maybe sth went wrong? Since 3 hours I'm not able to place an order, because I'm not able to unpack the json answer. The reposen is 200, but when trying to unpack it, I get
Maybe there is a sign in your response that my script can not read? It is in python 3.4 and I use ".json()" to unpack the response. Maybe I have do add an command to be able to read it?

But beside I can not read the response, the order is also not placed. At least the open orders are empty.

seit ca 23 uhr geht kraken wieder einigermaßen. Nicht perfekt, aber akzeptabel.

Aber es gibt dennoch ständig fehlermeldungen ,dass iwelche data not available ist oderso.
Am meisten nervt dabei die Meldung beim Auszahlen. Nachdem ich die 2FA bestötigung für eine Auszahlung abgeschickt habe, kommt häufig, dass der service currently not available wäre. Kam bei beiden meiner Auszahlungen. Habe es direkt danach nochmal versucht und dann gings durch.  Abe eine der auszahlungen wurde dadurch doppelt verschickt. Also trotz Fehlermeldung wurden die bitcoins losgeschickt.... echt nervig.

Also allgemein ist Kraken seit einiger Zeit (letzte Monate) echt ziemlich instabil. Yunus, was sagt ihr "zu eurer verteidigung"? Bisher habe ich nichts davon gelesen, dass ihr vorhabt iwas zu verbessern. Sind es immernoch Probleme mit der Cloudflare Rechnung? Aber selbst vor dem Downgrade eures Cloudflare accounts gab es schon Probleme, also wird es wohl noch viele andere ursachen geben?

und noch ein Fehler: nach dem Einloggen kommt es ab und an vor, dass ich nach "https://www.kraken.com/500" weitergelteitet werde und entsprechend eine Kraken seite vor mir habe, die sagt
trotz korrekter eingabe meiner Daten, bin ich aber nicht eingeloggt. Wenn ichs dann nochmal versuche, klappts meist.

Also alles in allem ist Kraken wirklich sehr schlimm verbuggt in letzter Zeit.
So Yunus, sag uns bitte, ob wir uns sorgen machen sollten bzw ob Kraken nicht vllt besser einige Zeit offline gehen sollte, damit ihr dese vielen Fehler behebt, bevor es Fehler werden, durch die jemand zu schaden kommt (indirekt ist das ja schon der fall, da man oft nicht vernünftig traden kann)

Seit 20 uhr scheint es umgekehrt zu sein. Via API ist absolut nichts zu machen, die Antworten dauern 100 jahre, wenn man überhaupt eine bekommt. Ab und zu kommt mal ein Call durch, aber traden ist damit unmöglich.
Ins Webinterface komme ich allerdings ganz gut zurzeit. Natürlich immernoch hier und da Probleme, aber deutlich besser als via API -.-

Since one hour even the API is not usable anymore.  90% of all calls end in nirvana. With luck there is a succesful call.  Placing one single order might be possible via API, but not trrading.

hmm.. so langsam wirds doch interessant. Denn derjenige ist immernoch da und füllt die 95 bitcoins immer mal wieder auf.
Daraus lässt sich ableiten, dass er zeitgleich wohl eine stetige Quelle von günstigen Bitcoins haben muss.

I think in combination with an master key, it is okay, to activate settings lock.
But as HPt wrote,
1) not everybody knows enough about this settings lock
2) not everybody knows, that without the settings lock, it is easy to bypass the 2FA !!!

So I still think Kraken has to do something, to make 2FA secure even without the settings lock. The 2FA method should not be changeable without access to 2FA nor password, except with a masterkey or with support.

Where can I read more about the global settings lock ? In the settings is written:
"The Global Settings Lock prevents any changes to your account settings and hides the display of sensitive info. See FAQ for more details"
But in the FAQ is nothing about it except "Lock your account settings with the global settings lock", which is not helpful at all...
edit: I would like to know, what settings exactly are affected and how to deactivate the global settings lock instantly.

Maybe you should add an additional setting? Like "Activate 2FA for setting changes"?

in der Regel hat der Bot besitzer ein maximum bzw minumum eingestellt, bis zu welchem Preis sein Bot jeden unter/überbieten soll.
Du kannst versuchen diesen Preis schrittweise rauszufinden und dich dann darüber zu positionieren.

Ich kann Bots, die ständig über/unterbieten auch nicht leiden...

You really should add a display of each ones trading volume in their account. I have absolutely no clue about my trading volume and I don't see a way to calculate it via API.

And for the next competition better add a top 10 trading volume list. If you prefer, don't write the user names, but their volume, so I can see if I have a chance to win anything.

Und in der Regel sind das tatsächlich Miner, oder die varianten die Vaagar schon aufgezählt hat.
Die möchten Ihre bitcoins halt möglichst schnell loswerden. Wenn sie dann eben nicht 4€ günstiger anbieten, dann dauert das Tage oder wochen und sie müssen die Order ständig wieder an den Preis anpassen.  Deswegen stellen sie es gleich günstiger rein, damit sie die los werden.

Meine Vermutungen:
auf okcoin und huobi liegt jedenfalls mehr geld und es gibt keine fees.
btcchina hat hingegen soweit ich weiß keine 0% fee und dadurch viele User verloren, wegen weniger user und wegen fees, ist das volumen da kleiner.
Auch war es mal so, dass es schwierig war geld nach btcchina zu kriegen, weil keine bank mehr mit denen arbeiten wollte.. hatten sie glaube ich über gutscheine gelöst... wie das heute ist weiß ich nicht.

Jedenfalls deuten Preisunterschiede darauf hin, dass es nicht unbedingt so leicht/günstig/schnell ist, Geld von huobi nach btchina zu bekommen, um die Differenzgewinne mitzunehmen

The connection problems via API started ~ 10 hours ago, so I decided to stop my bot at kraken.
Now I see the problem is not solved but worse (also website shows the cloudflare issue from time to time)

hmm... "2 weeks?" , now it is half a year later and all those small bugs are still there. (russian messages, instead of english ; the withdrawal formula and so on)

API does not work, otherwise there would be much more trades and my bot would be able to trade
Every now and then an API call comes through, but as you can see at bitcoinity, it is only one trade every ~ 3 minutes.
At least this was the situation before taking the website down  

yes... my log also says, that kraken is very very bad reachable via API since 6 hours =/  (and obviously the website too)
