There is nothing to answer here.  All agree GLD was mined in the indicated quantities (premined if you like to use that word)

I ,for one, think it is a good thing that so many coins are in strong hands.
I mean I posted my wallet transactions... LOL I never had 7 million coins (thats crazy).

I don't think any dev has been more transparent than that!

I gave a lot away, I don't have many left.

Good things coming.  Sorry for calling the one guy a jackass, but I mean come on...  Bragging over something thats non-braggable LOL.

Yes, quite correct of you.

I mean the challengers have nothing to ask (they don't seem to read replies properly, their comments are just noise). It has all been answered with transparency.

Even if coins are in the hands of some big holders, that is also fine.

Not at all, he is selling his goldcoin forum. He shat himself, he probably expected it's all gonna be "American dream" in a week.

No problems really, guys. You don't need to respond to awkard comments .

I'm not naive, I'm just cool with that. Just as I'm cool knowing there are people with dozens or hundreds of thousands bitcoins out there.

I have couple of hundreds thousands of golds now for example, nothing mined, all bought. People can be some 25% feared by my dump as by his. Hope you are seeing a point, but just hope, you should be able to see it after my first post.

So why the heck I would be nervous about it? Someone will dump his coins? Cool, that's what exchanges are for. To buy or sell.

Let the devs./early miners dump coins if they want: spreads them around, gives a big buyer a chance : someone who might value them more because they paid for them.
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HOW TO] Read a Block Explorer - GLDCoin Pre-mine Volume I on: June 02, 2013, 12:22:47 AM
You supporters of gold are without a doubt the most naive people on the face of the earth.  I provide actual proof in the block explorer of the Dev's addresses showing he had pre-mined most of the 10K blocks, and amassed around 1.6 million in coins before sending them off to?? where??

Indeed, we had to start somewhere in mining.  People such as myself learned much about hash rates, difficulty, block chains, exchanges, markets and other problems through gldcoin.  All of which was very valuable to me.

Thank you to all who have helped me along my journey from being green to now.

Yep, I agree, great learning curve !
2426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HOW TO] Read a Block Explorer - GLDCoin Pre-mine Volume I on: June 01, 2013, 11:13:28 PM
As far as I'm concerned Bitcoin is premined too. There were zillion blocks before I bought my first BTC  Grin

In other words, I couldn't give a shit what coin is premined or not as long as I can make some money out of it. The fact that someone else will make more is something I won't lose a second of my sleep.

I find it fascinating that people expect that someone is creating coins without expecting to bank from it. Lol. Each coin that hits exchanges and is traded should make his creator loaded, be it through his extensive mining, be it through transaction few or whatever, he should have a nice financial gain from coin he created. It's not fucking communism, those with GPU farms don't complain about their advantage over small guys but scream because creator mined "few" coins. .Bullshit.

we all want to make money, but if say that person dumped 300k , it would wipe out all the buy orders and render the coin useless

Well, we don't do it then or make our own. I don't care who will dump 300k - creator or someone with 30-40 MH GPU farm. Someone most probably will. So what makes a difference between two of them? I'd say nothing, it's absolutely same for me. But I often see those with small or big farms screaming about premine - though only when they don't get enough of the pie.

Agree of course ...

I fact I would say I do NOT want a coin that did not heavily reward the devs. and early miners. Need to have some large concentrations in committed hands, then they will have an incentive to improve my investment. If some large holders sell, someone will end up with the coins.. eventually strong hands.
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency **UPDATE BINARIES** on: May 31, 2013, 01:03:21 PM
GLD should be delisted whilst changes are in progress... but LTC exchange rate is a good change.

2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency **UPDATE BINARIES** on: May 29, 2013, 02:41:45 PM
BTW folks make sure to update your binaries!

Yes.. I will remind people now and then.
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Free GLDCoins. Register at the official forum! on: May 27, 2013, 11:54:44 PM

Are you interested in getting 10 GLDCoins for doing only a few minutes of work?

Nah thanks, you can keep your $0.12 USD

Lol. Stop posting in GLDCoin threads if you don't have anything useful to say.

No, seriously, I did the math, it's around $0.12 USD

I think you will find it is less than that
2430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin Gold (GLD) - Traded On Cryptsy! More Profitable Than LTC on: May 27, 2013, 10:19:54 AM
Crying about retarget times and trying to fork the chain when you have a difficulty of SEVEN??  And block reward of FIVE HUNDRED??  Pathetic.  Is this the first coin most of you have ever tried to mine?  If you are crying about a single digit difficulty on a coin that has a three digit block reward, you need a new hobby.

