1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Gamble as a newbie on: August 21, 2021, 11:02:35 AM
Gambling is not a way for you to get rewarded.
If you are looking for the possibility to earn money, then stay away from gambling.
If you are looking for a way to have fun and ready to spend some budget on the entertainment, then welcome Wink

I have been active in the gambling field for several years and I can only agree with @GamblingBro. Gambling is a highly speculative thing, in which the vast majority lose money instead of winning. You should rather concentrate on other ways to earn money safely. Gambling is not one of them.
1162  Other / Archival / Re: Global Crypto Adoption Has Grown By 880% on: August 21, 2021, 11:00:04 AM
This is a nice development and in my opinion only the beginning. I have an RSS feed with crypto news from over 30 sources, most of which I read daily. What is striking is the amount of news lately about more and more companies and financial institutions planning or working on implementing crypto. I think the real push of adaptation will come in the next two years.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: August 21, 2021, 10:57:21 AM
Hello! Sometimes casino give no deposits and you can get lucky.

There was a time when I tried just that, too. I signed up at all the casinos that offered a free bonus. At three casinos I was lucky enough to make a profit after completing the wager. At one casino even a very good profit (at that time Bitcoin worth about $600). Unfortunately, all three casinos have made problems with the withdrawal. One suddenly demanded (without it being in the ToS) a KYC, the other accused me of having multiple accounts, which was not true. Only at one casino I finally received the payout, which was about $80. From my experience, I advise against it if you have the goal to make money with it.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 21, 2021, 10:47:57 AM
I think the most interesting match of this matchday is Regensburg vs Schalke in the second division today. Regensburg is the league leader after three matchdays with 8-0 goals. They have a perfect run, while Schalke could only get four points from three games so far. If Schalke lose the game today against Regensburg, they are already close to the relegation places and that could cause a lot of unrest in the club. Schalke must win today in order not to lose the connection to the top early on. Will be very interesting!
1165  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2021, 11:31:06 AM
EL Salvador is a country which has got population of about 7 million. It looks like an easy thing to implement the usage of cryptocurrency and legalize the same. The country has the low per capita income. After the adoption of bitcoin, if there is increase in the per capita income then it will be a big success for the country. The small country is much affected by volcano and natural disasters. For a country like El Salvador all that required is the usage from the low level people.

This is not a good argument in my opinion. There are highly developed industrialized countries that have a similar population, for example the Netherlands or Sweden. Moreover, Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are independent of the number of participants in the network, so it doesn't make sense to argue that this would work because Ecuador is a rather small country.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being decentralised an illusion? on: August 13, 2021, 11:28:28 AM
After reading some articles from https://endthefud.org/, I am still not fully convinced that Bitcoin is decentralized and without Bitcoin being decentralized, it carries little to no value.

The best example that Bitcoin is well designed and decentralized was seen a few weeks ago. When the Chinese government shut down miners in the country virtually overnight, the mining output of around 200 exa-hash had collapsed to around 80 exa-hash. But the network adapted very quickly. There were no block generation outages or other problems. Only the price had fallen, but that has nothing to do with decentralization but with speculation. In the meantime, the exa-hash size has increased again, as the miners have moved out. For me this was a good proof how well decentralized and stable the whole system is, even if a big country bans mining activities.

1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 3rd Qualifying Round on: August 13, 2021, 11:09:58 AM
Lots of star players on the team, controlling them will be a difficult task for Pochettino. However, Messi is not fierce. He will not have a problem with the coach. Ramos and Mbappe can be a bit difficult to control. Since Mbappe has been at PSG for a few years, maybe his relationship with the coach is good. It will be a bit difficult to control Ramos. Rumor has it that PSG will sell Icardi, if it does, then Messi-Icardi's problem is solved. Moreover, Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe will be in the forward. Icardi will not get too many chances to play with Messi.

Agree! But it will also be exciting to see how well Neymar and Messi match up. They played together at Barcelona a few years ago and won the CL together once, but back then Messi was the absolute superstar and Neymar was "only" highly talented. Therefore, Messi was the undisputed leader, so the roles were clearly distributed. Today that is no longer the case and neither of the two will want to subordinate themselves in this star ensemble. That could create a lot of potential for conflict. It would be even more intense if Ronaldo were to switch to PSG.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 12, 2021, 08:53:58 AM
Today seeing the results of the Sportsbet.io ⚽ Brazil v Spain prediction game:

I noticed that all the guys in the top 3 were at some point participating in the Bitcointalk Poker Series. Now, it's not that a lot of people were participating there, somewhere around 30 ppl max, so I started wondering is there a correlation.

