541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regarding the high loss rate of Bitcoin, has Satoshi Nakamoto considered? on: March 24, 2022, 11:02:39 AM
If the loss rate reaches more than 5% per year, will it seriously affect the circulation of Bitcoin.

I don't think a future annual loss rate of 5% is realistic. With currently around 19 million mined Bitcoin, this would mean that almost 1 million BTC would be lost per year. Even 1-2% I think is too much. In the past, this may have been the case, because the hodlers were more careless with the private keys, since Bitcoin had only a low value. Nowadays, Bitcoin are also priced like gold, and people are taking care of them accordingly.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LRC coin worth holding? on: March 24, 2022, 10:56:54 AM
LRC is a good coin with geat technology and an actual motive what do you think about the future of this project?

Well, that is not a guarantee that the coin will perform well in the future. I have seen many projects fail in recent years that had great technology and good motives. That alone is not enough. I don't know the LRC in detail, but I have observed many projects in the past that had similar characteristics.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I might have lost my BCH. What are my chances of recovery? on: March 22, 2022, 12:28:43 PM
Because you do not have the private key to that wallet, you can not recover the coin, but the coin is with the exchange B that do not support it, contact exchange B support care for your coin recovery.

That is the only what you can do as you do not have the private key to the address you sent it to, the exchange B has it.

I agree, that's your only chance!

You have to hope that the exchange will pay you back the coins. Because only it has the private key to access the coins on the other chain. If the exchange has not implemented the other chain, then they will most likely not bother to implement it just to give you your coins back. This is your only option, although I think the chance of success is rather low.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 22, 2022, 12:23:20 PM
You made a good analysis of Bayern. Bayern has very experienced players. When many teams fall behind in score, morale drops. However, Bayern knows how to win the game 5-1 even if they are behind in score. Experience is something money can't buy. All of the players have this more than enough. In Dortmund this may be missing.  It's missing even in Haaland. He will become more experienced over time.

Besides experience, Bayern players are extremely team-fixated. That's one of the qualities the club looks for in new signings. This is also the reason why Bayern would never sign players like Messi, Ronaldo, Drogba and others (if they had the chance), because they would upset the team structure. In my opinion, there is no top team in Europe, apart from FC Liverpool perhaps, where all the players line up in such a way without airs and graces and special treatment.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prince Philip of Serbia: "only way around inflation is Bitcoin" on: March 22, 2022, 12:19:27 PM
A bit of background about him here: https://royalfamily.org/royal-family/hrh-prince-philip/

To summarize, Prince Philip of Serbia was born in 1982, so he's relatively young, and is currently working with a global asset manager in London.

Okay, I did some research and, despite the noble title, this is just someone who is a consultant. But he has no decision-making power at all, because Serbia is no longer a monarchy. It's all well and good that someone with a princely title has this opinion, but it's also not worth more than many economists who are positive about Bitcoin. Or did I miss something in the intention of your thread?
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Malaysian Ministry proposes cryptocurrencies as legal tender? on: March 21, 2022, 02:16:29 PM
Okay now this is getting out of hand! After El Salvador being the first, to Honduras set to make BTC as legal tender soon, and now this??

It is not only Malaysia, but also Mexico [1] and Ukraine (at least plans before the war) want to introduce Bitcoin as an official means of payment. There are certainly other countries that have recognized the advantages and just haven't made it public yet.

547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 21, 2022, 02:07:34 PM
I have no words to say about this. Barcelona just erased Real Madrid in front of their supporters yesterday. They obliterated Real Madrid by a 4-0 result and this was a lot to sink in for Real Madrid. I wonder if they will come back stronger after having a very poor result like this. They should be thankful that they are still in a safe place in the standings. But for Barcelona, I think that they are surely going to leave Sevilla behind before the end of the season. Sevilla have started a really bad form and this will cost them their second position.

I would not have believed the rapid rebirth of Barcelona. A few weeks ago, the question was whether they could even qualify for the Europe League, so badly did they play in parts and now they sweep Real 4-0 from the field. Especially Aubameyang and Dembele are the new important axis of the game that play perfectly together.

549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 21, 2022, 01:58:08 PM
I don't think Real Madrid will be able to sign Haaland. And I also think the player will always prefer Manchester City over Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid has the ability to sign Haaland, why not?
That's your assumption only to suspect him prefer City or Munchen. In fact, no one knows which club Haaland prefers to move to.

One is not sure if it was a slip of the tongue or speculation. But Dortmund sporting director Matthias Sammer recently said in a live interview in response to a question about a possible move by Haaland to Manchester City that Guardiola and Haaland will be a good fit. When asked if that meant Haaland was in agreement with ManCity, he then declined to elaborate when he realized he must have inadvertently given something away.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: March 20, 2022, 11:55:02 AM
None of those listed. But I can tell you one that you didn't list: IOTA.

Almost all of the ones you mention are already way too expensive for what they are used for. They may go up in price a bit more, but none of them will "blow up" for sure.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is trick for average joe but financial people know truth on: March 20, 2022, 11:47:45 AM
Amd very soon we will have shortages of money and prices will fall fast once the average JOE is empty of any money amd savings.

Do you know the term "Fed Put"?

