5601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 07, 2020, 01:42:40 PM
Man Utd vs Man City tonight in the EFL Cup semi final 1st leg, what do you think guys? It’s the semi final so both teams will go strong.
I would go for Manchester City because they have some good players in good performance recent weeks. Some of them is Gabriel Jesus, who is the one will take over Sergio Aguero and become the main striker of the club in next one or two seasons.

In contrast, Manchester United has many drawbacks need to be fixed and improved, that widely exist from strikers to midfielders and defenders. They have serious systematic problems so I don't see any odds that Man. Utd. can win the match.
5602  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sendable merit give away contest (Full Member and below ranks) on: January 07, 2020, 09:38:11 AM
Mate, you should also update your total available sMerits for this contest in OP for the participants to know what they are applying for now. Asked this because your previous OP edit was on Dec 24, 2019.
Thank you. I added it but I don't think it is necessary because there are little applicants in my contest so far, and I have never run out of my merits. I gave away some, and earned some more so my budget remains almost unchanged.

As the rules, I only send one merit to one winner that help me to maintain my merit budget and I can motivate more users. My gift can not help them to rank up but I wish it gives winners more positive thoughts and keep fighting.
5603  Other / Meta / Re: Does this tread really deserve the attention it has got? on: January 07, 2020, 02:39:01 AM
you had 50 off me before yourself IIRC.
I know and what I shared above is my feelings I had months ago when TMAN suddenly dumped 50 merits on my head. On that day, I could not find any words to express my feelings corectly. What I wrote above is my yesterday feelings when I reminded about it with a neutral mood.

Once again, I want to say much thanks to you, TMAN.
5604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sendable merit give away contest (Full Member and below ranks) on: January 07, 2020, 02:31:26 AM
I am sorry, all were rejected. Good luck till next times.

Sorry I couldn't help out much as I am out of merits, but I sent you whatever I had as I love people being generous towards lower ranks, appreciating their works. Even I had a thread where I gave away my merits and I still see some good posts and feel helpless to merit them, but the forum is full of awesome people like you and many more who take a step forward to do the best thing - sharing it. So it doesn't matter to me any more that only I should send the merits, but the good work should be carried on and this is all we need.
Thanks for your words, 2double0. I know the challenge that low rank users have to face because I used to be a low rank user too. This is one of main reasons why I opened the merit give away contest to help them.

It is a bad day for all applicants today when their applications all rejected but please neither being sad nor give up guys. I have a truth to tell you:

Sometimes you will not only win the contest, but also receive more merits (than the promised-amount in OP) for good posts in your post history (the ones you even don't apply here). Additionally, you can received merits from the others (not only from me).
5605  Other / Meta / Re: Does this tread really deserve the attention it has got? on: January 06, 2020, 02:17:54 PM
The point is no one can rank up to Senior Member, Hero member, or Legendary member by 5, 10 or 20 rounds of 50 merits like that. No one can successfully get it (from only one user or from some others) without being caught. Such cases if occur are seriously and will be treated in one way or the others.

I made 21 topics and sure my post quality and topic quality are much better than that post but I don't feel anything bad or wrong for me by looking at that. If someday, you wake up and see your account received 50 merits from one user who don't know, will it be okay for you? I think you will do feel it is okay and enjoy it, guys.
5606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOMOCHAIN - The Most Efficient Blockchain for Token Economy on: January 06, 2020, 02:09:08 PM
You are right. Tomo is the project where big works are making. With bullrun it can hit even 50 or 100$. So with short time profit we can lost opportunity for big profit in long term
I imagine what will happen if TOMO will hit $50 or $100, lots of people who sold in the current period will do deeply regret with their decisions but it is the future and who knows what will happen in the future.

We live for our current moments so if we feel the price is good to sell or to buy, just do it and be responsible for our decisions and should not regret in the future. Opportunites come and go away so we should try to be as much happy as possible.

Returning back to TOMO, I felt today price is good to accumulate it as taking chance to earn profits from its bounces.
5607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: January 06, 2020, 01:59:38 PM
Now, is it the right period for DASH to intensively test and pass through 0.01BTC resistant point? We have been in the amazing ride of DASH but in the long run, I wish that DASH will pass through 0.01BTC before the halving day of Bitcoin (estimated around last of April or early of May this year).

Evonet has demonstrated its strong effects on DASH price and brought lots of positive thoughts to DASH community.

I'll try my luck with my thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214373
Thank you and Happy New Year !  Grin
Rejected.

I checked the post you applied (on Crypto terminology), that is not new and there is a topic (more terms than yours) on that too. When the forum search function works again, you can try to find it with the keyword: Terminology. I don't remember the author of that topic. (I might give you later).

For exchanges, news, magazines in crypto, yazher already made it, better than yours too.
Yazher's works:
Social Media Lists about Bitcoins and Others
Bitcoin News and Bitcoin Price Chart Sites (Updated)
Crypto Currency News Sites (Updated)

In addition, your applied post released on 2nd of January 2020, that does not meet the requirement in OP.

Lastly, your post history does not satisfy my criteria.

Sorry and improve your works as well as your post hitory. Good luck to you, till next times.
5609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOMOCHAIN - The Most Efficient Blockchain for Token Economy on: January 02, 2020, 04:15:04 PM
What happened today is another lesson for the method: buying at the dips and getting out as fastly as you can. Don't take risks too much, then you will be safe and be able to get profits. Don't be over greedy and want to take profits at times, not percents, then you will have chances to take profits. Enjoy your new year and profits with TOMO waves in early days this year.

