322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval; Price dumps, what Next? on: January 14, 2024, 11:34:42 AM
As the title suggests, we have all been waiting for this period for a long time, and it has finally here, yet the price of BTC remains low despite the high spot ETF Bitcoin trading volume. We were led to expect that the price would increase upon SEC approval, but the contrary is now happening.  What now?

This is a familiar pattern. When the Bitcoin Future was approved a few years ago, everyone thought the price would go through the roof. The opposite was the case. The day after the future was approved, Bitcoin reached a temporary price peak and then entered a bear phase. I recognize the same pattern now with the ETF approval. A lot of money has flowed into Bitcoin since October, simply through speculation on the approval. This was already priced into the price, so to speak.

Really fascinating... Is it sure to make 100$ bucks a day at what platforms?

He did use the money many usually claim for the job(s) on those platforms. That is the mistake in his calculation. However those number are never (or very rarely) paid. As I have written before, the high competition on the platforms means that you have to accept a sharp reduction in your claims in order to get any job at all. Even more so in a weakening global economy.

I'm curious about whether we will see Jadon Sancho starting to play by the Darmstadt game today. If he is registered to the league squad before this game then we should be able to see him. However he would probably be on the bench first. Actually if I were in Terzic's place I would have started this game with him in the starting lineup.

Because Sancho is already very familiar with this team and the environment around here. He shouldn't have any problem with adaptation in the end. In addition to that Dortmund would really make use of his talent a lot as soon as Terzic starts using him.  Smiley

Sancho is certainly familiar with the environment and surroundings in Dortmund, but not really with the coach and the team, because both have changed significantly since he left. You should know that players like Haaland, Hakimi, Bellingham, Guirero and more used to play for Dortmund when Sancho was there the first time and they've all left. The system Dortmund play today is also different to two years ago. Nevertheless, Sancho had a good start against Darmstadt yesterday, even though he will only be at Dortmund for six months. As Dortmund's sporting director has made public, Dortmund do not have an option to buy him.
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin [BTC] Price Could Reach $1.5 Million by 2030 Says Cathie Wood on: January 13, 2024, 06:41:31 PM
Cathy Wood is a contro-indicator for me, so I don't think BTC will reach $1.5 million by 2030. Her Ark fund is a disaster. I don't understand why she is so hyped just because the fund did well during the low interest rate phase and the whole tech rally. But it has been underperforming massively for over 2 years now and has missed some trends (e.g. AI).

maybe want to make noise and see if it will do good on her business. because if they will encounter her name, for sure, people will search about her and see who is she in this market. most of the time, if a person is exaggerating something, he or she has some motives and want to make it happen no matter what.

People don't really need to research about her, because especially young people (Gen Z) know here very well. In the bull run and the hype phase of Wallstreet Bets, she was kinda Jeanne d’Arc of many in this age group. That's why too many people still trust her and her fund.

1. Digital Marketing is guaranteed to earn at least $500+/day.
2. Job as a Virtual Assistant may earn one $150/day from these sites; fiverr.com, upwork.com.
3. Reviewing Songs is also expected to earn on an average, $200/day.
4. Watching Ads is one I find quite fascinating, but it is sure to earn one $100/day.

Your assumption for the daily earnings for all four variants is far too high.
Especially point four. You will never earn $100 a day just by watching ads. If you earn $1-2 a day, you must be happy.

The same with jobs on Fiverr and similar platforms. You just take the numbers you see, but the competition is massive. I offer small programming jobs on the platforms from time to time and when someone posts on his profile that he charges $15 an hour, I actually end up paying between $6-$8 an hour, which is almost half because there are so many offers and everyone ends up dropping the price to get the job.

Son is at the Asian Cup too so they will need somebody to step up in his absence. I am doubtful Werner will come close to replicating the influence Son has.

Son and Werner are different strikers. He's not a one-to-one first team player for Son. Tottenham would therefore have to adapt their strategy, tactics and formation to Werner's style of play, which I can't imagine happening in the middle of the season. I'm really curious to see how this experiment will end. Tomorrow against ManU will probably be his first match.

🚗💨 Share your survival tips below - let's build a fortress of crypto wisdom!

I've been active in crypto for several years and one piece of advice I can give every noobs is this: Be skeptical when others are greedy.

There is no free lunch. This means that with many new coins/tokens in particular, someone will end up paying the bill because most of them don't bring anything new and they are just projects to make a lot of money quickly for the founders. Do your research and check every investment skeptically.

330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF officially approved! on: January 12, 2024, 06:11:38 PM
Approved is fine and dandy, but until we see some trading, we will not see the results of this approval (other than the speculative side, of course). So thats begs the question of when will the trading finally be unlocked?

Isn't it already "unlocked"? I think I've read somewhere that the Blacrock ETF is already available on some platforms or with some brokers.
The speculative side is already exhausted. If the price doesn't start climbing up shortly, we'll probably see a drop as all those who "bought the rumours to sell the news" will get a signal that there's no more to be earned and that it's time to sell.
We might be actually witnessing this already, as the price dropped to around $43.5k. Hopefully the demand for the ETFs can turn this around soon.

According to a Reuters article[1] from today, $4.6 billion flowed into the already available Bitcoin ETFs funds on the first day. All the more strange that the price hardly moved upwards yesterday and even fell significantly today. It seems as if the speculators are acting according to the motto: buy the rumors, sell the news.