What are your thoughts on this, guys?

From my point of view, not really. Both types work with probabilities, of course. But there are still factors in poker as in betting that you can not influence. In my opinion, their success is due to rationality and money or balance management. These are essential in both poker and betting. If these are applied consistently, then you can be very successful in both. Nevertheless, this alone is not enough, but you must also have background knowledge of sports betting or mental stability in poker to have constant success.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some long term projects for holding? on: August 12, 2021, 08:50:02 AM
I am working with a regulated financial institution to launch a stablecoin that backed on a 1:1  with US Dollar bank reserves and crypto savings accounts. PM or respond to this post for more info.  We expect to launch the coin on the Ethereum blockchain.

Sounds pretty shady!
If you're going to do a teaser like this here, you should already add some more info. For example, from which country the cooperating financial institution is. I assume that it is not from an industrialized or developed country. Because there the regulations are now so far in force that such offers are no longer so easy. So the only countries left are those where regulation is not yet in place, which then also represents an increased risk for investors for their investments.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Super Cup 2021 on: August 12, 2021, 08:34:19 AM
Congratulations to Chelsea for winning  this year the super cup , Villarreal came back in the second half, after Chelsea in their usual characteristics manner dominated the match in the first half and both team endured a 120 minutes keenly contested match, kudos to Kepa who was usually relegated to bench due to his lacklusture and poor performances but came on to save penalty kicks and eventually became the hero of the match.
Let hope that inclusion of Lukaku in Chelsea subsequent final games will ensure his scoring goals in the normal 90 minutes duration.

Many people predict that Chelsea can win the match in regular time but unfortunately it had to be done on penalties exactly what I said before
It seems that many gamblers lose on ML bets   Cheesy I'm lucky I'm not tempted by the handicap option I prefer both teams to score
Btw congrats Chelsea  Cool

I also expected it to be more difficult for Chelsea than many saw it. Villareal has a good team and they showed what they are capable of against Man United in the final.
I especially liked Tuchel's tactical move of changing the keeper for the penalty shootout. In retrospect, that was absolutely the right move. It also shows me how deeply he now knows his team, which makes Chelsea one of the top favorites for the Premier League and Champions League for me.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I see the whole thing from a different angle on: August 12, 2021, 08:29:58 AM
No hacker will want to spend time on a platform to steal money and return it, hacking isn't easy as many thinks, it takes lot of effort and time I'm just surprised that many are thanking the hacker behind poly network for returning the fund he or she stolen, hackers only tend to be nice when there are traces left behind probably through their own mistakes..

First, of course, you need good knowledge to hack. But it also depends on how difficult it is to find and exploit a security hole. Some software have very simple bugs, others need deep knowledge to exploit bugs. In addition, not all hackers are the same. Some do it to prove themselves or to build a reputation in the scene. They usually don't care if they profit monetarily from it. Others are only after the money. Generalizing it the way you did is not accurate in my opinion.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think "token meong" on: August 11, 2021, 12:37:46 PM
Recently in Indonesia there will be a listing of the token meong which is the country's first NFT, through the Hobbit exchange which is fundamentally a meme coin, what will the coin be?  Can it survive like other community coins such as Dogecoin or Shibainu, Meong itself has 3 main pillars of art, social, and wealth development.  This program can help save the forest/environment.

what do you think about protecting the environment?
http://https://twitter.com/Hotbit_news/status/1423841913501741067?s=20

Did you see the bold sentence from your post? meme coin has nothing to do with forest and environment. Another non sense meme coin starting to be listed on a low-tier exchange site.
It needs a small amount of btc to be listed on hotbit.
I will skip this probably another scam token. it's doesn't even have potential

I agree! Leave it alone if you don't want to lose money.
It may be that the coin will make some profits initially, but it is a typical meme coin that will follow a pump-and-dump scheme and end up being worth little or nothing. The mentioned exchange is a good indicator of this. The promise to protect the rainforest is also a typical platitude.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 11, 2021, 12:33:10 PM
People who do indeed gamble on daily basis could really be considered to be a gambling addict and not for those people who do play on weekends or casual basis.

