Hi guys, I've just arrived and I'm seeing this panic sell. I continue to don't understand where is the problem. Someone sells cheap and someone else buys cheap. Here I've seen a lot of persons to get the stake, to dump it immediately and after to attak the dev... Just to say what kind of shit persons exist in the world So, I'm still holding. And we have still a lot of work to do
Not all of them are all attacked the dev, because the comm distribution will affect the development of comm in the distribution, and have a lot of questions (DEV did not directly answer), I think that the development of comm community is good. Don't care about comm has sold its own comm, and would not discuss with you here. What's going on? It's so cold here. Looks really HOT to me ! COMM thread is red hot. 420 pages and counting !

|
I'm guessing distribution phase is over?
Yes it's over. We get on with real work.
|
|
|
The trolls and stuff are a good sign? I just see tons of newfish Maybe the trolls are good. Publicity and controversy is great.. better than a dead thread !

With the "everyone has lives" thing, if you want to dabble in crypto stuff then you need to dedicate a lot of time if you want to do well in it...
Yep, correct. The distribution will either be audited and clear at some later date, or it won't. The long term viability of COMM does not hinge on that. I run other businesses apart from Cryptos, employ staff. If I costed my time spent on the COMM distribution argument alone, it would be $000's. I have enjoyed promoting many coins, but I have to get on with useful issues. The COMM website is nearly ready, and I will concentrate on that, plus writing and presenting other useful content.

In short, these distribution things must be discussed in some limited to access place, not publicly. This place is the only one so far, where people come for news. If here folks talks only about problems with dev, then guess what an image they get? Of course, they start to dump coins. But meanwhile there are many good things regarding COMM, which pale behind your and other rebelling posts. If you love COMM, as you stated, then you are like mama, who heals child with every medicine in a house, but don't let it heal by himself. Actually you are poisoning everything has been done by community!
Completely disagree, in an opensource, decentralised crypto community its healthier to have everything, positive, negative or neutral completely out in the open. I received both distributions but I feel for those who didn't, seems to me the dev changed the goal post while it was happening; blacklisted if you send some stake to an exchange like wtf market needs liquidity and why even try and get everyone to vote on the exchanges if they are then blacklisted for using them? blacklisted for not logging in for a week, people have lives, and many working behind the scene in crypto rarely log in here, btt is not the center of the crypto universe. Blacklisted for doing dumb stuff like not following instructions properly, ok understandable but this is coming from someone who lost near 200 mil coins and had no backup wallet... ...now thats dumb. Well, all probably true. .. there were several devs... we know errors were made. Probably distribution was broadly OK. If say, the wallet addresses and other records were available, would a trusted community member devote the time to auditing them ? I am wasting a lot of time on this issue, and my other businesses are suffering. Soon I will have to drop it. Remember GLD in the early days ?

Everyone knows, what you are saying! What do you want from us?
Can you tell us what I am saying? And what I want from you? I got two stakes and didn't expect I can't get more from the dev. My hope is the community will grow heathy. We can't give you answers!
Why? If the dev is clean, the answers can be write within one minute. Dude, don't be hysteria. My love on COMM is more than you have, I can promise. We are not dev, don't attack us at last! If you'd love COMM you wouldn't attract so much FUD. You was a trigger to latest thread attack. Community have to care for healthy social environment and diplomacy. Can you show me the part where I attack the community? I will delete them. I can't understand why you are so afraid of the doubt. If we are strong enough, if we are clean enough, we won't be afraid of any FUDs! A lot of coins went through these FUD arguments about early holders and distribution. It did not affect their long term viability (that was down to other factors).

After dump, redistribution will be achieved. That will be rebirth of COMM.
Thats right. The best thing is for the dev not to answer any more questions about distribution. As far as I can see it was reasonably fair, but there inevitably will have been some errors. Apart from the locked 196m any uneven distributions don't matter. COMM will go forward with its own merits and the majority understand that. So, bring on the dump phase, and lets have a really good 2nd distribution. If a dev dumps a load more later, that's an even better distribution.

Hi bluewhackadoo, sorry it's still not very clear to me. If I transfer the 200000 coins to my wallet and keep it open for 1 hour for the initial synchronization. Can I them close my wallet and check in 2 months time to see some interest?
I want to encrypt my wallet, but will keep it unlocked when I launch it.
The wallet will only mint stake when it is open. The coins will 'age' in a closed wallet, but it would need to be open for a while to stake, because it is like mining, probability. You should ideally open every week or so for at least a few hours continually.

