Just like the rest been saying that gambling is for fun and not for money making or making it as a source of income. It is really just that there are people who are really that believing that they could possibly able to do such thing which we know that it is really that impossible.Just mind yourself that you are paying for the enjoyment or entertainment that you do get when you do play gambling.

Losing is always been part and very common because house do always win.If you dont set out that kind of limit towards yourself about dealing with gambling
then you would really be definitely experiencing some issues or unfortunate things to happen later on.
Many times already, in different topics of the "Gambling" section on our forum, there is an obvious idea that losing some of your own, honestly earned, or even not quite honestly earned money, is a payment for the pleasure that the player receives from his game.
It is the awareness of losing money, how simple it is to pay for this service, that always seriously affects the psychological state of the player and his comfortable state after losing. Sometimes the truth is that the person who gambles wins and then the emotions of the player are of course much more positive. It is worth considering the possibility of such an emotional rise in mood. Well, if you do not treat the lost money as a payment for pleasure, then, indeed, psychological problems may arise when a person begins to reproach himself for stupidity or anxiety. And then he humiliates himself.

And it can completely break the psyche of such a person. Up to very tragic events in his life.

There is nothing like "the player" an the psyche of a player, there are many types of players and it is for everyone to choose if they decide to play and it is fun for them or if they are taking psychological hit from it. Save those players that somehow are addicted, the rest can decide to quit if it is becoming too much and is no longer fun. Yes, you pay for a service, like in anything else.

You start no business with zero money, period. Once the site is up you have fixed costs and variable costs, that is what you need to pay whether you have users or not. Then, when you reach the critical mass of users, the loosers will obviously cover the winners and the costs of the house plus any profit that you can possibly make if things go as expected.

Ukraine should surrender just to save all of us from Russian wrath. US military commanders simply don't believe Russia will use its firepower. The rest of us realize that the Russian military is not full of super military machines. But the few they have could be used against any of us, and we won't know where until we are hit.

Russian warship with ‘unstoppable’ 7,000mph hypersonic missiles ‘sails towards US and will soon be in strike range’

... [blah blah vague militaristic chat and one sided arguments]

Cool

The Russian army is not superior in any capability to the US army. Any act of major aggression can (and will be met) with equal force and Moscow knows that very well.

Your freedom to say stupid things and hang around this forum spreading fakes and half-cooked thoughts is not free, it cost money, blood and requires calm determination.  Sit there, keyboard warrior, chairborne fighter and amateur conspirator, other are doing what you are too coward and too crazy to get, but very happy to take from others.

1264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scientists Warn That Civilization as We Know It Will End in "Next Few Decades" on: January 26, 2023, 12:05:25 AM
Quote
On New Year's Day, several Stanford scientists joined CBS' Scott Pelley on the program "60 Minutes" to discuss the global mass extinction crisis. Spoiler: no one had any good news.

Tony Barnosky, a Stanford biologist whose work involves using fossil records to map changes in ecosystems over time, told CBS that his work suggests that extinction rates today are moving at roughly 100 times the rate typically seen in Earth's four-billion-year known history of supporting life.

According to Barnosky, such rapid population loss means that Earth is currently experiencing the worst mass extinction episode since the dinosaurs. And while Earth itself has repeatedly recovered from mass extinction events, the vast majority of the life existing on our planet at the time has not.

Unfortunately, that may well include us humans — or, at least, the trappings of our technological civilization.

"I and the vast majority of my colleagues think we've had it," Barnosky's Stanford colleague Paul Ehrlich, who also appeared on the show, told Pelley, "that the next few decades will be the end of the kind of civilization we're used to."

That grim reality, according to the researchers, means that even if humans manage to survive in some capacity, the wide-reaching impacts of mass extinction — which include habitat destruction, breakdowns in the natural food chain, soil infertility, and more — would cause modern human society to crumble.

"I would say it is too much to say that we're killing the planet, because the planet's gonna be fine," said Barnosky. "What we're doing is we're killing our way of life."

