About bitcoin transaction fees, you can read more here:
Bitcoin Transaction Fees - Everything in one
You have to change option in your wallet with these steps:
Tools > Preferences > Fees > Edit fees manually (you have to tick to this option).
Images below show those steps. After that, you can edit fees when you make your transactions.
I always consolidate my bitcoin at 1 satoshi/ byte. It takes time, but it help me to save precious satoshis.
In addition, applying guides of LoyceV to move your coins when network provides you great chance to move funds around with low fees.
[MAY 2019] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!
I added some images to visually describe how to enable manually editing fees feature and how to manually set fees:
6203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merit to a newbie, Like me on: August 04, 2019, 11:45:08 AM
Why would someone want something when they don't even know what it is?
When people started such thread like this one, I doubt that they do not read forum rules, and some important threads pinned in Meta board or Beginners & Help board. Without reading those important threads, they will do not have probability to get merit.
6204  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting Proof Of Authentication posts on: August 04, 2019, 10:48:49 AM
If managers need a Proof of Authentication post to be able to enter that "bounty pool" then participants will do so. The forum does not have any system to go against this. Incentivizing people to post is a different issue, not related to this.

Off-site authentication using Google Forms would be great - where the entry on the forum would allow that person to enter on a prepared Google spreadsheet. But the problem that the same person has done it and not tried to impersonate someone else still remains.

For example some newbie could declare a Twitter account that belongs to someone else as theirs and although they would get into the campaign the victim's twitter account would remain inactive in terms of the bounty. This was why I guess, this posting a new post for authentication came in.
I am not sure, honestly. Because I also asked this in my thread, that created before this one.
New restriction on airdrops / proof of authentication posts. Is it real?
Then, Global moderator simply left a screenshot. After that, I checked, and found this one.
Incentivizing posting within one or several threads via low effort tasks (e.g. signups or proof of participation for liking, following, subscribing, retweeting, tweeting a single tweet, joining a channel or group, etc.) is not allowed as it falls under the "no altcoin giveaways" rule (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2103687.0):
Nevertheless, I have vague idea that Proof of Authentication posts are simply discouraged, not restricted in the forum. That is why those posts still be here.

Hey dude I'm waiting for your answer.
There is an available answer just four posts above yours. Why do you not read it?
We still have 1x Hero/Legendary Member position open, please note that I only entertain applications where the user is wearing the avatar and Signature.

You were probably inactive two weeks in a row and got removed. You would have to re-submit but as of now we have no open Full Member positions.
6206  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting Proof Of Authentication posts on: August 04, 2019, 09:41:02 AM
That is one of the most annoying kind of posts I saw. PoA for Facebook, Twitter is understandable, at somewhat extents, because it is hard for managers to know which are status/ tweets made from participants for bounties they promote. It takes time to check manually. However, as we pointed out, such things can be done through Form of Reports.
The more rediculous reports is some bounties ask for weekly reports on ten posts made during each week, that is definitely to bump their bounty threads. Nothing more. No needs to do weekly reports, because managers can easily check through post history.
Of course that won't solve any of the spam problems, as they'll just require users to post spam Facebook and Twitter links.

I don't like QR codes, because they are more vulnerable than keys. For example, whenever I activate my 2FA, I always write down my 2FA codes, and don't save QR codes. Maybe, I mainly want to give attackers, if they find me, and my wallet/2FA backups; they have to play around and maybe lost directions before being able to hack my money. QR codes might give them more convenience to do their works.
Well said mate, but here is my addition that might not lead to hacking if the device infected by malware copy/paste.
If there is QR code for that address you can simply scan for sending the address, no need copypasting of wallet address just tap the QR code.
credit on google image

Well explanation. I did not know about that, and from your explanation, I will search to find out more about it. Crypto always have loads of things to learn, everyday.
Why not check all characters/ digits of address? I think it is safer than only check first and last ones? Or are there some technical reasons for this?
Checking all characters/digits of address requires less than a minute, so I think people should check them all after adopting and pasting.

It is impossible for a hacker to generate a private key which only  changes a few digits of your public address.

Even vanity generators are able only to match a few characters together.

So you only need to check some characters, not all of them.

Even if it takes only a minute, it is not necessary imo.

Just Ctrl c ctrl v the address, never try to type it.

And check he first and last digits, as there are some malware that can access your clipboard

ideaupdater, once again, dissappeared nearly one month since his last post here. I think that this time, we all should stop expecting about serious updates to keep MTNC project alive from developers. Community take-over, if possible, is better.
6212  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting Proof Of Authentication posts on: August 03, 2019, 10:55:07 PM
One of forum staff, sapta, has requirement to make AUTHENTICATION posts in bounty threads for his participants, that leads me to the conclusion that everything will be fine with participants whom do this only one time (each week, each month, whatever depends on requirements of bounty managers).
This will be unacceptable if participants whom make Proof-of-Authentication posts more than once (per week, per month, that exceeds requirements of bounty managers.
- In this thread, you only allowed to post AUTHENTICATION posts.
As you can see, sapta actually requires reports through form, not through posts in the forum. This is different than other bounty managers.
Quote
report must be submitted through a Google Form
Such things can be made and collected through Form of applications, or form of reports.
In my opinion, it shouldn't be allowed at all!

