That sentence is very firm IMO.  who can resist the temptation to buy bitcoins when having a large amount of money, the government must buy bitcoin with various purposes - some aim to manipulate the crypto market - invest - and others
You got a point here, but the government for sure is extremely hard on cryptocurrency because they know that they can't control Bitcoin, they will stick sure on banks which is extremely awful and that's what a lot of purposes why Bitcoin is existing, solving the current problem on traditional banking/finance.
I hope that government will not do some market manipulation just for their own good. Being strict or having regulations on cryptocurrency is already good if that's the only thing they can do for now on cryptocurrency.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The US Prosecutors are at it again against binance and CZ. on: December 13, 2022, 01:52:21 AM
Binance released an article against this: https://www.binance.com/en/blog/leadership/inside-binances-fight-against-crypto-crime-5422427314690193337

Even Binance's Twitter tweet and also retweeted by Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, about there being a news company that they are wrong or did fake news: https://twitter.com/binance/status/1602287184400326656

Overall, I am not against Binance exchange as long as they are not doing something fishy like using customers' funds for any other things that could lead to bankruptcy or a fully solvent exchange. Hoping no more next FTX exchanges will happen in the cryptocurrency space.

1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin project a failure after all ? on: December 13, 2022, 01:34:25 AM
Since I started being introduced to Bitcoin last 2017, nothing changed. Bitcoin is always a Bitcoin no matter what. I think why people noticed Bitcoin being a failure or why they are telling it, it for sure because of the price fo Bitcoin or even because they lost some money investing in Bitcoin.
They don't appreciate what Bitcoin is.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange will go out of business if every Bitcoin is hold in private wallet on: December 13, 2022, 12:44:21 AM
Bitcoin is already winning the war against the centralization of Bitcoin services, and a lot of Bitcoin holders are beginning to realize the safety of their Bitcoin when it is off the exchange and kept in a private wallet.
(.....)
I don't think anybody wants the exchange to go out of business as they provide means of exchange to their users but what is been fought against is the idea of storing your coins on exchange. Make use of exchange but only for trading and not for storing of your Bitcoin.
Exactly. For me, these cryptocurrency exchanges will stay as, like fiat currency exchanges, the gold exchange is here. The cryptocurrency exchange will stay and it has a lot of uses. The problem with centralized exchange and funds being stolen or lost is because of 3rd party that you let your Bitcoin held by them and in their custody, at the time you deposited your Bitcoin to their account, you already don't have control over your Bitcoin, it's already on their wallet.
That's why a lot of people already suggested, never to store huge amount of funds cryptocurrency exchange, don't use it as personall wallet.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin unit look like in real life on: December 13, 2022, 12:41:30 AM
Bitcoin is an illusion created via numbers and word(BTC). It doesn't really exist. Here you have all explained: https://youtu.be/4rWmOq0o1hM
Man, if BTC is an illusion, it can't be tradable and it won't have value.  Roll Eyes
It is the fact that BTC is a digital coin and it has value. If it is only an illusion, no one wants to use BTC as a digital asset or a digital currency.
(....)
Hahaha, seems this guy is spreading FUD, even provided a youtube link that explains why Bitcoin is a joke.
Bitcoin is really not an illusion because first, a lot of people are participating to make Bitcoin work, computer power, which we called bitcoin mining, helps the Bitcoin network runs. Peer-to-peer.
Second, more than 10 years and Bitcoin is still here, created multiple all-time highs since it was created.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SBF, arrested! on: December 13, 2022, 12:31:38 AM
Very surprising. There are a lot of hot issues right now in the cryptocurrency market.
I am curious now about the arrest of Sam Bankman-fried. Could this be a guarantee that users' funds on the FTX exchange will be refunded or given to the user back? The arrest of Sam Bankman-fried, could be a huge W for some people who lost their funds on the FTX exchange, but I am praying that these customers' funds must be given back to the customers.

