+1 For Freewallet.io  (not to be confused with that shady eth freewallet).

You can also go for Counterwallet.io. I've been using it since I first heard about Counterparty in 2016 and invested a little. It's still a bit old-fashioned and cannot be compared to other wallets, but it does its job well. And you always have the latest version without having the need to constantly update.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: September 30, 2021, 10:44:41 AM
I think you should include songs though.

Oh, I think it's a great idea when there are already so many songs Bitcoins is mentioned. Unfortunately, for professional reasons, I currently have very little time. I plan to have another thread which expands the fields of where Bitcoin has entered the mainstream (shouldn't someone do that before me Wink ).
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea? on: September 30, 2021, 10:37:51 AM
The benefit of staking is that you earn more crypto, and interest rates .Rewards and Extra Income Staking is a important way to diversify assets and reduce transaction fees on the blockchain. It is a good for long term. Staking is actually good for long term.
I think you have forgotten about the bear market of crypto currency. All the staking are not good to generate profit. If the price of your desire coin fall down in huge amount then what will be the condition? Your staking rewards won't be able to cover this loses. In my opinion, it's better to analyze more before stake a coin.

Well, on the one hand you are right. In a bear market the staking rewards will not cover the losses you get from the price dump, however, if you are convinced that the bear market is only temporary (which it has always been for most coins), then such bear markets are the phase where you can make the most profits, especially if you save all your rewards through staking for 1-2 years and wait until the bull market starts again. Then the value of your original investment will multiply.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 30, 2021, 10:31:09 AM
Because of that he is being chased by many big clubs, he has the opportunity to become a big player. In addition, the price is also very fantastic. Dortmund is a club that prints great players in Germany, even Munich also buys many players from Dortmund.

Regarding UCL should be above the predictions of players and their teams can win easily. But in football anything can happen. You have to watch out for a lot of surprises earlier at UCL.

I think, even though it's difficult, but dortmund must be able to defend haaland next season, because i see haaland's role in every game of dortmund is very big and it was proven when they lost to gladbach a few days ago when haalaand didn't play and they were only able to create a few chances in the match That said, even if Haaland had to be sold later, at least Dortmund would sell Haaland to a team that plays in another league and not to a rival team like Bayern.

Yeah, indeed, Haaland is an important pillar in Dortmund's game. So I was very excited to see how the team would perform against Sporting Lisbon, where Haaland wasn't there. And I was pleasantly surprised. Dortmund have shown that they can be good in the offense with other players. In particular, Bellingham and the new player Donyell Marlen seem to play very well together. Dortmund had a lot of good chances. That's why I think Haaland is still an important key player, but Dortmund also has alternatives if he moves to another club next season.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 30, 2021, 10:24:40 AM
I agree with you, Barcelona are much stronger than Atletico
I think he has a lot of chances to beat this team
if we look at the bookmakers, surely the rate will have this as an index

in the end it is the parameter (the bookmakers) that helps us to understand

In what world is Barcelona currently better than Atlectico? I've seen all of Barca's recent international games and if you know a little about it, it quickly becomes apparent that the team has fundamental problems. In particular, there is hardly any connection between midfield and attack. Dempay and de Jong are sometimes completely disconnected from the rest of the team. That is also the reason for the meager goal yield.
I don't even want to talk about the bad defense. Atletico are far better than Barcelona at the moment.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Certain Coins While Being Country Restricted? on: September 28, 2021, 01:53:29 PM
What happens if you have a coin and you can no longer trade it because the exchanges that offer the option to trade... you cannot use it due to country restriction or some other similar issue?  Such as you cannot get an account there for whatever reason it maybe?

There is a fast growing number of decentralized exchanges where you can trade most coins without having any country restriction and without having an intermediary. Decentralized exchanges are the future anyway, so in my opinion such restrictions are only a temporary phenomenon. Personally, I haven't used centralized exchanges for a long time.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: US with problems to raise the debt ceiling... again on: September 28, 2021, 01:27:01 PM
China owns 1 Trillion of US debt by the way Grin

Not only China, but Japan and many other countries own a lot of U.S. government bonds, too. The USA is immensely dependent on foreign countries. If at some point these countries decide to stop buying U.S. government bonds, the U.S. will no longer be able to issue any debt at all in this form without its currency collapsing.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 28, 2021, 01:23:47 PM
As far as I know, Kuntz is a great coach, in addition to having and applying a lot of discipline, I think he must make the pertinent changes so that the team has a better result, Norway is a team that becomes very strong, In addition to its style football is usually something different and they don't play bad at all.

