Hmm okay, how much would you rate my posts on scale of 10? Also any tips on how can I improve?
Why you should not check your post history, only first page? How many posts in first page are one-line posts? How about their post quality in your self-assessment? Then, checking post history of winners in my contest. I think you will find out answer yourself. There is a truth that post length is not a guarentee for post quality, but if someone mainly makes one-line posts, it is a good indicator for not good post quality.

After running his campaign to fork bitcoin and get shit Bitcoin Cash, I think now is a very good time for him to run another campaign to ask for community support and fork Bitcointalk.org forum. Unfortunately, I don't think there are significant users here support his coming forked forum, from our beloved forum.

I use mobile so I can not edit the quote, but there are what you asked for, inside the quote. One more post for the thread, on the access of theymos to bitcointalk.org and bitcointalk.org DNS.Please add. Of course not, do you really need to ask?
- I was made a forum admin in 2011, after Satoshi left. (Silk Road also appeared after Satoshi left.) I didn't have any special access to bitcoin.org until around 2013, and in fact I didn't even have any access to the bitcointalk.org DNS until 2013. - I've never bought or sold anything on Silk Road, Hydra or similar sites; nor did I have anything whatsoever to do with their operation; nor AFAIK did I even have interactions with anyone involved in running these sites. While I am opposed to drug laws, I have never used illicit drugs, and in fact I also abstain from alcohol & nicotine. Furthermore, since the beginning I have warned over and over again that Tor is not secure against active government attacks: I wouldn't be found dead running one of these sites. - I never had any interaction with CSW. I don't have any keys related to CSW's (probably fictitious) SSS thing.
CSW's whole shtick is to just lie constantly. He's so brazen about it that some people think, "there must be some truth there," but really it's 100% nonsense.
I admit I was a little tempted to troll the world by roleplaying CSW's allegations as totally true...
theymos is one of three admins, in 2011The active administrators are currently: theymos (me) Gavin Andresen sirius
Sirius runs the server.

Originally, forum created for Bitcoin discussion, and mainly focused on technical aspects. From what admin have managed forum, I believe he has maintained core vision of Satoshi.

Permanent bans mainly caused by: Plagiarism: just one time when plagiarism found, permanent banned. Repeatedly temporary banned: three chances of temporary bans before permanent bans with fourth one. We encountered a problem, it got the error "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" when calling through javascript. If we use it, we will have to call through the proxy server.
I am not a tech-savvy, so I can not help you. Sorry.

That's even better because it might be used by campaign managers too. There should be User ID and counting start date because different campaigns starts new week on different day.
What you suggested is not enough, in my opinion. Let's recap what managers have to do with their weekly post check: - Total eligible posts - Posts in acceptable/ inclusive boards
- Posts in mandatory boards (gambling boards/ local boards, ie.)
- Posts in exclusive boards
- Post quality What you suggested is only helpful for checking eligible posts, but it has not do anything with post quality. So, if there is a script for that, it should have a dropdown menu, from which managers can choose total posts made by one participant in which boards they want to see and check, within a special timeframe, that what mangers can choose too. I remembered these things raised by Hhampuz months ago.
Found it I have few things that I'd like to see implemented:
-When browsing through someones posts I'd like a button at the top/bottom which takes me back to the users profile without having to backspace.
-When browsing through someones posts I'd like it if there was a sorting feature so that I could select a specific board and see all the posts the user has made on that board.
-When browsing through someones posts I'd like it if I could get more than 20 posts per page, perhaps in increments of 10 up towards 50 or 100 (either works for me).
-When browsing through someones posts it would be nice if there were two different shades of grey to make it a bit easier on the eye if you count/read a lot of them for example. Just so that every other post is slightly darker than the previous one.

That will be interesting to see, you might want to look at getting the exchange rate from somewhere like preev if they have an api (as they use an average for their pricing). I think mrvuit can get it from Bitmex.
|
|
|
You are wrong, mrvuit. They actually care about your extension, and they shown their appreciation and recognition though merits they sent to OP. Anyway, there is the fact that not all of them have intention to use extensions, includes yours. Me too. It is not because I am not a techsavvy, but basically people all care about security. You began to publish your extension just about one week ago, let be patient. Overtime, more people will know about your thread. Whatever they use your extension or not, you made great works.
Ideas for you, from community need. Add real-time Bitcoin price in the forum.

This is my first time I told about my adventure, previously I simply worked in silence. I much appreciated all of kinds words from all of you, guys. You gave me more strength to fight and win with my current challenge, that actually a big one, but not too far from now. Less than 200 more merits, less than what I earned by now, so I will made it. Especially, I much appreciated @LoyceV, and @TMAN, whom gave me big rewards, and sure those merits from TMAN and others serve as strong evidence of recognition and appreciation from community on my works. I agreed with @iasenko that merit system has been repeatedly demonstrated its positive effects in forum, by good users whom never stop ranking up along with the system. I am going to use my sendable merits wisely (for my contest, and for whichever good posts I see). Once again, thank you all.

That is my story: Roadway from zero to heroYeah, with help from merit system, and supports from community, I am here, as a Senior member. My plan? I would prefer to finish my current challenge to hero member and celebrate it before Bitcoin halving.

Read these: New restriction on airdrops / proof of authentication posts. Is it real?Reporting Proof Of Authentication postsMost of them used to bump bounty threads. Bounty thread will be hurried in seconds by other bounty threads because bounty hunters spam their PoAs fastly & continuously. Only very good managers don't ask participants do this. Users should not post PoA posts if bounties managers don't ask for. In case managers don't require, users who make such annoying posts might be banned. Anyone posting info from their bounty application (usernames, addresses, etc.) or anything alongside the lines of "joined X", "looking forward to getting X", "thanks for the opportunity", "filled out form", "signed up for X", "applied", "following / liked / retweeted X" when such data is not required by the bounty / airdrop / giveaway / whatever (e.g. the bounty takes entries on a different website) or the requirement is against the forum's rules (e.g. when a giveaway requires users to post entries for low effort tasks) risk having their account banned. These are extremely low quality posts that generate massive amounts of spam, drowning out any legitimate discussion these threads may posses.
I'm not a fan of the proof of authentication posts, and believe there's other ways to automatically do this. Especially, with systems like Discord, and Telegram where they can setup automatic bots to determine whether a proof of authentication is formatted correctly, and acceptable. These could go in a dedicated channel which wouldn't be spammed to the public.
Although, I'm not a fan of allowing this sort of content on the forum it is allowed, unless they're offering an incentive to post them.

You likely missed out that thread, too. List of useful Threads!I have not yet checked and compared two thread (yours, and that thread), but you can suggest OP of that thread to add missed threads to his list.

What I learned:
Beginning: Creating account > Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing Writing ..... Then some day I realized that I have to read more, to reduce my stupid posts. Reading > Writing Reading > Writing Reading > Writing Reading > Writing ...... Then, do more search beside reading previous posts in threads I join discussions Reading > Searching > Reading > Searching (if needed) > Reading > Writing ...... Now: Reading > Searching > Reading > Searching (if needed) > Reading > Writing

Hey everyone, please give me your applications. I missed you all so much, without a single application last two days. Please remember to read rules carefully before applying.
