1081  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: September 17, 2021, 01:07:30 PM
Knowledge 100% of the time.

Fact of the matter is that credit is very easy to access these days and it's not too difficult if you start something without any capital. The fixed costs to business have been totally eliminated with the popularity of online business these days.

You need the right expertise and skills more than ever. Capital is the easy part to secure once you've gotten around to formulating a legitimately good idea.

I totally agree with you! Knowledge is the most important thing today. Because capital is sufficiently available. Maybe not in every part of the world but in a large part of it. You can see that just by looking at all the startups these days. They are flooded with capital, so that they sometimes do things that they didn't really want to do and that often fail. In order to be successful, the key is no longer capital, but the idea and thus also the knowledge to implement the idea correctly.
1082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: September 17, 2021, 12:58:54 PM
Thank you for all the submissions. I have reviewed all of them up to this point as far as possible and included them in the list.

This Giant Beast That is the Global Economy: Is Money Bullshit?

Season 1 Episode 7 On  Prime video @ about 19:30

This is the only post I haven't added yet because I couldn't find enough information on it. Do you have a film clip or a film description somewhere that shows Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies? Would be cool, then I would also add it to the list.

after two match Lionel Messi still not make anything for PSG exactly on champion league when played draw with Club Brugge, without any one shot and not any assist made by Lionel Messi make many fans not happy with Leo performance for PSG, can he give more expectation on PSG or not.
I understand that fans prolly want an immediate impact from Lionel Messi, but imo, they must have to be patient with the Argentine, we are all aware of the quality he possesses, but we must also not forget that he spent almost all of his career in Barcelona, and PSG is more or less a new territory to him and he must have to adapt to how they play, I'm pretty sure Messi will have a successful spell for PSG, at least from am individual perspective.

The big question is whether so many superstars can play together without problems. In the last CL game, Neymar, Messi and Mbappe were on the pitch from the start for the first time and we all know how the game turned out. PSG was not really outstanding. Bruges had a good chance to even win the game. On paper, PSG should have dominated the game and won clearly. The next CL game is against ManCity. That will show how strong PSG really is.
1084  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Asset Management Platform - what do you think? on: September 16, 2021, 11:37:16 AM
At least the opening post sounds much more professional than many other projects presented here.
The backlog of features sounds very good. I think there is still no really good portfolio management in the crypto area. In the stock sector, there are much better ones.
I would also like to see that you can make trades directly from the portfolio management app. The APIs of the exchanges such as Binance basically allow such a feature.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 16, 2021, 11:33:45 AM
After Leipzig lost 1-4 to Bayern Munich the last weekend, they also lost yesterday in the Champgnos League against Manchester City. They scored 3 goals themselves (which is good), but they also got 6 goals (which is bad). I'm curious to see how they will play against Koeln on Saturday.

Leipzig are out-of-form now a lot. And they conceded 10 goals and scored 4 goals in their last two matches. It is really huge for Leipzig. They were not this bad in the last season. I remember that Leipzig conceded only one goal against Bayern Munich home. Nagelsmann's departure affected the team deeply as it seems. I hope to see them defeating Koln next and starting to recover.

apart from the departure of nagelsman, leipzig also had to give up some of their core players who moved to other clubs this season, i think now leipzig has a pretty big problem both in their defense and attack lines, the result of the match against mnchester city in the champions league can be a reference for Jesse Marsch to improve leipzig performance in next match, I think this season leipzig is far very different compared to last season leipzig which was quite superior and was able to be runner-up in the bundesliga last season.

Yes that's right! Leipzig has clearly lost more quality than it has gained. It should be noted that both the defensive chief Ubamecano and the midfield chief Sabitzer moved to Bayern. They have not been able to compensate for these losses with adequate new signings. In addition, the leaving of Nagelsmann, probably the best coaching talent in Europe.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Germany have too many Bitcoin Nodes. on: September 16, 2021, 11:28:26 AM
Ah, yes! You just forgot one important point in your post. The why! Why is it a problem that a country runs so many nodes? No matter if it is Germany or another.

Besides, you have already anticipated a correct point. In Germany, there are also many TOR nodes relative to the population. So, many of the Bitcoin nodes might not even be from Germany.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenSea head officer caught on insider trading on: September 15, 2021, 10:49:04 AM
Crypto trading is in large part a Wild West. Where there is no regulation, the door is open to abuse through insider trading, pump and dumps and other forms of abuse. But this is not a new problem, it is part of the crypto market. And I think due to its decentralized nature is will remain a part for a long time. So this news is not a surprise.

1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some things only pre-2011 Bitcoin users would know? Culture & practices on: September 15, 2021, 10:40:33 AM
There were faucets where you got up to 50 Bitcoins per request daily. Today this is up to $2,5 million. Even later you still had the chance to find faucets here and there which gave away 1+ Bitcoin on each requests. From today's perspective, enormous values were given away for free at that time. At that time, however, it was only a few cents at best.
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 14, 2021, 08:44:18 PM
Champions League football can be brutal at times, it seems Bayern Munich has figured out how to beat Barcelona because this is becoming a habit or hobby for the...current scores Barcelona 0-2 Bayern Munich with less than 20 minutes to go.

As a Bayern fan and because I bet on a Bayern win, I see the result with joy. Bayern controls the game, so nothing should really go wrong. The problem is Barca's forward. De Jong has not yet had a real chance against the Bayern defense. Barca lacks the connection from midfield to forward. That is exactly the role that Messi has filled. He seems to be missed badly in this team.

