God

Well, great post. But, you need to specify which God we are talking about here. Zeus? Odin? Dionysis? Allah? Jesus? Some Gods are known to science, for example, the gods of whoever worships nature.

All gods...

Science has never found any evidence of any god ever

It's basically the definition of supernatural... science can only study natural phenomenon (things which exist)

Gods are supernatural (things which do not exist)

843  Other / Politics & Society / Pentagon audit reveals $6.5 Trillion in fraudulent accounting on: August 29, 2016, 06:23:32 PM
I'd like to point out that the military budget for 2015 was $600 Billion...

https://www.mintpressnews.com/audit-pentagon-cannot-account-6-5-trillion-dollars-taxpayer-money/219246/

Quote
Army and Defense Finance and Accounting Service Indianapolis personnel did not adequately support $2.8 trillion in third quarter adjustments and $6.5 trillion in year-end adjustments made to Army General Fund data during FY 2015 financial statement compilation,” wrote Lorin T. Venable, the assistant inspector general for financial management and reporting. “We conducted this audit in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards.”

The Army spent well over ten times their budget, and had no receipts for anything...

As far as I know, we aren't officially at war with anyone... are we?  WTF is going on?
844  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why socialism? on: August 29, 2016, 04:49:55 PM
Why is  the left pushing the idea of socialism/comunism so much even tho it showed that it doesn't work many times in the past?

theoretically , socialism and comunism are the best regime on earth. people are economically equal in those regimes but somethings arent like that in reality. socialist and communist regimes can easily evolve to dictatorship some time after. for that reason, these regimes dont work on earth.

Any regime can turn into a dictatorship (most already have)... that has nothing to do with the style of government or economic policies, and everything to do with "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely"

You cannot have any form of government without people in charge... those people always end up corrupted... faster in a Capitalism environment than a Socialist one...

I'll even give an example... USA (capitalist) vs Iceland (socialist)...

The bankers in both countries destroyed the economy... in USA, we gave the bankers a get out of jail free card and $50,000,000,000 bailout...

In Iceland... they threw the bankers in prison for causing the disaster
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2016-03-31/welcome-to-iceland-where-bad-bankers-go-to-prison

That's the difference between socialism and capitalism... the corruption is much worse in capitalism...

Socialism = government by the people, for the people
Capitalism = government for sale to the highest bidder (corporations and wealthy donors)
845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why socialism? on: August 29, 2016, 01:24:19 PM
Socialism is more better specially if your leader is charactirize by this kind of person because if your leader is socialist he is an open minded person and a very approachable person, he knows what is the problem of the poor person and also the rich person. He has two society the rich society and the poor society. He is a successful person but he brought his heart in his successful life. Socialism is not communism why? The difference of this is Communism hates rich people and love power while Socialism hates oligarch persons and dont have interest in power I mean he believes in destiny and socialist person is believe in god while communist person do not believe in god.

soacialism always ends up as communism... "socialist person is believe in god while communist person do not believe in god." well from all the intervies and protests I;ve seen, I can surely say that todays "socialists" share the same opinion on that question..

Socialism has no link with communism...
It's like saying capitalism always ends up becoming fascism. .. it has no link whatsoever ><

I would argue that capitalism has some serious flaws...

It inevitably leads to corruption of the government by money... inevitable...

Capitalism leads to an Oligarchy... like America... where corporations write the laws, then bribe congress to pass the laws (Obamacare, TPP, etc)...

That's how America works right now... America is an Oligarchy... because that's what happens to Capitalist countries

And main problem is that capitalism works on growth, and infinite growth in a finite world is not possible. It doesn't work, why everyone is praising capitalism when it can obviously not work...

Capitalist countries also tend to have tons of debt based spending... which causes hyperinflation of the currency

USA is good(?) at hiding their overspending... well... was good at it...

The Federal Reserve has never been audited, so we have no idea how much money they spend without telling us...