In other words? If humans don't drastically course-correct, the havoc we're wreaking on the planet will very unpleasantly do so for us. It's a grim warning, but one that other experts are echoing.

Ehrlich, it's worth noting, is somewhat of an overpopulation and mass extinction icon. He published "The Population Bomb," one of the first modern books on the dangers of excess human development and population growth, back in 1968, and was considered an alarmist for the controversial predictions he made at the time. Although not all of his contentious forecasts came true, two big ones — that greenhouse gases would melt polar ice, and that humanity would overwhelm the wild — have undoubtedly since materialized. And sadly, his reasoning for their realization feels depressingly familiar.

According to Ehrlich, the problem is "too many people, too much consumption and growth mania" — a reality that few would likely argue is showing any meaningful sign of slowing down.

"Humanity is not sustainable. To maintain our lifestyle (yours and mine, basically) for the entire planet, you'd need five more Earths," Ehrlich told his interviewer. "Not clear where they're gonna come from."

"Resources that would be required, the systems that support our lives, which of course are the biodiversity that we're wiping out," the 90-year-old researcher added. "Humanity is very busily sitting on a limb that we're sawing off."

There is a question I have about projected future soil infertility. I think everyone knows there could be a deep connection between soil fertility and animal manure. As species across the world decline in population. There is a decreased volume of animal manure reaching soils. Which could cause soil to become infertile.

One example of this is the widespread devastation of bison herds in north america. Prior to european settlers decimating their populations, it was said that bison herds in north america flocked together like locusts in their annual migration across the continent. Reduced bison herds lead to reduced bison manure which contributes towards reduced soil fertility.

But even as far back as 100 years ago, it was still very common for many to reside in independent farming communities with many animals to maintain relative fertility of soil. More recently the social exodus from farms to cities and modern living may correlate with lower populations of animals per square acre (hectare). Which could correlate with reduced square footage of arable land across the globe.

But to be honest, I can't say I've looked very far into this topic.

It is known that independent farmers in remote desert locations have succeeded in growing many acres of forestland in areas where it was considered impossible to do so.

On regards to soil fertility, the soil used for food production does not depend on the animal manure at all since decades ago. It is curious, to say it, that the guy that invented the gas used to kill the allied troops during WWI was the same person that industrialised the use of modern mineral fertilisers based on. He is also linked to the invention of Zyclon B, later used in concentration camps during the Nazi period.

Quote
Fritz Haber (German pronunciation: [ˈfʁɪt͡s ˈhaːbɐ] (listen); 9 December 1868 – 29 January 1934) was a German chemist who received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1918 for his invention of the Haber–Bosch process, a method used in industry to synthesize ammonia from nitrogen gas and hydrogen gas. This invention is important for the large-scale synthesis of fertilisers and explosives. It is estimated that one-third of annual global food production uses ammonia from the Haber–Bosch process, and that this supports nearly half of the world's population.[4] [5][6] Haber, along with Max Born, proposed the Born–Haber cycle as a method for evaluating the lattice energy of an ionic solid.

Haber, a known German nationalist, is also considered the "father of chemical warfare" for his years of pioneering work developing and weaponising chlorine and other poisonous gases during World War I. He first proposed the use of the heavier-than-air chlorine gas as a weapon to break the trench deadlock during the Second Battle of Ypres. His work was later used to develop Zyklon B, used for the murder of more than 1 million Jews in gas chambers in the greater context of the Holocaust.

Before this, it all pointed to gloom and doom and a Malthusian positive check on population (AKA as massive famine).

Retirement

1. one day you will retire. You won't be going to work. You won’t have office power any more. No influence or at best, a reduced influence. Your cash flow will also reduce.! Check retirement date on your payslip....

You seem to ignore how modern politics work in the "civilised" world. The retirees are the foundation of most conservative parties - they are known to go to vote "religiously" in every election, they rarely will accept candidates that are looking for social changes or socialist politics and have a huge influence in preserving the pension system and the status quo. Some radical examples are countries where the young get salaries that are smaller than some pensions.