Update: Lewandowski scored. 0-3 for Bayern.
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El salvador a trail blazer for other developing countries on: September 14, 2021, 08:37:45 PM
How about we see the macroeconomic results of El Salvador's decision first, and then make conclusions about it. I see so many people already celebrate it as a great success, and while the fact that first country in the world has made Bitcoin a legal tender is remarkable, we don't know yet if the effect on their economy will be positive or negative or if it even be noticeable at all.

Well, agree! We are witnessing an experiment that has never happened in the history of mankind. A country introduces a currency that cannot be multiplied at will, over which it has no control, and which can be transferred worldwide in minutes without the need of an indimediary instance. As I wrote in an earlier post: We should wait 1-2 years. If El Salvador will make good experience with it, then this would be a blueprint for other countries that have similar conditions as El Salvador.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Proof of Work still the winner on: September 13, 2021, 12:00:41 PM
Chia miners/community members thought they/the coin were doing the morally right way to “mine” cryptocurrency, by “not wasting” electricity, but what they did was waste the most precious currency on Earth. Their Time.

Do not understand why they should have wasted their time? Most of them certainly mined to make a profit. And they certainly did, because Chia was significantly more profitable to mine than Bitcoin, for example. So if they sold in time before the short crashed, they still made a nice profit.

The false start for Juventus after the defeat yesterday against Napoli is perfect. The only point they have scored so far was in the game in which Ronaldo was still there. And Juve president recently said that Juve would be better without Ronaldo Cheesy

Die Gutschrift erfolgt also andauernd.

Insgesamt ging alles sehr smooth vonstatten.

Neutrino-Staking gepackt.
1095  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitconia look like? on: September 12, 2021, 05:57:57 PM
Some people may thing that there are countries that would do better to adopt bitcoin as legal tender, just like in El Salvador, and in many others bitcoin is widely used for fear of the economic and authoritarian policies of the governing juntas.

In the past, this question has been discussed and it was largely theoretical.

Now, however, with El Salvador, we recently have a country that is actually carrying out this experiment.

Therefore, we should observe the development there over the next 1-2 years and if this experiment succeeds, then other countries in which similar problems exist will certainly be open to it.
1096  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: September 12, 2021, 05:54:48 PM
Corruption is the easiest way that they know to get richer which is too unfair especially to hardworking athletes and people who involve in sports. However, there are still trustworthy people who work fairly. We can't stop corruption but let's hope that more honest people in the world of sports would exist.

But corruption is also only possible when there are hardly any rules and monitoring measures. Normally, corruption should hardly exist in developed countries nowadays. But in fact, there are always surprising revelations that show it is still widespread. FIFA can be cited as a good example. Without corruption, the awarding of the World Cup to Qatar would not have happened.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 11, 2021, 03:44:45 PM
The last 10 minutes before halftime were pretty fast-paced. First Brandt fails to equalize, then two minutes later Haaland scores the equalizer. Another two minutes later Dortmund takes the lead through Bellingham. After the video check, however, the goal is not given, which can be doubted. Personally, I did not see such a clear foul. Then Dortmund continues to press and in injury time of the first half Leverkusen makes the 1-2. Really very entertaining football. I hope the second half continues like this.
Yes what a first half it was even the second half is on fire first brandt equalize and then diaby gives the lead again for leverkusen 3 2 its a pretty tight game with a better performance from dortmund they are really pressuring to get that equualizer and i think they can a draw is a more logical result in this game.

Yes, it was a spectacular match with seven goals. I thought it would be a good game, but I didn't think it would be such an entertaining game. I bet on Dortmund to win, although it cost me some nerves Cheesy Luckily Haaland converted the penalty kick in the 77th minute sovereignly and after that there were no more crystal clear chances for Leverkusen.

Overall, however, has shown what was already last year a problem with Dortmund. They are world class in attack, but only mediocre in defense.

1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 11, 2021, 02:13:51 PM
We are going to start with a really great game today: Bayer Leverkusen v Borussia Dortmund. In my opinion, Dortmund are a little more ahead of their opponent in this game. But it is obvious that it is going to be a tough and very competitive game for both sides. Both teams started with decent results. Leverkusen are quite strong in their home games. And they defeated Dortmund in their last two home games by 2-1 and 4-3. We can understand from the results that each team can find goals very easily against each other. So my first choice to bet on is "both teams to score" now. Maybe I can give Dortmund's win a chance in a parlay which consists of high-odd games.

At the moment, Bayer looks much stronger than Borussia, even if you do not take into account the early goal Bayer could have scored another one in the 19th minute, but Borussia turned out to be luckier there. I think that if Bayer can score the second goal before the break, then Borussia will have no chance of even drawing.

1 -1 now. And bet who made it? Haaland of course  Cheesy Leverkusen has been the better team so far, but you also have to remember that Brandt missed two top chances. If he had made these, Dortmund would have to lead at least 2-1. Leverkusen is the better team, but Dortmund is clearly more effective. The momentum seems to be tipping in Dortmund's direction. Therefore, I would currently rather assume a win for Dortmund.

Update: Two minutes after the equalizer, Bellingham made the 2-1 for Dortmund but it was cancelled. There was a foul prior to the goal.
