5781  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fees - Everything in one on: November 04, 2019, 09:42:11 AM
Of course if you click on the actual website the above image is continuosly updated. For example now the higher fees is around 30 sats/b.
I provided a static image because it was a simple reference here on the post.
I check the site again and see it. Thank you, again, for the very quick and detailed reply.
I also updated OP with that site and a short explanation.
5782  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fees - Everything in one on: November 04, 2019, 09:08:02 AM
A very nice website for checking bitcoin fees:
whatthefee.io
It is a very cool site to check estimate fees and correspondent waiting time to get confirmation. Thanks for bringing it here.
I have a question, if you know it, please help:
That site only has an image that you posted above. I don't know that details are dynamically updated or it is a fixed one.

As of writing time, the transaction fee stays at 19 satoshis/ byte (according to https://coinb.in/#fees), but remember you can set your fee at 1 satoshi/ byte but you have to wait a bit longer for confirmations.
But people have to aware of potential issues if their transactions don't get confirmations, and they need to boost their transactions faster. The option Replace-By-Fee in your wallet should be chosen. Details in the above post.
5783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥100% PoS + Masternodes💥Txbit.io exchange is live now ! on: November 04, 2019, 07:02:58 AM
I love the new wallet and soon I'll start cold staking as I haven't had time to set it up just yet. I'm really looking forward to 2020 with this project as it will be interesting to see what new developments will come in 2020 along with txbit exchange growing and us as a community will be able to link our Solaris with txbit to earn from the profits will be exciting as txbit continues to grow.
When a months-lasting swap finish the project will officially jump into its new era, in which the growth of txbit.io exchange will play a very important role in the growth of the Solaris project and the price of XLR on market too.

Nowadays, there are so many crypto exchanges, from centralized to decentralized so if one exchange wants to take advantage and get attention of crypto traders, the platform has lots of promotional things to do. From passive income by lending coins, staking coins directly on exchange, and low fees for both makers and takers with different tiers, and more things. I hope that the Solaris and txbit.io team will run more effective promotions next year.
5784  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin Discussion section needs some adjustment on: November 03, 2019, 09:44:37 AM
It is easy. Doing one of two or both:
1. Disable signatures in spam mega threads. Altcoin discussions are same as most of other discussion boards, burried by spam.
2. Don't count posts made in spam Mega threads to activities and post counts.

Two suggestions need admin's hands but I don't think admin will do it. It takes time because of natural evolution of spammers who will surely move to other boards to spam and create their new spam mega threads.
The net effects from merit system and bump score are good enough.

Having new type of official resources to fight spam will require another funds to pay for new forum staff category, spam busters. There are already voluntary spam busters who are actively report in iasenko's spam buster club.

The fight need help from users who will give their hands by reports but then why we have to visit spam mega threads, which we rarely or never visit, to clean spam posts. It is a very big question.

Self-moderation is an option, and not a mandatory thing that thread creators have to obey. Self-moderation has its local rules from creators plus current forum rules that have not one rule to ban OPs if their threads turn to spam mega threads.

Wall Observer has its interesting history because of the thread ownerships changed by theymos after community vote as I know.
5785  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Leaked information. Are we really safe at all? on: November 03, 2019, 06:55:58 AM
Only email leaks don't put Bitmex users under losses. Because of people who have access to Bitmex's user email leak don't have access to those emails. What they can do is sending phising things to those email addresses if they want.

Hence, if users are aware of the news, and be careful when using their emails: don't click on links send by strange emails or from familiar emails but if contents or links are strange; they will be safe.

Furthermore, they can change their email passwords, and it is time for them to remind that they use that email for how many accounts on exchanges and other services, and whether they use same passwords over exchanges & services. If they use same passwords, it's time to change as soon as possible.

The news is bad for Bitmex's reputation but not too bad for their users, IMO.

People can check their email status there: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Regarding to email security, you can use the following site: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
It is very simple to use: Typing your email address, then enter to see it has already been compromised or not. In case your email has been already compromised, it's your turn to reset your password and consider to enhance security and privacy for your email.
There are two types of results:
1. Bad: pwned!
Quote
Oh no — pwned!
Pwned on X breached sites and found no pastes (subscribe to search sensitive breaches)

2. Good: no pwnage found!
Quote
Good news — no pwnage found!
No breached accounts and no pastes (subscribe to search sensitive breaches)
You should take action as quickly as possible if your email checking result fall into the first type.
5786  Other / Meta / Re: "Merit summary" page improvement proposal on: November 01, 2019, 02:52:05 PM
1) The total amount of merit sent/received in the last 120 days should be displayed on the same raw after "Sent in the last 120 days"/"Received in the last 120 days" in parentheses;
TryNinja made it. That one can be solved by the userscript.  Wink

That is what I ask for. OP updated and it is so nice to announce the userscript (for managers, and applicants of campaigns). Thank you so much for your fastly built userscript.

If you can, please code and make an userscript that displays total figures for:
  • Sent in the last 120 days
  • Received in the last 120 days
Currently, on the merit stat page of each user, there are no total figures for those statistics and I think managers and applicants of campaigns will like that userscript.  Cheesy
5789  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] blender.io Signature Campaign | Sr./Hero&Legendary Members | on: November 01, 2019, 02:25:31 PM
The signature code for Senior Member rank was updated to the new one (on 30th October 2019, I guess). I saw it today and updated mine too. This post is to announce other participants to update their signature (at Senior Member rank, not sure about Hero/ Legendary member rank).

I guess Hhampuz forgot to announce the updated signature code.

Bitcointalk Ann Thread

We will be updating the original post in the thread that matches our website.
I congratulate you all for the great move of the Solaris project, and it is very good for the community to have a long-lasting swap which will end in April next year.

