Today i had an interesting thing to happen.
Had a position to sell at 545€ XBTEUR done at 9:xx AM
At 15PM a huge spike up to 590€ appears and my trade doesn't execute....really awesome...not.
Care to explain why anyone?
this is a known bug, it happend 3 times within the past 3 days. It is just a bug that shows an order for ~590€, but this trade did not happen, so nothing else is executed. You can also see the 3 spikes at bitcoinity |

thanks for the update. Please post again as soon as the trading API is working again  At the moment I just get timeout errors (but no "maintenance" error message, that's why I'm reporting this) |

für sowas darfste keine Börsen, sondern musst wechselstuben nehmen. Diese sind in der Regel deutlich teurer, aber halt dafür weniger aufwending (zurzeit ~15€ = 0.25% teurer) Ich denke coinimal/bitpanda ist ganz gut: https://www.bitpanda.com/faqDort brauchst du für deine Btc menge lediglich Email und eine Handynummer angeben. |

Ich finde die Information sehr nützlich und zwar für Neukunden von Mr.Lehmann
Die sehen dann auch das es reibungslos läuft wenn ich dann wieder schreibe wie schnell es abgewickelt wurde.
Also von daher verstehe ich dein Kommentar nicht so recht...

Since more than 3 hours, the API is not reachable at all. Trading via API is not possible... Is there anything at your exchange that does work like intended? (pricing issue, withdrawals taking weeks)

So I can start trading at quoine now, without the fear that this also happens to me, because you fixed the pricing issue, right?
I already implemented quoine into my bot and did some trades via API. I noticed I get quite often timeout errors scattered over the day (more than 10 seconds without an answer, often 3 times in a row when I repeat the request). Is this normal? Maybe you could try to improve this.

Ich empfinde es ja auch als unseriös, vllt. bin ich aauch auf eine falsche Seite gelangt... kA
Aber um mein Konto bei bitcoin.de zu verifizieren wurde ich, wie oben beschrieben auf bitpayment.de weitergeleitet.
Paralell habe ich es erneut versucht, ganz genau das gleiche. Scheint als ist es eine neue Anmelde-/Verifizierungsprozedur.
Ich bin nicht bei der Fidor Bank aber das sollte ja wohl nicht der Grund für die Geschichte sein.
PS: dieses mal 23Cent.
wie bereits im Link steht, einfach den Support anschreiben und um Alternative bitten. Alternativ ist natürlich alles einfacher und besser, wenn du dir einfach schnell nen Fidorkonto einrichtest. Zumindest dann zu empfehlen, wenn du eh mehr als 2500€ im Jahr umsetzen willst. |

Apologies once again for the delayed response on this forum.
I have been advised that notifications and full details are being communicated to the users affected by the pricing issue.
Although I cannot go into detail around the specifics on each case here, I have been assured that our support team will be reaching out to each customer that was affected, and I have asked them to ensure responses are timely.
Balance resets to zero without any notification should not have happened, and I do apologise if this was the case.
To clarify, the act of arbitrage itself is not prohibited on Quoine.
Only accounts where users had mispriced trades that were affected by the pricing issue on our platform have had fiat and bitcoin withdrawals halted during the investigation. I believe there are varying circumstances from case to case, from users that made small profits/reduced profits/losses with a few trades, some large losses, and some that executed many trades manually or with trading software/bots, and have amassed large sums from the initial deposits.
No other customers should be experiencing long delays in fiat/bitcoin deposits/withdrawals - please do raise customer support tickets if this is the case.
So what exactly was the problem? It sounds the real problem was a "pricing issue"? So what happend? The orderbook showed a wrong price? And if it was only a bug, why are you adding that arbitrage ban to your terms? And what does it mean for other customers, that were not affected yet? Is the price issue solved? Could I start arbitrage at your exchange now without problems? Or will you halt withdrawals and reset balance and so, if I do? @henscyber: thanks for explanation |

