On a scale of bullshit I would put John Steward in a larger pile for sure, but IMO Maher's pile is also exceptionally large and steamy. That's exactly how I started feeling about Jon Stewart, I thought the guy was great in his prime, but as the years went by no matter how angsty he might get about it he started towing the political mainstream line far too much when before he would call both sides out on their bullshit. Remember during one of the campaigns how they mocked both Democrats and Republicans at the same time? Gone now, I wonder if it's partly because he was planning on leaving he started playing it safe and going after the easy targets like racists and homophobes.
I am not looking forward to Trevor Noah at all, I suspect he'll be really bad, because as bad as Jon Stewart could get he at least had some self-respect and could admit when he was wrong but oh dear. Thank fuck Top Gear got onto Amazon and Bill Maher is still kicking around otherwise I don't know what we'd all do if we didn't have them calling people out on their bullshit.
I think what happened was he got far too much political power (which I don't think he was actively seeking) and TPTB gave him an offer he couldn't refuse honestly. Bill Maher? Really? I consider him a bigger knob and sell out than John Stewart ever was. Bill Maher can be a nob yes, but he's very honest about calling people on the left on their bullshit, especially when it comes to freedom of speech, I can respect a guy for that, Jon Stewart on the other hand I think started shielding political allies a bit too much towards the end. |

That's just dodgy as fuck, yes you probably are fucked, especially if it's over Okpay and not a wire transfer or anything sensible. It's one thing to ask for a simple passport photograph but if people start asking you for all kinds of weird shit then don't trust them for a second, apparently it's 'common' practice on LocalBitcoins for people to ask for a photo of you holding up your bank card with the numbers covered over. However, I don't trust that for a second because even the big exchanges don't ask for that kind of information.
You should have gone through proper channels or found someone much more trustworthy this guy is on a newbie account and everything.

Even I've got a second bank private bank account for a place for any profits I make that flow in through Bitcoin or my business purely for money managing reasons, that way I know what's coming in and what's going out properly and can keep an eye on things, it's common sense. One for any family money coming in that I spend purely on education and so on, the other for my own private use, it also means I can legitimately top up my primary account if it gets a bit low. Either this guy just didn't give a fuck, or he's really, really stupid. |

Haven't earned 1btc yet myself  hopefully I will sometime this year though, been earning lots of fractions however which is great, even though being a millionaire with 1BTC would mean hyperinflation, if you can earn 1btc a day you're going to be very well off. |