"Proof of authentication" is some sort of legalized bump spam
6213  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting Proof Of Authentication posts on: August 03, 2019, 03:24:21 PM
I asked about it here: New restriction on airdrops / proof of authentication posts. Is it real?
Then global moderator answered, but did not directly point exact point, but this one is what I guess global moderator meant
I still don't know why proof of authentication posts still burried the forum.
6214  Other / Beginners & Help / Discord & scammers. Check user IDs and user colors of strangers send you PMs on: August 03, 2019, 02:54:04 PM
Discord is one of the most used channels of crypto projects, besides the forum, Twitter, and Telegram. Scammers, definitely, do not ignore those channels to spread their fake messages, contacts to scam people around.
To be safe in Discord channels of crypto projects, you should remember to carefully check those things:
- User's unique user ID (multi-digit ID number)
- User's color

User's unique user ID
Each user in Discord has only one fixed ID, and it can not be changed.
Scammers can changed their usernames to as same as which developer that scammer want to be. It is very easy.
They only have to do three simple steps to get fake username:

1. Click on User setting

2. Click on Edit button

3. Type to change username

You should notice to differentiate between user IDs and unique user IDs (or also called as multi-digit ID number)

With this user in Crypto Bridge Discord group, user ID in that group is

What I should do to get this user's unique user ID?
Let's follow these steps:
User Settings > Apperance > Developer Mode (turn it to ON)
=300
How to Enable Developer mode on Mobile app?

Obtaining User's ID on Mobile app

Now, let's apply this Developer Mode to check unique user ID of Scott Wehman#6261.
Right click on the username of Scott Wehman > Click on Copy ID

Paste ID copied to see what it is

Yeah, as you can see: Scott Wehman has user ID in Crypto Bridge Discord group is #6261, but has an unique user ID is #409926710658596865.

Read more here: https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/206346498-Where-can-I-find-my-User-Server-Message-ID-

User's color
Scammers can change their usernames, but they can not change their colors, which show roles of users in Discord channels. For each project, developers will asign different colors for different types of users: from admins, moderators, community managers, bots, and normal users.
Users that have important roles, such as admins, moderators, community managers, for example, usually have special colors, that are easily to recognize.

Scammers are normal users, so they mostly will be displayed with white color. Sometimes, project teams might assign different colors to different ranks of users in their Discord channels. So, in such cases (that are rarely seen), you should notice on users that have different colors than admins, moderators, community managers.
In the above image, developers also noted about IDs and colors of their teams.

When you get issues, then try asking for help/support; plesase remember:
- Be careful with anyone who makes contacts with intention to help. They are mostly scammers.
- Always check their users' unique IDs (multi-digit ID numbers)
- Always check their users' colors
- Compare their unique user IDs, colors with admins, moderators, etc whom have same usernames.
- You will mostly find important announcements from developers on their user IDs, and hyerarchy of colors in pinned messages.
- If you detetct Discord scammers, and actually receive their PMs, and don't delete their PMs, you will see that weeks or months later, their username will be displayed as "Deleted user" - when they change their usernames again!
- Developers can be scammers too. They can create new accounts, that play as normal users, to scam people in their communities. This can occur with scam projects, because the main purposes of developers is to scam investors, so it is not strange if they create new accounts to act as scammers in their communities, while their main accounts (play as developers) still look like innocent.

Scam with fake link to steal your Discord Token ID
One more type of scam in Discord is invite people to a scam Discord channel, set up a bot for account verification but with a phishing link. It is to steal your Discord Token ID that can help hackesr to bypass Email, 2FA, Password.

I got this information from [SCAM] Hiring Discord Moderator from @Saruc

Some simple steps to scam you and log in your account
1. Invite you to a scam Discord channel

2. Require you to verify with a fake bot (app). Example: MEE6 Fake (.app) domain

3. It requested "Token" to bypass your account without 2FA protection

6215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Project Opportunities "Too good to be true" on: August 03, 2019, 06:39:39 AM
I also get invites sometimes as a translator and they said they'll pay me with their tokens. They need people that believe about the future of the project and that's why they'll pay with tokens. What a nice excuse to not pay and use real money to compensate what people have done for them.

