881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DIBS] DIBBITS |CRYPTO AUCTION PLATFORM| CS:GO | LUXURY - LIVE AT BITTREX on: June 24, 2015, 03:46:20 PM
I see a few salty and jealous traders in this thread. No I don't own any either but I'm not gonna bitch and whine because I wasn't in on it. One guy admitted he sold before them pump and was being honest. Everyone else is just salty trolling. I know if you bought the coin and its doing the exact same thing you wouldn't be in here bitching.  Roll Eyes
You have completely miss the whole point. So you think its fine for people to get scammed? What a guy Cheesy

No not scammed also not a "guy". Anyway its buyer be ware. Also "The point?" Seriously? You (all the whiners and trolls) could have bought into this at 120k yesterday and some did. now it is closer to 400k. Instead everyone that didn't buy was bitching and moaning. Right now they would be in profit. So missing the point is what you all did. Trading and making BTC. It's what is supposed to be done.

so buy scams in a hope that it'll gain 2000%?

what if it went other way and lost 2000% as soon as it was listed on trex?

see...smart trader wouldn't sneak their nose in everything that's pumping. You have to stick with old coins that have good community....you might make one time money with pump but sooner or later you'll lose everything..you might as well throw that money in casino instead of crypto. I've made my share of money from random pump but I've lost more than I've made so smart thing would be to stay away from shit coins and hope they disappear from crypto..for every one person that's making money from this shitcoin there are 1000 who are losing money...In long term it's bad for crypto as a whole because no one wants to get burned twice.

Not in this coin, but totally agree. You can get lucky in one of these, but it is hard to do it with much volume/profit as they won't pump it like this unless they totally control it. Nobody believes this nonsense at this point, I hope, so I suppose fair game and all, but there are way better options for spending/investing Bitcoin in Alts out there.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRON] Positron Technologies Corporation - Masternode Implementation on: June 24, 2015, 03:20:48 PM
I am not in this coin, but I would suggest just doing some part time crypto work if you can to subsidize yourself that way. (I am sure there are legit older coins that can use help here and there) You can also trade other coins for some profit, you would be at an advantage as a coder being able to check code. I don't think some clowns making a lot of money with a Boats and Hookers coin means that is a good thing or a viable model to follow. Best of luck!
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: June 24, 2015, 01:18:40 PM
Today again delayde payments. What's wrong? Can someon from dev team can explain situation?

The basic deal is that it isn't all perfectly automated, things have to happen, and there are delays now and then with node payments. There never was any guaranteed time for it and it is pretty much done as soon as they get it out. There are no new problems or new concerns that are any different from people asking why their payment was late months ago. Exact same situation, I don't see anything new. I guess the best thing to do is expect delayed payments with nodes if you are running them, then you will not be disappointed. I am not in charge of node payments and I don't even run any nodes though. (Although I do pass on concerns)

Argentbits swtiched over from Dogeparty to Horizon today, for a little news. Of course we are very happy about this and welcome them to HZ! Smiley
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: June 22, 2015, 10:18:58 PM
As for me, I believe in the horizon. Don't panic. All payments will be paid. Soon))

Yes, you are right.
But my problem is, that from the devs we get rarely or no information.

In this thread people mostly want to talk about node payments, and there are basically just a couple people that deal with that, I am not one of them, and it is actually hard to talk about anything else here since this is very important to many people. Personally I don't even run any nodes so I am not the best to help with it. I do know that the payments get made and that there are glitches. I think it is safe to assume that is pretty standard at this point.

If anyone wants to talk about anything else, we are listening. If it is about node payments, I am sure they are on their way.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: June 22, 2015, 08:59:05 PM
"nothing new in 4 months:
https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/tree/develop"

Best to stick to the facts rather than trying to get in early. Nothing new in 4 months seems pretty self explanatory. Someone was hyping ANC to me big time back with the Zerocoin stuff, none of it real, all BS. I won't buy in again until there is new code and a good reason. I think it has a good name though, and sort of a first mover advantage.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [VRC] | VeriCoin | POS-NSDI | VeriBit | VeriSend | VeriSMS | SuperNET Core on: June 22, 2015, 08:03:09 PM
Many of us including me most of the time are critical with the VRC devs, questioning their ability, skills and commitment to the coin. I think we need to view their work in the context of digital currency software development as a whole. The context is that the lead developer of Vertcoin, the shining star of the charts is a 17 years old school boy who is right now as we speak preparing for his A level exams. In contrast what we thought it is, this is crypto and digital currency right now. 17 years old school boys are the developers and low life scammers pumping and dumping the coins.