Any community members have the knowledge to set up a 100 richest wallets listing? virtualdn?
That would be a very helpful statistic to get a rough idea of distribution.
|
|
|
samysamy1 or Majormax do you know if the final members receiving stakes will be listed here and who will post the announcement when distribution is over?
Thanks,
-blue
The answer is, probably, and one of us. I am not going to make any statements until I know the correct details. I don't have the whole picture, and it will be a while before it is clear. Until then, believers will keep working and achieving, and doubters will ask questions using-up workers time. I am not saying that questions are not valid, just give it time.

isn't this like dumping your shit again?
Well, yes, in one way. However there is a much more worthy function. It might sort out the worthwhile coins from the ones that cannot be saved. I believe this process is important now, so that the CryptoCommunities can be less fragmented, and can come together on the better coins. This won't happen overnight, but this thread is a useful step.

Wow. Im back and we made it to Mintpal! Congrats!
Nobody ever answered me when I asked what the vision for COMM is. I would really like to contact news sites, but I do not know what the key points to focus on are. I need ideas. Thanks!
send samysamy1 a message... he/she? will be able to help. Okay thanks. Please PM me if you want further copy writing or information. See my post above as well.

Nobody ever answered me when I asked what the vision for COMM is. I would really like to contact news sites, but I do not know what the key points to focus on are. I need ideas. Thanks!
The key points are: 1. The Coin is Democratic run by the COMMunity. 2. The initial distribution was as fair as possible, without the developers getting the lion's share. 3. The initial distribution was to selected active members of the CryptoCurrency community, because they are the ones who will understand how to best approach the development and growth, and how it works. 4. COMM is a pure Proof of Stake currency, to reward holders with minted interest, to save energy , and to secure the network better in the long term. This is my view. My words are carefully chosen and fairly consice.

My account has been hacked. I'm not on this project. Anything as been posted after 15 April is not me.
I never received any coin. And i don't know who stoled my account.
Just changed my password and rescued my account. Best regards AndreaBest
Thanks for the note. This again shows how difficult it is to distribute fairly. Bitcointalk members please note: It is wise to change your password after Heartbleed (I made mine longer and more difficult as well)

1 have to fix code and test it again (when tried test so many people forced the system to make me unable to deliver) made me spend lots of time and understood also this will create too much demand (maybe several hundreds because of current market prices) which we cant really satisfy and broken hearts which is no use of rest of community. and form is still does not that good for a professional cheater who pretends he is a else-one. 2 you do not pm me but pm to sammy who was here in the beginning of the thread he will elect prepare me good list and i don't get overwhelm. Elector could be someone else but he was there and willing when i put in OP i need supporter he came to support. I hope this way we have natural election, and community deciding its future rewards. there is nothing bad with this delivery but good for community some extra energy and brings even more activity. it's good for early 2m stake holders because they have motivated team friends elected carefully. And they are now happy to support. and those does not really believe in comm so they have reason to quit. But actually i think most of them are not here (dumped & go) because they think they did bad things against the community group. The coins we give them is too much value for them to hold. So they could not carry on OK.. here is the dev. communicating, and being fair.

As a Community member, I'm not intending to troll, but afraid of the possibility that COMM will be killed by someone's greed.
That or envy, which a wise member of another forum called "passive, lazy greed." Or, just plain rancour. I think this whole slew of "free and fair" experiments shows that "fair" is a goal that's impossible to fully reach, actually. The dev came up with the application plan because the original automated one-to-an-applicant model for some other coin was gamed by sockpuppetry. Any automatic method can be gamed; we BTTers found that out too. And so, human judgment had to enter the picture. And now, the rancorous have something to sink their teeth into. Human judgment means there's a human to criticize. Myself, I think the dev did the best he could and the lack of organized records are just part and parcel of any chaotic launch. The Community support shows that I'm not alone with this one. +1. I think you nailed that. The dev probably did the best possible, according to the rules set. Most people understand that, there are always envious greedy and deranged individuals, and they make the most noise. The vast majority of the COMMunity is solid and will tell in time.

Is this coin still accepting new investors?
What's all these posts about the devs putting fake accounts himself?
New investors ? Yes. Tell us how much you have to invest
