Can you give me name of the book from which you snapshotted that page, please. I will buy and read it, that is likely a interesting book on digital cash.

Here is another interesting observation:

The moment Mayer Multiple reached just above 2.4, it started to go down.

Amazing.

So, $14k was in a mini bubble territory and the bears didn't miss that one. Sniped it right away. $7.5k looks like a good buy.

edit: Also see the previous 2.4 rejections in 2017. Happened twice before the big boom. That's even more interesting.
Do you mean that we will have to wait at least 4 more months to see next pump of bitcoin?
Whatever methods/ indicators you used, I agreed with you that bitcoin might fall to the range around $7700.
Bitcoin might fall around 26 percent to 30 percent, from the range $11,000, where bitcoin broke out. It means in my forecast, bitcoin will fall to the range between $7700 and $8000. It is deep enough to kill Long gangs, and it is also relevant to news on Tether USD. News is used to pump and dump coins, so, why not believe in my forecast?

6264  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I don't believe Quantum Computing will ever threaten Bitcoin on: July 30, 2019, 12:18:42 PM
All mechanics made by human, bitcoin made by human, Quantum computers made by human. Human can made, so human can destroy it, adjust it, improve it to make its stronger. If someday, Quantum computers become really dangerous to bitcoin, then bitcoin core developers will do find ways to improve bitcoin source codes, and strengthen protective mechanism of bitcoin network to potential attacks from Quantum computers.
Governments, I don't think we should over worry about governements. The history of bitcoin and crypto currencies show that bitcoin made by a man/ woman, foundation/ company, whatever, but it was definitely not made by government(s). My implication is governments are always falling farther behind bitcoin core developers, and crypto developers. They just want to use their power, legal power to control crypto currency world, but they will not completely reach their purposes. Addtiionally, governments are greedy to learn blockchain technology from @Satoshi Nakamoto, bitcoin core developers, and other crypto developers.
6265  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 Free faucet🚰 7-day streak bonus 🔥 on: July 30, 2019, 11:07:08 AM
Yap I know about the 7 day streak bonus as well as the faucet but I don't think it is enough if you are planning for long term purpose, it is OK for your launching promotion only or for new users only.
Promotions have two kinds of effects for companies:
  • Short-term effects: with generous give-aways, airdrops, faucets to attract new users / potential abusers, too. Those events will help to build up popularity of young sites.
  • Long-term effects: with stable-(in payment rates), long-lasting campaigns (like signature campaigns) and good managements (from good managers) to hire good participants, and their good works to spread words of sites out.
6266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: July 30, 2019, 10:55:01 AM
They added XRP too, i did not knew that, $30 is not a small amount to be gifted as bonus, let me check mine whether i got any  Wink.
People have to do KYCs on Coinbase or blockchain.com if they want to claim they airdrops at $25. $30 is 20 percent higher than airdrops from Coinbase and blockchain.com, without KYCs. That's cool and a significant amount of money. I don't use Stake.com, but if they only send their airdrops with requirements to claim it through registered emails. That is much easier than Coinbase and blockchain.com
Did you receive a bonus through mail from the Stake team, i have checked my mail ID but i could not find any bonus in mine, only for selected members or whether i will be getting that in due time. I know they are providing all these give away all the time but i have one doubt, any plans on adding the jackpot to stake too, it would be a great addition for the site.
6267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 30, 2019, 10:49:54 AM
Litecoin appears to be still in the bear market. Can we expect a breakout soon?
Read more in this TA:

https://coincodex.com/article/4159/litecoin-price-analysis-when-will-the-bear-market-end-for-ltc/
Litecoin actually went its far ride (its bottom around 0.005 BTC). At Litecoin today price, investors who bought it at bottom range nearly doubled their price. Litecoin will unable to break out (if it should be called as breakout) if bitcoin won't fall down more significantly. Personally, I don't see reason why Litecoin should break out from its today price. I could be wrong and overpessimistic about Litecoin future, but who knows?
6268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 30, 2019, 10:44:57 AM
Still short term bearish. Id say fight me  Wink but I dont really feel like posting much unless im short and long term bullish.