1268  Economy / Economics / Re: how to overcome inflation for the community on: January 22, 2023, 01:14:44 AM
how to deal with inflation according to my community:

1. Save money
2. Prepare for an emergency
3. Looking for additional income
4. Consumption of domestic products
5. Start investing and saving

that is the way in my opinion to overcome inflation in society. then what do you think? Is this way possible to overcome inflation?

Not really any of those, but at the same time all of those. Buying durable goods like houses or land are is useful, buying gold or bitcoiun may be a good idea. Saving is not a great idea as such as inflation kills cash value, looking for additional income is not specific to inflation and about investing, yes, but you have to make sure ahtat yuouunderstand what classes of assets are of to invesrt in an inflationary context.
1269  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: January 21, 2023, 07:08:12 PM
I am surprised there haven't been any threads opened about this yet.

In recent months, Russia has massed hundreds of thousands of troops and other military equipment on the Russia-Ukraine border. It is well known that Russia wants Ukraine to be part of its county, however Russian dictator, President Putin, has claimed that the troop mass is part of a training exercise.

The US and NATO allies are sending military equipment to Ukraine to help repeal an attack, and there is some talk about possibly sending troops to the region.

Update 2/18/22:
It appears there may have been some kind of false flag operation in Dumbas, Ukraine, an area controlled by a separatist group, today, possibly involving an alleged bombing of the car belonging to the leader of the separatist group. It is possible this is part of some kind of false flag operation to create a pretext for an invasion.

President Biden today said he believes Putin has made the decision to invade and will start an invasion in the coming days.

Update 2/21/22:
It appears an invasion has begun

Update 2/23/22:
It appears there are some kind of bombings in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine

Addressing President Putin as a detector means you are already taking sides because both countries are trying to save their sovereignties as a nation. The United Kingdom and the United States are just playing politics with the Russian people and their economic activities. The sooner the president of Ukraine understands this trick, the better for them.

No that is not true. Ukraine is defending its sovereignty, the Russian Federation is waging a war to conquer territory that belong to Ukraine. There is no threat to the Russian Federation. Even during this war, the non-combatant countries are not doing everything they could to stop the RF army and are even reluctant to send a few tanks to the Ukrainian army.
1270  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe racism has come to stay!! ? on: January 20, 2023, 01:48:05 AM
It never really "came", it seem a natural instintc of humans to distrust whatever is different and somehow feel more affinity for those with similar looks and similar culture. It is also related to the ability to better interpret non-verbal communication of those similar to us. However, despite being natural, it does not mean that it is right and that we should accept it at all.
1271  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Electric Cars - The future ? on: January 20, 2023, 01:45:22 AM
If it is not electric it has to be something that has similar characteristics. We have already overextended the rational use of fuel powered land vehicles beyond the point in which the health of many is at a serious risk, believe or not people die because they do not have the clean air their need, and that is not just in less developed countries, but even in civilised Europe and US.
1272  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: January 20, 2023, 01:41:30 AM
I still think that Ukraine committed a great stupidity by not making an unconditional surrender in March last year. Ukraine did not have, does not have and will not have a chance in confrontation with Russia. Any tactical success is simply an increase in the number of deadweight losses and an increase in the amount of debt to Western countries, for which future generations will have to pay.
You seem to be very confident about Russia abilities to continue war for many years with unlimited number of tanks, missiles human power and etc. And at the same time you understimate West. Things like Himars is cool, but in general, NATO countries gave to Ukraine things that they don't need themelves. Like tanks from soviet era, post WW2 howitzers. But they aren't getting things what would be real game changer like long range missiles for HIMARS, combat aircrafts and etc. There is so much noise about air defense systems or Leopard tanks because West still fear to ''escalate conflict. But Ukraine achieved a lot already with things that they have.
Yep, and I have repeatedly said that time works for Russia. And I don't underestimate the West. Not only is it unprofitable for the West to enter into direct confrontation with Russia, it is also unprofitable for the excessive escalation of the Ukrainian conflict. Because if it gets out of control, this fire could engulf the whole of Europe.