I heard the VTC dev was taking time off to have a kid, and was the last dev left for VTC. Clearly there are some major pumps coming out of China that have nothing to do with development of what many of us look at for value. VRC has managed a slot on Jubi, which is impressive, but of course there is dubious volume there. FYI, For all the coins out there this seems an odd target for hating, but whatever, had my orders filled at 6k I would have made a ton on VRC yet again, but they never filled.

(also amusing some people reposted a poll I had in my Crypto group here, that was an attempt at humor more than anything serious...)
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XARBT] Announcement: ArgenBits on: June 22, 2015, 06:30:21 PM
How does this coin use another coins blockchain network? Is this a sidechain coin?
Hello! Thanks for your question.
The DogeParty platform is similar to Counterparty. Do you know about Counterparty?

I've heard of it but never really looked into it. I will now. Smiley

https://horizonplatform.io

There is a link for Horizon. I think it is cool they will be paying out dividends in HZ. Smiley

About 12,000 blocks are left till the poll finishes so please vote asap.

Where do I vote? (Uhm, the wallet I use for NXT is mynext.info)
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PotCoin | GROW WITH US | BANKING FOR THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY | on: June 17, 2015, 09:33:09 PM
I think its too early to say that they missed it already...

But I think there are several coins on a good shape and promising future right now. The thing is, you have to be able to invest a good amount of btcs...

If/when Potcoin takes off people will notice.

And for what reason?

China is back and it seems they like Earthcoin?
892  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2015, 02:18:41 AM
I had been running on online business for many years and we had international sales on it, with a fair amount of scams and chargebacks internationally. I believe it was in 2013 I was chargeback/scammed one final time, and I was really pissed off about it. Paypal or Western Union were pretty much the only options, and WU was a pain to use and get customers to use, and Paypal ALWAYS sided with the scammers. I did some research to see if there was any new technology like a digital cash out there, and found there was something new called "Bitcoin," although it was mostly being used for underground activities at the time. I figured out how to buy 2 BTC to test it, I think they were around $85 each at the time. In a week I noticed they were worth twice as much! Then I became obsessed with what I still believe will be the replacement for Paypal and WU for international remittances and online digital cash world wide. It was like discovering the internet was coming before most anyone else. Still hooked!

New NXTTY Market on Bter (NXTTY/CNY) moves price up

https://bter.com/trade/nxtty_cny

What other markets do you think NXTTY could trade against?...please PM me if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.

Cny on Jubi.com or btc38.com.

Totally agree, I also bought back in on NXTTY. Grats on the CNY pairing for BTER!
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZCHRONOS] Horizon HZ Asset - 1517 Colored Coins - Crypto Service Asset on: June 14, 2015, 04:12:18 PM
A new 30 day promo for Bitcoin FOREX and CFD trading went live today with HZchronos, and another 30 HZchronos have been sent to the Genesis Account. (Burned) -- We are also looking into having the burned amount subtracted in the explorer and HZxchange (although everything is trackable with the blockchain this would make it easier for people to verify what is happening), it is technically possible, so I just need the NXT/HZ coder guys to take care of it for us. This hopefully will happen in the future.

Now only 1517 HZchronos Remain.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PotCoin | BANKING FOR THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY | NEW WEBSITE | ROADMAP on: June 12, 2015, 08:40:11 PM
any speculation on what POSv means for Potcoin?  I've been away from the scene for a while and still have not fully caught up yet.

Reddcoin did it in the past and was extremely successful for a time with the move, and I think always remained at a much higher price than when they were POW. They are more of a direct competitor with Dogecoin, and also sort of focused on Reddit and social media. Potcoin was the first Marijuana based coin, so having POSv would be a huge positive I think. This would remove future POW mining concerns and network stability concerns, as lots and lots of people would be likely to stake/grow their Potcoins. Combined with solid marketing and planning, people could gain interest on the potcoins (get free pot) - as the value of Potcoin itself also grows. Clearly I believe in it enough that I bought back in once I heard about the new direction. (POSv was a big part of why I bought back in)

