901  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: June 09, 2023, 05:00:59 AM
Being a family man without any income is not easy, especially if those income sources are unreliable.

Nowadays, finding a job is exceedingly tough, and even if you are fortunate enough to obtain one, you might not be able to locate a position that pays well.

Even though the compensation is modest, I would advise your friend to accept the job offer and to keep looking for a better opportunity so that he may immediately switch to it when he finds one with a higher pay rate.it is better to have where we are seen little than waiting for the opportunity of big one that is not certain.

it is very difficult to meet the needs of family life if you only expect from one source of income, if a man has a family then there are very many expenses that cannot be controlled and therefore he is required to be able to find additional income with whatever is possible.
for me personally, i try to find a job with steady income even if it's small and after that i try to make extra money in my spare time.
I do this to minimize the risk if I am unable to work, sick or other things then my family must continue to live.
as a man who has a family, he is indeed guided by many things to be able to make his family happy and one of the ways is to have a lot of money.
One source of income will only be sufficient if your job is high paying. But if you're a minimum wage earner that's not really enough to sustain the needs of the family. However, at the time of crisis that you're really in need of job to provide for the needs of your loved ones, this is not the time to be choosy. If there's an opportunity then grab it while looking for a better job. Because it's wise to have a small salary than to have nothing at all.

This is the reason why it's important to have a savings (while you're still earning) to have money in times of emergency. But we will only realize the value of saving (and investing) if we're at the point of our lives experiencing hardship and struggling financially because we didn't see this coming. So don't wait for it to happen, save and invest now, look for ways to maximize your earnings while you're still young and capable to work.

902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: June 09, 2023, 02:44:51 AM
Bitcoin will go to $ 40 if $ 30k is reached and stays above it,
if it is still below $ 30k then I myself still hesitate to say $ 40k is ready for Bitcoin,
especially in a bear market all bad news is very sensitive, it can be seen that Bitcoin has fallen from $ 30k to $ 25k ,
yes -$5k in just a short time.
Don't worry because the price increase will take time and a long process. There is some strong resistance right now which is expected to be penetrated and I believe it will never be easy. The market is still being hit by negative issues due to the Binance and SEC dispute, but I believe the market will recover slowly and will come back strong afterwards.

Now just do what you have to do like prepare yourself and adjust to the risks you have to face. The bitcoin price may improve soon and it will be more convincing ahead of the halving. I expect $40k to be achievable over the rest of the year, so of course accumulating it now is the best solution.
I'm worried about the price it's at right now if it's going to dump again or if it's going to go up. I was hoping we'd see the price of bitcoin back to 40k$ by the end of this year but I'm not sure with the market conditions I'm seeing.  It is unlikely that Bitcoin will increase in price in a few months. But hopefully sometime this year we will see Bitcoin break 40$k again.
Because of the negative news circulating and affecting Bitcoin and crypto as a whole, we can expect the price to move downward or sideways due to fear of investors who are not used to seeing Bitcoin declining. So I think it's not the time yet to see the price consistently increase and reach $40k in the coming weeks/months. However it's not going to last long since halving is also near, if there's a good news that can affect the price to move upward then it might be the end of bear season.

Nevertheless, it's not impossible to reach $40k price before this year end or even higher, we just need to wait and have more patience. Thus, don't be discourage if the price is not moving the way you expect it to be. if you're a long term hodler, then don't mind the current price and continue to hold.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: June 09, 2023, 01:22:44 AM
2017 was the peak of bounty hungting and most of the bounty there was paid and the reward was really big compared to thousand of bounties these days. Although still there was some scam projects and didn't make it from ICO to the exchanges but still you got decent rewards from there, compared to today it's really sad.
That's right. Many bounties are profitable before, because the rewards given to hunters had value after getting listed on exchanges. Yes there are also scam projects, but plenty of those are not scam, the reason why joining in bounties before are worth it even it takes months before you can receive your rewards and enjoy the earnings after selling.

Bounty hunters can't be recognized as investors because you don't invest anything(money) into the projects. That's the core key of investment, if you pay something to buy some assets for hoping to get some bigger return then that's called investment.
Well, hunters didn't invest money but they exert an effort to get paid. Investors and bounty hunters are different but when it comes to patience there's a similarity since both needs to become patient to gain.

