I don't usually talk much about price, because honestly I don't really care. I'm mostly concerned with functionality and building something with real utility.
However, that's what the forums have been consumed with so here's my take on this. Darkcoin is six months old, last month we went from $0.77 to $15.00. It was literally four weeks long, and what goes up must come down. Crypto currencies grow in this way, it's actually normal. Next we'll form a base somewhere about here and things will get quiet before we make our next move to the upside.
I don't post all of the time because, I work insane amounts of time on Darkcoin. This is my job and when I'm posting I'm not coding. Plus, I'm an introvert and I really like putting on headphones and cranking out some code. It's what I do.
What's next?
Things will relax and I'll start perfecting the hard fork for the masternode payments, then RC3. When we're happy with that, I have contacts now all over the media that would love to do another article and update our progress.
Speaking of things coming down, that goes for X11Coin too. From the looks of it, you trust your money to the decentralized mixer by the way. They're pretty secretive about how it works, but that's what I gather from it. I'd love to get a response. DarkSend is trustless for a reason, you don't want the "XNodes" running off with the money.
Busy getting the project doing what is says on the tin, and more functionality yet to be announced. Functionality, projects, real value and operational maintenance. That is what matters. Darkcoin will continue to have those. The market price can be $15 or $1.5 (better actually to be nearer $1.5 for a few months to shake out the weak hands and disruptive trolls). |

Yes, of course. Many bagholders are desperate to get out at a higher price. This is a common situation, and they usually end up dumping at lower prices. I am a buyer at around 2000 sat. In the long term, the current price is irrelevant. It is the real projects and worth of the community + dev team that will determine the value. |

Eventhough Animecoin is in a bad state right now, it is one of the rare coins I personally believe in. I will hold mine indefinitely if not for anything else to remind me of the sparks at the beginning of ANI. It's like when Goku was gathering a genki-dama for Boo and no one on Earth believed Vegeta to give him their energy...We need Mr. Satan.  Animecoin is still functioning. It can remain semi dormant indefinitely if necessary, but it is still growing and transacting. |

How the fuck do you use the coin control feature in v1.5 
Also, I have had ecc for 6 months and have never minted one single coin. Don't even ask if I have the wallet open..  All my other POS coins mint daily. uggh You have your facts wrong ! When did your wallet first receive coins ? Have you sent any out ? Chunks of less than 100k coins will be very slow to mint. Even 1m will probably take a day. |

Hello again hostmaster. Done as you instructed to however still no stake provided on wallet so I have no idea what is going on with stake as its always left on closed down for updates of wallet and left on and never turned off. Yet still no stake so I dont get what is going on.
It looks your pc unlucky to mint it happens sometimes, all you need to 1) open & close it one more time 2) keep it open on maybe 2 different pc instead of 1. No worry you will see big chunk of stake, nothing will be lost. Did you use "coin control" to check how old your coins? Have done all the following and even removed everything in it apart from wallet re installed still no stake n coin for me. Worked out most of my coins are over 60 days old now for the really old ones and some 50 days and 42 days and counting. It looks you can't mint, you need to keep wallet online 2-3 days. And use at different powerful PC/Mac the wallets where possible. The more you online better chance to mint, and when the first mint occurs all will be paid. Can you list confirmations numbers of coins at coin control menu. Look this is real numbers.  if you have less than this you may be need more confirmations. Coin weight is the important factor (chunk size x confirmations- age). Is it possible to add that column in a future wallet update ? |

The longer it takes, the sell walls stuck up more volume at lower prices, keeping the coin from growing. Think of it as a very young plant, with someone stepping on top of it. The 16BTC sell wall at 4sat will most probably go down at 3 sat, when people notice the maximum buy orders are at 2 sat.
I have my doubts with these sell walls...I can't see why people keep 16BTC in coins on an exchange, just to keep the price down, while they can get 25% stake a year in their wallet....doesn't make sense to me. If they want to make money, keep your coins in your wallet, let the value of the coin increase and then sell in bits. Why these BIG sell walls, what's behind this game? The only conclusion is that they actually do want to sell the coins asap, and must be expecting price to fall significantly fairly quickly. Either that or trying to make money trading (flipping). The best way to dispose of them is for the price to fall by 90%, and strong hands buy the coin up. They are simply moving from one coin to the next. No measures can support the price in this situation: only real world projects can give long term value. In the short term, the price can go anywhere, and should be ignored (unless you are a quick dumper). |

I don't agree. Dev can dump if he wants to. Either there is support for Sharecoin or there is not. This is a distribution phase, and there is going to be a lot of coin on the market for some time. The price is determined by the buyers more than by the sellers. Anyone who believes in the model of Share should be buying over the next few months. A range of 50 sat to 400 sat would be expected, but is not indicative of the long term. |

Does it mean the current price is to high and should be lower or the opposite that the current price is low and should be higher? When is right time to buy? Buy orders and sell orders do not indicate price potential. Ignore them if you want to make profit, they are just traps for the naive and unwary. |
