961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 99% of CryptoCurrency Investors fail because they havent understood Crypto on: January 24, 2021, 09:21:10 AM
Yeah it's actually kinda silly when you see people buying when the price is already too high and sell their coin when bearish market comes while cursing that they got lied. So many people keep saying to buy low sell high and yet so many people doubtful and anxious when low and buy when high like WTF?
I wonder what's the reason that could influences people's mind into doing such thing. but one thing for sure, people always got greedy but not at the right time for example, when bullrun happens.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Celebrity Rapper "Soulja Boy" tries to buy XRP on Coinbase, but guess what? on: January 24, 2021, 07:39:08 AM
Is he going to bet this money or what, he's a US citizen and buying XRP can be a big deal. Although XRP could still be traded outside US it's just reckless as a US citizen like him to buy XRP amidst the problems that XRP need to deal.

I mean, even the description in his screenshot pretty much self explanatory I wonder why he didn't have the idea to google for a little bit about XRP  Grin.

Imagine if he is able to buy XRP right now then few months later asking why he can't sell if the US citizens turns out to be limited or suspended from buying XRP  Cheesy Cheesy.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: January 24, 2021, 05:40:17 AM

maybe if we can pick a good altcoins project, investing in altcoins can be a good idea
but if don't have enough knowledge, i think its better to invest in bitcoin my friend
regards

True. altcoin can be a good idea ONLY IF you have the capability of analyzing and predicting whether the alt has future or not and that's the hardest thing because most of people invests to alts out of their guts without reading the projects  whitepaper or even the technical aspect or implementation of problem solving and that's where people gonna lose out money because they just don't know what they're investing into.

I'd say stick with bitcoin if we don't know about the project we gonna invest. It's safer that way.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 23, 2021, 07:06:43 AM
Why follow someone else? Big company that invest in crypto usually put big portion of their allocated money for crypto to bitcoin and the rest to various alts like ETH. That means those big company which usually consist of expert doesn't really trust ETH other than for diversifying their portfolio so that they don't put all money in the same coin.

Honestly sounds kinda reckless to convert it all but it's your money and it's your decision to follow that high net worth individual or safely diversify your portfolio.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: January 23, 2021, 05:32:42 AM
If ethereum could hold its price while having their total supply uncapped I think it's possible considering there's also quite the amount of bitcoin loss overtime due to sending to wrong address though the chance might be slim if BTC also increase on its value caused by scarcity of it.

But, many circulating supply for ETH could also become biggest obstacle that holds the price for growing or the market cap from increasing. It's just everything could happen in crypto market.

But, maybe even if btc market cap got surpassed by ETH bitcoin still the icon of cryptocurrency no matter what.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth able to break its previous ATH within few days? on: January 22, 2021, 09:24:16 AM
I mean, anything could happen in crypto market right?  Grin none of us even predicted that it only takes short time for bitcoin to reach this kind of price height but honestly after the recent dumping which makes ETH go down for about 10% there might be some panic selling or the price might be stuck for few days so reaching previous ATH within few days seemingly hard.
If it's 2-3 months in the future maybe ETH could break past its ATH. Just wait the money flowing from large investment company to the crypto market and we might see ATH and BTC surpass its ATH again.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: January 22, 2021, 04:05:18 AM
Based on the historical data and current market status of btc, I can say that no other coin can overpower btc even ethereum. Btc is continuously dominating the crypto market because of its stability, legitimacy and very wide scope. But like what I said, it is based on the current status of btc, we don't know what will happen for the next few months of years.
It's dominance rise because it's mainly the primary option for those fund management or investment company when it comes to diversifying portfolio. It's also the reason why bitcoin was so hyped lately.