The problem is not if it is "profitable" to confront the RF (it is already happening in case you have not noticed, it is just that Europe is not sending people), the problem is that having the RF, which has given proof of being aggressive, at the doors of Poland and Central Europe is even more expensive than "confronting".

But the cure for overconfidence is simply loosing. The problem is that it comes at a huge cost, as you will eventually learn.

I think Putin has taken a rather tough and principled position in the style of "all the goals of the special operation will be achieved in full."

Was putting up a SAM on the roof of the Russian MOD building one of the goals?

He must have learnt about the "precision" of their own missiles.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 20, 2023, 01:32:42 AM
The Madrid game is getting more interesting now. The score is 2-2 now and the match has entered a quite crucial time in the last 5 minutes this time.
.
Once again, an epic comeback for Real Madrid. After falling 2-0 behind Villarreal in the first half, they were finally able to pull off an epic comeback in the second half. Initially, there were doubts because Villareal's play was so good and tense. They were quite strong on all fronts and overwhelmed Real Madrid players until they took the lead. but unfortunately, they were unable to hold the position and just the opposite, losing in the end. Congratulations to Real Madrid has won the match against Villarreal 2-3.

Well that is just a game, not a trend, i would be more worried if they kept having those results for a while. Real Madrid is always able to go up the table even when they are not in the right place mid-season. The fact that they do "epic" games against a lesser rival is only natural, as the seem simply from different worlds and just a chance that they are playing together.
1274  Economy / Gambling / What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 20, 2023, 01:26:23 AM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?
1275  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: January 20, 2023, 01:20:27 AM
It would really be interesting to know if anyone has used the list of crypto casinos proposed by OP, there are online casinos there that are not mentioned here on the forum yet, so many are simply little known.

We won't know for sure, but chances are that not many are interested in using it. after all, that the casino Op is proposing is not a pure crypto casino. despite the Op's recommendations, some of those casinos have been operating for 20 years. that doesn't mean many of us would be interested in giving it a try, since we already have casinos that are favorites on the trust list in our community.

In fact, some of the best casinos that we have on this forum are not listed from the sites that Op recommends. the same goes for legitimacy, regarding the site Op recommends. it is very tiring to go through them and scrutinize them one by one, therefore also, I doubt that many of our members have tried the casinos listed in the site Op recommended. the proof, so far none of us have made a post from one of these casinos.

For me it makes sense if the list of cryptocasinos are those that naturally have been in there for a long time. It is difficult to maintain such a record if you are trying to take advantage of a customer of trying to run away with the dough. Also, if they are able to re-invent themselves from time to time and do promotions and new games, even better for all the users.
1276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 20, 2023, 01:18:05 AM
It is a good decision but not for all users. I don`t see any problem to root phone, but it is not standard. There are lots of men around me, that just afraid to do smth with the phone except downloading apps from official marketplaces. They have only one case - to change phone. But nowadays it is normal practice - change phone every 2-3 years.
Yes, those are the most viable recommendations to be able to have a better experience, but of course, taking into account all the applications and now their updates are more recent, every week there can be very good updates and all this requires resources, the best in that case is to change the phone for one with more power, with much more speed, with a much larger screen, now the android systems are in a good version that runs whatever, I have seen some that come with up to 128Gb of storage and even with 4 Gb of RAM, it's almost a PC, the newer phones have much better features than that, the ones from brands like Aple, Samsubng, are the ones with the latest technology.
In my opinion today 4/64GB is a minimum memory that any phone must have. Of course it doesn`t mean that we have to change our old phones right now, but if it is time to change phone - it is minimum that we must choose. And today i can`t say how long it would be enough. The problem we have that the programmers today doesn`t care about memory - they sure that the user has a good phone or he can change it.