1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: December 12, 2022, 02:05:02 AM

Even if USDC got depeged, we still have BUSD & USDT, if BUSD depeged, we still have USDT, but if USDT depeged, we are done. No any stablecoin anymore should be trusted

So far, all three are stable, but in my opinion, they are not reliable, don't wait for an incident to be alert, it's too late. They are all centralized coins and can crash or freeze our assets anytime. The influence of stablecoins on the market is vast but let's always be careful and take precautions because anything can happen, don't forget the death of UST.
Stablecoin is stablecoin. They are all centralized and being controlled, so this is the issue here, it's not decentralized so expect that there will be always a downside to it. Before there is some issue about Tether (USDT) that it's not 100% fully backed by fiat USD 1:1, I'm not sure if this is true or not but if that was true, it's very scary, that stablecoin could collapse in just any second, best example is UST, hours/days only became worthless.
1708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has improved my life on: December 12, 2022, 01:59:13 AM
Bitcoin is too much volatile and when the start of it they always think that this is just a scam like the other investment with that year but still some of people keep trusting Bitcoin and make a good profit at, the end of the bitcoin gives you a good profit other people do not.
(.....)
This is very normal even on non-bitcoin assets. Most of the time in the early stage of a project, a lot of people will not believe it, but as time goes by, when a project proves something, that's the time people start to become curious, it's like a bandwagon. Most of these people also lack of researching, they just talk and talk.
OP's case, it's one example of becoming a risk taker and a believer.
1709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful ! on: December 12, 2022, 01:53:11 AM

From the second image its clear that these security features are not deactivated so there is no chance for compromise here. So you had whitelisted your address which let you to withdraw without need of any authentication since the amount is small.
I didn't know this feature they have, so anyone can tell how much the maximum amount that allows you to withdraw without verification as long as you had been whitelisted, it could be dangerous to us even if that's a small amount.
There's no minimum amount for it when you whitelist a particular withdrawal address with a different chain/network.
Whitelist works like you flag this withdrawal address as safe so no need for some verifications every time you withdraw to that address.
This feature on an exchange is useful because it will become convenient every time you withdraw because no need for some verifications needed, it's 1 press only.
1710  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learn, correct the mistakes so that it wont hurt you in the future on: December 12, 2022, 01:49:35 AM
Too greedy although i have enough profit from my investments in 2020 holding it at the end of 2021, i failed to released and convert it to usdt
(.....)
From all of this one thing is needed take profit when happy, no matter what the situation is, follow people who are successful but also don't forget to bring your friends with you, because its the best feeling to help your friends
Another thing is taking profits. If you have a plan that you need to earn some profits from your investment or trading, then think about taking profits even a small amount or just a partial, it's like just tasting your victory.
I can relate to the first bullet because before I already experienced this, my greedy mind is always there so I keep thinking should I take profit now or wait a little longer for higher profits?
Always remember, profit is profit, small or huge, it's already profit.
1711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: December 12, 2022, 01:44:55 AM
(....)
If you can hold for some time, you can be very profitable. If you hold for some time, you have to bear a lot of losses, so it is always better to hold after understanding everything, and if you hold without understanding anything, then you will face many problems.  Be very careful.
It also depends on what cryptocurrency you hold, remember that most of the altcoins there are shitcoins or scams or useless. This is already proven all over time, Bitcoin and Ethereum proved it already over time.
Your holding time will become worthless if you hold the wrong coins so it is always better to research before deciding to hold for the long term because it's not the time you lose here, you may lose your hard-earned money too.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bloody Year 2022 coming to End on: December 12, 2022, 01:35:13 AM
(....)
The above shameful scam has completely negative impact on the Bitcoin market in 2022.  We all hope that such incidents do not happen in cryptocurrencies in the coming years.
I believe that there are some advantages and disadvantages to what happened right now in the cryptocurrency space and all those huge losses too.
For me, cycles like the bull market and the bear market got this part where there are loses or scam that came out even last before the bear market in 2018 when a lot of projects turned into scams or some Ponzi schemes exploded as the bear market commence.
So for now, it's another level and the number is huge compared to before. For me, this is just a part, the market is cleaning up the market itself.
1713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account on: December 10, 2022, 02:17:40 AM
(....)
Now my question is
~why can't we relate demo accounts to real accounts
~why do you think people still start making losses on real accounts after long time trading demo successfully
1. Because there are a lot of changes when you start trading on real accounts, the orders, buy walls, sell walls are all real now compared to demo accounts. You still can't guarantee it here.
And also, even if you are in demo accounts, you still can't always do 100%.
2. It's part of the trading, you will lose sometimes. That's why some people are using real accounts to practice so they are more aware but this is risky though.

