is crowdfunding it will not get more audience to what you are offering so better create one in the altcoin announcement and launch a bounty campaign, a signature campaign is highly recommended.

Advertising and promoting your site in the right and effective way would be better. You could actually create campaigns to promote it but I think it would be an edge if you'll do that when the app is already working. There are still things that you have to polish and work on so I hope that you'll get the trust of most gamblers here.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Altcoin experience and Lessons on: February 11, 2022, 03:25:44 PM
Greediness and contentedness are human nature but we have to overcome them. Sometimes, when we gain profit, we want to earn more which could only result in more losses. As for me, when we reach our target goal, that's when we have to stop or sell because aiming for more might only ruin our journey.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate? on: February 11, 2022, 07:12:43 AM
I have invested with these two despite the negative things that some investors are saying about meme coins simply because it has high volatility especially when huge influencers hype them. It might have lots of negative feedback but what is important is it's too profitable though there are really lots of well-established coins that are worth holding.
1792  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 10, 2022, 07:17:39 PM
There are really lots of the same regrets for those who missed the chance of buying or receiving Bitcoin back then but that's just part of the history's opportunity that we have missed. Wikipedia didn't even know that Bitcoin would evolve into a giant currency as it is right now. If we only know back then that Bitcoin would be this valuable, I'm sure that lots of us should have become billionaires.
1793  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ Thunderpick.com ⚡ Crypto Esports Betting 🎮🖥️🖱️ on: February 10, 2022, 06:52:32 PM
I saw the live support button on the right bottom. which one do you means?
I can't see live support there. They have email to contact. What did you mean?
I also see live support because I already talk with Jastiano (if I'm not mistaken).

The live support button is shown every time you click on the page, so it is strange if you did not see it.

Jastiano helps me solve my problem and I can play with ease now.

From the registration process to the support system, everything seems smooth. It's a great thing that you've entered the forum fully equipped and well prepared for the possibilities. The deposit bonus is also impressive. I hope that you'll continue the good work so you'll build up a good reputation.
1794  Economy / Gambling / Re: MysticBets.io - Community Owned Sportsbook on: February 10, 2022, 03:15:35 PM
  • Currency Accepted
  • BTC / ETH/ USDT / MBT
  • Offer some of the best odds found online

welcome to the forum, your site is very beautiful, congratulations. but why don't you add altcoins that have cheaper transaction fees compared to those altcoins you have on your site?

That's also what I have noticed. I think it would be better if they would add cheaper altcoins so users could lessen the struggle of paying high transaction fees. It's really been a burden for most players for years so I guess you could attract more players by adding cheap yet good coins. Your site is too impressive and I hope that you would put up a good name on this forum.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet in probelms for unwanted gambling advertising on: February 10, 2022, 10:28:52 AM
It looks like a lot of gambling platforms are incurring fines and violations in terms of advertising. I have unsubscribed to lots of advertisements from online casinos and some still went through, and end up in my spam folder. As someone who tries to limit their gambling habits on a select few platforms, and have purposely blocked all promotions and newsletters from other platforms, this is simply unacceptable since they are trying to entice me and tempt me to come and play to them once more. What if I'm a problematic gambler who wishes to change my ways? I'll be back at square 1 and it's all going to be downhill from there, again.

Their act really deserves to be fined simply because they're causing disturbance to their customers who already unsubscribed to them. There are still lots of other gambling sites that advertise this way which I think also need to penalize. Gamblers are actually unsubscribing to get rid of gambling so they should be responsible for spamming their customers with too many advertisements.
1796  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you manage gambling addict by taking drugs? on: February 09, 2022, 03:48:19 PM
As for me, drugs or any type of medication would only be a band-aid solution. Gambling addiction could ruin even someone's health. It would be better if he would ask for professional help and start to control himself from too much gambling. The cure should start on himself. He must learn how to control his emotions and discipline himself. It's hard but he could take baby steps to release himself from this type of addiction.
1797  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it just me or people are out of liquidity ( money ) ? on: February 08, 2022, 03:21:06 PM
Each country differs in economic situation. I think your country isn't in good shape this time because, in our country, even small businesses are now existing and people could also sustain not just their necessities but also their wants. I guess one factor that affects your country's economy is the pandemic situation that we have right now.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think coin is the right choice? on: February 06, 2022, 05:20:40 PM
My personal choice would still be BTC, BNB, and ETH. I would still prefer to invest in well-established coins rather than new coins that's just been carried by too much hype and influenced by huge personalities. There will surely be more coins that will exist this year but coins with a strong foundation will still be on top especially the trusted coins.
1799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: February 06, 2022, 04:54:08 PM
What you've shared will already be a big help to that person yet he still has a lot to know about crypto including its risks. Technical analysis is too complex for beginners so focusing on the basics would be easier to understand. Trading is a long process of learning and reading a blog wouldn't be enough. There are still lots of resources where he could practice trading but he should first know how crypto trading works.
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What high gas fee have cost me on: February 06, 2022, 04:42:13 PM
I know that some rich people don't care what ETH gas fee was saying in 2021 when BTC was surging but for me it cut me off some wonderful opportunities, the most painful one was shiba inu could have been one of the early buyers probably a big winner know but couldn't buy because shiba inu started its journey on ETH chain. . . there are actually few others so I started looking for tokens running on BSC chain only..imagine.

It's true that the fees on the Ethereum network right now are very heavy on small players like you and like me, but I think this will only last for a while, we'll have Ethereum 2.0 with their full PoS in the future, based on what I've heard from people, the fees on the Ethereum network will be cheap with the new consensus.

With the current conditions on the Ethereum network, there are so many scam projects that are present on the BSC network, I hope you will not enter into scam projects that are on the BSC network.

I hope Ethereum 2.0 could lessen the struggle of most traders who want to save high fees. It has really been a burden especially for small-time traders and some got no choice but to switch to other network. Ethereum should really do something to fix it because this has been a huge problem for years.