The Pentagon was audited for the first time ever... the audit showed they lied about $TRILLIONS... spending money without receipts... Over $8.5 Trillion in 2015 alone! (their budget is $600 Million)

The military spent more than 14x their budget (more than double the entire US budget... $3.25Trillion collected in taxes in 2015)!  Without receipts to show it is a legitimate expense! And we aren't even at war with anyone?!?

This is what causes hyperinflation... when your government spends more than they collected in taxes... (spending money you don't have lowers its value)

847  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is science a religion? on: August 29, 2016, 05:33:11 AM
Science and religion are essentially one and the same thing and can be used interchangeably in any context.

Where do you people get such ideas?

Science is about finding the truth via evidence & experimentation, and correctly predicting future results (like cosmic background radiation)

Religion is about telling stories which are bullshit, have zero scientific merit, and are not capable of predicting anything
848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is white nationalism and why it is so dangerous? on: August 29, 2016, 04:59:36 AM
Nationalism is a feeling of superiority ('Murica is the greatest!)...  It causes fascism, etc...

Nazi's had a lot of nationalist pride...

So many people were willing to murder those who look different... that's nationalism

849  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There are no illegal immigrants in the us only UNDOCUMENTED ones on: August 28, 2016, 03:36:48 PM
what is the difference between illegal and undocumented? Because the document can make something become legal and valid. I think there is a politic issue behind those immigrants.

Simply semantics...

A person cannot be illegal... illegal implies an action... a verb, not a noun... actions are illegal, not people...

The correct word would be unlawful...

Unlawful Immigrants...

But, that's just semantics... it's like someone saying they feel nauseous, and correcting them saying the word is nauseated, not nauseous

Imagine that you wanted to see that air exists, from a scientific standpoint. There is no paper for thousands of fundamentally known things of the universe.

The scientific evidence that God exists is fundamental. Probably no other paper has been written than the unscientific writings that I am doing here, and those of scientists who show that cause and effect, complex universe and universal complexity are real.

You can figure it out for yourself by taking the papers that show the three, and combining them to show God.

This is a complete failure to understand science

Science is about communicating with other people via evidence and examples... if you cannot convince someone, you fail

You cannot possibly convince anyone without showing them evidence... you aren't even trying

This reminds me of the south park episode with the underpants gnomes:
1) Collect underpants
2) ...?...
3) Profit!

At least come up with... something... anything... devise an experiment... be a scientist

YOU NEED TO BURN IN HELL!!!!

Best regards.

Why? Because he posted an image? Damn.

Because he's using the name of the Demon that asked for childrens to burn in the fire.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moloch

Best regards.

That Wikipedia link is some dark reading. Very disturbing actually.

Quote
Tophet is Moloch, which was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretched out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out; but the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved.

Quote
the flames of which engulf the child. When the flames fall upon the body, the limbs contract and the open mouth seems almost to be laughing until the contracted body slips quietly into the brazier. Thus it is that the 'grin' is known as 'sardonic laughter,' since they die laughing.

Religious people are crazy... what can I say?

You guys believe and say the craziest shit

You are also quite mean

855  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dirt on Gary Johnson... Time is coming to wipe to report his voters to trump on: August 24, 2016, 05:35:35 PM
The thing Trump supporters don't seem to understand is that the system is rigged...

Trump is part of it... he didn't get the nomination by chance... let me break it down at a 3rd grade level so you can understand

1) Hillary decided it would be easier to beat Trump than any of the other republican candidates
2a) Hillary controls the media... CNN, NBC, etc are owned by Time Warner and Comcast... Hillary's bitches
2b) Trump got $3,000,000,000 in free media (thanks Hillary)
3a) Hillary controls the polling
3b) (future prediction) Gary Johnson polls at 15%... just enough to get into the national debates
4) Hillary cheats (rigging the primaries cost Bernie ~180 delegates, and the nomination)

Trump is polling >10% behind Hillary...
5a) With cheating I estimate a 15-20% lead (Hillary is GOOD at rigging elections)
5b) With cheating and Gary Johnson in the debates, Hillary has a 20-25% lead on Trump (50% Hillary, 25% Trump, 20% Johnson, 5% Stein)