Gambling casino does not have requirement with specifications so the players can play the problem with this is the capability of your phone to keep supporting the web browser you are using because that gambling casino is flexible into different devices and because of the updates of the browsers your phone taking down slowly due to having a lower amount of RAM and ROM which is the reason why you didn't get a better experience because of those devices, currently the ideal is to have an at least 6 GB of ram and 64 to 128 of ROM so you can really enjoy the gambling experience but of course still depends on the application you are using.
Absolutely mate,  because browser will update and our phone getting slower it because of low capacity or run out of storage, maybe it's time to change our phone and also it's eady to change nowadays cause there are many new andriond phone coming with high specs .But the main reason is that if still your phone can access the site and then still it's useful in the terms of gambling so no need to worry.

It is common problem for many sites that use android as client platform - they cannot fully control the customer experience as they would with a propietary web page or even a desktop app of shorts. Going slow is just one of the many things that could happen, it is also about loosing customers for compatibility issues as other stuff like different screen sizes for different users.
1277  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: January 20, 2023, 01:13:25 AM
And such players usually lose everything pretty quickly.  And this should also be taken into account when calculating the income and expenses of the casino from promotions and bonuses on Black Friday.

Yes, there is always wagering requirements with these offers and most people will not be able to cash out these bounces and end up losing money. But this is part of gambling.
And if someone can't meet the wagering requirements of the offer, he better not push himself to try to get the promotion.
It would be better if he waited for another promotion with less high requirements so he could try to participate in it.
Black Friday is probably the moment that many people have been waiting for because casinos can give something special to the people who participate.
And this is where we have to be wise in dealing with the promotion so that it doesn't have a bad effect on us.

most promotions will push the customer a little that is true, it is for each one to make sure that it is worth it and that you are not really going above your chosen betting an playing budget. Promotions in the end are a marketing tool and they induce people to buy stuff even if they cannot afford it or if it is not exactly what they want. Just use common sense.

...

Russians can't afford to lose this war, so they will probably all die before giving up

No no no... This is not "the Russians" -  The current RF government may not be able to survive a clear defeat. Russians can perfectly go on with their lives victorious or not. I mean, those that have not died for Putin in vain.

As I understand it, a cauldron was formed there for at least 400 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who heroically continue to resist without much chance of success after losing control over the dominant height. Good job Wagner.
After long months of negative success and some glorious retreats, Russia finally achieved something... Do you still dream about taking Kyiv?
For me personally, it’s enough for now that this year in Kyiv, for the first time in many years, there was no traditional torchlight procession in honor of Bandera. It is still unreasonable for Russia to take Kyiv now - together with Kyiv, it will have to take all the huge debts of Ukraine, which it has managed to do since the beginning of the special operation.

Remember back a few weeks into the war when you thought Russia was going to take Kiev and throw a parade by the end of last Spring?

In Kyiv on May 9 2022, a traditional parade will be held in honor of the victory of the USSR over Nazi Germany. It is naive and foolish to doubt it.

Imagine what you would've said then, how naive and foolish you'd think of someone that told you that Ukraine would retake more than half of the land Russia occupied, force Putin to draft civilians to fight, the Moskva would be sunk, the bridge to Crimea bombed, and almost a year later Ukraine would still be fighting.

Just classic. ''Nazis'' in Ukraine is terrible thing, but everything is ok when criminals like serial killers, pedophilles, rapers and etc is fighting on your side. Many of time had lifteime sentences. Lifes of these peoples don't have big value in Russia, but I just remind that if they will be lucky enough to comeback alive from Ukraine, they won't get back in prisons and I'm just wondering how they will integrate in your society.
You better worry about your future. Russia has stood and will stand, but as for the prospects for Ukrainian statehood, I am less sure that it will be possible to preserve it at least in some form.

Very thoughtful of you to tell others what they should worry about. Meanwhile the RF is being played into using up the economic resources, the manpower and the political capital into a war that, even if "won" is already lost - What would you be "occupying"? A country flattened to ruins and full of people that do not want Russians there? A country in which you will need permanent military presence? A new breeding ground for possible terrorism?