To find a striker of Kane caliber is very difficult, we can mention a name like Osimhen. We also understand that the competition to get the signature of a player like Osimhen is also very difficult, not just money but also the club bargaining value in winning trophies.
A player as badly out of form as Werner is unlikely to help Tottenham. The mockery Tottenham are getting for the loan is justified. There are some up-and-coming top strikers in Europe's smaller leagues who have a good goalscoring quota this year. If Tottenham had spent 20-30 million and signed such a player, they would certainly have profited more. Now it remains to be seen and hoped that Werner, against all expectations, performs in a good way.
But Tottenham have reasons for choosing Werner even though their performance is not so good, the most reasonable reason is because Werner plays more often in the top European leagues, but Tottenham also still has hope where Werner can return to his best performance.

Werner has already failed in the Premier League with Chelsea. In the end, Chelsea were happy to hand him back to Leipzig. In Leipzig he showed a few good games at the beginning but in the end he was only a supplementary player although Leipzig is playing in the CL and needs every player. And now he is supposed to help Tottenham, who are still suffering from the leave of Kane, to score more goals? I can hardly imagine that.

333  Economy / Economics / Re: If you are investing in the stock market, coinbase is good to invest in now! on: January 11, 2024, 06:49:30 PM
What are thoughts as well?

No! Coinbase stock lost 6% today because of the Spot ETF approval. You may be wondering how that can be.

Quite simply: 11 ETFs have been approved, each of which costs an annual fee of 0.2 to 0.9%. So they are pretty cheap. At Coinbase and other exchanges, the fees are significantly higher. Coinbase will not benefit from this, especially as it is foreseeable that ETFs for other major coins will soon follow. I even believe that yesterday marked the beginning of the descent of the big exchanges.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world soon become tired of the US dollar? on: January 11, 2024, 06:45:50 PM
Recently, we see countries like Saudi Arabia,  the UAE that has been making waves with several investments that may include multimillion dollar soccer stars signings, building the tallest building in the world, development of tourism and attractions that bewildered the mind. Also, Iran,  Egypt and Ethiopia has officially joined BRICS and although Argentina rejected the invitation, one question is this,

The problem with this is that it is not sustainable development. The economies of these countries are built on sand (funny play on words I know). Most of their income is based on oil and gas. Tourism and everything else is negligible. However, the time of oil and gas is slowly running out, neither are they available forever, nor will they be less in demand due to the transformation of many industrialized countries because of climate change. That is why these countries are desperately trying to find alternative business models, which has not worked very well in recent years. All the ostentatious buildings are just appearances. The fact that countries are obliging ageing football top stars for a few years may bring short-term publicity, but will not be sustainable either. In principle, this is a huge money-burning machine.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF officially approved! on: January 11, 2024, 06:36:51 PM
This may not be normal as bitcoin ETFs should be able to bring more money into the market which then causes prices to increase drastically - but it may take some time for this news to be confirmed. If this news is true - then I think the market is really going to party in the next little while. Let's wait and see how he reacts.

What many people don't consider and what I miss in the discussion when it comes to this topic. A Bitcoin ETF that bets on rising prices will be accompanied by one that bets on falling prices. It will therefore become easier to short Bitcoin on a large scale than it has happened in the past, which could also lead to more volatility overall and, in bear phases, to greater price collapses for Bitcoin. It has its upsides and downsides.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to research a quiet crypto company? on: January 10, 2024, 06:40:27 PM
By using this keyword "brassmint" it brought me here brassmint.com it does not have much information but talks about investment tools and digital/virtual money.
I can't seem to find much more info about this project I tried to check their backlinks but no results except for two sites where it links but those two links are domain tools.

I also checked the domain it is a 1-year-old site I can't gather more info about this site if what exactly this.
Are you sure that your roomie got a paycheck from that site? It maybe lie?
Yeah I get nothing too. My roomie is doing the web setup for them and just started so maybe they are just very new, maybe its too early? The check (or cheque sorry spelling) is legit and pays for things here so at least they pay him right. About double usual pay but I hear crypto companies often do that to attract the right people quick. Not sure if tge dead ends are making me angry or curious lol
As BitMaxz already pointed out, brassmint.com seems to be the closest information you can find via Google. When you assume this is indead the company you are looking for you can do a whois request of the domain via https://www.whois.com/whois/brassmint.com . It states that the registrar is a German company and registrant's country is Denmark (DK). With this information you can continue your research.
Thats my roomie's web business, but thanks for the tips. He speaks english on the phone so they are prob not danish vut that doesnt narrow it down much
I feel like an industrial spy lol

So you mean brassmint.com was created by your roomie and he got the money for it and now you want to know what the company he created the website for does? I thought your roomie got paid for another job by the company behind Brassmint and now you want to know what they do so you can get an idea of what your roomie got paid for.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seems it's alt season... Any suggestions..? on: January 10, 2024, 06:37:35 PM
Seems like the market is gradually waking up, and I believe now is the time to start accumulating your preferred alts to position yourself for the upcoming season.

All alt seasons wind have so far started with a delay of 3-6 months after a Bitcoin season. So a lot depends on how Bitcoin will continue to develop. However, as soon as the alt season starts, the wave lifts all ships, meaning that all altcoins will benefit, some more than others.

A good candidate for me is InternetComputer*. It has already performed well in recent weeks and the potential in an crypto bull market is quite large because there is also a competent team behind it.

Jadon Sancho is a player that understand Borrussia Dortmund, all he needs is to be fit and move according to the plans of the management and the coach. I don't doubt his capacity for that club, so much comes with playing for Manchester United, you either adapt or run away, and no player stands a chance above the manager, him leaving not good but Manchester United have to sacrifice for the long run.

I'm not sure if Jadon Sancho would work out at Dortmund again. When he left the club it was a different team, with Haaland, Bellingham, Gureiro, Hakimi and many more. With all the players he played so well with and could perform with and reach the high market value are gone. Dortmund haven't bought new players well in recent years and that's why they have problems. If Sancho was in top form, then maybe he could improve the team. But an out-of-form player in an out-of-form team will not work.