Jill Stein won't be allowed in the debates because it would significantly hurt Hillary's numbers... Jill Stein instead of Gary Johnson in the debates might take enough votes from Hillary to get Trump elected... but, Hillary controls the media and the polling and the committees who vote on all this stuff... it would never ever happen

So... Good Luck
856  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dirt on Gary Johnson... Time is coming to wipe to report his voters to trump on: August 24, 2016, 05:17:03 PM
90% of those supporting Gary Johnson are anti-Trump republicans (especially the Ted Cruz supporters). The RINOs such as Lindsey Graham have urged their followers to vote for Hitlery, and they are not going to waste their vote by supporting Johnson. That said, it will be very difficult to predict what will happen, if Johnson pulls out of the race. Most of his supporters are so hardcore anti-Trump that they are more likely to support Hitlery than voting for Trump/Pence in a two-way race. At the best, they may stay at home.

90% you say?  Do you have a source for that besides your ass?

Every Gary Johnson supporter I know supports the man for his policies, and has supported him before Trump announced he was running... it's not like Gary Johnson came from nowhere... this isn't even his first time running for president
857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dirt on Gary Johnson... Time is coming to wipe to report his voters to trump on: August 24, 2016, 05:10:39 PM
Why do you hate him so much if you know nothing at all about his policies or his supporters?

That is the definition of bigotry... look it up

Not surprised it is coming from a Trump fan
858  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: August 24, 2016, 03:49:08 PM
I didn't conduct the survey, but typically a sample size of 500 is considered sufficient... so 75,000 is WAY more than needed for an accurate depiction of the situation (150 times the sample size of your average poll, scientific study, etc)

I would agree. But only partially. A sample size of 500 is enough, if it gives the necessary weight to all the major demographic groups.

For example, a sample survey about the presidential race will consult 500 voters, out of whom approx. 350 will be non-Hispanic white, 75 African-American, 50 Hispanic, and 25 Asian and others. Gender-wise, they will have equal representation from males and females.

Are you sure that the surveyors have given accurate weight to the major groups here? For example, if the survey had an over-representation from New Mexico or California, it will have a bias towards Catholics (due to the Hispanic population). On the other hand, if there is an over-representation from the south-east, there will be a bias towards protestants.

That said, I don't claim that this survey is an outlier. The results, match with my expectations.

As I said previously,

Look at any comparable statistic, and you will see the truth... don't take my word for it, do your own research

They originate from a .gov website mentioned in the image (Bureau of Justice Statistics - Federal Bureau of Prisons)

Feel free to read all about their data collection policies if you are interested in such things
http://www.bjs.gov/index.cfm?ty=tp&tid=141#data_collections

On the topic of Buddhism...

I appreciate that Buddhists do their own research and do not hassle me about something they could easily google themselves
859  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: August 24, 2016, 02:27:14 PM
I believe that there is one God, the real God who is always looking upon us and guide us.

Every religion believes in theRealGod™

Although, my definition of "reality" is based on facts and evidence, rather than... I don't know... nothing?... There has never been a single shred of scientific evidence supporting the belief in any god... ever... it has never happened... not once in the entire 4 billion years this planet has existed
860  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: August 22, 2016, 07:27:25 PM
Muslims are 120 times more likely to be criminals than Atheists
Catholics are 28 times more likely to be criminals than Atheists
Protestants are 11 times more likely to be criminals than Atheists
Even Mormons are 3.7 times more likely to be criminals than Atheists! (Mormons are quite good compared to anyone other than Atheists)

And there you have it... Atheists are the good guys... "by their fruits shall you know them"

These figures are as expected.. but I have to add a few things here. According to the US BJS, 2.2 million adults were incarcerated in US federal and state prisons, and county jails in 2013. And you have responses (74,731) only from 3.5% of this population. We don't know the religious affiliation of the remaining 96.5% of the prisoners.

I didn't conduct the survey, but typically a sample size of 500 is considered sufficient... so 75,000 is WAY more than needed for an accurate depiction of the situation (150 times the sample size of your average poll, scientific study, etc)
