981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Think an $8000 Bitcoin Price Is Cool? Wait Until We Hit $12000 in January on: November 21, 2017, 04:10:58 PM
$12000 in January? It's 50% increasement in 2 months. Without any important event I don't think it's going to happen, seems people are euphoric just because Bitcoin price is increasing too much these days and they think it will continue for the next months. If we are able to reach $9000 by end of December is a big achievement and if we do that, probably the price will have a moment of stabilization or drop.
982  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: OBitman - new BTC faucet on: November 21, 2017, 03:31:05 PM
I got only 8 satoshis, didn't receive extra 8 satoshis.

It will take a long time until reach 1000 satoshis to cashout... Especially claiming 8 satoshis every 15 minutes.
I think if you don't pay directly to FaucetHub.io after each claim it will be harder to get users to your faucet as people are avoiding threshold faucets fearing to be scammed.
983  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the main goal of human is happiness? on: November 21, 2017, 02:38:21 PM
Yes, it's the main goal of everyone, the problem is that some people have strange malefic ways to reach to this goal... What can involve causing pain to other people on any sphere you can imagine (at work, love, familiar...). Hapiness isn't something positive for everyone, unfortunatelly.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you get active gambler referrals in Casino sites through campaigns? on: November 21, 2017, 01:23:43 PM
You just need to refer some rich guys... Poor guys gambling with pennies won't generate any decent comission for you. I don't know a good strategy to refer good gamblers to casino, but it could work if you are able to make fiat gamblers move to Crypto casinos using your referral link.
The question is, how to do this?

These are traditional gamblers, they have money and like to spend it usually, a good combination that can surely generate a lot of comission for you.
As was said, the ratio is worthless here, it's random. 1 good gambler can show more results than 100-200 inactive/poor gamblers (or even more).
985  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin=easy money on: November 21, 2017, 01:16:41 PM
For me you can not get easy money here in bitcoin, but yes advertising some project of crypto currency is much easy way to earn money than working in a regular job and of course you need to put great effort by doing the task of every project or campaign you participated.

Some of the people are treating this as their main source of income they are leaving their regular job and they are now full time as bitcoin earner because they feel that this field giving them much higher income than their regular job and they say that it is much easiest way to earn money.

Depending the job to earn Bitcoins can be easy, but not all. I wouldn't even call them "jobs", but earning methods, as there isn't stability, today you are earning, but no one can guarantee tomorrow you will still have this job... One example is trading, an unstable source of income, some days it can be really easy to make profit, but in other days you can have a hard time trying to make the profit needed for your daily expenses.

But Bitcoin=Easy Money can have another meaning too, not only the one that the money comes easy, but that it's easy to deal with it online, it's an accessible currency and very practical nowadays.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin falls 20% a day on: November 21, 2017, 01:02:23 PM

Most of us here would probably say buy more, while opposite to some. Some also may panic sell when it drops for even 5%, but as for so many experienced traders and in think its quiet right also when you have any amount and the price drops you can buy and hold for it for longer term.

I would surely keep holding the BTCs I already had and would try to buy some more... A hypothetical drop like that wouldn't continue for much time, as people would see the price falling too much and would start buying again, increasing the currency's price and making profit. Somehow like what happened days ago when BTC dropped near $5500-$6000, I don't remember exactly, then right after the price came back to $7000 and now it's above $8000.

To say the truth people wouldn't let even Bitcoin drops 20% a day to start buying again, increasing the demand really fast.  Smiley
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 21, 2017, 12:10:33 AM
I personally only use crypto currency nowadays. I have a bitcoin debit card (bitpay) that I use everyday to make any payments.

It is nice because I can receive money anywhere in the world and have it sent directly to my bitpay account and then spend it in a irl store within minutes.

What about you guys? Do you invest/trade/use crypto currency?

I live in NY btw
I earn whole from cryptocurrency but still live on fiat. I need to make frequent conversions to cash out in Fiat and to reinvest this withdrawn money to crypto is yet another hazzle for me. I am from India and trust me things are not quite fluid here for bitcoins and bitcoinists.

I use Crypto-Currency this way too. Where I live most banks aren't friendly to Bitcoins and it's really hard to finish our deals if you depend this kind of service, luckily, recently new banks have appeared and are conquering the public with their digital design, accessible for everyone with zero costs and friendly to Bitcoin. I hope they introduce some kind of debit Bitcoin card, it's not impossible at all. When this day comes I will be able to use Bitcoin on daily life.