I will say 4900 is pretty extreme, its more like a floor I dont see us going under. 7-8k would be a more reasonable outcome imo, but this is Bitcoin and shit happens.  I think people shouldnt cry if 4900 is reached bc its still very bullish as a higher low than 3100 of Dec. 15.

China lost its impacts on bitcoin and crypto market for a long time ago. This time is not an exception, and I don't think this news have any kind of effects on bitcoin price.
6269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser: Now users can earn Basic Attention Token (BAT) for viewing ads on: July 30, 2019, 10:39:28 AM
I thought this feature was available for a long time if you are from the US, not people from every country could take care of this rewards and i can understand because it is the beginning phase and hopefully they will make sure that the entire globe will make use of their advertisement platform and with the team leading that project i am sure they will have a market penetration in the coming years.
Months ago, if I am correctly, around beginning of this year. Jet Cash is the one help me to know it by putting link to his site, in which I can see brief introduction to Brave browser and link to download. Yes, Jet Cash brough Brave browswer to me, for a long time ago. Brave browswer allows TOR, and amazingly using TOR on Brave browser is more smootly than in Tor Browser.

I have this one for you (if you don't know it).
Bitcoin transaction fees - Everything in one

In short:
Earlier today, fee is 1 Satoshi/ byte, but now it temporarily rose to 3 satoshis/ bytes.
 Fees for transaction with 1 input (148 bytes), 3 outputs (102 bytes) costs only 780 satoshis, which is double than yesterday fee.
It is not a best time to consolidate your bitcoin leftovers, everything you need is time, to see fees fall to 1 Satoshi/ byte, again.

6271  Other / Meta / Re: The problem begins and ends with YOU. on: July 30, 2019, 05:51:06 AM
Are you saying that bounty managers and signature campaign managers are the same thing?  Maybe the kinds of managers overlap in the sense that some managers will take part in managing more than one kind of forum activity, but I thought that bounty managers and signature campaign mangers were the managers of different kinds of activities that were going on in the forum?

I have never engaged in any kinds of bounty hunting, and that seems like a bit of a crazy and money chasing activity to me, so I was considering the activities of signature campaigns to be different from the activities of bounty hunting, for some reason.
They are different, I think.

First, they are different in the environment in which they run.
  • Signature campaigns: totally run in the forum.
  • Bounty campaigns: partially run in the forum (signature), but others run beyond the forum (on Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Medium, and so forth).

Second, fund allocation to run campaigns
  • Signature campaigns: companies mostly have to allocate funds to do it. Just most of them, because scam projects can run signature campaigns with their shit coins from premined, instamined coins.
  • Bounties: companies use their free money (tokens) to do it

Lastly, payment days
  • Signature campaigns: most of them have nearly exact pay days. Each week, or each month.
  • Bounties: Most of them delay their pay days or reject to pay at the ends. That depends on results of their crowdsales
6272  Other / Meta / Re: The problem begins and ends with YOU. on: July 30, 2019, 02:01:22 AM
Users in the forum, and participants in campaigns have to do their works well in order to help to build up good reputation for the forum, for companies that hire them with their signatures.
If the forum damaged by tons of shitposts due to signature, theymos will destroy all signatures.
If companies don't get benefits from their participants because shitposts don't catch attention of readers, and don't have effects for companies (adverse effects, in some cases); companies will stop running their campaigns after short time.
Some of those signature campaign managers do end up having to filter through a lot of bullshit, but it is likely NOT good to get too personally offended by it.  You are correct that the incentives to join are not going to be too much, but if the signature campaign is paying in bitcoin, and the participant is just continuing to hold his payout, the amount of dollar value can really add up in the future, which will definitely inspire some folks to participate, especially from low income locations.
I still don't know why you decided like that, because you are obviously a strong poster, so you can keep posting, to clean up the forum, to help other forum users, and still receiving some bitcoins from reputable campaigns. Why not? If you want to give open slot for others, appreciated your kindness.
Quote
Pretty much I stopped participating in signature campaigns in early 2018 because I just did not want the ongoing hassle.  I had acquired more than 3 bitcoins in about 2 years from the ones that I was in.. but still, when the BTC price went shooting up, I just began to think that my BTC holdings were way more valuable than trying to chase after more.. so that is kind of a personal choice based on circumstances.
6273  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] Members who have a lot of earned sMerits on: July 30, 2019, 01:47:47 AM
Members have 34% of all sMerits
I like this one at most, because it give me a real data, from which I can imagine that nearly one-third of users whom have sMerits, and hold their sMerits are Members. People complained that high rank users hold their sMerits, but the data shows opposite facts.