He is a good coach but he doesn't have any experience in major level. He only managed youth team. His achievement is still very successful, but we don't know how he manages Turkish first team. Player pool is not very big, some players are way behind of their club careers performance wise, some players don't give their %100 (cou.. Çalhan.. ough) purposefully. It's hard to manage Turkish national team for a foreigner. Lucescu was successful at his first stay but his last times was a big disaster. I hope Kuntz can take Turkish team to World Cup 2022, the whole nation need that.

Well, to be honest, Günes has mainly only coached two-class Turkish clubs (except Besiktas), some of which are even only third-class by international standards. Kuntz has become European champion with the German U21, after the German U21 had won nothing in Europe for years. He has trained and promoted many players who are world class today. I think he has the tactical and strategic level to train and improve the Turkish national team.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The misconception when buying/investing in Bitcoin on: September 28, 2021, 01:16:15 PM
I really do not believe 1BTC / more to win the poll.

Not buying more than 1 BTC is a relatively new phenomenon. When I started in 2011, it was normal to buy more than 1 BTC. The biggest amount I bought was in 2015 where I acquired around 25 BTC with one purchase. It was also not so long ago when there was a brisk sale of Bitcointalk accounts here in the forum. Senior and Hero accounts went for 1+ BTC over the table.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 27, 2021, 02:49:30 PM
Şenol Güneş, the coach of the Turkish national team, left his job. Instead of Şenol Güneş, it was agreed with the German coach Stefan Kuntz. We will now see Kuntz as coach in the remaining matches of WCQ. Turkey has a qualified staff. Güneş did not use this squad. What will Kuntz do? Will they be able to beat Norway in the first match? We will see them all soon.

Kuntz is a good coach, as he has shown time and again with the successes of the German U21s. But the problems of Turkish football are deeper than that a single coach could create a big turnaround. Therefore, Turkey can perhaps stabilize and achieve better results than recently, but that there is a big turnaround, I dare to doubt. For that, the entire management structure of the association would have to be rebuilt.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: September 27, 2021, 02:45:50 PM
We deserve to be grateful to the bitcointalk forum for providing all information about cryptocurrencies, even when we don't have capital then we can still earn online by participating in the bounties board, I think crypto earning & profit is the easiest thing we can do, if we want to become writers blogs of course must understand SEO techniques, and the level of competition is very tight.

Compared to a few years ago, the bounty section in this forum has shrunk considerably. Of course, there are still some opportunities to participate in many actions and campaigns, but after the peak in 2017, the number has fallen steadily. Overall, there are not less bounties, on the contrary, but these bounties are managed and executed outside of Bitcointalk. I expect the decrease to continue here on the forum.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa reportedly aims to integrate Bitcoin payments in Brazil on: September 26, 2021, 05:12:04 PM
Visa is looking positive to such collaboration and this is an advantage to the Brazilian economy. Few months back when PayPal announced the inclusion of four cryptocurrency including bitcoin and etheruem also visa tried coming up with some kind of leverage with bitcoin , now this partnership is a step that will further increase the market cap for visa .

I wonder why Visa supports Bitcoin. There was an interesting article on Bloomberg a few days ago about how Western Union could lose up to 400 million in revenue, just from El Salvador, if future money will no longer be transferred from abroad to El Salvador via WU. Visa or Mastercard are not as affected by this, but fundamentally Bitcoin is gnawing away at the business model of these providers. The question is, is this a flight to the future or do they have other plans/intentions.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 26, 2021, 05:04:33 PM
Dortmund lost today and dropped some very important points in an away game against Gladbach i think that red card costed them them the match they just couldnt bounce back. Frankfurt again didnt win they just cant and are struggling a lot to win. Leipzig dominated and finally won big