Here, the country doesn't survive without high taxes that people are avoiding via Bitcoin, so that is the reason main banks and governments aren't friendly to it, but in India maybe Bitcoin reputation was ruined because the several Ponzi schemes, no?
988  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are the big advertising networks as coinzilla, mellowads THE big scammers ? on: November 20, 2017, 11:40:28 PM
For these networks what matters is money, the product/service being promoted is just a detail... That is why they accept this kind of deal. Even CoinMarketCap has already promoted scam investments on banners on their site, in a decentralized world there isn't control over it, people need to educate themselves to don't fall on traps like these. There isn't 100% trusted person as there isn't 100% trusted site.

What you can do is to spread the word about this kind of scam investment and advice people to stay away.
989  Economy / Economics / Re: The best investment you ever made? on: November 20, 2017, 05:28:03 PM
The best investment I ever made was to put my time and knowledge into learning about Bitcoin and to actually earn out of it. With this decision, I have made lots of money and I now am planning to create something out of it, say, an offline business. There is so much to learn online, and you will be surprised of how much money you can earn just by sitting pretty in the comfort of your own homes whilst responsibly paying your bills and getting your life fixed all at once.

Offline business is a good investment. I think that is the best investment I have ever made, not from the profit point of view, because Bitcoin is much more profitable, but because it gives me the chance to learn something new that I can work with, I can evolve my skills, gain practical knowledge and not only theorical as schools teach and I can earn some income from it that can always be increased. It's something that occupy the mind positively, what is healthy.

Furthermore, I can use the profit from this business to invest in BTCs.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: November 20, 2017, 04:39:43 PM
You don't have to worry about the Bitcoin as it is strong enough to get up to a high price in the future. Like me i just hold it for further investment.  Kiss I think bitcoin will give me a surprise in the future. Smiley
The worry is definitely there, look at the bitcoin price is now very high, but I agree with you, so we do not have to worry and not too afraid of bitcoin, I think the bitcoin is strong and very good, when seen from its development, bitcoin is very good. , so we think positively, and hope that bitcoin gets better for the future.
Its normal to think off about on the possibilities that might happen which would really cause up worries even myself do really worry on bitcoins future and possibility of price crash on worst cases because we wont actually know on what would happen ahead this is why we should only spend or invest on the amounts that we can afford to lose up and don't tend to go all in on bitcoin investment.Just always remember that theres always a certain risk on any investment on the world.

Yes, we can't neglect the risk. Bitcoin is a very good investment, I would say it's the best accessible investment for all at this moment, but it's not 100% safe and we can see many different scenarios in the future, making the investment very unstable. I'm optmistic about it and I know many people are too, but we need to stay alert all the time, as you said, invest only what you can afford to lose and always have a strategy for your money, make gradual profit from BTC to fiat (trading).

However I don't think it's a good idea to move to another currency as OP says. It would be a waste to move funds from BTC to ETH investment, Bitcoin is the strongest currency among all the Crypto-Currency world and it proved to be strong by defeating all the concurrency attacks against itself until now. A good sign Bitcoin has too much power and support.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: November 20, 2017, 03:04:00 PM
My bitcoin gambling experience started when I was just a noob on bitcoins that days, I was so eager to earn more satoshis and I see on facebook that they earn double from a gambling site and then I tried it. The first game that I played is dice game when I got my first win I was so happy then suddenly with just a few clicks I lost everything.
When it comes to gambling in real life I started I think when I was 10 years old, I played kara y krus with some friends on the street.

My experience was similar to yours. I was new on Crypto-Currency world, I have seen the Dice tab on FreeBitco.in site, but I didn't know very well how that worked and seemed dangerous for me at first impression, so I used only the faucet and accumulated a nice balance on the site. Then one day a friend told me on Facebook about a "safe earning method", Martingale at FreeBitco.in Dice with script.

So I gave it a try and started from 1 satoshi bet applying Martingale, that worked perfectly, I was excited, started dreaming about the progress I could make with that by letting the game run 24/7, with bigger and bigger balance even more. But then from nothing a long loss streak came and I didn't understand that! How could that be possible? So many losses in sequence!

Then I realized we can't defeat the house, understood the House Edge factor and everything else...  Cheesy
992  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Bitcoin journey on: November 20, 2017, 02:43:16 PM
I use BlockChain.info wallet since end of 2015 and never had any issues. Now I'm not very active there as I changed my strategy, but the wallet is still there and safe. There are several security mechanisms you can set to make it stronger, but as we are talking about an online wallet the risk always exist and people always fear trusting their money to others.

If you don't have much money I think there isn't problem to use that wallet (or Coinbase if you prefer), but once you start having more Bitcoins you will need to split this amount among several sites or you will need to put the BTCs on a safe desktop wallet. But between the two online wallets I prefer BlockChain.info (more decentralized service).

