1361  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Indonesian ban on sex outside marriage affect businesses adversely? on: December 07, 2022, 11:43:07 AM
...
however
this law was originally designed to stop child sex trafficking and prostitution.
(the big problem of indonesia)
...

Which it will fail, as underaged women are married to men they barely know at an age in which they should be playing with dolls... Is it not trafficking because it is their own family selling them? Another step in radicalisation, another stupid law getting the world 100 years back. If you want to fight child sex, fight poverty and start changing a culture that reduces women to cattle.
1362  Other / Politics & Society / Are Elon Musk & Trump planning a coup in the US? on: December 07, 2022, 11:34:55 AM
Elon buying Twitter, which banned Trump - quite late if you ask me - for using it to mobilise the radical supporters into marching violently in the Capitol, then saying that "there was information that was hidden from the public" - which points to supporting conspiracies and Trump and his appointed candidates still on the theory of the stolen election...

I mean, just add 2 + 2 and this looks like Trump trying to get elected even if he does not get elected. There is not much from there to saying that he is "entitled to another mandate after because the second was stolen" or anything along those lines...
1363  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: December 07, 2022, 09:08:37 AM
I'm sure they are using cryptography in their games, because hash function is cryptography, right? But regarding blockchain technology, how, in your opinion, it can be used in slot games, for instance? You mean using blockchain technology instead of RNG, right? In the case of slots it's thousands various outcomes per second worldwide. How can blockchain technology be of a help here?
Yes, you are right. Most casinos use cryptography in their provably fair algorithms and this is common especially on in-house games such as dice, roulette, crash.. Like Coinbox1 already explained.
Regarding the blockchain technology, I meant omething like smart contracts (like the difference between CEXs and DEXs). The player interacts directly with the smart contract and everything is recorded on the blockchain. It's going to ba a challenge but still feasible.

Too many scalability problems IMO, the blockchain has certain uses but a private casino recording in a blockchain seems like overdoing it. Provably fair is an interesting application, but that is pretty much it. There is not much benefit from having tokens or records, I would even think that some people would rather not have any records of their activity  Grin
1364  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you were building a Sportsbook... on: December 07, 2022, 08:36:18 AM
If you were building a Sportsbook, what API would you suggest integrating?

Would like live betting & props too if there's anything out there that offers this!

Thank you  Grin

Instead of asking about the desired API, I think you better ask for all the desires and wishes for a better sportsbook.
You may face a lot of different opinions from many users, which would eventually lead you towards a better idea in terms of requirements for a better sportsbook.

IP address is also an important factor for casinos so that some gamblers will not be scared of there funds when they find out that the IP address of the casino is from a region that is not good or have a bad reputation for online gambling. This is why the IP address is of good importance and the government also will not proceed with bigger task for the operating casino.

I have a question regarding IP addresses, I live in a residence, where I share the internet with some neighbors, if I urge them to enter the casino, they register with their computer, and they are people who will use the internet that I have , that is considered cheating then? Everyone plays from their phone or from their computer, but do the IP addresses that the casino seek to have be different on the devices or do they have to be from another service provider? where I live I only get one service provider and it would be painful to tell them if I want them to invite them to a casino to pay for their own internet.

The site can be located in a certain region, serverwise, but the company jurisdiction is more important, they would need to make sure that the country has a positive attitude towards gaming but at the same time is going to enforce the rules that make all this be honest. Else, it does not matter if the servers are in the US or in some region in the Pacific, is about the laws.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: December 07, 2022, 08:33:39 AM
I'm actually a little dissatisfied with why the OP thinks that there should be some kind of special casinos for the plebs.

Of course when betting thousands of dollars in a gambling area like Las Vegas, it's not for the plebs.Huh  And that those millionaires who play there are better than those players who bet $10.  How are they better???  Yes, they are all much worse than us ordinary people who honestly earn a living, and do not squander crazy money from the inheritance, or people like SBF (Well, of course, until the collapse of FTX! ) Grin).
In general, it is unfair to divide players into plebs and no-plebs.
Where is the boundary of such a division - there is none!

Yeah, all casinos need two types of players, the "plebs" if you want to call them that way and the "big shots". The first ones will be on the retail end, little bonus, not much attention from the site, etc...  while the big spenders will receive all the attention and get plenty of freebies. But there is not much difference other than the stakes in terms of the games being played I would say,
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: December 07, 2022, 08:30:52 AM

btc365 now its scamming site, they blocked 90% accounts , so I'm looking for something similar

90%, that's too high. I think the site you are referring is a popular gambling site, so why would they block gamblers?

