881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get altcoins by playing games on: October 27, 2016, 08:22:15 PM
Ok, I have a question for everyone who participated in these pay-to-play-a-game projects. Do you actually can earn something other than faucet level income by doing this?
I assume it is waste of time, and rather a way for developers of some alts to use this method for promotional purpose.

Clearly you are clueless. Please research before asking stupid questions like that .

The mining you do in the game is actually how the game mines also it doesnt have a faucet and is played directly in the wallet. You would know this if younrewd the Ann

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=435170.0

HUC seems to have declined heavily in price and (I assume) popularity as well. Haven't seen any mention of it in ages. As others have mentioned, DGB can't really net you any significant amount of wealth (We're talking hundreds of hours for $1 worth).

You could look into BitCrystals. I believe that game has launched. Not sure how easy it is to profit the currency by playing, owever.

Umm do you have eyes ? Do you know how to read a graph ? HUC is never been worth more till now. The graph reveals this after 5 seconds of looking at it.

Are you trolling? Look at the expanded graph? HUC had declined steadily since it's release, but maintained a solid floor around 10k sats for quite some time. Even if it's starting to rebound, it's still only 1/4th what it was before it started to lose popularity.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash: What's the point? on: October 27, 2016, 08:16:20 PM
Saw a reddit advertisement for ZCash recently that only announced it as a crypto that has appreciated 5x in value. That's enough for me to never ever invest. No thanks.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: October 26, 2016, 08:55:22 PM
I bought into XEL before the disclaimer that "THESE ARE DONATIONS ONLY" were put on the ICO page, as well as the restrictions from US based individuals from "donating" (I am from US). Should I be concerned?
altcoins are high risk investments I think you are not aware of this. 100% loss is not unlikely.
Having this mindset, I am not concerned at all about this great project

Oh believe me, I understand how altcoin investing works. I am sure I have a broader experience with altcoin investing than you.

With that being said, my concern lies in disclaimers and restrictions being added to the ICO campaign AFTER I made my purchase.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: October 26, 2016, 07:53:30 PM
What's the status of any games in Development for GameCredits? I remember over the summer there were maybe 3 in development. Any word on where those are at?

Hi,

IMO we are focused on improvements of our API.Our coders works on log in solution(10000 users per one second). It will be done  in next couple days,

after that you all will be surprised,we are not develop any games(GameCredits is monetization system),we just work integration in real games(exist per years).

Our development team have more then 100 people now.

Best,

Nele

I see, what games has GameCredits been integrated into now? Or in the process of getting integrated into? I looked around a bit and saw some stuff in Chinese Markets, anything cool for American gamers yet?
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Spells of Genesis - Innovating the Game Economy with BitCrystals (BCY) on: October 26, 2016, 07:50:49 PM
Haven't been up to date with BCY in a bit. Has the main game launched? Still in beta or what? If it's out I'm ready to give it a shot lol

Do I need to be involved in Greek life to use this coin? Or can unaffiliated individuals still participate in the project?   Tongue

889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: October 26, 2016, 07:37:46 PM
SYS might be the pick of the year with innovations such as this: http://syscoin.org/multisignature-identity-system-syscoin-2-1-technical-update/

It might as well be. SYSCoin has many good features like the decentralized marketplace, among others which makes me wonder why its price is very low. This multisignature identity system will be a major breakthrough towards making SysCoin even better. Maybe soon, it will start to rise and those who would've bought them at cheap prices today will benefit when it goes to the moon.

Another good alt that could be considered worth buying would be TransferCoin (TX) and ZCash. Especially, ZCash which has a unique technology called zkSNARKS and it provides true anonymity. As for this last one, it may increase in price quickly after its launch this October 28, 2016 and thus you would've made huge returns by then. Just my opinion.  Smiley

yea zcash should be good agree with you there... i dunno what transfercoin is.

I saw an advertisement on Reddit for Zcash. No information was given other than the coin has shot up 5x in price. That's about as big of a red flag you can give prospective buyers, would not touch with a 10 foot pole.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: October 26, 2016, 07:36:28 PM
What do people think about the arguments in the following article:

http://www.libertylifetrail.com/2016/10/23/steemit_started_as_a_scam_and_only_got_worse/

Are they valid?

Steemit is the worst kind of crypto scam, the kind that preys on unsuspecting individuals OUTSIDE of the crypto community. When it first exploded in popularity, the new users came in the form of those unfamiliar with the crypto sphere. People were talking about getting their friends, SO's, and even mothers into Steemit. Absolutely unacceptable. Once the time and money invested by these unsuspecting users evaporates (which, for the most part, seems to already have), their faith in the overarching crypto sphere will be shaken, most likely beyond repair. Steemit is the same level as scum as Namecoin, Onecoin, and now Zcoin.