Announcement:

Enhanced merit UI [1.1] has been modified to separately show amount of sMerits from personal and merit source.
It's piece of cake, i've made slight modification for your need :

Code:

      $("#em-smerit-count" + msgId).html('<a href="https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;msg='+msgId+'" target="_blank">Available:</a> <b>'+sMerit+'</b> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;')
    } else if (sMerit!=null && source_sMerit!=null) {
      $("#em-smerit-count" + msgId).html('<a href="https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;msg='+msgId+'" target="_blank">Available (yours | source):</a> <b>'+sMerit+' | '+source_sMerit+'</b> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;')
    };
    });
  });
   $(".grue-merit-popup").toggle(false);
})();

It's based on version 1.1 & i separate personal and source merit amount. I did it in a minute, so i hope there aren't any logic error.

Edit : screenshot if you're merit source. If you're not, it's exactly same with version 1.1

Blocks are nice and empty at the moment if anyone wants to consolidate.  Just had a 20 sat transaction clear in first block I think.
here you go: Bitcoin Transaction Fees - Everything in one
I went with the suggested regular fee at two of my wallets, fees are very low (paid approx. 3 sats/byte).  Let's see how long it takes them clear.
You can consolidate your bitcoin at 1 satoshi/byte.
Once again, you have good time to move your bitcoin with cheapest fees, at 1 satoshi/ byte.

Currently, it seems that transaction fees fluctuated around 1 sat/byte. Fees for transaction with 1 input (148 bytes), 3 outputs (102 bytes) costs only 260 satoshis, which is double than yesterday fee.
It is a best time to consolidate your bitcoin leftovers, but it doesn't last for too long. Hurry up.

6278  Other / Meta / Re: why are more posts deleted in this few days? on: July 24, 2019, 02:17:11 AM
what's happening?
the rate at which posts are deleted in few days is becoming scary and alarming,i am not saying deleting irrelevant post is not understood,but sometimes i sincerely cannot tell why some of my post were deleted. i keep imagining, please am i the only one noticing this?
More users reported posts that they think are bad, shit posts.
Reasons of posts deleted mainly are off-topic, trolling, low quality or useless. Among those reasons, despite one-line posts, I believe the most common reason is off-topic. There are sometimes disagreement on how to judge a post as an off-topic post or not, but most of times moderators do their works well.
You can take a look at the first two unofficial rules of the forum, there:
1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

2. No off-topic posts.

6280  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Mutual Sports Betting & Casino 🎲 || No Registration or KYC 💰 on: July 23, 2019, 06:30:30 AM
Sport betting might be so entertaining rather than other games because besides bets you can watching the game to figure out the results of your bets especially if you bets for your favourite teams and onehash is one of good option to placing your bets on sport events but some of people might be have different opinion here because not just like you i personally consider there is no easy money in gambling
Right? I do sport bets in real life, with fiats, in my nation. So, yeah it is cool to watch sport matches, such as El Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona, while bet with a small money through crypto currencies. It will make matches become more interesting to watch. We will wait for only one goal, something like this.