Please mate, is this information reliable? you need to provide some source.
I am also wanted to know how did he come to that conclusion of 90% of gamblers from that site had been blocked?

not sure if this is indeed similar to what had happened .

If there's no proof then it's hard to believe on this statement.

A few of the words in the title thread are pretty much red flags: Chinesse (not precisely known for giving advantage to others in the deals, nor giving accurate information), an no KYC, which is pretty much banned all over the world. It seems so doubtful that the proof to the contrary of being a scan would need to be also quite extensive. I wonder why are we even trying.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: December 07, 2022, 08:28:18 AM
what are your assessment to HUNNY tokens?
they have 65% APR here are the list of pools https://hunny.finance/#/pools
found out they have multiple projects like hunnyplay.com and hunnypoker.com

you can see i'm wearing the signature. its logical to just shill it here presumably the users in this thread are more than likely interested to casino tokens like this one. history shows that the price ATH last year was $1.36. now its down to $0.006. it must be the bottom.

I am not really confident on these, but honestly, I am not really confident in any other token at the moment. There has to be a clear advantage over bitcoin, which means the token should not be linked to it, which is something that is not happening in general. It also has to give a clear advantage in the gaming, as you are always at risk of the site closing, etc...
1368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 07, 2022, 08:25:00 AM
It's about 500-600km from Ukraine border or frontline and Ukraine don't have such long range weapons. Russia says it was Tu-141 Strizh drone from Ukraine. Even if it's true, then it shows how effective Russian air defense is if old soviet drone can fly few hundreds km through territory of Russia without being hit.

And what about the air defense that NATO has? Some may have forgotten about the drone that flew from the direction of Ukraine, flew over Romania and Hungary and crashed on the capital of Croatia. In an hour of flight, no one detected it or tried to shoot it down - really impressive.

However, it should be said that such drones are very difficult to detect because they fly at very low altitudes and if programmed well, they can use natural objects to hide from radar. The fact that they fly in all directions without being detected speaks in favor of this.

It seems that air attacks in general are at the moment exceeding the defensive capacity in general. Anti-air is expensive and cannot cover all territory, but just vital points and perhaps cities. Meanwhile, cheap IKEA drones can be cheaply be sent by the hundreds, so even if 80% are lost it does not matter.

Having said that, these attacks are a weapon of destruction, but not really a weapon of conquer. It seems that the RF is trying to force a diplomatic hand rather than real military gains.
1369  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the Ukraine War a Money Laundering Scheme? on: December 05, 2022, 08:08:30 PM
No it is not. There are much more efficient ways to launder money and a war is always bad for business (unless you sell weapons). Laundering money is pretty much accepted by many governments as long as it is the "right people" laundering, they leave some chunks in the table for the politicians and drive somehow the increase in the property market. Nah... laundering works better in peace.

The Ukraine war isn't about little money laundering. It's about the foundation of US money, which is a gigantic money laundering scheme.

I don't know if Russia has its own money laundering scheme to control the world. But the US dollar certainly is one.

The reason for the US push against Russia is that the US banking dollar is a Ponzi, as well. And like all pyramid Ponzi's, it will die if it can't find more people and companies to add to the Ponzi. Russia simply won't allow itself to be added to this Ponzi. So, the US is trying to use force to do it... force through Ukraine.

This whole thing can be seen in my thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5414658.msg60995801#msg60995801. Oh, that's right. You don't want to check it out to see. Almost forgot.

----------

If you are truly on the side of the people of Ukraine, tell them to get their Bibles out, and read and accept the first 4 books of the New Testament. Everybody dies, and Ukrainian people will be dying faster if they keep pushing at Russia. At least, if they come to believe about Jesus, they will be raised to life in the last day at the time of the Judgment, when Jesus returns.

Cool

BA, if you really want to be taken seriously, you are going to actually provide realistic evidence of the things your say, because it is very trendy to be a conspiracy theorist and it seems to be commonly accepted that anyone out there may know more than the people who actually know about things after studying all their life - but I do not. I am not blind, I do not fail to see the "scheme behind" nor anything like that. It is simply that I have actually bothered to learn about how the world works from proper sources.

Now, if you expect any kind of reasonable discussion, you would need to stop mentioning your imaginary friends (such as "God") or choose to go and talk to them.

