921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at the edge of death on: March 05, 2016, 12:08:24 PM
I don't think bitcoin is close to death at all.

It is possible that at some point in the future, Bitcoin is not the number 1 cryptocurrency, but in that world Crypto would be far more accepted and used than here and now, so I expect the actual value of Bitcoin might be higher than it currently is.

It is a worry to me that someone with a few thousand USD can block transactions in a global currency quite effectlively for a few hours.  That should not be the case, it should at least be difficult to do!

Although China is the silent BTC powerhouse, I am not convinced that they really contribute much to the currency, other than mining and selling!
922  Economy / Speculation / Re: You got screwed once again on: March 05, 2016, 08:21:48 AM
Kuckuck started trolling, buying time  Cheesy

I don't ever really consider selling Bitcoin.  The price is fairly flat and has been for a while (in bitcoin terms)  I think the next big move will be upwards, so if the price flutters up and down in the near future, that isn't really a big issue to me.

I do keep my eyes open for the fundamentals of bitcoin changing.  Certain alts are slightly worrying for Bitcoin at the moment, that along with the full blocks and lack of leadership in Bitcoin, but I am still happy enough that Bitcoin will continue to grow and has a very low total value for something that is used globally.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 05, 2016, 08:08:50 AM
Tottenham v Arsenal looks like a great game!  They both lost in the week, but Tottenham have the better form and seem well set up to beat Arsenal.
At 2.4 or better, I think Tottenham look a really good bet here.

I do think that Newcastle at home against Bournemouth at 2.6 seem long.  I know they are dreadful (unfortunately) but Bournemouth had a loong journey up north and Newcastle are due.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 05, 2016, 08:03:35 AM
Away from the main game of the day, Stuttgart have been blowing hot and cold recently, very hot for a few games, followed bay very cold for the last 2.  They are at home against Hoffenheim today, and I think they will lose given their last 2 games.

Tomorrow is Mainz v Darmstadt in the local derby.  Mainz will be flying after a very very unexpected win midweek against Bayern.  They threw away the win away against Darmstadt earlier this season, I think they will confortably win tomorrow.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 04, 2016, 09:41:52 AM
Hello guys, this is my 13th bet in Premier League Prediction

The 13th single bet will be the match between Manchester City - Aston Villa
Starting time of match is at 05.03. 15:00 PM (forum time)

The event can be found here :
https://vegascasino.io/sportsbook/pre-live/event/xZ5ms6KicBATiua44?=tipster3

Match:Manchester City - Aston Villa
Betting option:Manchester City and over 2.5
Odd:1.68
Stake:0.015 BTC (15 mBTC)
Return:0.0251 BTC (25,1mBTC)

Proof:

Why i choosed this match:

We chose this pick because, Manchester City has a lot more at stake, and after a tight schedule, Aston Villa came at the right time to help them return into top 3. Aston Villa is well deserved last team on the table, with catastrophe defense, and Man. City will only prove that they are much more superior team compare to them.

i think it's a bit risky to bet on ober 2.5 because i belleive that Aston Vlilla won't score and City have to score the three goals atleast so i think it will be better to bet to win and keeping a clean sheet

I don't think so. Should be an easy match for manchester city and over 2.5 goals. I'm sure this match will have many goals at leasy 3 goals.

For a minute I thought Man City were 1.68 to beat Villa at home!  I know they are not on great form, and like to lose when they should win, but that would be crazy!
I think your bet has a decent chance of winning, but with the win and over I don't see it as anything special.

Good luck though, I will wait for the north London derby before betting this weekend (on the EPL).
926  Economy / Economics / Re: Capital controls in China. No effect on Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 09:35:52 AM
To be honest, we don't need the rich guys to use bitcoin to move their money out of China, we need one or two!
The total value of Bitcoin might be too low for someone to really move wealth around, but if one Billioniare moved a few hundred million into bitcoin, the price would skyrocket.

