More junk, same name as failed coin, better coins already out there... Self moderated post, tells all. Pass
Normally, I'm against self moderated forums threads, but with fanatic lunatics like Just_Me and MicroGuy, supporting the original (stolen) GoldCoin, I can't say I blame the guy Yes, well, I guess it just got too complicated ! Maybe you were right Hydro (just not polite enough for my taste) I really don't want to be involved in this psyco game any more !

Yep.. those are sell orders... The BUY orders total 600 LTC (over 1 million GLD)
It's called price manipulation. Rather stupid attempt I might add, but someone is trying to create the illusion of a rise in gldcoin price. This is pretty much frowned upon, but hey, keep right on buying into that false uptick if you wish. (if it happens) And yes, you are correct, if the BUY orders for gld do indeed = 600 LTC that is almost 1.million.gld.coin or... 12.5 BTC / $1350 USD Sorry if I missed your point. I'm a bit tired this evening. Most people ignore the small orders, if they read a book at all. There are also much larger sell orders close to and above those little ones... Just felt your snapshot was very selective..and I didn't get your point either really ! ... Anyway, its a tiny market, and as you say, there will always be manipulators.

I've finally figured out how to have a flowing intelligent conversation on Bitcointalk. It's via a feature called "Ignore".
Yes . There are plenty of posters whose sole aim is to be disruptive. Just get your head down and do what you feel is needed.

Good day for Goldcoin today The more active the trolls, the higher the price of GLD goes. Up and up.

Do you guys honestly believe that the posters in this thread are alts of MicroGuy?
GLD has a solid community. 38 members have joined the new forum in one week. It seems to be the trolls in this tread that are all the same person !

GLD fork has been completed successfully. Difficulty adjusted gently, and will now be more responsive in future.

Hahaha, the main forum noob has mils of GLD and trying to pump the pice with bumping this thread. Funny
Maybe I'm a bit slow, but I can't work out who that is !!

Just curious if there was some kind of personal thing going on that the rest of us didn't know about.
Nah. Well, Just_Me, is a friggin lunatic, but other than that, I just really hate GLD, and the niativity of its supporters. I also really hate to see MicroGuy, throwing away so much money at it. I think he's probably a really nice guy, in real life, and these guys, are totally taking advantage of him, which I'm also willing to bet, happens to him a lot in real life list the alt coin you don't hate? DGC the only one? you go around these threads trashing everything except this one right? retard, lol Seems strange: but they are particularly afraid of GLD for some reason : check out the avatar ! Makes me really interested to find out.

Glad you noticed !...I find it curious as well. After watching it for several weeks I cant get to the bottom of it, really. GLD supporters actually seem to be nicer people that the average: perhaps a psychopathic element cannot live with that ? (otherwise I'm mystified)

GLD price on Cryptsy seems to be holding at higher level, surprising.
I suppose it's the million coin buy orders that nobody dumped on.

Think for a second... The problem with locking the orig. thread is that the out of date info. remains permanently on page one ! What out of date info? those are the latest binaries. I don't have time to sit here 24/7 and monitor who has this, who's doing that. If there is something that needs to be updated on page 1 - then tell me and i will update it. Do you want me to lock this thread??? Just the forum link on page 1..please change to http://www.gldtalk.org/Then the thread can be locked. The information is not out of date now, but may become so if there are frequent changes. Locked thread will be fine. ..trying to save your time and pick up some workload !

Cryptsy today... over 1 million GLD traded.

62 blocks to go The last 50 blocks were really quick.

I am a bit surprised that people are making money from GLD so soon.
Well I guess all the alts are a gamble, and its best to buy the cheapest per coin (which is what GLD appears to be amongst)

GLD is top performer on price today...Surprising ?
Miners can choose to be paid in $$$ or GLD

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have just paid up all rigging operations through June 17, 2013. Depending on need, I will make adjustments next week to amount of hashrate leased. My budget has recently been increased, so if we need to double this rate it will be done. The current guaranteed paid level is around 6,500 KH/s. http://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=8.0OK, thanks. Paid miners can look in here for current details as well.

With regards to GLDcoin network sync. issues please read my post here: http://www.gldcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131.msg777#msg777Suggesting 'strict' .conf additions to help re-establish GLDcoin network connectivity and client stability: gen=0 dns=1 checkpoints=1 listen=1 dnsseed=1 banscore=10 bantime=604800 rescan=1 checkblocks=0 checklevel=6 txindex=1 reindex=1 Please also make sure that you have updated to the latest binary found in the devs. first thread post on this forum. Thanks Useful thank you, You're welcome. Trying to help, but there are some issues that are beyond anyone's control once set in stone... I saw in this forum post : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=224026.0 - [ANN] Gold Coin Hard Fork - Update your Binaries Immediately advice to use: rpcuser=1 rpcpassword=1 in the goldcoin.conf You must use a Random (and long) password for these settings and a different user name or you can have your .wallet 'hacked'...Following the related thread post I saw numerous network access attempts, from known 'bad' IP ranges, scanning rpcport 8122 probably for this very purpose. I'm investigating the block chain and the full source code for each release. I probably should of done that before. Anyway, the ongoing calamities vs the potential of GLDcoin is whats keeping me interested at this time. Agree with that, thanks. +pm