Did you see this? TOMO dropped to nearly 5k9 satoshis, then bounced back to nearly 6k3 satoshis. It is a great chance to earn profits.
5610  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [BEWARE] Chrome Browser Extension PHISHING for Ledger Wallet Users!! on: January 02, 2020, 04:12:40 PM
Just read this : "Developpig hardare wallet echnology that provides the hihest leel of secity for crpto asets." - It is so bad like some children were writing it, which is a warning at the very beginning.
This is a very clear signal of a scam. Too bad in terms of English language, it is written with broken-English, not only typos. People who still blindly be scammed and phished by such bad phishing efforts deserve it. Anyway, Great Arkansas brought a good topic on Phishing attacks, this time, with Chrome Browser Extension.

I think, now it is time to remind some quizzes about phishing.

Thank you for these charts (weekly, monthly) and very neutral overview with them.

Such opportunity to buy very cheap DASH only occur each every 3 or 4 years. It is hard to say but what a pity for anyone who still hesitate and fear about the benefits of taking 'risks' with very cheap DASH, in BTC pair, at the moment. If they hesitate this time, they will do turn into deeply regret about their missed opportunities in next one or two years, or sooner, in next few months.
5612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 02, 2020, 03:32:23 AM
What do you mean? CR7's move to Juventus wasn't on a free transfer basis Real Madrid accepted to sell Ronaldo on a fee around 105 million pounds which is really big considering the age of Ronaldo during that move. Also if you do mean that they have used that money for somewhere else then think again. During that season they have also bought the wonderkid Vinícius Júnior, the goalkeeper Courtois, and Odriozola. Real Madrid during that season didn't kept the money they have earned from selling Ronaldo they have actually used it on buying younger players and look at their future in the bigger picture.
All of them are smart with their decisions to make that transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus.

- Real Madrid: They bought Ronaldo years ago, used him intenstively, won lots of titles, and still got back big transfer fees.
- Juventus: They fastly and easily got the transfer fees back by selling the Tshirts with CR7 in the back, and they also got big improvements outside and inside the pitch as well as potentiality to win the Champions League with him.
- CR7: He was smart by leaving Real Madrid and moved to Serie A, that is a perfect league for old players and he also got very good salary and priviledges in Juventus. Very smart!
5613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 01, 2020, 10:18:34 AM
I think Arsenal will play very hard for this match. They will surely aim for victory because they play at home. And also to improve their position in the standings. MI wins is in a good trend because it managed to win consecutive 2 matches. I think the draw is the best for both teams in this match
Sure. Arsenal need to have a big boost, from themselves for the new year. It is especially important for them after their recent lost in the match against Chelsea. In the long run, I don't imagine that Mikel Arteta will bring some type of significant changes to the club. It is the same as what has been going on with Manchester United and Ole Solskajer. They are both young coaches with very limited experience on the pitch. Things are more seriously with Arteta, who just got the first position as a coach (with Arsenal) in his career. Anyway, new year, good luck to them.
5614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: January 01, 2020, 10:13:27 AM
Finally the another terrible year for altcoins ended hours ago, and we have jumped in to the new year, 2020, with lots of hope for altcoins. Of course, I wish all the best for Sia coin project, the team's future developmental and marketting plans, their families, and for all of the Siacoiners.

Despite of some waves of amazing recoveries in 2019, there are only a minority of investors and traders took advantage of it and enriched their portfolios. For the others, who long-term hold the coin, and if they bought it in 2017 or early of 2018, they have still temporarily suffered some level of losses but don't give up, a lot of positive things to come in the new year and next year too.

Best wishes to you.

5618  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Feature idea: give DT1 the ability to remove specific feedbacks from DT on: December 31, 2019, 04:57:14 AM
In August, I raised a question for this issue: If someone pass away, will their Trust feedback still exist permanently ?

From the answers I got in that topic, the forum tends to leave it as decentralized as possible, with the participations of as many DT members as possible, by excluding pass-away DT members from their trust lists. Sometimes, DT members don't want to do this, especially if the DT members who pass-away are highly trusted and loved by the community.
5619  Other / Meta / Re: List of Bitcointalk.org Userscripts/ Add-ons on: December 30, 2019, 01:17:00 PM
We have been in very last hours of 2019 so let's give me your userscripts if they have not yet been listed in my OP.

Next year, I wish that there are more helpful scripts released by coding enthusiasts in the community. To be honest, guys, I took the idea to create this list from Cyrus, in his announcement topic of his script, and I did not expect the topic is attractive as it has been so far. Happy with your recognition and as being said, I am still waiting for your next scripts/ addons.
5620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Roadway from zero to hero (with 21 topics) on: December 30, 2019, 01:13:57 PM
Make that before January 31, 2020.
It is a challenge, definitely. I only think I can make it around the end of February next year.
Quote
You've finally crossed that 400 merit mark. Reaching the 500th will be much faster. Congrats on becoming a Hero by January 31, 2020.
100 more merits is not the easy thing to hit in one shot, sometimes merit does not come after continuous days, but sometimes it comes as merit raindrops. What I can do is doing what belongs to my posting behaviour.