But do not worry - that is not going to happen. The US strategists know that Russia is not a country to be taken militarily or by killing their people, or by taking up territory. As the cold war proved, all they have to do is embarking the RF into an attrition war - similar to the cold war that broke the USSR, but this time probably faster.

Russia will stand, for sure, in some form or shape, probably poorer... with one government or another, as for you individually, well... when there is an economic shitstorm chances are that you, your friends and your family get caught into it so take up your own advice and get ready for the crash.

Latest news are that Germany will provide more Patriot batteries and they are considering sending proper MBT, such as the Leopard. Things are going to get ugly for those soviet era tanks, half maintained and undermanned. All of that may not stop the war, but does accelerate the degradation of the "soviet army", the (unfortunately) killing of young RF citizens and the economic pressure on the RF military expenses.

I use the string 'Nazi' to represent a form totalitarianism informed more or less directly by the thoughts and ideas of the German NAZI party.

I use the string 'ZioNazi' to represent the above when those who are largely driven by Zionist ideology implant 'nazi' ideas into dupes to ultimately benefit their Zionist goals.

I use the string 'ZioCon' to when talking about Zionists who identify as neoconservatives operate in ways which benefit their Zionist goals.

I use the string 'NaZioCon' for the downstream dead-enders (mostly Ukrainians currently) who are essentially dupes and victims of the machinations of some of the aforementioned groups.  Also for neoconservatives who utilize the more useful elements of nazism in their designs.

At least I try to.  I'll set aside my current hypotheses about the relationship between 'Zionists' and 'Talmudists/Kabballahists' for a later date.  They are less developed and the subject is more complex than the fairly simply political/operational stuff.

So in your world the Sionist try to implement Nazism (a sworn enemy) to benefit their goals. The discussion is unrelated to Ukraine, but you have to judge people much more for what they do than for what they  say. Could you please tell me how the actions of Putin at this point differ from those that a fascist government would take?

Thinking pan-germanism, pan-slavism... I fail to see the difference. And I get that the idea of "fighting the nazis" may be accepted in the RF society since it touches on the collective conscience to WW II and tales of heroes, but that only flies with people that choose to believe in it. Anyone with a rational thinking knows is propaganda.

Glad to know you are revisiting expectations. It will take a few iterations of "victories by retreating" until you find out that war is costly, but for everyone. The only winner on this war is the US.

Let me disagree with the assessment.
I have worked and communicate with representatives of the banking sector and large grocery chains. The essence of this process, at least in our country (I'm sure the situation is identical in others) is as follows:
1. There is a problem of overproduction or strong competition in the market
2. Banks have accumulated huge reserves of money that are "dead weight" and that generate losses rather than profits.
3. Lending, in terms of interest rates, has sagged a lot.

As a result, installment selling solves these problems:
- purchasing power is growing (it's easier to buy an expensive thing and pay 6-12-24 months for it). For example, now in Ukraine, with all the well-known problems, an installment plan for the purchase of equipment for 6 months costs 0% rise in price. For 12 months - approximately 5% per annum
- banks receive an additional % from retail chains, which, with mass purchases, gives tangible income instead of losses
- producers receive higher consumption of their goods, which allows them not to reduce production and not increase costs
- retail chains do not bear the costs of storage and / or disposal of goods that become less relevant due to the release of new product lines.

so that the system is quite beneficial to everyone - the consumer, the financial sector, manufacturers, sellers. Without the movement of money - the economy begins to die ....

Being that true, the BNPL "revolution" comes hand in hand with the new Fintech, is not exactly as ye-olde-credit card with a 22% interest. The concept is the seller using the BNPL supplier as a service that is appreciated by the customer and tends to increase sales. For the seller, the Fintech provides immediate liquidity in exchange for a commission. Is not exactly the model of a bank, which does not by default provide immediate liquidity.