Is there a limit to the number of properties you can own?  I am up to 7, and probably could get my 8th today.

Yes, the limit is 10.
994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 20, 2017, 02:22:36 AM

Slowly recovering... I believe the traditional casinos will lead you to profit very soon...
About the other two casinos I'm not sure, I expected more about their ICO's results when I firstly heared about that.

Anyway, the experience is very valid and at some point you will make your profit!  Smiley

995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can't decide where to play... on: November 20, 2017, 02:04:26 AM
Truly, casino promotions aren't so good as they look at first impression... So I wouldn't expect much about this. Giveaways are more interesting when we talk about promotions and it's not your case as you already have money and want to play.

I would choose Crypto-Games.net. They have many different games and currencies being accepted. Or YoloDice, I see they have an active promotion now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2413677.0 Just don't expect it will be so easy to achieve.  Cheesy
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: November 20, 2017, 12:59:16 AM
Sound advice, thanks. It helps to not check it's every little change in value.

Yes, compulsive price checking is another bad habit that is popular among newbies, but also season Bitcoin users. It's much better to create a strategy for yourself like "I'll sell Bitcoin when it will reach X or drop to Y" and then just check the price no more than 1-2 times per day. Checking price too much leads to additional stress and sometimes people might make rushed to decisions known as "panic sell" or "panic buy" - and in many cases panic-induced prices are very short-lived, so people who panicked find themselves in a loss, especially if they have sold (with buying it's a bit different because if you are hodling for a really long time it doesn't matter much what was the price at the moment of your buy).

That sounds true. Unfortunatelly I become compulsive when I start thinking about selling BTCs... I think I'm not following the right strategy, when I see BTC price increasing a bit compared to the price I bought I immediately sell it, fearing to see the price dropping right after. But what usually happens is that the price continue increasing and then I lose a good profit opportunity. I think you are right, better to set a goal in price even if it takes more time to happen. I will do this next time...
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: November 19, 2017, 11:22:51 PM
In my opinion quitting in gambling is so hard to do, because at the you experience to win or to lose you can’t avoid yourself to bet and bet again. Also gambling is part of our life, even we like it or not. Only we need to do is to limit our self in betting and create a decision base on our hunch. Sometimes our hunch are correct so just trust it and think before make a decision.

Quitting is also a struggle for most of us. What we have to do is just limit for a while so we can quit gradually. There's no instant quit in my opinion but there is a way for every problem just to solve it and if you are carefully following your own gameplan of quitting, you can do it.

If the person reaches to the conclusion gambling is really bad for his life, he can left gambling gradually as you said, but only this isn't enough, the person should left gradually, but at same time replacing his free hours that were used for gambling before with a new interesting activity. So step by step the person will forget gambling and won't feel very much the impact of lefting it.

Too many gamblers that realized and has the conclusion that gambling will bring bad life to them but do you know on where they are? They/we keep on gambling even we are aware about that, there is something that really is pulling us to keep on gambling and even with realization about gambling still we gamble even we lose.

It's really hard, I understand, but I'm sure many people were able to find harmless activities to spend their time and left gambling. It's like a medical treatment, the person can be really bad, however after some time of serious treatment with cooperation of the patient the disease will disappear (in some cases not totally, but it can become better). The same with gambling, it's very possible, but the gambler needs to be strong and open minded about changing his habits. The "treatment" can involves psychologists, relatives or even only the gambler himself.
998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase to $100,000 says expert on: November 18, 2017, 02:26:01 PM
No doubts Bitcoin will hit $100.000, but when? I think it will still take much time to happen, at least if we want a solid increasement on Bitcoin's price that will last for a good time and will make possible more people invest on it without fear of high volatility. About AltCoin I agree that 20 of them or so will stay stable and useful, while probably all the rest won't be very effective or worthful for all.
999  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining does not make any financial sense? on: November 18, 2017, 02:04:57 PM
I don't understand, why would someone cloudmine. I looked at nicehash prices

https://www.nicehash.com/buy

with 77 usd you can buy 0.05 PH for 24hrs.

According to profitability calculator, with that power you would get 60 dollars in 24 hrs. So you would pay 77 dollars to get 60 dollars. What am I missing?

There are some cases in which you'd be able to mine more than what you paid for, you just have to have keen eyes for this to be achieved. Also, there are a wide range of algorithms that you can use for mining coins for a bit, just need to select the right one at the right moment and you're in profit.

How does it work? More miners = less profit and less miners = more profit on the day? How to know when it's the right time?

I have seen this kind of offer on Cloud mining sites like Eobot and never understood too...