BTW, Ukrainians are mostly Orthodox, which actually have a version of the Christian legends much closer to the original ones, kept by the Byzantines. You do not get to teach anything to them regarding Christian mythology.
1370  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 05, 2022, 08:00:16 PM
...

I wonder how much more US bribing it will take for Zelensky to get his face on some money one day.

So be it. "Without you!" Just remember. It also may mean "without life." And that's okay. Think of the peace without Zelensky and the US pushing into Ukraine affairs.

You don't seem to understand that Russia is not the same Russia as in Soviet Union times. Russia was gaining through fair trade... same as any nation. But it is the US that is using Soviet tactics to push against Russian fair trade, through force, through Ukraine.

$100 billions in aid to Ukraine for what? To make and push a war that Ukrainians suffer in? You jokers have it backwards.

Cool

Does Christmas exist in BADeckerland? If so, happy Xtmas. Now, picturing Putin and the Russian Federation as a innocent victim of the doings of the US is unrealistic. The RF had joined in general terms the global commerce and was doing reasonably well - as much as one of the most corrupt governments in the world would allow. The need to illegally take Crimea and the attempts to puppet-govern Ukraine are not something neutral and are well away from being a victim of anything.

Everybody understands that the RF is not the USSR - it is just that the old habits seem to die hard. I would say that the Army has become even more undisciplined, corrupt and sadistic, and that is a lot to say!
1371  Other / Politics & Society / Qatar Footballl World Cup - People decided not to watch on: December 04, 2022, 10:55:51 PM
I have recently meet a few people that are just not watching any football match of the World Cup because they feel that the Qatari government has ignored many of the most basic human rights. I already knew that in most emirates of the area, there are several classes of workers. The elite does not really work or they just manage at high level or do politics or get paid as "local partners" of foreign companies. A second level, Muslims but not of the elites are mid-managers. Europeans and Americans are despised, but they are necessary for skilled jobs. For example, if there is a queue for a restaurant, the locals will be seated first even if they arrive last. Obviously, Europeans are willing to put up with the shit but the price is two to three times their salaries at home.

An now we get to the last tier: Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis, Philippines,... the moment they arrive, their passports are taken from them and they are stuck in the country for periods of 5 or more years. No air conditioned in the barracks, misery salaries, medieval work conditions...

I do understand that some of us will decide not participating on this. The Cup is filled with blood.

1373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 04, 2022, 10:38:14 PM
If you think that Russia doesn't have basic human rights, all you need to do is search Youtube for all the Russian videos that show the freedom they have.

They even have democracy among their leaders. They elect a person to be in power, and so far Putin has been successful in being what the majority wants. All governments are at least slightly different in their election methods. If you don't like their methods, be glad you aren't in Russia.

Ukrainians are very glad they're not in Russia and they would like that to be the case going forward. Unfortunately the totally democratically elected Putin is bringing the freedom of getting tortured and killed to Ukraine. Can you tell him - since you seem to have a direct line to Kremlin - that if he fucks off now and goes back to rigging elections and killing journalists in Russia then he might hold on to power until he croaks. Thanks.

It is probably the best advice. Withdrawn the slave troops before they just run away in chaos, claim a total victory and decide that Ukraine has been "denazified enough" and that this will teach them what the Eastern culture is. Make a parade by the newly inaugurated "Moscow Sun" and call it a day. Die in peace one day, knowing that you crapped, but not enough to be killed.
1374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is marriage a kind of punishment? on: December 02, 2022, 10:33:23 PM
I am working on an article on relationships and marriages. In my part of the world marriage feels like punishment on the female gender. In the days of old as I learnt, it was the responsibility of the man to provide and protect the family but in today’s society, men relax and have the women do almost everything. I observed this most in Nigeria or African. women grow old faster once married. I take instances from my neighbours, family and the society. The man on any day wakes up, take his bath, dress up, eat and off to work if he has one. The woman is the cook, launder, housekeeper, nanny, hand lady, errand girl, cleaner, and she must be working etc. just name it and she must not complain, she must not be tired. For real this is happening don’t think am just assuming. I see it live. Why is it so? I once asked a man in this case, why he maltreats his wife like a slave and he said no reasonable man is allowed to do house chores or assist in anything. The work of the man is to bring money that’s all. Can this be true?  Will you like your sisters, daughters, neighbours, friend  be treated badly in the name of marriage? Let’s talk. No abuses or insult please. I need soul lifting contribution.