Steal does seem to be falling apart lately Look at how much the value has dropped and it keeps plummeting.
It makes me wonder if it is still worth blogging there. How many feel the same ? Are you going to still blog or slow down a little or completely stop.

I really didn't blog much, because it is not my gift. Lately, the rewards have been quite low. Few, if any, get the equivalent of $1000.00 or more daily. Only a handful get over $100.00. I wouldn't bother unless you can verify that you are the real Satoshi Nakamoto or maybe Gary Johnson. Cheesy

The problem is the mist of "THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR A BLOG POST WOW COOL!" has entirely worn out. Nobody is making 1k on posts because the thousands of others getting pennies have stopped contributing content. This was bound to happen, doomed from the start. I was ridiculed for explaining this at Steem's peak value, and look where it's gone since...
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero vs CloakCoin vs shadowcoinvs vs NAV Coin on: October 26, 2016, 07:18:01 PM
Only one of these 4 actually sees any kind of legitimate usage. I don't even think I have to say which one it is. Embarrassing to even put it in the same discussion as the other 3.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ltc/btc ready to launch? on: October 26, 2016, 07:16:30 PM
When was the last time Litecoin saw a reasonable pump due to actual support? IIRC the last few times it jumped up was due to Chinese manipulation of the currency. Do people even use it anymore? There are better Bitcoin alternatives nowadays...
895  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: October 26, 2016, 07:15:01 PM
I recently checked out 1xbit for the first time. Visually appealing layout and plenty of variety for sportsbook, definitely more than can be said of competing bitcoin sportsbooks. Will definitely give the site a try in the near future.
896  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-26] Bitfinex Seeks Communication With Bitcoin Thief on: October 26, 2016, 05:15:27 PM
It's funny how Bitfinex is making a fool (more than it already was) out of itself by doing this. It's a worthless and poor attempt to make it look like they are doing everything to get the coins back. Like seriously, a hacker steals an amount of coins that he secured himself a good rest of his life with, will contact Bitfinex and return the coins, with as result that all his efforts are gone to waste. It would be a pathetic hacker for sure. But then again, I still believe it was an inside job.

This news actually lends credence to the theory that it might be an inside job. Only in such a case, if the hacker was close to getting caught, would he even think of returning a part of the money. This doesn't make Bitfinex look good at all.

What a bumbling mess. If it is revealed that this hack was an inside job, it's tough for Bitcoin. No matter how decentralized and secure the system is, as long as we rely on humans to create and host BTC services, this shit will happen again and again.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: October 25, 2016, 06:51:04 PM
What is most fascinating about Monero is that its constantly evolving but the main core principles and parameters stay the same (privacy, scalability, emission curve etc), it keeps incorporating stuff that Bitcoin was suppose to like RingCT and now Compact blocks, I doubt there is a more promising fair launched cryptocurrency.

Pepe loves a coin that stays honest to its principles and doesn't throw them out at the first opportunity to make a profit.

Real hard to find such a coin nowadays. Altcoin board is dominated by ico scamcoins and cashgrab shitcoins. It's a damn shame.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⋞ANN⋟⋞TRAP⋟ TRAPCOIN | DEV | READ OP on: October 25, 2016, 06:49:10 PM
i guess it's time to restart the promotion and exposure of this coin, have it translated to some other languages to introduce the coin to those non-english community, i suggests to hire some translator to do the job, on that case hire me to do the Filipino translation.

Coin_Trader, stay tuned. I won't be needing a translation until the re-brand occurs. When it does I will be offering bounties for translation pages.

Just one of those coins that keeps us unsure if its dead or alive. -- Unwatching.. Maybe .. :p

I'm truly sorry that I disappointed you and others by making this coin appear dead. I will be starting a SLACK for this project later this evening. That way users can IM me directly so I receive notifications on my phone. As well as post frequent updates. I don't want people left in the dark here.

Glad to see you're back. Are you still planning to implement Trapcoin onto some Minecraft server? I'd still be interested in playing on it.

ICO ,
Make sure there is a rhyme in your poem and it is installed with some quality information so that every poem can show something special about itself rather than just a poem !

A coin that is sold before it's in motion,
ICO is the name of the notion.
Investors invest
They lose and they stress
But still more they spend- greed is their devotion.