You can't say that as a blanket statement. There are also people who bet every day without being addicted, those who do it as their main job or have a good side income. However, they do it professionally and are not guided by emotions. They usually have a strict money and balance management and thus also regularly in profit. I know that because I know people like that.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 11, 2021, 12:31:09 PM
Lionel Messi to PSG: "I know how talented the players and staff are here".

It is always a blessing for him to have the best assembling team. Messi is the world's deadliest striker when he is happy. Such motivational words from Messi help the team to perform better. It's been great supporting PSG since Neymar got in. Now that Messi has joined, maybe we'll have our first Champions League.

Messi -Neymar -Mbappe will be at PSG's forward. Di Maria -Wijnaldum -Rafinha will be in the midfield. And the defense will be Ramos -Hakimi -kimpembe. And last but not least, Donnarumma is the goalkeeper. The team has talented and skilled players everywhere. If the bonding between the players is just right then they can easily beat any strong team. Neymar was injured a lot. Icardi is his replacement.

Ramos is out for the time being due to injury. When I see the team and the names, I can't help but think of the Galacticos of Real Madrid. A team of the then absolute superstars like Zidane, Ronaldo, Raul, Beckham, etc., which could never get a great triumph. I think the same will happen with this team. It's not a team but a mixture of superstars where everyone has their own vanities. This will not work
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: August 11, 2021, 12:27:55 PM
To get passive income at this time of course BNB is one that we must consider, then for now the BSC network continues to grow and this will have a positive impact for binance and the price continues to increase until now, to invest in the coin is the right choice and you can also glance at other coins whose prices are also being increased such as ethreum and TKO that we can currently rely on.
It is becoming noticeable that BNB and BSC is getting the traction although it's already popular.

There's more projects that are running on BSC and carries the popularity of BNB because of its chain.

The problem with the BNB Chain is that it is largely centralized or the few nodes are mainly from Binance. Apart from the fact that this is not in the spirit of crypto, this is also fundamentally a danger. Binance is a company that has so far been able to successfully evade any control and regulation. If the company is banned, the chain will also be dead and any assets on the chain will be worthless.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin doesn't care about Tesla and Amazon on: August 09, 2021, 01:28:23 PM
Bitcoin doesn't care about Tesla and Amazon. It stands on its own features. Bitcoin's credentials speak for itself. Those who are drawn into Bitcoin because of its technology will fully embrace it regardless of the opinions of huge companies. However, it is also a fact that many, perhaps majority even, of Bitcoin owners are looking at its equivalent in fiat. As a result, they care so much of who is supporting Bitcoin, which company is accepting it, and so on.

I agree. In the long run, Bitcoin doesn't really care if Tesla or Amazon backs the coin. In the short term, however, it does matter, because depending on this, the purchases or sales of Bitcoin increase, depending on what the companies do. This has been seen quite impressively recently.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments prohibit developers from creating a new coin? on: August 09, 2021, 01:25:36 PM
I don't understand why people are always afraid that governments should ban anything regarding crypto. That just doesn't work. Why would the government want to ban the creation of new software, because coins and smart contracts are nothing else. Moreover, you can simply deploy the code anonymously. So how do they want to punish or prosecute that? Besides, something like this is nowhere up for discussion. Not even in China. That has recently been banned mining, but not the possession of cryptocurrencies.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: August 09, 2021, 01:16:28 PM
Was about to add Start-Up, but I guess I'm a year late, since it was released 2020, this thread is quite neat and handy, I can't provide anything yet since the last series I've watched is Start-Up, will provide some films/series to this thread once I start bingeing some Netflix films/series/documentaries.  Wink

Do you mean the series StartUp aired on Crackle? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StartUp_(TV_series)

If so, it is already in the list. The series is not very new either. The first season premiered back in 2016. Unfortunately, it was discontinued after 3 seasons, although there would have been more to the story. Too bad, I was a fan of the series.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 08, 2021, 05:38:33 PM
On the medal front, China still has the most gold, while the USA has a clear advantage in the total number of medals at Tokyo 2020.

Meanwhile, the US has overtaken China and now leads with a gold medal. Even though the Games are not over yet, it looks like the US could remain the frontrunners.
What surprised me the most was Japan. Of course, it's always the case that the host does better than average, and that's how it was with the UK and Brazil recently. But I didn't expect them to do so well.