What you are describing is sad, but true in an unbelievably large part of the world. Men are educated in considering women cattle or even less. Some muslin clerics instruct the men on how to best beat their women, in many bits of Africa there is FGM (female genital mutilation) and there is a great difficulty in educating in general, so educating in gender equality and respect is out of reach completely.

Marriage feels like a punishment to many yes.

Are you sure about Georgia? As far as Ukraine is concerned, yes, the request has to be examined and above all NATO must make sure that it can effectively defend any new member from aggression, as it cannot afford to loose reputation in the even it cannot be done. Now, that is not such an easy task when you have a barbaric neighbour throwing trash in your garden. The defensive systems needed go well beyond the rapid intervention force.

In other news, tabloids are reporting that Putin fell down the stairs and shit his pants.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11494595/Vladimir-Putin-fell-stairs-home-soiled-himself.html

They always find the best pictures to use.

The news is probably not real, I am not even sure this is not ironic? However Putin is quite old, he has started this war because he is got maybe 5 to 10 years of good health and "good thinking" left and has decided that he wants a page on the history books. Yes, he will probably defecate on himself in a few years, after having defecated virtually over the thousands of people. Sad history page it will be.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: The Economist: 335000 people could "freeze to death" in Europe on: December 02, 2022, 10:26:54 PM
an ALL-CAUSE mortality rate of EU people per year is about 4.2m

an average "climate" caused death rate is about 300k
they are saying this year it may be for climate deaths being 335k this year

an increase of 35k
Thanks, that is the information I was looking for. A source would have been useful.

Yep, that is right, a number of people in Europe die anyway for weather related matters, including freezing. Most of the people who freeze are by accident - most of Europe and certainly most of the developed countries have mechanisms and "safety nets" to prevent people from dying from hunger or freezing to death. I believe there is a lot of RF propaganda attached to this type of news.
1377  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: December 02, 2022, 10:23:34 PM
Many are saying that the fees in eth have decreased again. I'm only not sure though if it's true because I haven't use eth lately
I usually do not make transactions on the erc20 network but I had a few (150 USDT) on duelbet which I had to withdraw. I had made a withdrawal request of 150$ USDT but I have received only about 86$ USDT on my account. That means I have been charged about 64 USDT. So, there is no alternative way except avoiding the erc20 network.
Even after the merge the fee is not as low as expected from the team. Add is something that a casino can decide to bring to there platform through various ways so that customers too can benefit. Just like here in BitcoinTalk. People are been paid to wear a particular avatar and signature for them to get paid as they keep advertising the casino. If they can establish other form of ad for their customers to participate in which can be another medium of users making extra meaning apart from betting and waiting to make some winnings.

The campaigns in Bitcointalk are paid certainly, but there is also an element of reputation. I will explain, if you pay for advertising on this forum, which is well known for having a wide range for denoucing abuse and is quite open to participation, it gives the casino a great chance to prove its reputation. That is probably one of the most important things for users.
1378  Economy / Services / Re: POKER COURSES FOR SALE on: December 02, 2022, 10:21:17 PM
Can I watch you play at a site so that I know you win before paying?
After reading a few of his replies, he seems to be claiming that he's a successful poker player so this is going to be an easy thing for him if he wants to have a demo that he's got from those courses that he's got.
But his last reply was since July and then he's online last Nov. 12 so basically, he's still on this thread looking out for the replies of the others and this could reach him back whenever he's back to this thread even he's offline.
One thing I have learned to avoid is online strategies from people I don't know. I have been affected mentally countless of times thinking of blessed moments that have come with the way some people would package their know-how/expertise, but in the end, they will disappoint after wasting much time with it. If this guy would have something important to say, he must have discussed it on the thread, which makes me suspect a foul play.

Anyone should not PM or take such seriously if not want to be swindled because they often lure unsuspecting victims to the PM. There can't be a sure poker-winning course, they are only using those vices to make money.

I agree with you that it's very hard to trust people in the internet where everything could be faked. When it comes to poker courses companies usually team up with big poker professionals that are famous and everybody knows them from the TV live coverage of big tournaments. Having a poker professional who won a few bracelets teaching his strategy in a course is the best advertising you could ask for. The problem is for someone who is a millionaire to sit down and teach you his strategy will cost you a lot of money. I saw some poker material from Fedor Holz which was great, very detailed and advanced material, but his course is also very expensive. You won't get such material for free and it's difficult to decide if such a poker course is going to be worth it. We need to be aware that a poker professional spend thousands of hours playing poker to become an expert. While a poker course can help us a lot to improve our game, it’s not a guarantee to make us professional poker players. When it comes to learn and improving our poker game we will still have to play a lot. Even the best poker strategy is not going to solve all our problems. My advice would always be to give a course a try if they offer some free promotional material. Based on it we should evaluate if the course is worth it’s money or not. Because if we pay too much money for a poker course than we will be left without a bankroll to play actual poker.