Also with proper risk management, it will help you especially in real accounts because you know that it's really so you need to preserve your capital.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: December 10, 2022, 02:12:33 AM
Decentralized Exchange (DEX) is the future. For now, a lot of people still don't appreciate these decentralized exchanges and they have some reasons for it.
Like why they intend to stay using centralized up until now.
I'm not telling centralized exchanges are really bad, but there are just pros and cons to both centralized/decentralized exchanges. Depends from your goal if decide which one to use.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about filecoin? on: December 10, 2022, 02:08:08 AM
I don't know much about this coin, but I read a little and realized that this is a payment system? But I was wondering how much this payment system is used at all?? In general, projects with payment systems are considered very successful, it seems to me! Since the cryptocurrency itself has a close connection with payment systems!
Filecoin is a decentralized storage network and it's not built to be used as a payment method.

This altcoin already lost its value by around -98% (most altcoins do). I'm not a hater of this project but there are a lot of better ones to invest in instead of file coin.
If you can see it here: https://coinmarketcap.com/view/storage/
Filecoin is the top 1 in the storage category, which is got the highest market cap. This is the list that may help you if you are into decentralized storage projects.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT ?? What do you think about it ? ? ? on: December 10, 2022, 01:56:09 AM
(....)
NFT is only good if there’s a utility but if its just a piece of picture, expect for its value to dump as well. I’d rather but the NFT with the gambling site who can give you more bonuses instead of a plain nft.
I don't think so. There are some NFTs that are quality, it's just like having you own something physical item in the real world where that physical item is rare, with limited supply. We can use an example of some trading cards, like sports trading cards, and also some art that is made by some great artists in history.
And on NFT, some of these NFT projects are doing it. But it seems we are still early for NFT, I believe later on, some people will change their mind about NFT.
1717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: December 10, 2022, 01:52:23 AM
Market Cryptocurrencies like a coin that has the same two sides, sometimes it goes up and down in a short time, even in 1 hour there can be significant changes let alone new coins, and when the bear market occurs then like the domino effect that influences each other, as long as we are patient waiting then we can get profit.
But OP's concern is likely the cycle of the market. Where over time, there will be always a bear market and a bull market.
After a bull market, there's a bear market expected and on a bull market, there's also a bear market after.

OP's just telling basically it's good to find good projects or cheap coins or shop some coins that lost some value and possibly that in the future, it will go up higher.
1718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ftx who and when Will fund losses ? What's the further plan ? on: December 10, 2022, 01:38:35 AM

There's a tweet replied by SBF to a tweet that suggesting to issue a new FTT token for creditors/depositors and it suggests also that the profits of the exchange will go to all affected users just like a normal customer in FTX Exchange.

So for me, it seems very difficult right now because it's now difficult to gain the trust of the people. So, for now, I am still waiting for some action that the FTX exchange will do.
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I became Independent Because of Cryptocurrency on: December 10, 2022, 01:29:22 AM
I am And that was joy for me. Now I am making 100 dollars plus form crypto. That is enough for me.
(....)
This is what most other people do or especially some people who are just starting in cryptocurrency, like doing cryptocurrency trading. There's no such easy money in the world, everyone must know it.
There are just lof of misconception when you are in crypto, people thinking you are making easy money but it's not.
OP is the best example. Enjoy and savior every profit, small or big.
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 08, 2022, 01:02:06 AM
(....)
After I figured it out, I no longer expect Bitcoin to be recognized by the state, and it doesn't need to be. It is part of a special asset, not a currency.
So I don't think Bitcoin is going to become a fiat currency.
Bitcoin is really not a fiat currency. Fiat currency is the opposite of Bitcoin. For me, that's one of the many reasons why Bitcoin is still here, because of our current problem with traditional finance.
Bitcoin got a lot of differences from fiat currency, just like the unlimited supply of fiat currencies versus Bitcoin.

I respect your opinion but seems you are using the wrong words. Maybe you want to say, Bitcoin will not be globally accepted or will become official legal tender for all of the countries.