If you ask me what I want to see with Ann thread updates, I would say that the team should do regular updates for both the Solaris' ANN thread and the txbit.io's ANN thread. The exchange should be grown more in liquidity and regular updates for its ANN thread is necessary.

Do the Solaris team have plans to list XLR on other big exchanges, like Binance or Huobi?
5791  Other / Meta / Re: You have received a total of 716 merits. on: October 31, 2019, 11:36:08 PM
It has been raised and discussed so many times. As my best knowledge, most of discussions end with like/support for ideas to display merit as following methods:
- Received merits/ Total merits: 100/ 1100
- Total merits/ Received merits: 1000/ 100
With bold or colors for received merits.
5792  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Blender.io - Advanced privacy for Bitcoin transactions (mixer) on: October 31, 2019, 04:35:02 PM
For new user of the service, I think the following point in FAQ is worthy to note:
How much time the deposit address stays actual?
A generated deposit address is valid only for 24 hours. All related data will be erased and all payments to the address will be ignored afterwards.
Sometimes, people who use mixer service for the first time will not notice it nor not read FAQs or ToS, and they save their deposit addresses to use repeatedly.
The Blender.io service only accepts one generated deposit address within 24 hours at maximum. Beyond 24 hours, users have to generate new deposit addresses.
5793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: October 31, 2019, 12:43:29 PM
Everybody is excited and keeps repeating this news from China but I see a slightly different picture.

Indeed Chinese President Xi Jinping made a speech about wanting to invest more into blockchain and everybody has to focus on the word BLOCKCHAIN.

They want to invest in BLOCKCHAIN not DASH or BTC and the main idea is to build their own cryptocurrency.

I don't think this will change anything especially regarding private coins like Dash.
There is undeniable fact that the news from Chinese President Xi pumped the market first. Later on, Chinese cryptocurrencies rocketed. Recent pumps remind us about lessons of news' impacts on market movements, both pumps and dumps. Depends on types of news and when news releases.

There are lots of people who know that China over years has not had too many impacts on cryptocurrency, which is somehow presented through their percentage on global bitcoin full nodes (and there are more other things). Anyway, if one got profits from recent pumps from the East (partially from China), yes, it is very good for them, after recent months of dumps and consolidation.
5794  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Blender.io - Advanced privacy for Bitcoin transactions (mixer) on: October 30, 2019, 02:06:50 AM
I wish all the best things for the Blender.io service, and with the latest launched campaign managed by @Hhampuz, I believe that the service will catch more attention in the short term. For long term potential growth, it depends on many things, including how long that campaign will last, and how good the service and its customer service are.

Anyway, let's see the new era and potential growth with newly promotional effort.

It seems the signature for Senior Member rank has not yet been updated to correct one. Some applicants likely self-edited signature but their signature looks correctly, I guess so.

I will update my signature code with coming official one (when correct one updated in OP).

It is my self-edited signature code, I make it for fun (just some minor adjustments on color, bold, [ ]). It displays likely the same as the image in OP.

After months of actively tradeable and being listed on Coinmarketcap.com, daily total volume of txbit.io exchange has still been very low. I wish that the team somehow have more plans to increase the total liquidity on txbit.io.

I hope that amazing things with liquidity will be shown after the swap finished. Let's fill the exchange with 'fuel' and help it rocks.
5797  Other / Meta / Re: Some good users awakened by Yobit on: October 22, 2019, 08:44:12 PM
I wonder that how many eligible participants of Cryptotalk's campaign made 20 posts on daily over continuous days (or nearly 20 posts) without being banned or kicked out by yahoo62278?

From what OP raised, I guess there are not many of them were eligible with 20 posts during days in-a-row, before the new daily limitation came (at 10).
If there are figures to prove this theory, I think it will be good that good posters who joined Cryptotalk actually maintained their good posts with their self-limitations on max posts they usually made daily. It is understandable if their total daily posts after joining Cryptotalk increased a little bit, but it is fine if it does not rocket.

Where do I get FAQs and ToS? I visited the site and did not find page for FAQ. I could be wrong because I use phone for now, that can make some features hardly to see.
By the way, is the Match365 site requires KYCs or has some restricted locations at which people are not allowed to egligibly use the platform? There are some casinos that restricted some areas and reject users from restricted areas. Users who try to use VPSm when found, will be disabled, something like that.
5799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 02:35:28 PM
New game, same question who will play with CR7 tonight in Juventus?

Dybala or Higuain? I think Dybala will play, there is any site where you can bet the formation?
Dybala, in my opinion, is more suitable to play with CR7. He can support CR7 with his play-making passes, and give CR7 more opportunities to score. However, Sarri tends to prefer Higuain, as we saw in recent matches of Juventus. It is not what I want to see because if things won't change next two months, Dybala might consider to leave Juventus and move to other top clubs in Europe. There are many options for Dybala, who is followed by bunches of clubs.
5800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Double Check Bitcointalk Username Before Download or Invest to Avoid Virus/Scam on: October 22, 2019, 12:17:25 PM
OP made a great guide, but I want to emphasize that not only checking bitcointalk usernames, but also checking validity and past reliability of accounts on any platform before consider downloading sources they give.
If someone does not have ability to check such things, s/he should avoid downloading sources or clicking on given sites from strangers.
I read months ago that scammers use Github accounts (old accounts) to make their scam easier.

To be safe, people have to carefully check usernames, given links (by hovering on given links to get real links hidden behind hyperlinks under texts) or check full links if they are shortened ones. Highly important to be careful with intention to download given resources from others, especially from unknown ones.