That is a good thing for bitcoin, but maybe a bad thing for the investor.  I personally wouldn't be too keen to buy into an Alt if I thought that I needed to pay say 20% higher than market rate, because my buy was too big for the market!
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 03, 2016, 07:45:46 PM
Still 2 days to go for the big game in Bundesliga but I've already placed my bet.
Dortmund vs Bayern --> Dortmund wins (odd 3,05)

As a supporter of the blackyellow I hope they will win and make once again the battle for the championship exciting.
81.000 fans will go crazy.I expect a great game and amazing atmosphere.
Don't miss to watch this game if you can. It's going to be a clash of the 2 best teams in Germany.

Big match incoming. Dortmund vs Bayern, i think Dortmund +0.5 seems good though and also under 2.5 goals. I'm sure this match will be draw.

I think Bayern will be ready for this one after their midweek embarassment.
I would take Bayern -1.

There is the leaving manager syndrome that happened with Alex Ferguson, but I don't think that will happen with Bayern, or at least not yet.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15btc transaction fee, big mistake on: March 03, 2016, 08:59:05 AM
even a fee with 15 btc will not make his transaction more faster than any other people with proper fees,i assume the sender forget to set the currency in USD so he think he's sending right amount of fees with value 15 USD  while he didn't realize that the currency still bitcoin

I would guess that they wanted to increase the fee they pay due to the full blocks problem at the moment.  Maybe they wanted 1.5mBTC or even 15mBTC as a fee, but messed it up.

It is a fairly crazy problem to have, on the one hand it is awful for the person who sent it.
On the other hand, they had at least 18BTC, so probably aren't poor!  Hopefully they are very well off and won't miss $6k
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 03, 2016, 07:42:36 AM
Good news for leicester city! Haha
Manchester city lost to liverpool 0-3
Tottenham lost to west ham 0-1
Arsenal lost to Swansea 1-2

What a matchday! 3 games has unexpected result, all favorite teams lost.
But it makes leicester position secure , they have +3 points from tottenham , +6 points from arsenal, +10 points from manchester city and manchester united .
And 10 match to go to make leicester dream come true!

Step by step of luck always helps Leicester City to stay on track champions.
I'm sure no one thinks of all the top teams lost despite playing at home but in fact that is what happened  Cheesy EPL still leaves 10 games I hope luck is always with Leicester until the end of the season and they were crowned as champions EPL I wanted to see a new champion in the history list EPL
Yeah leicester this season full of luck, many people think Leicester wouldn't survive even for half season but hey here they are on top of table and close to be a champion.
Everyone wanted leicester to win BPL as they know it would better than to see same champion each year.
A breakthrough made by leicester city should be a motivation / role model to another mediocre teams in other league like spanish , France and German league that for years dominated by same team.

That seems hardsh, they play good football and have been consistent so far.
I think they are lucky in that the league is weak this season, but they are the best or one of the best teams in the weak league.

We will see if they can hold it, but I don't see why not.  It is similiar to when Newcastle were top all those years ago, except we chased down by a SAF led Man Utd, not Tottenham and mediocre Man City/Arsenal!
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 03, 2016, 07:39:02 AM
Bayern München 1 - 2 Mainz 05 i couldnt belive this result really teribble i lost today so much for this match and i cant except this score how Bayern can lost at home so so so interesting

I don't think many people can believe this one!  Mainz are a decent team, but they are generally fodder for Bayern.
That being said, they are now joint 4th!  Maybe they are constantly underrated.

I don't think many people realise just how small a club Mainz05 is though.  They basically sell every player they get who turns out to be decent!  They never spend meaningful amounts of money. They are like Southampton but without superstars or money!

I think that people are selling up to buy ETH and other ETH related Alts.
I assume that is the case anyway, the price kind of sucks at the moment though.

The amount invested in JD seems high still, so hopefully not too much invested money is moving out too.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 02, 2016, 08:04:27 PM
My team mainz are winning at bayern at half time!  We were doing that 2 seasons ago too I think, but they came out and scored 2 in about 8 minutes and we got fairly soundly beaten.

I don't expect much else to happen today, Bayern will turn on the style for a few minites and we will lose.  I hope I am wrong though!
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 02, 2016, 08:01:59 PM
I am late to the party tonight, but it is still 0-0 so I think it is ok to make my prediction still.
After their long break, I think newcastle will win tonight against Stoke.