904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: June 08, 2023, 08:59:05 AM
I believe bitcoin and banks are well renounced investment platforms but many people prefer bitcoin investment despite is very risky because of high demands and rising price interest and banks on the other hand saves millions of people finances all over the world yet their investment interest is very small but less risky than bitcoin. Which do you preferred your money to be save in as investment? Bitcoin or bank! What's your reason?
Bitcoin. Aside from the potential profit if you invest for long term, it is much safer (if you use a non-custodial wallet) because you're the one in control as long as you keep your keys securely. On the other side, you can't grow your money in banks due to the very low interest even you keep it there for years. So it's not really a good investment if you want to gain huge.

Anyway, for many of us who used to the movement of Bitcoin and aware of how it works, we know it's worth it even it can take a long period before we can see the result. Of course it's not guaranteed so one should be prepared for the outcome and only invest what you can live without.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: June 08, 2023, 06:12:41 AM
A few days ago, I saw a KOL with a large number of fans on Twitter. He was recommending a project recommended by many KOLs. As long as he followed his guidelines, he could get more airdrop tokens. As a result, when I clicked on the link, connect When my little fox wallet is signed and confirmed, my assets will be reset to zero. I checked the data on the chain, and in a short period of time, he actually defrauded more than 20,000 US dollars in digital currency, which is terrible.
Don't trust anyone and don't connect your wallet easily (especially if you have funds in it) just because you want to get some airdrop tokens. If this KOL is posting links to scam others, there's also a chance the account is hacked and was used by scammers to attract the people.

Hence, don't easily bite what they're offering and always take time to verify if it's reliable. Scammers are everywhere so if you don't want to end up becoming a victim then DYOR and don't be easily attracted in airdrops.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 08, 2023, 12:53:17 AM
What is your honest take on bitcoin lending? Too risky, won't try it? Too risky, will give it a try?
It is too risky because there's always a possibility that you'll not be repaid to the loan you've given. Lending is solely for people who are willing to take the risk and aware of the consequences if ever the borrower didn't pay. I experienced to be a lender (though it's fiat) many times and got disappointed because some people are never true to their words. So if you can't bear losing your money then lending is not for you.

Due to this I will chose to just hold my Bitcoin rather than to lend it to increase my holdings. Because it's less stress on my part incase worst thing happened. So I think it depends for each of us. But if you want to be a lender it's wise to ask for a valid collateral so you have assurance.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 07, 2023, 09:03:59 AM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.
I can lose my Bitcoin if I gamble it so it's not a good idea if the Government decided to ban crypto trading. There's an alternative way if you really want to keep your Bitcoin (like what others already pointed out here) thus to gamble it is not only the option.

Anyway, if this happened in our country I might convert my Bitcoin to cash because I don't want to go against the rules of the Government. Then if I want to gamble, I will just use fiat as currency. Good thing this scenario is unlikely to happen here so it's not something to be worried about.
908  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: June 07, 2023, 04:30:08 AM
I think 2FA and SMS verification are already enough safety precautions for securing casino account. We usually don’t leave balance on our casino account so I don’t see this security concerns as major concern. I’m gambling since 2016 via online casino and I didn’t experience even a single case that my is hacked. I don’t use any extra security aside from my password on my account.
Same here. I'm not leaving a huge amount in my casino account therefore I don't think I need an extra layer of security to make sure that it won't be hacked. But this depends how much funds we are talking about here because if you're a whale gambler, certainly you need to protect your funds and account to make sure that you will not become a victim of a hacker.

Nevertheless we need to become extra careful and always double check the link to be certain that we're on the official website.
909  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 07, 2023, 12:54:47 AM
Medyo malaki nga yang difference in which pabor pa din sa coins but there is  Binance p2p in which walang dahilan bakit kailangan pa nating dumirekta sa local wallets kung meron namang exchange na mas madali at malaki ang palitan.

Kamusta experience?
910  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 06, 2023, 11:16:07 AM
In other casinos, it's usually a trap, they don't put terms and conditions that sometimes people are lazy to read, but this is where the importance of gambling is not to be too passionate about doing things in a hurry, for example making a deposit without having to do casino research.
It's the gambler's responsibility to do their own research before playing on a casino. If you blindly gamble without conducting a research and not reading a reviews (because you're attracted on their bonuses or promotions) then the gambler is the one at fault for not being careful incase the casino is shady and not trusted.