In the end, it is much more useful to go to the well-known sources for most players. At least you know that they have been successful, while an different thing is that they are going to share all with everyone with just a book or a course. However, for a basic approach it may be sufficient with a basic introductory course that will get you running. Later, you will eventually have to create your own strategies.
1379  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: December 02, 2022, 10:18:36 PM
So what does this mean? Is a casino that seems to have a very good reputation but is a copy of another reliable or not? Here in the forum I have seen 2 casinos that are identical to others, the only thing that changes is the name, but since I don't know what this business is like, I don't know if those interested in having new casinos buy everything including the environment? or the way you look? Are there providers for this? to set up casinos I think there are certain steps.

For me, the most important thing is that they have enough capital so that they can respond to any event where a whale-type player ends up with a very large profit (in slots, as is usually seen) what would be done there? There may be the best model, the cleanest and purest of designs, but they can be scammers, but a casino can be authentic but with a copy, and I think you wouldn't play there out of fear.

You could eventually spot out a possible scam casino in the first place or first glimpse because these people wont really be investing heavily on a site in terms of design or interface on making it look good.

Most of the cases scam projects would just simply be look simple and almost look like a school project. You would definitely notice a site which there's no effort on being put up when its created.

If they are really planning to scam on the first place then they would really be wasting up money for that.It wouldnt assure that it could hook up lots of players and bag up lots or tons of money
and ran away. Also, the wisest thing to be done is never ever to make up big deposits specially when you do deal with new gambling site.

The truth is when I see a casino that is identical to another I leave and I don't go there anymore, although there is obviously the option that it be new people and that they don't know anything and that it wasn't their fault, that maybe they sold that type of environment in a casino, I prefer to pass and not go more than deposit and lose my money in a silly way, because a new casino must make a difference, be authentic by any measure, even have the best bonuses with the best wager possible, so that you can compare yourself against the big ones, such as stake.com, bitcasino.io, SB, among other casinos that are very reliable and highly reputable.

Well, first of all, the term copycat is many times abused. The fact that a site is doing something similar because it works does not make the copycats - in the end there is no need to re-invent the wheel is there? What also may be happening is that many sites are using the same base code or code creation platform, just as many videogames use the same engine and look a bit the same.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: December 02, 2022, 10:16:23 PM
I don't believe in perfect strategy in gambling, by the end of the day your luck will decide if you win or not. House edge and strategy can be a factor, but overall luck is a big part in playing in casinos

You, like many, don't seem to understand the difference between short term and long term gambling.

In the short term you can have positive results. Go to the casino with $200 and come out with $800, for example. But in the long term the HE is everything, the more times you play, the larger the numerical sample, the closer your actual results will be to the expected mathematical results, and these always consist of a net loss.

This is highly proven.  I have the same experience as this, I was winning (turned my $30 bankroll to $400+) and should have stopped that moment but I keep on playing.  Took me another 8 hours and all my bankroll and winnings were depleted.  It only took me less than 1 hour to get to $400+ bankroll (winnings from consecutive bonus rounds of a certain slot) and full 8 hours to lose them all.  Luck can't save us if we decided on a very long session of gambling.

That just happened to me! I lost in 5.00 mBTC in Craps. The strategy I was using simply stopped working.

I have a feeling that the game script is created with the code to adjust to the players' strategy.  We can also observe this thing happen on Dice.  After using the strategy again and again, it will somehow stop functioning after some time.
I think there is a code and algorithm for every strategy we used in gambling games. If the casinos notice that we are employing a pattern or method to play their games against them, they won't let us keep winning. Since you've been successful with it recently, no method would continue to work for very long. Also, occasionally this may results in account banning. Therefore, if you won a good amount of cash, you should stop playing and comeback on the other day.

Some of the casinos I am sure are really sophisticated in detecting unusually successful players that seem to be just too lucky. However there is also a common sense approach for others. If you think of it, you would expect 99% of your clients to loose systematically, so anyone who happens to have good luck will immediately be highlighted without much need to search.