It was not only the red card that caused the defeat. Dortmund showed one of its two faces again. A problem that the team has had for several years. On a weekend they play world class, on such days they could beat any team in the world. And the next weekend they weaken against struggling or second-class teams. As long as Dortmund doesn't get continuity, they won't be able to compete for national and international titles.
1055  Other / Off-topic / Re: Never-ending crypto scam insanity on Youtube on: September 26, 2021, 04:44:23 PM
Everywhere where a lot of money can be made, there are such scams and fraud attempts. Youtube is known for not putting any limits on these types of videos, as many also fall under free speech. In general, I would not believe any Youtube regarding crypto, because it is only about clicks and not about real knowledge transfer. Accordingly, some questionable statements are made.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: September 25, 2021, 03:05:45 PM

Coinmarket removed coins with $4.99 volume or less.  You can trade it on freiexchange- they’re adding most old coins.  Genius move in my opinion. That exchange just might end up being in the top 5 with the treasures it’s holding which few see.

Why should an exchange end up being in the top five when it mostly only offers traiding pairs of coins with low volume and low value? I don't understand the logic behind this.
Freiexchange was originally founded because there was no good exchange for Freicoin anymore. Then they simply made a virtue out of necessity and included other coins with similar problems. But all in all, not good prerequisites to become one of the top exchanges.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: [LIST] Countries that own bitcoin on: September 25, 2021, 02:13:49 PM

Thanks for sharing the list. I took a look at it. I would not bet on whether this is still up to date. According to the list, the Chinese government owns about 1% of all Bitcoins through a seizure. The news or the source of it is almost a year old. I doubt if China still owns those Bitcoins. A proof of Bitcoin address holding them would be much more valuable. Similarly with other alleged bitcoin ownership by governments.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 25, 2021, 02:07:50 PM
Drama in the house for Manchester United!

Aston villa just beat Manchester United by a goal and in injury time Bruno Fernandez failed to convert the penalty which should have rescued a point for them, looks like its another lose in a space of 1 week so unfortunate for a home match for United, with this result pressure is mounting on Ole.  Cry

On the other hand the other Manchester club just beat Chelsea by a goal, I guess the pressure was just too much and they couldn't hold and settle for shared points. City wins 1-0.

I think Manchester United underestimated Aston Villa and paid for that. looks like they were trying to stay fresh before Champions League match vs Villarreal on Wednesday.

The defeat somehow fits into the negative image of ManUnited that I have since Ronaldo arrived. After the return of him there was a hype that brought ManUnited two victories in which Ronaldo also shone, then it got worse. It now culminated in the deserved defeat against Bern and Aston Villa. I'm curious how ManUnited will do when they really play against a top team. The game of ManUnited is too much tailored to Ronaldo, which is not good for the team.

Thank you for the submissions. I would like to include them in the list, but if this thread also list such daily shows, then the list quickly becomes much too long. That's why I would limit it to movies, series and documentaries. Maybe that would be an idea for a new thread. Nevertheless I gave you some merits for it Smiley
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: September 24, 2021, 10:37:01 AM
I don't know if this has been mentioned before so I will just delete this if it's already mentioned. It's a small mention though. In one of the episode in the TV series Ozark, Marty. Byrde's son Jonah is trying to copy what his father does which is money laundering, he says that we was using cryptocurrencies and some unknown game items to circulate the money that was given to him because before that, they were trying to escape the cartel that they work for and Jonah has his own side hustle in school, making essays for the bullies.

It's not yet in the list. Do you have further prove? Season and Episode would be great to know.

And in Brooklyn Nine-Nine S08E08, there is a running gag with Peralta investing in all sort of shitcoins and losing money each time. He also buys one or two NFTs.

Thanks, added it to the list. I guess its the first series I know where NFTs are mentioned  Smiley

Thanks, added them to the list. This is exactly the kind of documentation I am looking for at the moment. Will definitely have a look at them.

Of all the TV series listed, I didn't expect Supernatural to be one of them to mention bitcoin or cryptocurrency. In the movies, the Deadpool one is hard to find since it's probably not that shown explicitly but as just some sort of easter egg. This is a nice list, although I can't add any since it's been so long since I've watched a movie.

I just found a nice one!
In 'The Kominsky Method' on Netflix, S01E01, 18:40, one student says: "I'm gonna cash the check, buy Bitcoin. It's the money of the future."

Added both, thanks for the proves Smiley