I'm no expert at mining but gotta say I agree with this.

Agree as well.
You know where to find my other comments ?
2431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin Gold (GLD) - NOT Pre-mined - Password Comprimised - I Am Now in Control on: May 27, 2013, 10:08:47 AM

I dont care about the mining and all because I am not mining.

What I care is the ones that are dumping coins , this is gonna hurt us all . I mean it is a steep fall from 18's to 11's which is a BIG fall when we are talking about 100k+ volume let alone millions changed everyday.

You should be mining.. maintains the network. Dumping of coins is temporary.
2432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin Gold (GLD) - NOT Pre-mined - Password Comprimised - I Am Now in Control on: May 27, 2013, 01:57:43 AM
Well, I didn't fucking know that. I'm just a miner, and an electronics tech by trade, I'm not a goddamn computer programer. It would have been much more constructive, to post a link, to a working blockchain explorer.

I do know, that someone posted that 7 million coins were premined. How about we stop arguing about it, and one of you goddamn reputable members, who knows what the fuck they are doing, and verify if he pre mined or not, ffs.

Holy fuck, so you actually talk shit about every damn coin you happen to dislike for whoever-knows-what-reason, while you actually don't know what the flying frak you're talking about. If you're a miner and don't know shit about crypto other than that, well fuck me, keep mining peacefully and keep your mouth shut on matters you know nothing of.

I have no reason to setup a block explorer free of charge for someone who's constantly obnoxious in the forums, and not being constructive to the community himself (yes I mean you). Give me 20 LTC and I'll set it up and post proof of whether or not it was premined in the same way I did with Powercoin.

Either that, or you do it yourself. In any case keep your mouth shut about matters you don't understand. You'll be doing this forum a great service.

Do yourself a favour and cut out some of the bad language. You might have some fair points, but nobody is going to take you seriously.

Why so angry ?

Maniac certainly lives up to his name. I checked all this and it makes no sense at all.

2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCOIN @ Cryptsy! YAY on: May 26, 2013, 05:56:43 PM
Look at the blockchain, see where all the first coins went, and where they ended up.  Someone got a massive amount of coins. Millions.  And they sent them all somewhere Friday morning.  My guess, cryptsy...

I actually believed in Gold Coin and had near 200k.  Not anymore after seeing that.

The Dev mined 2 million plus, gave some away to look like a hero, then dumped them all.  I investigated on my own its easy to do.

Dump your GLD and buy Nibbles (no exchange for us yet).  Our coin has no pre-mining, insta-mining, and our release was fair.  The fairest of any.

I'm not trolling, I'm trying to help you guys out.  We'd love to have your enthusiasm on our team...

Cult members, don't understand logic. All they hear is derpderp herpa derp GLD derpderp

Thanks for your concern about our welfare, and for taking the time to post.
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCOIN @ Cryptsy! YAY on: May 26, 2013, 05:17:27 PM
GLD progressing well. The difficulty has advanced, and the price is looking attractive for buyers.
2438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin Gold (GLD) - Traded On Cryptsy! More Profitable Than LTC on: May 26, 2013, 02:39:44 PM
FYI GLD was hit with a difficulty attack.  mining swelled to 2gh/s long enough to push up the difficulty, and then they pulled out.  They did this to ruin GLD.  Hash rate is down to 200mh/s and dropping.

Also, it is being artificially pumped on Cryptsy, in order to drive up interest so it can be dumped.  These are big players doing this, and they will dump soon because they doubled their investment.

We've seen this all before.  They are ruthless.

Yes, this is just the next battle in the war. It shows that bigger players now see GLD as a threat, instead of just the rude small-time trolls from btctalk.
2439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLDCoin Gold (GLD) - Traded On Cryptsy! More Profitable Than LTC on: May 26, 2013, 02:37:43 PM

We win with this poll, no matter what the results.

New people are coming to GLD as a result of my efforts to get people to vote GLD

I thank everyone for voting GLD

Cheers Grin

Most publicity is good, I guess.  Thanks for your work !

nibble is a failure, leave us alone we love our gold
Nibbles are worth 40x GLD.  Nibble had more miners, is worth more than GLD, and we don't want to be on an exchange (yet).  We are keeping it low profile to mine and build something first.

The dev mined 2 million coins. (He got the first 150 or so 10k blocks).  Look at the blocks, and look at the addresses, and then look at the balances.

why do you think he posted in the noob section?

I'll trade you 100 nibbles for 5k gold.

We wish the Nibble community a lot of succes with their Nibble coin.

Well said !   The market will decide which coin is better, and they can coexist without a problem. Competition is healthy.