Meanwhile despite getting its share of pump ethereum struggles a lot dealing with its own blockchain traffic due to defi craze and much more they are not really good with scalability. Honestly, it's obvious that eth not gonna overpower btc and to consider that eth doesn't have limit on its total supply.
968  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 100K! OK and then? on: January 21, 2021, 08:34:37 AM
Definitely gonna reach higher ATH after reaching $100K ofcourse. There's actually tons of things we gonna see changing when we reach that milestone and one of them is the market cap big enough for any country to be concern of as taxed object, but that gonna also come with massive adoption aswell and probably normalizing crypto as a way to pay transactions in internet universally.
It's not like after reaching that price all the crypto users gonna vanish out of thin air, they certainly gonna be expecting for an even higher price.
969  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 06:13:57 AM
I mean, at the early stage of bitcoin emergence it helps a lot of people sending money borderless across nations and that certainly helps poor people who do some work from far away but have family that needs the money in some remote area but still have internet access somehow or having family in some smaller cities.

However, The fee right now kinda killing it. I mean, a dollar is really precious for poor people and I don't think poor people using crypto for such thing is viable right now.

They could use alts somehow that has significantly lesser fee but it needs to be exchanged aswell, ERC20 token also out of question because the fee is ridiculous. Earning money from bitcoin also not as easy as most of people imagined, at this point it might help some poor people but definitely small portion of them.
970  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best way to sell in 2021 — to buy more on the bear on: January 21, 2021, 05:26:48 AM
Honestly it's up to you, cashing it out right now is actually fine as long as you made profit out of it. In the future we don't know whether the bullrun gonna continue to break past $50K or just falls down instead but if you think it's gonna go down as part of bitcoin bullrun cycle then you can just follow your opinion.

Whether in the future it's gonna be bearish market or bullish market we don't know that but what's for sure when you're cashing out while still in profit is regardless the market condition you still got profit at the end of the day  Grin.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: January 18, 2021, 06:01:04 AM
The thing that most of us crypto user dreaming about back in the past is about to happen. It's no surprise though considering most of millenials and younger generation prefer to invest in stocks, crypto or the likes and gold is kinda outdated.
digital gold or something similar isn't helping either since I've seen most youngest generation don't even interested to thing like gold but invested more to technology.
Sooner or later crypto market cap including btc will have humongous valuation just almost as much as gold market and it's really gonna happen if the crypto market growth stays this way.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake Telegram groups on: January 18, 2021, 03:32:02 AM
They targetting you mostly when you join many groups, they will try to pm you and impersonate the admin of the group. You should be more becareful of it, always makes sure the person that have contact with you is the real one. Also, dont give any money or key to anyone else, keep it by your self.
Yeah it only takes 1 group where the scammers targeted all the group members and deploying some bots to message them all and try to impersonate them or doing the scam activities manually.
This is also why I for most of the part don't care about the message I received from stranger in telegram even if it's about some deals.
It's really such a PITA when we got bombarded by the messages from these scammers and as a result drowns important message in our app.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange to wallet on: January 18, 2021, 02:17:13 AM
If you're prepared for the identity verification or KYC that the exchange gonna ask you in the future I think saving your cryptos in exchange is fine. But, the exchange sometimes freeze your money out of the blue and asking you to make complicated identity verification by following various steps. If you don't want that you can simply move out your cryptos to wallet.
Exchange like binance not gonna run away with your money but it's the KYC they asking that is very annoying. Sometimes it takes a days to get approved too.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is best? on: January 17, 2021, 09:56:26 AM
Frankly speaking, all popular stablecoins equally good for you if you only use it for transferring money or just to buy some cryptos  but holding it in that form for long might be problematic though there's no history of massive stablecoin scam but you should be aware that stablecoins are not decentralized and owned by someone.

IMO, it's usdc that's reliable because its partner is some big company. USDT asset is not really transparent and that could be worrisome. However, if you just use it for the things I mentioned above, just use the one with biggest market volume and accepted anywhere, that kind of stablecoin is just too big to fail or to make an exit scam otherwise the authority will go after them.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COIN IS THE NEXT ETHEREUM ? on: January 17, 2021, 07:42:19 AM
I'm really bullish on Cardano. I think with everything it brings and with news that they have in plan for this year it has a possibility to come to 3rd place behind BTC and ETH. Surpassing not yet but we will see what future will bring.