Not to be underestimated, this also gives Potcoin a solid answer for the question, "why not just use Bitcoin?" - Clearly any retailers would also accept Bitcoin, but having a staking coin that provides interest, and has rewards, is doing something unique from Bitcoin, giving more reason for Potcoin to be desired. Those accepting Potcoin could also stake it, making profit if they hold it.

posting while we're riding this pump, since it's still not falling
3700% gains so far (from the flat bottom)

Some people have a lot of money and it is hard to predict what they will do with it, at least they are pumping a good coin I guess, way after I sold of course.. haha. Best of luck to the Verters. VTC is a good coin.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [VNL] Vanillacoin 0.2.8 | WPX | ECC | O(1) routing | Miner/CoinPP | Fast TXs on: June 08, 2015, 11:23:16 PM
Is there some code review planned for this coin ? It's probably pure genius but having official opinions from trusted crypto experts would be a must  Smiley

how 0 confirmation can be safely achieved ?
level of anonimity ?
etc...

most people can't understand how vnl works (me) and we need techy voices to explain it i think  Smiley

from memory there was a bitcoin core dev doing a review. You might have to get in contact with CryptoClub for more info.

Not sure if I mentioned it here, but a Bitcoin dev I know is doing a code review for Vanillacoin. Funny thing, he was commenting in my group about some other coin he didn't approve of code-wise, and I explained I can't really do code reviews and I just go on the fundamentals. Anyway, he want's to help out the crypto scene and is working on the code review for Vanillacoin. Super technical and it will be a paper, but what I know so far is it definitely isn't a scam based on sheer amount of work, and he agrees it "shines" compared to most alts. He had some pros and cons, and I tried to explain it was still in progress and being worked on. Anyway, it was good enough news that I bought more. Smiley

When it is done I will publish on my website cryptocollectorsclub.com, and in the group link at the bottom of my sig. I asked him to do SDC next just as I have always been curious how good or bad the code is on that as well.

I was excited about it but then it seems I should have just kept it to myself rather than sharing as soon as I had info. Main point is the dev and I both are 100% sure the work is way too in depth to be anything other than legit, and that was really why I asked him to look at it in the first place. If he ever actually gets it done I will certainly share it however.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZCHRONOS] Horizon HZ Asset - 1583 Colored Coins - Crypto Service Asset on: June 08, 2015, 09:05:55 PM

HZchronos shot up over 600%! Very nice! HZchronos has NEVER fallen below the initial price, and has only increased in price, value, and utility. Each 30 day promotion is also permanently added to http://www.cryptocollectorsclub.com - and with over 4500 members now in the CCC, we just keep growing and getting stronger! Every time HZchronos is used for promotions, they are burned and removed. I have been into cryptos and Bitcoin for years and will keep this going along with Horizon as long as possible, as I am a believer and not just someone trying to make a quick buck. This is a real long term project, and the numbers speak for themselves. Smiley
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: June 08, 2015, 08:35:13 PM
Perhaps I have not understood it,
or I have not searched long enough,

OR this is a feature request ...

Where can I see my own asset trades history?

So e.g.:

wallet ... asset exchange ... hzchronos ... trade history ... only me

I seem to have sold some
( thx for that amazing ROI; it was actually me who had started those "sell at 10 fold", "sell at 20 fold" offers - and now I got rewarded for that. Very nice. Thanks! ) ...

... but I cannot find the exact transactions anywhere.
Not even in my own transactions list.

Suddenly there is extra money in my account, and I could not find any way to look up where it actually came from.

Happy about any hint that might help me. I could think about writing my own script somehow - but I think this (personal trading history) is a useful function for the wallet, isn't it?

and another wish:
in transactions, only the past 100 tx are shown. Perhaps in ... settings, I would like to be able to choose more than that.

THX!

My asset HZchronos has gone up over 600% since release! I am very happy about that! The great thing about HZchronos is that it has real world utility and value, making it extremely long term. Since it also gets burned, or sent to genesis block whenever used (oblivion forever), it also gets more rare as demand increases. This was designed for lasting increasing value and as a way to help support HZ, and was basically the most effective asset I could make with my unique access to large numbers of crypto traders.

I posted about the new Potcoin plans in my crypto group, and people are extremely excited about it! I really like the ideas and new direction here. Potcoin was the first and I think very honest, with the right marketing and direction, I think there is serious potential here! Buying and mining, and recommending.
