...and stop hating on me uguise, I cried at the end of "King of Hearts."

...grow some balls put a face to your name if your going to slander someone.

Ok, Mr.dreamspark.  Hippy parents, I take it?

Not sure what your trying to say but okay...

You are asking people to offer their real names and pics on an anonymous internet forum before posting their opinions.  While posting an opinion under a pseudonym without an attached selfie.  Get it now, Anon?

No, try again.

I'm asking people who throw out slander and attempt to defame people for no good reason, call someone a bad businessman and insinuating that they are better/ more successful to back themselves up and not hide behind a pseudo anon identity. Particularly when dealing with someone who is doing the exact opposite of that.

Am I doing any of those things? No

If I was I'd have the balls to put a face to a name and not hide behind a computer like a 10 year old.

EDIT: Discredit the entire thread ? What planet are you living on. Please point to the part where I asked how this guy's mental state is relevant to the thread where he doles out financial advice....

In my humble opinion notlambchop's either a professional troll or a genuine c**t!  Smiley
844  Economy / Speculation / Re: it will reach $5000 before this year ends on: May 12, 2014, 02:18:21 PM

I sure would rather trust someone "fun at parties" for economic outlooks and financial advice than someone willing to face truths.

Blitz, whatever happens I think you can feel safe in the knowledge that no-one is ever going to come back and say "It was that moderator from bitcointalk who convinced me to buy them!"  Cheesy

...
I fail to see what that has to do with "Bitcoin price movement tracking and discussion"  Smiley
...

When a mental patient gives out financial advice, take it with a grain of salt.
Work for you?

No it doesn't actually.

It might sound tongue in cheek, but I believe there are plenty of people - not necessarily rpietila - who would be considered ripe for a mental institution but who have particularly keen insight in certain respects. It seems quite obvious to me that these things can often go hand in hand: a person has an unusually large part of their concentration focussed on one thing, leaving less of their mind or personality for the rest.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 12, 2014, 02:05:00 PM
ok, one question then...
Were you hospitalized in a mental institution last year?

I fail to see what that has to do with "Bitcoin price movement tracking and discussion"  Smiley

But seeing as it's been brought up, it seems to me like a relatively large proportion of posters in here might benefit from this. Perhaps entire wards dedicated to those with a trolling disposition.
847  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: More proof that savegox.com is a sham. on: May 12, 2014, 01:25:47 PM

I found this site: http://www.coinsumm.it/

What's with the dates - is this thing in July or did it already happen in March?

Anyone?

EDIT: Got it now - the site has two events mixed up. Please don't worry about my question any more.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop to next level coming...bail the F out now! on: May 12, 2014, 11:53:58 AM
Brace yourselves, Amazon is coming...

The more people get hyped up to imagine that Bitpay is going to announce integration with Amazon, the worse it is going to be when they announce Richard Branson came round for a cup of tea or whatever.

Let's set the bar a little lower on this one  Smiley
849  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SaveGox.com on: May 12, 2014, 11:04:27 AM
I wouldn't say that you need a particularly fertile imagination to suppose that the balances have been out for years, say because Mark or some associates decided to borrow, sell, short or whatever at the wrong time.

Then it would help to simply inflate the balances of those in on the scam. These are Goxcoins we are talking about here, remember; I don't see why inflating some balances would necessarily require deflating others.

One thing is for sure. The people wanting to take over have BTC in their eyes. Being one of those with "funds" in Gox I personally would like to see some kind of rehabilitation. But a 16.5% stake stinks. The sum of balance holders should have at least parity with the new owners - 50%, nothing less.

saying that religion causes wars is like saying chemicals cause cancer.  i have yet to see any living thing that did without chemicals, or any conscious mind that did without beliefs which cannot be concluded by evidence and logic alone.

it is difficult to take seriously anyone who attempts to preclude argument by declaring that disagreement is in itself disqualifying evidence  - and probably not worth the effort to do so.

neat way of putting it
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: 08/05/2014 Anyone else waiting to buy back in next down turn? on: May 11, 2014, 10:38:57 PM
I think $360 is a fucking good bet for a bit of crashy bouncey action....

Can't wait till Mat gets on the train, all happy like...

852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 11, 2014, 06:58:13 PM
Oh well. Its mother's day, so the bulls have a good excuse to be absent.

853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Volume at Huobi dropping like a stone on: May 11, 2014, 06:17:28 PM
They've banned the banks from using it. They've banned journalists from reporting it. They pour scorn on Bitcoin users (maybe they've got that partially right  Roll Eyes). The line you take is beginning to sound pedantic.

OMG T. Stuart, has the bitcoin bull now turned permabear?

Cheesy He he! Not at all. Just trying to put things in black and white - better say black in my opinion. In this way we can get over China quicker. Also it's almost true: imagine if the Chinese gov. banned banks from offering accounts to businesses dealing in other types of property, goods, merchandise, etc. That would be heavy news indeed.

The only reason they haven't completely banned bitcoin exchanges in their country is
a) they want to keep the final trump card in their back pocket, in order to keep the FUD going as long as possible (since it seems to be working for now)

I still think they're moving too quickly if that's their game. If they really want to control the price down then they should have a longer perspective. The net effect of the current policy is that Bitcoin is being pumped with strong vaccine against future Chinese action!
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin ever fucking go up? on: May 11, 2014, 06:04:55 PM
Your panicking after 1 FUCKING hour. This game is not for you noob. Leave the stock market alone too.

He is right to be concerned.

Long term support line on verge of being breached with 4 hour indicators all pointing down.

I wouldn't go short at the moment either Mat!
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 11, 2014, 06:03:05 PM
"My religion is right and yours is wrong" is the leading cause of war and hate in the world.

Nonsense.
856  Economy / Service Discussion / +500 stuck since early afternoon 11 May 2014 ?? on: May 11, 2014, 01:57:06 PM
Anyone here use +500 ?

It seems stuck at the moment for me - registering $442 constantly despite falling prices.

857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 11, 2014, 01:43:34 PM

Bitcoin bulls go one step further to tell you not only is Bitcoin risk-free but that if you aren't holding bitcoins, you are taking a risk because holding fiat is risky... bitcoin is... the infallible investment made in heaven... buy buy buy or die... fear NOT holding bitcoin... bitcoin is the solution for the apocalypse... bitcoiners will become filthy rich... you need to be on board or be left to perish...

Yeah but when we start raving like that it acts as the clearest warning possible to those considering joining the gang!  Cheesy
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Volume at Huobi dropping like a stone on: May 11, 2014, 07:17:36 AM
Huobi is a Chinese exchange.

China banned bitcoins months ago.

Stupid, how the chumps here are the first to call it a ban, while all that China did was to rule banks shouldn't use it. Don't you guys get that is not the same thing?

859  Economy / Speculation / Re: 457 HOLY SHIT on: May 11, 2014, 06:40:12 AM

Ultra low volume on a 'break out' from a 5 month downtrend?

Seems a bit crumbly to me.

Don't forget what you were saying a few months ago Mat, that we would know when the low was in by the fact that it dragged on slowly for plenty of time. How can you have that with the kind of a "break out" you mention? Perhaps the current market is what you were talking about?
860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 11, 2014, 06:31:17 AM
See - wtf is that? What is that thing? You guys need to focus on this because this is your real problem here. Someone needs to call an exterminator or something.
Myrmecia gulosa (Latin for "greedy ant", sort of) is known as the "giant bull ant".  A tiny giant bull though. Well,a large tiny giant bull.  Cheesy

You calling us ants now Jorge? Jeez - talk about a superiority complex!  Wink