So just like what we always remind to the gamblers especially to newbies, always read the casino's ToS. Hence if you don't agree with their rules, you're free to look for other casinos where you can gamble without issues.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 06, 2023, 09:28:54 AM
The last two (10 and 11) on the list are the key to keeping us from chasing losses and being addicted to gambling.  I believe gambling isn't a simple matter and it needs a lot of preparation and understanding to avoid bad consequences, not saying, it also requires a lot of self-discipline to keep us in check.
In gambling it's really important that you can bear facing losses and can control yourself when it's time to stop playing. This is to avoid further problems like trying to chase back your losses and possibly becoming addicted. Understanding gambling and the chances to gain from it is crucial. Because if you have high expectation to win, you might use a money that meant for important things. That's a situation that we don't want to happen because it's a big problem if you lose.

So what do you think about the list of instructions stated by the article, are they good enough to keep a person to have an edge against the gambling platform?
These tips are helpful. We can minimize our losses by playing in moderation. Because there's no strategy that can work in gambling however we can use our knowledge if you're playing a skills based game (depending on the games you prefer). Nevertheless, gamble with main desire of to have fun and not to win huge. So you're not after winning but to satisfy yourself.

Aside from this, anyone remember the guess the slot contest? That's pretty cool too. I remember joining on this contest and only managed to won once. The other users are so good in guessing the slot. The price is also generous similar to guess the total wager. I miss these contests of them.

But anyway, Roobet is already an established casino. So even without these contests, the fact remains that they're reputable and well known to many gamblers here.
Remember this game and it makes people to see the whole game around roobet since the clue is unclear and it make the participant to see the every details of games which benefit to roobet since it simply make those people aware that those games exist.

Might be good is roobet will launch back this game since this is one of exciting game they open up here then for sure many people will remember this and again join the fun since its exciting to find up the whole pic base on the clue given.
Many users here are looking forward for Roobet to launch back these contests again but I think they have reasons why they already stop the contest. Maybe because they are already satisfied with the result of those promotions. Anyway they still have sig campaigns and of course the consistent art contest with generous prizes as well. It's good see the artworks of our talented artists here on the forum. The latest contest has no winners yet so i'm excited to know who are the winners this time.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: June 06, 2023, 12:59:36 AM
Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.
It's usual for investors to find a new projects to give them huge return once the bullrun occur. Example is meme coins, if you happen to invest earlier when it's not yet popular then it managed to climb up after being hype, this can give the early investors huge return. However, it's not advisable because of the risk associated with it that you can lose your money if you buy at a wrong time.

Amyway to answer your question don't buy just any alts to gain huge. It's crucial that you have an idea about the particular coin that you'd like to invest in. Find coins that has potential and unlikely to be delisted in exchanges. If you want to join the ride investing in coins that can possibly give you huge return like meme coins then only invest what you can afford to lose. Because investing in these alts are more risky compared to investing in coins that are already existing for years.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 05, 2023, 08:25:17 AM
The topic still has a lot of interest from the readers of the forum. After all, who wouldn't want to win $100 stable every day for the rest of their lives? Or rather earn. Everyone would like that. The advantage of online gambling is that you can gamble anywhere in the world and therefore generate money everywhere. But we really shouldn't call it work. There used to be card counters in the casino, but since shuffling machines have been introduced, that is no longer possible. Could there really be people who could be successful in a casino in the long run? That is, a passive and stable income?

The thing is that you can actually have that $100 being generated every day, you just need to create something of value that people want, and you'll get that.

Say you create a digital course for $25, and if it's popular you'll get at least 4 sales a day, so there you would have that $100 a day.
To earn $100, one must choose either a job or a business. Even if he doesn't earn that much daily in his job, he can earn an average of $100 per month if he is well experienced. And even if he is a good businessman, $100 a day is very simple if the business grows. But the truth is that in gambling it is never possible. In this fact there is a high chance of failure while expecting to make big profit while there is also a chance of sudden big income. So one should never think of making such income by gambling.
Gambling should not be treated as a way to earn money because of the house edge, instead it's possible to lose than to gain. There might be an experienced gamblers who are able to earn through gambling but majority didn't make it to win consistently. Hence, it's a mistake to think that gambling can give you a daily profit as a gambler, unless you're an investor on the casino or earning through affiliate program as what Darker45 said.

Anyway, it's much reliable to find a real job to earn a stable income. If you have talent or skills, try building a business, though this requires a decent capital. But still, it's way better than relying on gambling.