In principle, it describes at the latest when the central bank will intervene again to print more money in order to prevent stock prices from collapsing, which will inevitably happen if consumer prices fall as you describe. Currently, Americans have about 45 trillion invested in stocks. Neither the central bank nor the politicians can accept sharply falling stock prices. So the scenario as you describe it will not happen.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 20, 2022, 11:43:02 AM
Real Madrid has won the Champions League the most of all in recent years. They didn't have that many other players except for Ronaldo, did they? Admittedly, Ronaldo was unique, but Modric was already there then. Real is a team that can also win the Champions League this season. If you can beat PSG, then you must be able to beat Chelsea and then you must have a good day against a team like Bayern. We will probably see a lot of spectacle in the semi-finals. Chelsea are good, but not so good that they will win the Champions League again. Far too erratic.
I personally also believe that Real Madrid has the potential to win the Champions League this season but there is one strong candidate that Real Madrid must beat this season for the Champions League, namely Bayern Munich.
Because beating Chelsea this season may not be too hard for Real Madrid, but against Bayern Munich, I think it will be much harder to beat even if you can.

I agree. Bayern has been the top favorite for me to win this year's Champions Leauge for some time now. After the game against PSG, Real is also one of them. I didn't really expect much from the aging stars Benzema, Modric and Kross, but against PSG they triumphed again like in the old days. ManCity and Liverpool are the other two favorites for me. I'm not sure about ManCity because they always lose in the decisive matches.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 20, 2022, 11:38:39 AM
How much Bitcoin does he currently own? Did he make that public yet?

No he never gave any information about it. For me it was surprising that he owns Bitcoin at all. So far, to my knowledge, he had only confirmed that he owned Doge but not Bitcoin. He always tweeted positively about it but never confirmed it.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: March 20, 2022, 11:36:44 AM
China is the only neutral party for now, and this places it in a leadership position in seeking a solution to the conflict. China must rise to this leadership opportunity and Russia and the NATO allies must embrace China's leadership as the only solution to end this conflict that has the potential to consume the entire European continent and the west

Neutral? China is anything but neutral, although it looks that way. In the Chinese media, the little nonsense is spread like in Russia. In China, too, there is talk of a "special operation" instead of a war of aggression. China may look neutral, but indirectly it supports Russia through several ways because they have the same enemy: Democracies.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 20, 2022, 11:34:25 AM
~
It was an easy game, not really a challenge. FC Bayern has now won again after two draws. A 4-0 against Union Berlin, was not really difficult. Defensively Bayern was super today. The lead at the top of the league on Borussia Dortmund is now back at 7 points. Lewandowski has now already scored 31 goals in 27 games.
union berlin so far never make Bayern in difficulty during their meetings, a 4-0 win is a deserved final score

Bayern is getting stronger at the top of the standings with 63 points, while Dortmund is in second place with 56 points. being this season champion, is getting more visible in front of Bayern

Union Berlin is not always an easy opponent for Bayern as it seems. So far, there have been six encounters between the two clubs. Bayern has won four of those games, but there have also been two draws. I remember one game from last year where Union was clearly the better team, but they didn't take their chances, otherwise Bayern would have lost the game.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ukrainian token (virtual hrivna)l on: March 18, 2022, 12:36:14 PM
Why not Bitcoin or other "stable" cryptos? Introducing a new token in war times is not the best idea since it needs to build up a infrastructure first. Before the war, I remember, Ukraine was one of the candidates to make Bitcoin a legal tender after El Salvador. I think it would be more meaningful if Ukrainian government or the President would announce that Bitcoin is now a legal tender. I think this would has such an impact that a lot of bitcoin hodlers and companies would strengthen their activities to help the Ukrainian people.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quit expecting a ETH killer on: March 18, 2022, 12:30:08 PM
It's getting annoying to see people talking about a project is the next Ethereum killer, for how long are we going to keep this up? So far there are so many ETH killers that haven't taken a single shot at Ethereum, this has proven that Ethereum isn't a project that any new coin or token can just take over like that, it has never been easy.

That will be as long as Ethereum is the quasi-standard for Web3 and smart contracts. Because it's a good advertising tool to say that our project is the next Ethereum killer. I wouldn't give a damn about such statements anymore, because since 2015 there have been quite a few Ethereum killers and none of them came close to the popularity of Ethereum.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 18, 2022, 12:19:16 PM
I really don't understand why Liverpool is not sorting out the problem with Mohamed salah's contract because he has done quite well with Liverpool.

Well, so Liverpool certainly wants to extend with Salah. If that hasn't happened yet, then there are only two reasons for me: Either Salah demands so much money that even Liverpool doesn't want to pay that much, which is rather unlikely for me, or Salah doesn't want to extend and is waiting for good offers from other clubs. The last option seems the most likely to me.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 17, 2022, 06:18:54 PM
Elon Musk won't sell his bitcoins, he tweeted this and we see no big movement in the market. There was a time when his tweets had big effects on the market. This guy is losing his value by promoting Dogecoin.

Yeah, he won't sell his Bitcoin or his shitcoins, who cares. I think that in this forum we don't really care what he says, although it must be recognized that he has a short-term influence on the markets.

Well, in principle I would agree with you. But you shouldn't forget that Musk now has a certain influence on prices. He has a large following who hang on his every word. If Elon says he's investing in coin X, then that coin will certainly see an increase. Therefore, his tweets are meaningful, whether you like him (or its behavior) or not.
560  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [VORSICHT möglicher SCAM] Frankfurter Fintech Startup Savedroid startet ICO on: March 17, 2022, 06:09:30 PM