Tottenham are currently losing 1-0 but I think they will fight back, not for the win this time, but a 2-2 draw should still be on

I just want to ask if how long it will take for me enrolled with your campaign I already post a reply a week ago and still waiting if you will grant my application. Thank you
First complete all formalities then post here your data after this you wait for update in spreadsheet in current position he is not going to add you here in this campaign

Does he actually update the spreadsheet?  I (hopefully) joined a week ago, have done everything right, but haven't heard anything, or been added to the excel sheet.

It looks like no one has been added since I joined, so maybe he is just not updating the form anymore.  Some sort of confirmation would be nice though.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 01, 2016, 08:21:47 PM
I am very tempted to try to ride this bubble, even though I know it is dangerous.
It could easily fall 70% in the next day or 2, but the price could also double.

I am not usually one for trying to turn a quick trade, but I might give it a go here..
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 01, 2016, 01:28:58 PM
Another exciting match Norwich City VS Chelsea. Chelsea is currently being fought up to the top of the standings at least finish in the top 4 for that they have to win all remaining games but because today Chelsea play away I chose both teams to score.

Away or home game shouldnt be a problem for chelsea in the upcoming match against norwich. Norwich has fail in most of their game so there is a high probability that chelsea is going to win the game. Chelsea has been good enough in most of their recent match, it is not great however but it should be enough if they are facing norwich.

I think that leicester might just slip up tonight against WBA.  I think they should be good for a draw, but I have a feeling that they won't win.
Chelsea seem very likely to win, I'd take Soton, Draw in the Villa vs Everton game and Sunderland too.

It seems like so long since Newcastle played, it is crazy!
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me why Satoshi Nakamoto didn't spend a Satoshi from his 1 Mio BTC on: March 01, 2016, 01:24:26 PM
Why can it not be that he has morals and doesn't want to hugely profit from essentially premining Bitcoin?
The whole idea of bitcoin is that it is for the people, if the creator crashed the market by selling out for a few million dollars, that wouldn't make him or his idealogy look very good!

I would assume that someone who came up with cryptocurrencies, and put it together as well as Satoshi did, would be rich enough or content enough with themselves that they wouldn't need to sell out.

I guess over time option 1 becomes ever more possible, but I would rather believe my reasoning.

Liverpool vs Man. City (Final Capital One Cup)

Liverpool played very well, but luck sided with Man. City. penalties make its own drama in a football match

I'm really sad Liverpool can't win pinalty vs Manchester City. When Liverpool make a goal i thought Liverpool will win this match. I'm sad because Klopp can't win their 1st throphy.

I also feel sad with this result. when I want to see Klopp in his first season to get the title.
well I hope that next season Klopp can bring Liverpool into the Premier league champions. with a note to buy some good players to meet next season.
yeah for kopites. we must move on for this.
our goal now is. fought as hard as possible to get into the big four in the premiere league. although it was very difficult. liverpool must strive. and i think they need an extra player
Do you mean they need to play 12? That might give them a chance of getting into the top 4! 9 points back at this stage, it is all over for them really.
I think next season could be much better for them though. Klopp is a very good manager, he will get them fighting fit for next season, and bring in some good players in the summer.

I expect they will be a tough proposition next season, I would say probably top4.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget Grexit. BREXIT is the Bigger Threat to Europe. on: February 28, 2016, 01:52:55 PM
Maybe the rest of the EU will breathe a sigh of relief when the UK's gone. By the sounds of it all they do is moan and bitch anyway.

Germany won't be happy if the UK leaves.  The UK wants to reduce it's deficit, wants to be globally competitive and is a big net contributor to the EU.
If they leave, Germany will have to pay more to cover the ever increasing number of poorer countries who are members or will be members.

If the UK leaves, I think other countries will consider doing the same thing. The EU would be better if they hadn't expanded in the last 15 years, it isn't a fair union anymore.

I'll take $446.70 if there are no strings attached to this competition!