i like your words about cardano and this is a reaslistic opinion,
but, i think its hard to find the next ethereum now, because a lot of altcoins claimed as the next ethereum but the fact, there is no altcoins can be the next ethereum
More realistic opinon is Polkadot, the development is going fast, so many people hype it up and the teams are so active. But, if you want a lot more realistic opinion then ETH will always stay as 2nd largest coin and largest altcoin and the 3rd place will be for competition. Speaking truthfully, ETH already far beyond other alts in term of userbase, it was used for various digital transactions. well, before the fee becomes disgusting and many people choose to move over another alt.
976  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 17, 2021, 06:35:49 AM
Again, it's not a matter of right or wrong to buy expensive bitcoins, but about your investment style. if you are a day trader then it is not a problem as long as you can maintain your daily profit, but if you are a long-term holder, then it will be a little less profitable, because the essence of long-term investing is to buy dips and sell at a certain level of profit.
Buying dip is definitely the way to go for long term investment but I don't think buying bitcoin right now can be considered a bad strategy. You can see those investment firm buying bitcoin like buying ice cream and they won't let bitcoin price go down for sure considering how many money invested.
For now, it's hard for bitcoin to go down like it was in 2017 so I could consider there's no best time than the present, though ofcourse if we can find opportunity to buy dips why not?  Grin
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fate of privacy cryptocurrencies on: January 16, 2021, 01:34:46 PM
...What is the fate of privacy coins? I am thinking these type of coins will find it difficult and can later all vanish and exist no more.

The list of exchanges that are delisting anonymous coins will only increase. And this will happen not only at the request of the state, as we have seen earlier in Japan and South Korea, but also by the exchange's own decision, as happened on the Bittrex exchange.

Its gonna make these privacy coin market cap smaller for sure but I dont think its gonna disappear. If coin like monero is used frequently within dark web then its still gonna be used for transaction despite all the bannings.I never went to any of the dark web but people said its land of p2p transaction without middlemen.
japan and south korea delisting is obviously gonna come but once the US could somehow reveal the supposedly untraceable coim becomes traceable that means doom for these privacy coins.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time. on: January 16, 2021, 08:03:45 AM

Bitcoin's volatility has been declining since its “crazy” ups and downs during the 2017-2018 period. Some pundits believe that this is a sign that the digital currency is finally "maturing".

I am sure the price of bitcoin this year will skyrocket
Sometimes I wonder and question it to myself whether the volatility has really decreased because of the market matures or it's just because the value of bitcoin is so high $5K down in matter of day is nothing strange any more.
I mean, if the  $5K correction like a week ago were to happen to bitcoin when the price is around $8K i'm pretty sure everyone gonna go crazy but because of its former price of $40K it just looks like a small correction.
Though I'm very sure that the market cap contributes a lot to the reduction of market volatility
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: January 15, 2021, 08:57:00 AM
currently ICOs have been largely abandoned by project developers, the reason is simple, namely the lack of trust from investors in selling projects that use ICOs and investors now prefer to invest in projects that do indeed do IEO as a means of raising funds, of course this is natural because of the large number of project Ico fraud that has occurred so far that makes investors prefer safe investment alternatives.
Not abandoned but rather very small portion of projects that needs funding goes to ICO because lets be real here, IEO other than giving the privilege to get listed almost instantly after IEO ends they also gives the promotion and marketing, the new projects which usually aren't popular and need to gain exposure need that badly and as a result it's more beneficial for project to join IEO although some portion of funding or tokens might go to the exchange.

ICO in the other hand if the project is really good and already anticipated. They don't need to go such length having negotiaton with exchange and could keep all the coin and funding they deserve to themselves (for developing purpose ofcourse.).
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett & "Rat Poison" on: January 14, 2021, 10:42:04 AM
Isnt there article saying that warren buffet isn't really interested in investing into tech? It's only normal if warren buffet is just analyzing based on whatever theories he has and don't really understand the tech behind bitcoin, heck even some middle aged people couldn't grasp the underlying technology if they aren't tech savvy enough and crypto as a whole is kinda complicated if you try to dive in.

Also, some really old people hardly accept any change and maybe warren buffet is one of them when it comes to digitalization and at this point I'd be more amazed if he changes his mind about cryptocurrency.