Hopefully, those guys can learn from this. Must have wasted their time.
Campaigns that pay through bitcoin are more reliable than bounties pay through altcoins or tokens. Because founders of those projects don't lose anything to run their bounties. All tokens, altcoins they use to pay for their bounties' participants come from premined. That is totally free. It is not true to say that campaigns pay through bitcoin are all good, not scam; but at least their teams have to pay something, have to accept to lose something. Furthermore, campaigns pay via bitcoin mostly managed by high trusted managers, that is another good point that we can see something are potential from those projects.
6216  Other / Meta / Re: Are self-moderated threads censorship? on: August 03, 2019, 06:27:06 AM
I think self-moderated threads are, almost by definition, censorship.  But then again, when a moderator deletes your post, that's also a form of censorship--but I would not argue that either one is wrong.  I think the forum needs more of this kind of censorship, because usually what's being deleted are either posts that break the rules or ones that are of little value and just distract from the better posts.
When someone shows their shitposts around, there is no reason to keep their shitshows upfront, forever. For those cases, censorship is essential thing to do.
Another point is, most of self-moderated threads (from good OPs, not scammers, I meant) clearly emphasize that those threads are self-moderated, with some local rules. Posters who violate those local rules will see their shitposts deleted. I think it is transparently, and fair enough.
You also mentioned about local rules
The only reason I'd asked cryptohunter and his gang not to post in my thread was because I didn't want any trolling posts there, and I'd heard everything I needed to hear from them.  The thread would have devolved into a flame war.
6217  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: August 03, 2019, 06:23:12 AM
It will definitely create a problem for that user as thier system, would consider the second account an alt of the first one and eventually it’ll be banned. In the meantime if that user was to deposit funds and win, then too he would not get paid by FJ for breaking their policies. I’m not sure if one can ask the support staff to delete his old account and allow him to use their new account on FJ, you can inquire this with their support staff.
It will result in lots of drama that site's owners don't want to see for sure. It is same things as we have in the forum. Someone can quit, stop using their accounts in the forum, delete all of their past posts, except threads; or moderators can nuke those accounts, but accounts are unable to delete in the forum. There are some limited accounts were changed usernames, but nowadays, such things hardly to accept by admins. All of them for site's security and preventive methods to out of drama.
6218  Other / Meta / Re: Forum, sex, crypto. Are there chances to see growth of sex industry adds? on: August 03, 2019, 06:10:27 AM
I see some adult-related projects on bitcointalk before and even have a signature campaign I guess as long as no NSFW content seen on signatures I guess that way is okay. Adult content projects has high chance of booming on this industry because anonymity is what crypro at its best. I doubt theymos would even allow such ads, the forum rules negates that.
They have an opportunity to market here but I'm just curious why I haven't seen them running a signature campaign here.
This thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5125345.0 was from Hhampuz but this does not push through for whatever reason.
Personally, I have no problem win promoting an adult site as long as it does not violate any rules of the forum.
Some campaigns run in the past, not too many, includes this one: Eroiy.io
Personally, I don't have issues with them, but as someone noted, what if those porn sites contain threats, that will compromise and steal your bitcoin, or altcoins? I don't think the forum can and should manage those hidden threats from third-party porn-sites. It takes time and not the things forum should spend money and resources to deal with.

There are some good points from @Baronets and @Hhampuz, and others.
I hope that Bitcoin Talk will continue to be suitable for viewing over public WiFi in restaurants.
....
lets keep Bitcoin Talk clean as Bitcoin esdtablishes itself even further in the future.
some people, for religious or other reasons, won't want to take part in the Campaign or perhaps not even display the Signatures and I can respect that. Just as with Gambling there will always be people that could feel that it is wrong but at this forum I think people are more understanding than in other ones.
The forum does not stop to promote adult content, the only requirement was the title must have "NSFW" marked and the following rules.
I have no problems with it, but you may want to consider following theymos' rule from Advertise on this forum - Round 272:
Ads may not link directly to any NSFW page
It's nice to get a NSFW-warning after accidentally clicking a link.
With both gambling and porn, there is an argument that both are harmful and unethical in various ways. I don't subscribe to the logic in making these arguments, however I do not find these arguments to be outright frivolous.

In addition to the suggestions of many above to make sure the signatures are not explicit, and to consider not linking directly to explicit material, I would suggest doing due diligence on the site itself. I would want to have confidence the site is not going to be spreading malware when visitors visit the site, nor when visitors try to download content, and does not have an excess amount of advertisements.

I do find it somewhat strange that a porn site would want to advertise here. I would not find bitcointalk the most effective venue to advertise on for this kind of business.
I have no problem with pornsites and those sites' advertisements in the forum.
I have only several worry about them:
- Pornsites are one of the most dangerous in aspect of potential threats for visitors, virures, malwares, trojans, and other threats to visitors.
So, if you make sure that sites you aggreed to advertise for them are good pornsites, it is totally welcome. By saying 'good', I meant they are safe, without threats.
- And, if sites have options to pay with crypto, it is amazing for porn-lovers. They can easily to pay for their favorite videos with crypto.
It is one of good way to spread crypto around and help it invading more into real life.
So people's will aware before click the link that they are going to visit porno/18+ website  from signature.
6219  Other / Meta / Re: AutoReply v1.0 on: August 03, 2019, 03:10:48 AM
As you knew, I am not a fan of userscript, because I don't run any kind of business here, and simply would prefer to use given options/ features from forum. However, I have one suggestion for OP, that is: the userscript should allow users to set up their prefered timegaps between pumps, rather than a default (or only by now) with 24 hours per one bump (with delete of past bump, because it help users don't violate forum rules.).
This new option will help users to choose bumping their thread each three days or each 7 days.