916  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 05, 2023, 03:03:53 AM
Gambling is a choice we did it with our own decision there is nothing that we would say could change it.
We gamble to gain something from it even though we are aware that we could lose rather than gaining what we want.
That is the risk that we took when we decided to gamble, so we must bare the consequence of it.
Exactly. When you decided to gamble your money be aware of the consequences. The problem is, if you didn't expect to lose your money because of your thinking that you can double or triple it when you gamble. Many gamblers are regretting they gamble their money after losing it in snap. Some even did worse like asking for loan, stealing money or selling their kid (rare case) to sustain their addiction. Gambling is not for weak people who can't handle losses, it's important that you know the risk before playing. Moreover, don't gamble anywhere, look for physical/online casinos that are reputable and unlikely to be a scam so you won't get trick easily and lose more money.
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: June 05, 2023, 01:38:16 AM
We regret about missing Bitcoin, then about XRP then about Ethereum then Doge then Shiba then Pepe (these are some top of my head and from what I've come across in my crypto term).

Point being there are always new opportunities and dwelling on regrets is futile.

There's really no point dwelling on the past and regrets. Accept that you missed the opportunity to invest at cheaper price and move on because there's always a perfect time again to take advantage a certain crypto at its earlier stage. But it's not late if you still want to buy these coins you mentioned (aside from meme coins because it's not worth the risk) especially Bitcoin since it's the primary crypto that we should invest in.

On the other side, be careful in choosing what altcoins to include in your portfolio. Don't regret if you're not able to join the ride of the hyped coin because it's quite risky. What if it didn't soar high? You'll also regret buying it and wasted your money. So only choose an established coins before considering to invest on meme coins.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 04, 2023, 10:05:18 AM
How many times have you successfully invited some gamblers to online casino? What is your experience doing so? I know many will find this hard to believe but I kinda prefer bringing in gamblers than investors into crypto, why? They understood the risk already, there is no talk and talk over again, there is no dealing with someone fear and confidence..
Well, i'm not the type who will encourage someone to gamble. Because similar on investing, I don't want to be held responsible if something went wrong or if they lose their money for being out of control. However, I do recommend the casinos where I usually gamble since they're trusted and proven as not scam. But this is only for my friends who are asking where I usually play and what platform I can recommend. Anyway, I agree that introducing gambling is much easy compared to investing since less explanation for people who like to gamble.

The thing is, they are small time winners and big time losers, I mean they lose more than winning, it's been two weeks and two of them tell me about their loss and gains, but they make it feel normal, to them it really is, not like the crypto investors today, always in hurry to double their money, some are even scared of investing in Bitcoin, which is the safest of them all.
If they're losing big but it seems like nothing happened then probably they're aware that such scenario in gambling is likely to happen, so it's not surprising for them. As long as they're playing in moderation and not desperate to win then you don't have to concern yourself.
919  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 04, 2023, 08:18:53 AM
Yes you are right that mate and that's the reason why every casino have their rules and regulations or let say terms and condition cause if they give you a bonus then some casino have a task before you can claim it. But some of them that they required specific amount to deposit in order to have or to get that bonuses. So after signing up to or before creating an account then we must research a little bit what is that casino all about if they are trusted or not.
Not in all cases they have such requirements but like deposit bonus most of them have wagering requirements as well withdrawal limits also so nobody abuses these free deposit bonuses and safeguard their interest as well. You should have reviews about casino before signing up and depositing your funds over to know whether it's legit or not.
There's nothing wrong if you get attracted to a casino's bonus and promotion for their new players. But as you've said it's important that you take time reading the reviews of the particular casino to know the experience of the other gamblers especially in the bonuses/promotions offered.

Moreover it would be better to stop relying on these bonuses because certainly it has wagering requirements before you can withdraw your earnings. So if you want to try the casino, just deposit a small amount to experience playing on their platform and see if you'll be satisfied on their services and unique games (if any) that make them stand out to other competitors.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 04, 2023, 03:51:53 AM
Now, the question is.... Will you still use a VPN, if it is not allowed by the ToS on the site. What will you do if they "block" your account and take your balance?
If stated on the casino's ToS that the use of VPN is not allowed then I will not risk my account because it can cause future problems if caught. There are casinos not prohibiting the use of VPN, and there are games that I can't access here in our country due to the provider's restriction but I opted not to bypass it to be able to play.

It would be better to follow the rules of the casino to prevent having headaches and worries. Because if you happen to win huge, certainly there's a procedure to follow for you to withdraw your winnings. Hence, if you violate any rules stated on their ToS, it's going to be a problem and your fault for not following it.