i have 310 BTC, 5000ETH and 250K FIAT, but now my balance has been reset to zero...they claim all account allowed continuous arbitrage across various products in the platform. Because every trader profit from arbitrage. Bitcoin price drop until USD 640 (from 700) and quoine say " you dont have profit anything from bitcoin fluctuation".
I have to ask this, cause also AlexTrader had such a big balance: Is most of your balance profit? I mean did you started with say 50 BTC and after trading at quoine you had "310 BTC, 5000ETH and 250K FIAT" ? Or is the profit itself quite small? And how do I add more pairs? I only have BTC/EUR and ETH/EUR, so what kind of arbitrage did you make? Only between those two pairs? I still don't get why Quoine prohibit Arbitrage. Would be good to see a statement from Quoine, since Arbitrage is a normal and good thing for exchange and traders. The only legal reason for resetting all these balances would be a bug which made trades possible that did not exist. But "Arbitrage" itself is no reason. |

@AlexTrader: WTF ?! O.ô with that large sum I guess you should try legal actions. It is of course ridiculous from Quoine to prohibit Arbitrage No serious exchange will prohibit this, because every exchange only profits from arbitrage traders. If not, they are obviously scam! I planned to use quoine, but it seems I won't. |

Wenn du das Bedürfnis hast moralisch richtig zu handeln, könntest du zb. den Support anschreiben und sie bitten dich zu benachrichtigen, falls sich ein User bei ihnen meldet, der dir versehentlich bitcoins gesendet hat.
Dann wartest du zb. eine Woche und wenn sich dann keiner meldet, kannste sie behalten (würde sie dann aber auch auf dein eigenes Wallet überweisen).

Was hast du denn für eine Wallet? Von welchem Anbieter?
genau. denn bei blockchain.info oder ähnlich bekannten Online Wallets gibt es oft Phishing Mails in denen sowas behauptet wird, damit du den Link in der Mail klickst und dort deine Anmeldedaten preisgibst (und dort wird dir dann zb damit du keinen Verdacht schöpfst, ein bitcoinbetrag angezeigt). Könnte also bei dir passiert sein. |

you are introducing alot of new features and improvements at your website,
but you are not able to improve your API ?!
I wrote to your Support, that they should improve API to prevent losses from API traders.
But they keep telling me, that they can't change/add things to API because of non-public reasons.
Also they can't increase the API limit for specific users.
... every other exchange is open for API improvements, but Exmo not.

Today I got a strange REST API error for a short time (lasts only ~2minutes):

In meinem Fall ist das erstellen eines Krakenkontos und Kauf der Bitcoin für mich einfach zu komplixiert für die Person. Das Geld ist meins, es ist auf ihrem Konto weil es Erbgeld einer Kontoauflösung ist. Ich habe und bekomme kein Sepa-Konto von hier in Brasilien wo ich wohne.
du könntest mal schauen, ob OKPAY Kunden aus Brasilien annimmt (aus USA nehmen sie zb. keine Kunden an soweit ich gelesen habe). Wenn ja, könntest du bei denen ein konto aufmachen und dadurch zumindest btc-e zum Euro Traden verwenden. Oder auf diese Weise über OKPAY z.b auch Forenmitglieder in Euro bezahlen, wenn du über diese kaufst. |

Also es geht grundsätzlich nur, wenn die Namen (Kontoinhaber/Accountbesitzer) übereinstimmen. In deinem Fall ist es etwas komisch, dass sie DIR anbieten, das Geld zurückzuschicken, wenn sie doch garnicht anerkennen wollen, dass du die Verfügungsberechtigung über das Geld hast. Sie müssten dann ja den Inhaber des Absenderkontos kontaktieren, nicht dich. Etwas heuchlerisch finde ich das, aber nun gut.
Natürlich schickt Kraken das Geld an das Absenderkonto zurück. Und das sollte ja schließlich in Ordnung sein. Was sie zusätzlich machen könnten, wäre den Inhaber zu benachrichtigen, dass da jemand anders von seinem Konto Geld überwiesen hat usw usf aber dazu sind sie sicherlich nicht verpflichtet. |
